Go here first--and last! You will absolutely end up returning after experiencing the mediocre service everywhere else. I started my dress journey with Linet. My mom was in town, and I surprised her with a wedding-dress appointment at Panache--the same boutique I'd tell her about every day on my drive home from work. I would call her and describe the beautiful dresses in the window. I was very green to dress shopping and had no idea what style I wanted. Linet was the perfect guide. She put me in so many different silhouettes and helped me figure out what I loved and what I didn't. After that, I visited shops all over LA and NYC. None of them compared. I didn't feel listened to elsewhere, and several had extremely high-pressure sales tactics. I ran straight back to Panache, knowing I wanted to revisit the dress my mom and I both loved the most. When I returned, I told Linet there was one style I still hadn't tried and just wanted to be sure. She put it on me--and I melted. After two hours of my indecision (and their endless patience), I finally said YES to the dress! I'm so grateful for Linet and her amazing attitude, honesty, and talent. She never pushed the more expensive gown or pressured me at all. She even told me I could sleep on the decision if I wasn't ready. Meanwhile, other shops literally lied to me and said the "last day" to order a dress for my wedding was the next day--which was not true. Heartless. After our home in Altadena burned down we had to cancel our wedding plans to afford our rebuild. I had purchased my dress six weeks before, still new with tags and no alterations. I reached out to see if given the circumstances they would return it and was told to email the owner, which I did multiple times with no response. I stopped into the store several times and was told the owner would contact me, which he never did, even to have the decency to say no. With all the pain and loss this feels unforgivable and certainly not a place for love. If you support fire victims, please Boycott and spread the word. read more

I wish I never walked in to this store for my bridal dress shopping. Most horrible customer service. There was No champagne nor any "I SAID YES TO DRESS" picture as they make it sound like that's complimentary and they give you good service DO NOT TRUST NELSON. He has no idea about anything. No taste, and also is just there to make his money and clock out. He is clueless of what he's selling, don't trust a word coming out of his mouth, he promised me everything will be as I requested and nothing was close to what I ordered and wanted. Unprofessionalism screams in this store. Dress I ordered was completely different than what I received. Took them 10 days to even think what to do to have my dress fixed 2 weeks before my wedding dates. Imagine the stress and panic attacks I've been through right before my wedding. They charged the full amount $18,000 (yes as crazy as it sounds like) of dress without any compensation or apologizing for what they have terribly done wrong. HORRIBLEEEEEE TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE! They left me with no choice 1 day before wedding to pick what it is and go. The dress had an over skirt they couldn't even do a decent job to keep the skirt on the dress. The bottoms were places upside down!!! And after all they did wrong they gift me a crown and veil ! Really ? A crown that i could get it for less than $500 and a veil for less than $200. And trust me it takes lots of patience not to leave a comment here immediately. I tried to email them to get a refund or partial refund, they play games and take about a month to answer each email. If you want to pay for Sahar to be your exclusive designer then it is worth going here. Other than that DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. TL;DR - Horrible service either due to my "budget" or being BIPOC. Fell in the dressing room due to sales person neglect and manager suddenly was concerned of my experience and appointment. This was my first shop I visited on my journey to find my dress. I had only brought my mom along with me and booked the first appointment at 10AM on June 12, 2021. I had specifically chosen Panache as one of my stores to stop by because they had a wide selection of designers (specifically Elie Saab, Naeem Khan, Inbal Dror, Gali Karten, Berta, Eisen Stein, etc.). I was really excited but was honestly - almost instantly let down. We had arrived right on time at 10AM and was sat at some couches. We waited at least 20 minutes before someone greeted us while another party who showed up later was immediately attended too. No water or champagne was offered. Finally, someone came to help us. She was nice (I forgot her name, but she had bright neon red/orange hair - you can see in my pictures) and asked me what I was looking for. I named off a bunch of designers I knew they carried and she did not know any of them/had to find another store member for help. Later on - I found out that was literally her first day and no one had briefed her on anything. My mom and I were pretty disappointed as we came in expecting solid service and help. My mom was able to wrangle another girl to help me and we were provided a bit better service - but still lackluster. They kept pushing me to try on dresses that were not what I had described with style or silhouette. Additionally, the new girl kept pulling dresses that were clearly not my size (which tbh made me feel bad) and kept pushing me to try on dresses that were not what I had described in style, designer, or silhouette I was looking for. Ultimately, I was unable to try on any dress by the designers I had exclusively booked this store for. The cherry on top was when I fell. HARD. I was in between changing dresses and the girl helping me didn't pull up the dress/tulle and i slipped and fell. It was loud and the manager rushed over to reprimand the sales person. This was the only time I felt that any attention was paid to me and my appointment. The manager kept asking if I was ok and insinuated that she did not want to be held liable or sued. I ended up with bruises on my legs for a few weeks. One big thing to note is prior to your appointment, they'll ask you about your budget (I had provided them $4.5k). I did feel to be honest, a large part of our negative experience was due to 2 factors: 1. My "budget" (which I ended up spending more than at another store) 2. I am BIPOC Overall, I would not recommend this store at all - they pick and choose which customers they want to treat well. Thoroughly disappointed is an understatement for this shop. Considering how many different establishments are out there for brides - choose another place. For the service, attention, quality of details, dresses, etc. there are much better establishments out there in LA. I had the complete 180 experience elsewhere and encourage everyone to keep looking!! read more

