The reason for dropping this down to 2 stars was due to the very negative experience I had with the tailor (Maria of VIP Couture Bridal Alterations) they highly recommended. Going above a recommendation, without asking me they actually pre-coordinated that Maria to come to the bridal shop as I picked up my dress so she could perform the initial fitting there and take it back with her to begin working on it. I had trusted them up to this point, so continued to trust their insistence on working with Maria. Although Maria had 7 weeks, my dress never fit correctly, and the whole thing wasn't completed until the night (10 pm drop off) before I left for my wedding. The delays and uncertainty caused me tremendous stress the week before my wedding, to the point that I was losing sleep and searching for backup dresses. My last fitting lasted over two hours because I had to stay and watch her finish the work. I believe she had taken on too many clients, and unfortunately, I ended up being the one who suffered for it. I do definitely recommend Winnie Bridal as place to search for your dress, but do not recommend using their references for other services. Surprisingly, the gown prices were quite comparable! Don't expect a blue light special, but a special wedding day warrants a gown that says, "This bridal gown becomes you." Here's a tip. There is only one Vera Wang gown, that is actually called The Vera. It is completely unique and crafted with sophistication and beauty. Be sure to order it, well in advance of the wedding! Paulina, and all of her wonderful associates, will make sure that your choice will be absolutely perfect!

The seamstress Garine was kind and helpful, but another employee Zina was so incredibly rude. She came off very kind in the beginning but she is a very hostile woman who made the entire experience a very sad one for me and it's still on my mind. When I went to pick up my dress, she called me and immediately accused me of being "disrespectful" for not doing all my alterations with them--something that was never stated to me as a clear policy. In person, she continued to speak to me harshly and said I wasted their time and what I did was not acceptable. She said it so many times and so aggressively I started to cry, and only then she felt bad for being so ridiculously harsh. I even offered to apologize to her seamstress who she claims I was wasting her time, to which she then told told me "it's not a big deal" To make it worse, I was quoted $50 but charged $75 with no clear explanation. I did not want to further argue so I paid what was asked. I went in to pick up my wedding dress, an experience every girl wants to remember for the rest of their lives and left feeling upset and honestly in tears. No customer should be treated this way. I can't speak to their online portion of the business, with the shipping and try-on-at-home or the selling process, but I can absolutely recommend that if you're looking to buy a wedding dress in SoCal, it's worth it to visit this place in person! It was just me and my mom (someone whose opinion I value but who also trusts that I can make my own decisions), but I think they allow up to four people to come with you. (Choose wisely lol). They also have great tips on their site, and the ones I felt were super helpful were 1- go to a regular bridal salon first to get a feel for the things you like and don't like, 2- size up one or two sizes from what your street clothes normally are, 3- preview their selection online and come prepared if there's something you specifically want to try on. They also send you a questionnaire when you book the appointment asking how you want to feel in your wedding dress on the day of -- which was a really useful question to answer, just for myself lol but I'm sure it helps them pick out some options that might align! Desiree was amazing!! She immediately understood my vision. She was an incredible resource for all of my nerdy material questions, and my questions about the consignment process, what would and wouldn't be possible in alterations, travel tips for transporting the dress, storing the dress, post-ceremony cleaning, etc. It's also bananas how much she knew about the history of some of my dress picks re: the original bride's alterations, off the top of her head! (Or maybe it's written down in their system haha that's probably more likely, but if it was from memory, freakin' kudos!). Apparently, Desiree had worked at the designer of one of my top pick dresses so she also had the lowdown of the business from that perspective as well! I also didn't feel pressured at all, which was so important for me--not just for wedding dress shopping but for all of the choices we've been making for the wedding. It's a small thing, but something I greatly appreciated. The absolute most useful advice Desiree had was about the alterations process and even pricing. She made the caveat that different people would have a range of prices, but for what I was looking for, she would be shocked if I had to pay over X amount. I went to five different alteration places to get quotes, and three of them quoted me pretty much the exact number Desiree had suggested, and two of them tried to upsell me on things I didn't need and charge me three times as much! Obviously, I went with one of the seamstresses that quoted me that starting price, and I was so grateful that Desiree knew her stuff because my people-pleaser self might have just accepted the pricier alterations place without questioning it. I found the gown of my dreams at Loved Twice Bridal, from my top pick designer (Galia Lahav!) at significantly off the retail/custom order price. I received excellent service from an extremely knowledgeable resource. And I made a choice that aligned with my sustainable values. I'm so, so happy with how it all worked out! I just picked it up after alterations (Connie Tao Designs in Pasadena) and I cannot wait to wear this dress on my wedding day! Obviously, my choice of husband is the best choice I've made for my wedding haha, but choosing the dress I did, from this shop - it was a pretty darn good choice for me. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk (Desiree) didn't greet us despite us being the only party to enter. It wasn't until I introduced my name that she then introduced herself. She also made it a point to say "you brought the 'whhhole crew' with you today. Which I was confused about because I had 4 guests which was within the allowed guest count. It was a very uncomfortable encounter. Nonetheless, I brushed it off as I was excited to try on wedding gowns for my November 2025 event. While selecting dresses, I asked Desiree if she could please add one of the gowns to the rack for me to try on. Her response was "but is it actually in your budget?" Woah--did she just Pretty Woman me? When I asked if that was a requirement to try on dresses, she responded no, but since it's a consignment shop they have to be mindful of how many times a dress is worn and they want guests to be intentional about selections. Okay--understandable but set that expectation from the beginning or it sounds extremely judgmental without context. The selection was quite limited as other people mentioned. That said I found a dress with potential and put it on hold. Ultimately I changed my mind about the purchase because I couldn't justify supporting a shop with that type of customer service. I thankfully ended up finding my dream dress elsewhere and ironically it was well over my original budget. But when I tried it on and loved it--I figured it's worth the price. From the glowing reviews I truly hope I'm an anomaly, but I had to share my experience as I hope this behavior from staff can be improved in the future. For many of us, this experience is supposed to be exciting and when we are paying for the experience to try on dresses I think at minimum staff should try to *at least* fake politeness for the one hour we have booked.

