Updated: I've been coming here for about two years now, and I've definitely seen this salon improve. They recently remodeled, and it looks fantastic! The salon was always organized, but replacing the worn stations, refreshing the walls, and opening up the layout made the whole space feel brighter, cleaner, and more modern. Booking appointments online is also incredibly easy--it only takes a few seconds. Over the years I've had several technicians, and I especially want to recognize Josephine, Damon, and Hanna. They consistently provide quality work, are efficient, and make every appointment a pleasant experience. The front desk has also traditionally been friendly and quick to get clients checked in and out. I did have one disappointing experience during a recent pedicure. I requested the cat-eye gel effect, and the technician initially told me my toenails were too small. I explained that I was mainly after the sparkle, so we moved forward. Unfortunately, she didn't seem familiar with how to create the cat-eye effect I had selected. Since it was a $15 upgrade on top of the $16 shellac charge, it ended up being $31 that didn't produce the result I paid for. In the future, I'll be sure to ask beforehand if a technician is comfortable with the design I want. The only other thing that stood out during my latest visit was the new receptionist. My previous experiences at the front desk have always been warm and welcoming, but this visit felt a little different--there wasn't much of a greeting or smile, and after I signed myself in she still asked if I had an appointment. It wasn't a big deal, just a noticeable change from what I'm used to. Overall, this is still my go-to salon. The remodel looks great, online booking is convenient, and I've had far more positive experiences than negative ones. I'll definitely continue coming back. read more

After going to about every nail salon in midtown to central Omaha, I was desperate for a place that was consistent, and I finally found Loveland nails! I always have a great experience here. Booking is super easy and can be done online. I usually see Cherry, but I also have had great manicures from others when I walk in. They have a TON of colors to choose from as well as different offerings based on what's new and trendy in nail design. I always do a simple dip manicure and it usually lasts 4+ weeks. They recently renovated and it flows way better than it did before. They have new massage chairs for pedicures and the manicure chairs are also comfy. They have a large TV on each wall so it's easy to see no matter where you're sitting. While it's not the fanciest salon I've been to, the place feels clean and updated. Their prices have been sneaking up a bit, however because of the service and consistency, I'll continue to go here! read more

I made my appointment online which was pretty easy to do. When I got there I got seated pretty quickly. I realized tho that my stylist did not know what I had ordered online as far as my manicure and pedicure combo. I let her know she talked to her manager and then the appointment proceeded pretty normally. This place can get pricey tho as they charge for shaping your finger nails and other things I feel other salons don't charge for. read more

I was immediately seated while waiting for the GOAT, Tom, who did my manicure and pedicure. As this was my first time, I had questions about the services I would be receiving and what they'd include, and he walked me through them with the most transparency. I typically see Cherry (amazing!) but she had no availability for this last minute appointment, because she's popular!! I was so happy with Lauren and will be adding her to my tech list for next time. It was my first time doing builder and I'm thrilled with the results. Lauren took her time and consulted on a neutral color based on my skin tone. I had a very good pedicure at Loveland Nails today. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the technician. I was lucky enough to get a pedi right away as a walk-in. As with most nail salons, there is a menu of services at various price points. I usually just go for the basic, but my feet were in need of some pampering with a step up, The Tropical Pedi. Along with the Classic which included a gentle soak, nails are groomed, skin is massaged with lotion, and the tropical also involves a scented sugar scrub, hot stone massage and finished with a hot towel. Their sign says that they accept walk ins but it seems most people have appointments. If you do a walk in they'll most likely rush on your nails. NEVER AGAIN. I live right around the corner so I loved the convenience but the service went downhill. Which I don't understand, I'm a regular customer who tips well. I see women tipping $5 for their acrylics and they get better service. I went in asking for a fill in which I always get, and Tony started removing my nails. I asked to speak with the manager who knew what I was asking for because I'm a regular and ask for the same service. It was a big deal and embarrassing because they made a scene. She kept on telling me, he's done nails for 18 years. Okay great, I don't care if he started last week. Tony was rude, rough and patronized me the whole appointment. At the end of the appointment he shoved their business card in my purse telling me this is what to ask for next time. The whole appointment cost as much as it took to put on a whole new set. Charging for shaping and to cut down my nails which same shape as before and barely cut? I asked, the manager told me different technicians charge different prices. They NEED to tell the customer that or have it listed. The next day the color came off one so I had to file it, after that the tip came off another, and after that the whole nail altogether. I'm not one to complain but main was this a bad experience. I have been to Loveland a few years back and used to recommend them highly. It is clear some things have changed. I went in for a full set with gel asking for very natural looking nails as I have engagement pictures coming up. I showed the reference photo for what I wanted. I repeatedly told the nail tech I did not like the length, the color, and that the nails were crooked. By the end of it, he had filed them completely down. He said "do you like" and I said "no, these are very bad." He handed me the ticket and walked away. They offered to have me come back 5 hours later to have them fixed, but I do not trust this salon anymore. Needless to say I went to another salon, Z nails, and got amazing treatment by Tammy who fixed my nails for me. I went in with my daughter new to the neighborhood and asked for the most expensive pedicure assuming it included everything on the menu. It doesn't! I spent 67 plus another 15 for gel and didn't even get Paraffin wax. It was a total rip off. The whole experience was terrible. I sat with my coat on since it was cold in the place and I paid almost 200 for regular pedicures with cold stones and a hot cloth wrap. They didn't even offer me a cup of tea or a water. If you want to overpay for a very basic service this is the nail place for you. read more

When I first walked in the receptionist asked for my name since I had called in earlier and made an appointment. She handed me three things that had nail sample colors to choose from. He discounted my acrylic soak off because half had already come off and told me to never clip my acrylics because it could crack the real nail. I had never known this and am glad he told me. I was in and out in record time with beautiful, professional nails for $27 not including tip. This was for the soak off and new shellac color. I came here with my family Sunday at 2:30, this was our first time here and the lady that helped me didn't even scrub my legs very well and when she was doing my nails it wasn't good as well. When I got home I noticed I got a cut under my pinkie toe and I was bleeding and it's a big cut from when she was scrubbing my feet. And she then went on to do my hands and she wasn't putting nail polish on the sides and when I told her she kept getting mad so I kindly asked her to take it off and she got even more mad and then didn't even give me my ticket so I kindly asked her for it and she handed it to me in a ride way and didn't say nothing. Part 2: I wanted to show anyone considering this nail salon what they would receive versus what you should receive somewhere else. I would give this place negative 100 stars if I could. They refuse to refund my money back even though their service was complete shit. You can see by these photos how bad it was. I asked for almond shaped nails and they provided that (in the maroon). I had to spend even more money to have them taken off back in CA and redone (in the black). But I'm so glad I did cause even the nail lady on CA looked and said oh my god what happened. I have been to Loveland Nails several times. It was OK. But this last time I had an 11:15 pedicure appointment. They took me back to my seat and filled the bowl with cold water, after telling them it was too cold three or four times. I know they had taken several non-appointments before me. Finally, after waiting 20 min. with my feet in cold water I got up and left. Six months ago I got artificial nails put on for a special occasion. I asked them if it would ruin my nails and they said no, as long as I come back and have a technician take them off. I did. They are still ruined after six months. read more