Ive been apart of 10+ weddings and there for tons of bridal shops and this was by far the worst. From the moment we were standing outside their locked doors, with employees clearly seeing us trying to get in and knocking on the window. She then points to a non existent buzzer.. few more minutes of waiting before they finally come over. They are as warm and welcoming as a tax audit. We asked for Champagne in which they lied and said they don't have a liquor license to give out champagne. Fun fact, you don't need a liquor license to give out champagne..... it's fine not to serve it but if you're going to crush a fading good mood, at least fact check it first. From there we casually walked around with a tea that we brought looking at the gowns until the manager barked at us to set down our drinks. Not asked barked. HE then proceeds to be the one to dress the bride inside the dressing room, bride's clearly uncomfortable having a man in her dressing room, he didn't care... not to mention the dresses she came to try on they didn't even have and every dress he suggested looked like it had been sitting on the shelf at the good will, for awhile... He also gave no insight on the dresses, no compliments or even mild conversation. The most we got was, next dress? The only plus side, was he equally wanted to finish the $100/90 min consolation as quickly as we did (we stayed for 30 minutes) So if you value joy as as a part of your wedding experience, do yourself a favor and skip this place! read more

I took my dress in for my first fitting and I was nervous. As a bride you want the planning and process to be seamless but I have come to realize not so just as life* however, the ladies at Panache every time I have come in have helped me feel I'm Not the only bride who feels as so! If you do not take the time to read this, my only advice would be to RUN FAR AWAY!!! INCASE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SKIP TO THE END, I HAVE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF THE BOTCHED JOB WHICH SHOWS THE CONDITION MY WEDDING DRESS WAS IN DUE TO THE SLOPPY ALTERATIONS THAT WERE COMPLETED BY PANACHE!! I am writing this to follow up on my experience dealing with both The Costa Mesa and Beverly Hills locations of the Panache chain. I worked with Cecy who took care of my first situation back in October of 2018 (my first wedding dress I ordered with panache came in completely damaged) so I was finally given a store credit which Cecy issued to me and (after having an extremely horrible experience at Panache in Costa Mesa where my dress was first shipped (but this is a completely different story!) I ordered Estee Couture's Scarlett wedding gown at the Beverly hills location in November 2018. When my dress arrived about 6 months later at the Beverly hills location, I knew from my first fitting with Diana that something was not right. I could tell she was inexperienced, and when I asked questions she did not have answers. The way she pinned the dress looked wrong and I questioned it. I wanted to have the dress taken in, and also to have minimal alterations done ( replacing the dress straps with a sturdier material, typical bustle, and hem work.) I left the first fitting feeling very uneasy. My second fitting was not good. Diana took the dress in way too much in my ribcage and it made the dress look odd and not flattering at all. I wanted to replace my gown straps or put a material under the tool strap to prevent my skin from getting irritated, which was happening. Diana suggested using regular craft ribbon, (what a joke) which she sewed onto my almost $4,500 wedding gown, which looked hideous. Zahar then took over at this fitting, and proceeded to tell Diana that this was not acceptable. Zahar took over from this point on and I worked with her at my third fitting. I told her that the bodice was too tight, and she told me that the material had already been cut, and that the seamstresses could not longer go back and change it. This was a lie, which I later found out from the seamstress who fixed my dress in NJ. A couple weeks later I got a random call from a seamstress at Panache, telling me that Diana no longer worked for Panache, and that she had my dress, and that she needed to ask me a bunch of questions about what was being done to the dress in terms of alterations because she had "no idea what was to be done to it" (This freaked me out, because I had just had a fitting with Zohar a few weeks prior and we had gone over everything that needed to be done) This staff member was unprofessional and clueless, seemed extremely confused, and when I asked if she spoke to Zohar her response was "Well, she hasn't gotten into the store yet" (Why would she not first check with Zohar to get the instructions, before randomly dialing a customer to stress me out a month before my wedding?!) Turns out this was a "miscommunication" After this I had my fourth fitting which was my last fitting in July 2019. This was with Zohar. I had a bad feeling that it was a rush job, with sloppy construction - because every time i went back for a fitting I noticed things that were sloppy (and this is absolutely not what I expected from a wedding shop in Beverly hills of all places, and after paying almost $5,000 for a wedding gown. I expressed my concerns with Zohar that the dress was too tight, and she told me that material had been cut, and couldn't be modified ( which was a lie. ) Her excuse, and she had no problem telling me this, was that "maybe i gained weight?" I also expressed that i noticed some of the beading was loose and falling off, and she told me that it would be taken care of. (and it was not, which i later found out) I then packed up my dress and took it on the plane with me on July 31st to fly back to New Jersey where my wedding was. I carried the dress on with me when I traveled, and it was safetly stored in the captains closet on the plane. When I landed I tried on the dress, and my mom pointed out to me that the dress was ripped on my side, and also in the back, beading was loose, and also could not get the train to lay right at all. We immediately called Zahar - and facetimed her to let her know the dress was ripped in multiple places, and her response was "Can you sew" (she expected me to sew my wedding gown that was poorly done a day before my wedding) Long story short I had to take my wedding gown to a local seamstress to be fixed two days prior to my wedding which was extremely stressful. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND going to any panache location. They are unorganized and unprofessional, and they want to get you in and out as fast as possible. I still have not heard from them regarding my issue which shows there true colors, and I am left with a terrible experience that caused me so much stress thanks to them. read more