Her quote was a bit high for the work that was needed (there wasn't much to be done), but I trusted what all the other reviews said and decided to go with her. She was also very personable during the appointment so I felt comfortable moving forward - she required full payment at the first appointment. My second appointment was supposed to be May 24. She cancelled a couple of days before and said she would reach out to reschedule. When I didn't hear from her, I texted her to see when she would be able to reschedule. She suggested June 20...which was almost a month later than we were supposed to meet. I pushed back and said I would feel comfortable meeting no later than June 7 - I even offered to come on a weekday if that worked better for her. Miraculously, she had June 7 available,. I had a gut feeling before the appointment that no work had been done, and I was correct. At that appointment, she just put me in the dress again and stuck some more pins in there. She assured me that the dress would be done at the next fitting on July 3. When I got there, there were a few things that I wasn't completely happy with, so she said she could fix it there on the spot...she told me that it would take about 30 minutes - so I just walked around Beverly Hills for that time. After about 45 minutes, I came back to the salon, and texted her that I was there (her office is in the back). Well, she came out about 10 minutes later with another bride! In that time when she was "working" on my dress, she met with another bride for her fitting! I was so frustrated and angry, and she could tell. She asked me if I wanted to try it on again...um yes of course I do. Overall she did an okay job for the dress, but I wish I would have gone somewhere else where they were more respectful of time and professional.

