Love this office! I've been coming here since I was a kid with Dr. Lai, and have continued enjoying my experience at the same office when Dr. Kapadia took over. This location is pretty convenient for those in the Richardson area, or even neighboring cities because it borders Plano as well. Charlene (front desk admin) is very friendly and efficient. I always get text notifications (you can set this up with them) two times prior to coming in, and a confirmation call. This is really useful for me because I make the appointments 6 months out and don't remember the specifics. If you need to change your appointment, it's also quite convenient to change times / days. Just take a note to the days they aren't open! The process of cleaning and results are always clearly explained to me when a question arises. The cleaning and polishing process is a painless experience, and fairly quick for me (under the hour). Everyone here is so nice- Recommend this dentist! read more

My smile is ruined. Dentist Nishit is not very experienced with doing tooth fillings. He is quick but the fillings will be too big and under filled where brushing after every meal will not be enough to prevent cavities around the filling. The best he will offer is to redo the fillings and "will probably lead to root canal and crown." I had four fillings done by Nishit and all four failed the following month. I told him when he finished the fillings that when he used the floss it cut the floss. He said it was nothing to worry about and that he would make any touch ups for free when I come in a month later for cleaning. I said ok and brought it up again first thing when I came back for my cleaning a month later. The AI scan of my teeth confirmed the new fillings had all failed. I'm afraid to go back Richardson family dentistry as my teeth or so damaged I'm afraid to smile or take pictures anymore. My insurance was maxed out so I have to wait a full year to find a new dentist that can help me fix the mistakes. If you need any dental work beyond a cleaning. Please beware. I really hope no one has to be put through what I have been put through. The staff is nice and very polite including Nishit. He is just inexperienced with fillings. read more

Had my first exam here today as I needed to establish with a new dentist after moving. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and fill out all of their paperwork online which is extremely convenient. The office was super clean and welcoming. Amy was my hygienist and I absolutely loved her. She talked me through everything she was doing and what it was for. I had the most thorough dental exam I have ever had. Doc was nice, informative, and listened to my concern. All staff I talked to were so nice and made me feel like I wasn't just another patient, but like they wanted to get to know me. Dr. Kapadia took over the practice of my family dentist after she passed in 2014. I am so glad he did, as he is just as caring as she was. He is also the most gentle dentist I have ever had. Richardson Family Dentistry made it really easy as a new patient to get scheduled. I needed a last-minute cleaning and they managed to fit me in the same day. Overall, all the staff made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The front desk receptionist was very kind. Wow, my first review was 3 years ago. This office still has the nicest, most professional staff I've ever come across at any health-provider office, from the start of your visit till the end. Happy to answer questions and give tips, as quick as can be with their work while being thorough, and they care about people, not just patients. Dr Kapadia is an amazing dentist! He helped my sister who has a dentist phobia and hadn't been in years. He treated her with kindness and respect and gave her the best care while also managing to be mindful of cost. She convinced me to go to him after I had a terrible experience with a new dentist who quoted me upwards of $10,000 for crowns/root canals that were unnecessary.