I now believe some of those reviews are pressured, because that's exactly what she tried to do to me. Timeline: - Initial phone consult: Quoted ~$850. I chose her partly because the price was competitive. - Dec 20, 2025: First in-person appointment: The quote nearly tripled to over $2,000. When I tried to leave, she made it so difficult to walk out that I felt I had no choice but to agree, and I left my Monique Lhuillier gown in her hands. She provided no contract, receipt, or any documentation that she had my dress. - Two fittings followed, though it was rocky: She cancelled two follow-ups on short notice, and went nearly unreachable for about three weeks (unanswered calls and texts) while holding my designer gown with very little communication and nothing in writing proving she had it. I kept communication positive yet persistent, as I was genuinely afraid I would not get my dress back before my wedding. - Jan 17, 2026: final agreed "pickup date" (about two weeks before my wedding): I walked in knowing I had to leave with my dress in whatever state it was in, because she'd gone MIA and kept canceling and I no longer trusted that I'd get it back at all. She wanted to keep it (she said it still needed two more fittings) but I refused. Despite handing me unfinished, damaged work, she pressured me to write a positive review on the spot before I could leave, physically stood between me and my own dress, and only backed down once someone else on site had to step in to de-escalate. - In the week before the wedding, I was forced into three emergency fittings with a different tailor just to make my dress wearable. To note as well: her "studio" is a small back room with no full-length mirror, nowhere to lay out a full train or veil, and dirty floors. She was late (about 30 minutes) to every single appointment. But the real problem is the work. A second, professional tailor assessed the gown and put her findings in writing: ** QUOTE FROM OTHER RECOMMENDED TAILOR: "This was not a minor oversight; it constituted a significant mishandling of an extremely valuable and intricate garment. The work required to correct these alterations was extensive and time-consuming, transforming what should have been a standard fitting into a complex restoration project. In my many years of experience, this level of improper execution on a designer gown is rare and, frankly, unacceptable."** Specifically, this tailor noted: (1) boning installed so poorly it punctured through the delicate lace and left permanent holes; (2) a hem cut roughly 1.5 inches too short; and (3) three of the gown's six original crinoline layers cut down or REMOVED -- permanently altering the volume and silhouette the designer intended. We had to buy new crinoline directly from Monique Lhuillier factory and worked with their flagship store to restore it and reinstall full layers of my dress to get it to the original/intended design. The damage was not fully fixable. The boning problem is still visible in my wedding photos, forever. So please read the glowing reviews here with skepticism. On pickup day I was pressured to post one on the spot and she truly would not hand over my dress until I did so. I had to bring in the nail salon staff to help de-escalate and have her give me my property back. A review posted here just weeks after I dropped off my dress described the same thing: a bride not getting her gown back until the DAY before her wedding. A friend of mine used her too, and had the same playbook run on her: a phone quote that roughly doubled in person, and an internal corset left so visibly wrong it was noticeable throughout her entire wedding day. I stayed calm and polite through all of it. That doesn't change the facts: I spent the last two weeks before my wedding scrambling and paying a second professional to undo this work, and I was so run down that I was sick on my own wedding weekend. Bottom line: unless you have money to burn, weeks of buffer in your timeline, and no attachment to your gown coming back the way you handed it over, do not trust a valuable dress to this business. I did, and I'm still living with the results in every wedding photo.

Maria fixed the bodice and the straps for a perfect fit. The straps were lace, and you cannot even see a seam.

I've had mixed feelings about Panache overall, but here are the highs and lows of the company. Overall, I think I definitely overpaid for a dress and alterations package that didn't fit right. I purchased two dresses for my wedding (at two different stores), and had two very different experiences. To begin with, I had a healthy dress budget (15k per dress) and enough time to find what I wanted. I went to Panache Beverly Hills first since I work nearby, they didn't allow more than 2 people to join me (so no bridesmaids could come, no champagne). I was disappointed, but the nice part was the store was kept relatively empty for us ... which was lovely. I didn't find what I wanted there, but they recommended going to the one in Costa Mesa because the designer I liked would be there for a trunk show. So I went the next day to Costa Mesa, and the vibe was definitely more crowded. It was fine because I liked the selection, ended up working with the designer I loved for a custom dress, and spent thousands on it. Bought the alterations package (I believe another thousand), and was set for my wedding 10 months later. This is where my experience took a turn. I was never called or contacted for about 9 months. When I would call (both stores), they never found me in the system. Weird when you spend so much at a store, especially since the store I bought the second dress at remembered me at sight and always treated me a little special. I was a "Panache Bride" but was quickly forgotten once the payment went through. No worries, I am an easy going bride and just wanted my dress. The dress was suppose to arrive in December for my March wedding. Called in December, nothing. Called and stopped by in January, nothing. I started to worry, but was told alterations could be quick. Nothing again in February, so I called the designer. Turns out the dress had arrived sometime before but I was never notified and when I called I still wasn't found in the system. They scheduled my first alterations for the end of February. My wedding was March 16, and it was out of the country. Remember, I paid the alterations package when I bought the dress and there was no turning back now. The alterations were done at Beverly Hills, and the person doing them was amazing. The problem: after the first alterations session, the dress still didn't fit right. It was incredibly big when it was delivered, and even after the first round of alterations, it did't fit right on my body. I contacted the designer, because the dress definitely didn't feel custom or couture, and she reassured me that it often takes a couple of alterations before the fit is perfect. Which is fine, except I was running out of time even though I purchased the dress with plenty of time at the beginning to spare. Panache had wasted time with my dress sitting in their stores, they never contacted me and when I called I was told it hadn't arrived yet. So I could only squeeze in one more alteration, and the dress fit well enough. I've been on bride blogs and groups and they all spent MUCH less for similar dresses, and WAY less on alterations for perfect fits. I think I definitely over paid ... and at the end of the day my disappointment is that I went custom so it would fit like a dream. It did not. To this day I think it still needs one more alteration (minimum) for the corset to sit right, because I spent my whole wedding pulling it up and the dress was so heavy it sat awkwardly on me. We have a photoshoot at the end of May for our wedding (we chose not to waste time during our day on pictures), and I called to see if we can do one more alteration. They are charging me again for alterations, even though I purchased the package. I might just scrap the whole dress at this point. read more

If I could give negative stars to this place, I would, because my chest still hurts whenever I drive by this establishment. I am going to try to keep it as short as possible. Panache was one of the first places I had gone to try on wedding dresses. They had a gorgeous exterior, and when I looked at the tag prices, I was shocked as I expected Rodeo drive pricing. Everything SEEMED nice, trustworthy, and the associate helping me was great... at first. Last dress I tried on during my first visit was, quote un-quote, THE ONE. Absolutely had my heart set on it, and my sister felt the same way. The only problem was, my mom was NOT there to see it on me and make a decision, and she truly matters most. So I scheduled a follow up time for that exact dress, so my mother could come in, they could fit me, and I could order it. It all sounded so easy at the time. A few weeks later, I showed up again with my mother and best friend for my appointment. While parking in the back, we had some trouble with a car that was trying to park in the same spot as us in the parking lot (which costs an arm and a leg but really should be free as a service to their customers). We walked in, and I grabbed some decoy dresses to try on for my mom to make it fun while my associate was going to go get "THE ONE" ready for me. Picture this: approximately 20-30 minutes later, I am inbetween showing off my decoy dresses standing on the bridal runway while my mom is sitting right next to the angry people from the parking lot. I am giggling and playing with the train of a dress, and my associate rushes over to me with a shocked look on her face. She says, "I am really sorry to tell you this, but someone just came in and bought the only one of your dress." ....Wait....What?!?! My heart dropped. And whats worse, is that I looked over to the angry people from the parking lot, and they were laughing as I started balling hysterically. I asked her to explain how, and why, and what they can do to fix it. She called over the GM, who really has the power to do anything aboard his ship. They proceeded to explain to me that someone came in and bought the dress while I was in the dressing room, at a discounted rate. DISCOUNTED. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?! And I asked them if they can get another one in for me to try to show my mother, and they said NO. That I would need to buy it if I want it, and if it doesn't work, then I cannot return it. They offered me nothing for my time, my emotions.. and whats more is that they knew I was about to make a 4k purchase with my veil, and they let some other girl walk away with "THE ONE" for less than $1,400 because of their lack of communication. The GM was rude, the associate who helped me was nice but not the brightest crayon in the pack for not setting my dress aside the moment I showed up for my appointment with it. She was almost in tears as well when we realized what had happened. And as for the assholes who were laughing at me crying, they have probably gotten their swift kick of karma by now. Seriously, I can still feel that pain to this day, even though I have a beautiful vintage dress for my wedding at a castle in Sweden... I still think about that dress all the time. I am taking some time to write a review for services from Panache Bridal of Beverly Hills. I had the pleasure of meeting and being assisted by Kristina, my FABULOUS bridal stylist. I had two dresses shipped from a designer in NY (Isabelle Armstrong) to Panache in Beverly Hills, and I had flown in from my home in St. Louis, to OC, and drove to Beverly Hills. Running late and all, Kristina was still more than accommodating. The two dresses were there, ready and waiting and Kristina was ready to hit the ground running. A few members of my bridal party and my mom were all offered bottled water and a front row seat for the big reveal. Kristina worked her magic in that fitting room with every dress that I tried on and was most patient as my bridesmaids offered up their opinions and suggestions on countless occasions. Kristina took it all in stride and acknowledged everyone's thoughts even though she was the one who was the Bridal Stylist. I knew what dress was the one for me as soon as I tried it on, but per my fiance's wishes, we took a break to have lunch and not make decisions in haste...Kristina did not push me to purchase at that instance, nor did she treat me any differently when we decided to have lunch before making a decision. She was the one who actually found numerous lunch options for myself and my bridal party to consider and wrote all of the names down on a card for us. Boy did we need that! She helped to take the stress out of the "saying yes to the dress" process. After lunch we headed back to the salon to have my "she said yes to the dress" moment, and we all celebrated and drank champagne that Kristina poured for us all. The transaction was also as smooth as can be. Kristina spoke with my fiance on the phone and took the payment from him as he was still in Saint Louis (he was not invited!) and then made the arrangement for the remainder of the dress payment. If I had to think of anything to improve the experience or that I would have liked to be different I guess I could say that I would have liked to see 40-50% down on the dress rather than having to put 60% down, but Kristina does not make the payment rules so its not her fault and out of her control.. all in all she was amazing and I was thoroughly impressed! Thank You Kristina for making that day a great one. I can't wait for the dress to be made and delivered so I can come back in!!! Go to Panache Bridal in Beverly Hills, request Kristina. I'm really surprised to see so many bad reviews. I loved this place. This was the first, and LAST, bridal salon I visited, and to be honest, I did not come in expecting to find my dress. But my consultant was so nice and helpful (I am KICKING myself for not remembering her name... when I remember it I will update this review!) and the gowns were so gorgeous and when I found the one that made me tear up, the ladies at Panache made the moment so special. They even brought out champagne for my sisters, mom, and I when I decided on the dress. And they promptly answered all my questions, and did not try to rush us out the door even though my appointment ran a little late and the store had already closed by the time I was ready to purchase. Also, I want to point out that the dresses ABSOLUTELY do not start at $8k. Maybe the ones in the very front of the salon do. But I just bought mine from Panache Beverly Hills and it was under $2k, including tax and an upgraded sash. It seemed like the salon carried dresses ranging between $1k and $20k. Keep in mind that if your budget is $2k or less (mine wasn't, but the dress I happened to fall in love with was), you might have limited options at Panache, but you certainly can find many dresses. And if your budget is at least $3k, you will have a TON of options. I strongly recommend this place too if you are a non-traditional bride because they carry a lot of old Hollywood glamour dresses, off-white/champagne/blush gowns, and modern styles. Of course they carry more traditional gowns too, but I just mention the non-traditional since I know it can be hard to find non-white or non-lace ballgowns sometimes. Editing to add: Chanelle is the name of my consultant! She was so amazing! Ask for her if you can, but all the consultants seemed awesome so it probably doesn't matter much! read more

If i could give ZERO stars, i would. And I would never under any circumstances recommend anyone go to Panache. When I went to pick up the dress, the sales staff was ill-mannered, discourteous, rude, borderline offensive and provided no help... They already had my money so why would they need to pay attention to me now? I am a professional woman and was very dissatisfied with this experience. The last thing a bride needs to deal with weeks before a wedding is to interact with a completely incompetent sales staff, management and owners; AND stress over their wedding gown. Watch out for the owner. He and the sales staff said they would credit my account for my alterations purchase because the alterations lady never touched my dress in the 3 WEEKS I left it there. They even let me come back in for my second fitting without calling me and letting me know the dress STILL hadn't been altered. Complete waste of time, and I never heard an apology the whole time I was there. After the sales staff reassured me the reimbursement for the alterations that never happened was to be credited to my card, the amount was never shown on my statement. After calling the next day and dealing with the OWNERS rude and unprofessional behavior on the phone, he assured me it would be done that afternoon. Four/five days later my account was still not refunded. Had to call back AGAIN and AGAIN. Thanks for wasting my time Panache. Unfortunately, I will never recommend anyone to your store. In fact, I will kindly let them know of your behavior and ask them to stay away. You're welcome. read more

Very poor customer service. Ignoring warnings by best friend who made the mistake of purchasing her gown from Marylinn's at the Pasadena locaton, I still went to Marylinn's, but NOW I've walked out and decided to buy my dress from ANYWHERE BUT THERE. My sister called and made an appointment for me to try on FEW dresses I saw from their website. Over the phone they said they had them in stock, so we booked the appointment. I show up, and they act like they don't even know who I am or if I had an appointment. I felt very uncomfortable right away. They decide to help me anyway, and the first thing I am greeted with is their stressful attitude about how my wedding is so soon and I still don't have a dress. What a way to make me feel even more stressed!!!! So then the consultant is having me try on dresses from the trunk show or whatever, but the dresses were not only on my list, they were not what I liked and of course they are the most expensive dresses at the store.She even told me how to react when I walked out to show the designer! I felt like I couldn't be honest, and it really was a waste of time!!! I ended had to ask her if I can try on the dreses that are on my list here, please, now? They didn't even have 3 out of 5 dresses that I saw online. I was dumb not to listen to my best friend. The staffs were RUDE, FAKE and unprofessional. Pleae don't go there. read more

If you want a positive dress shopping experience please avoid Panache at all cost.. their lack of professionalism and disingenuous personalities (FROM BOTH SALES STAFF AND OWNERS) is the worst I've ever seen. During my appointment he salesperson went around the store with me and told me to pick out whatever dress that caught my attention to better understand what kind of STYLE I was looking for. Then, after letting me try on few dresses from the stack of 10+ dresses, she asked me what my price range was. She immediately took away bunch of dresses saying "Oh, you can't afford this." I'm sorry that my $5k budget is not some six figure but weren't we looking a style first? Besides, why didn't we go over this before we wasted time going around the store picking out dresses? Then the sales person told me after 45 minutes of our session to hurry up because she had a next appointment coming in. OK ... I never knew that I was only allowed an hour in the store. Then, for the next 15 minutes she was intensely focused on trying to sell me something ... anything, that she absolutely failed to see how I looked in a certain dress or hear anything I said. If you are looking for dresses in bev hill, I would highly recommend going to Renee's instead!!!!!!!!!!!! PLUS Renee's has FREE parking. read more

If you can't afford to throw $8,000 in the garbage don't buy a dress here!! That's what happened with us. After paying for the dress and having it delivered 4 months later than they said, it didn't even slightly fit. It was like they had someone else's measurements. We left messages and no one would return our calls. Manya is the manager and completely useless, don't expect ANY help from her. We ended up calling the designer in Israel and explained our experience. The designer offered to make a whole new dress. This one we got 3 months before the wedding and once again it didn't fit at all. We flew to LA and stood in the store in front of the staff and owner and showed them how it didn't fit. The owner said we will try to fix it in the next couple hours and if it doesn't work we will give you your money back. We came back and it didn't fit again and he said "I didn't say I would give you your money back!" We argued, he yelled at us, even with other customers in the store...who walked out after that...The staff had heard him say it but they were too afraid to speak up. We left and went to Monique Ihuillier and paid another $8000 and they rushed the dress and it's was amazing and perfect! Do NOT give the crooks at Panache money!! read more

The worst experience of all the bridal stores terrible service. During the visit, everything was going fine but I wasn´t ready to buy since it was the second store I had visited. After a couple of months I was pretty sure I liked one of the dresses I had seen there but couldnt remember the information. It was so hard to have them tell me the designer/style name. The price, they didn´t want to give at all. How was I suppossed to buy a dress if I didn´t know the price? They said they had everything in their records. So I asked them to check the records as I didn´t want to go all the way there again if the dress was going to be out of my budget. So they said they were going to check them. Then they said they didn´t have any records of my visit to the store. I had to literally send them a picture I had taken during my visits to show them it was true! I thought this was ridiculous (and the only time I encountered this issue). I ended up getting my dress somewhere else where they had the dress I liked and were the service was incredible. read more

I had such a lovely experience at Panache Bridal! I went in just to try on some bridal dresses and get a feel for what I might like when the big day finally comes, and Kristina was absolutely amazing. She was so patient, gentle, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured--just supported and encouraged. She really helped me start to shape my vision for my future wedding look, and I'm so grateful for that. Lynette, one of her co-workers, was also incredibly sweet and encouraging. She complimented me on each dress I tried on and made me feel so confident by pointing out how beautifully each one fit and flattered my body. My daughter, her friend and I have had (are having) the most incredible experiences at Panache. From the minute we walked in we felt comfortable and looked after! Erica quickly realized that the best thing for us would be to have dresses custom made. She called their beautiful in house designer Sahar Fotouhi to discuss our needs. It as immediately obvious that this lady is serious (and of course talented) about the works of art she creates. We have had our second meeting and chosen the most exquisite fabrics - with Sahar's expert and artistic eye helping - for the 3 dreams she is going to bring to life for my daughter's weddings. i was a little surprised by all the negativity going on here. maybe it depends who you get as a consultant. my consultant was autum. she was really sweet and she seemed to know everything about styling brides and the different designers. i actually felt like i was working with an expert as opposed to a salesgirl. plus she was always wearing the cutest heels and clothes every time i went. for some reason that made me feel like she was a true fashionista. even after i bought the gown and came in a couple times for alterations, she was always kind and helpful. i had my alterations with jocelyn (sp?). she did a great job. i had a few changes made: a sweetheart neckline added and some of the train removed. there were no problems and i loved the finished product. jocelyn really listened to me and i got so many compliments on my wedding day! read more

Run away! The Asian male sales man was very nice. I forgot his name. The manager (final decision maker for negotiations) is a complete moron. He disrespected my MOTHER, belittled her and rolled her eyes at her when she asked about the fabric. The woman who was about to pay 10k for my dress!!! My mom is so nice, she wouldn't say anything, but when he rolled his eyes at her that was enough for me. I grabbed my mom's arm and walked straight out the door. Went to Saks to purchase a wedding dress there. Don't waste your money here! Also, i found a lazaro dress identical to the one they sell at panache at another bridal salon in the valley for 400 cheaper. I called lazaro and they said all stores are required to sell the dresses at the same price. PAHHHH!!! Hope they get in trouble. read more

I was just flipping through the hundreds of photos/videos I took at Panache while trying on dresses, and although I still haven't decided on "the one", what has put a huge smile on my face is hearing how excited and energetic Amirah is in ALL of these. The dresses are GORGEOUS-- almost too many to choose from. The place itself was so spacious/stylish and the people who work here are the best. I cannot wait to come back for a second appointment and work with Amirah-- honestly I wish I could just have her with me on all bridal appointments! If I could give them less then a star I would. Panache Bridal turned what was supposed to be an amazing experience - into a huge disappointment with lots of tears and a small claims legal case to get paid back for a damaged dress. Upon realizing the dress they sold me was damaged (beyond repair) they would not refund my money or replace the dress, so I was left w/no choice but to take legal action. I won in small claims court. They are unethical from the top (the owner) down to the sales person who helped me. They are solely out to sell product and have no regard for the brides who are looking for a great dress and experience. read more

I love Panache and all the employees there! I recently found the bridal gown of my dreams (a Lazaro gown) online and NONE of the stores in LA carried it. While some bridal boutiques told me there was no way they could get the dress for me to try on (I wanted to make sure it was "the one") the staff at Panache (particularly a girl named Nareh) did some research for me and found a way to have it shipped to their store so I can try it out and order it if I still like it. They got it shipped within a week, I was very impressed. This place has great service and really nice gowns! read more

This is THE BEST bridal shop in LA. Everyone working here is so kind, helpful, and greets you with the biggest smile. I cannot recommend Nelson enough- he is ONE OF A KIND!!! My mother and I attended this bridal trunk show at The Phoenician in Scottsdale Arizona, expecting…read morethe elegant, high-end experience we had been promised. We were told it would take place in a grand ballroom at a resort we know well and frequently visit for golf. Instead, there was no one to greet us, no visible signage, and even the hotel staff had no idea what trunk show we were referring to. After searching for the correct location, we arrived and waited until more than ten minutes past our scheduled appointment before our point of contact, Adam, finally appeared and said they needed additional time because they were still with another bride. When we were eventually brought inside, the so-called "bridal suite" was a basic conference room filled with dresses. There was only one inexpensive-looking full-length mirror, along with an unstable, worn navy pedestal that did not feel safe or appropriate for trying on luxury wedding gowns. The changing area was a cramped, storage-like room with no mirror and barely enough space for the large dresses or the assistant helping me. It made the fitting unnecessarily awkward and uncomfortable. The gowns were never properly fitted or clamped to my body. At one point, Adam simply held a dress against me while asking what I thought. Even worse, he repeatedly stood directly in front of the only mirror, preventing me from seeing myself in the gowns I was supposedly there to consider purchasing. His attitude was dismissive and insulting throughout the appointment. While looking at me with his hand over his mouth, he said, "I'm not getting anything from you." When I explained that I simply wanted to try on a wedding dress and feel beautiful, he responded, "You're not going to try on a dress and feel tingly." Isn't that exactly why many brides attend a trunk show--to experience the excitement of possibly finding their wedding dress? He also told me that I might need to try on 100 dresses and suggested that perhaps I "wasn't a designer bride." That comment was especially condescending. My mother and I have spent my entire life around high-end interior design, textiles, and luxury materials. We understand quality, and the gowns we were shown did not look or feel consistent with the luxury image being sold. Several appeared worn, poorly maintained, and improperly presented. Adam's overall presentation was also noticeably disheveled and not what I would expect from someone representing a high-end bridal designer. Because bridal fittings require close physical interaction, the noticeable odor of his breath made an already uncomfortable experience even more unpleasant. We arrived excited and genuinely interested in seeing these gowns. We left feeling insulted, uncomfortable, and desperate to get out of the room. My mother sensed almost immediately that something was wrong, and she was correct. What was advertised as a luxury bridal trunk show at The Phoenician became a disorganized and deeply disappointing experience. A bridal appointment should make a woman feel comfortable, celebrated, and beautiful--especially when a company is presenting itself as a luxury designer. This experience accomplished the exact opposite. I would never recommend this designer, these gowns, or an appointment with Adam to another bride.
