Then proceeds to charge me $30.00 for it. I asked for a clean up. Now my eye brows are uneven and chipped. It's as if she has never threaded eye brows before. I could have done a better job waxing my own and I suck lol but at least I know basic symmetry . 2 days later I know have scabs underneath both eyes from her cutting me with the threat. This is amateur work and should be free if she is still in practice mode.

She does not rush but is actually very talented and efficient. Not only that, my fills retention can last up to 3 weeks which is unheard of in Miami humidity! After I got them done and wanted to cry because they looked so trashy, Katie asked me if I wanted her to take them off! Right. After having paid almost 300 for these monstrosities, I should have asked for a refund but I had to take a flight so ran out of there. Price is about average, but the product is just awful.

Bia, a nice lady from Brazil, immediately scheduled me for a waxing/sugaring. Gisela, a nice lady from Venezuela, did my waxing/sugaring and left me with smooth and silky skin. I am grateful! I also inquired about the coffee body scrub I saw displayed in the waxing/sugaring room. Gisela kindly explained to me that one should first shower with soap before applying the moisturizing and exfoliating scrub. I am glad she explained that to me since, all these years, I have been using scrub before showering with soap and have been losing the full moisturizing benefits of the scrub. Moreover, Bia, gave me great first time customer discounts on my waxing/sugaring and informed me of a membership program whereby I would pay an initiation fee of $9.99, $45 a month to get a full bikini wax and 10% off of any additional waxing/sugaring services. I found out too that they also offer laser hair removal services as well as hydra facials, microdermabrasion and various natural facial peels. I will definitely be back for more waxing/sugaring services. I came back to have my facial hair waxed. Nicole, a young American girl shaped/tidied my eyebrows and waxed the hair on my upper lip and chin. She carefully and skillfully removed ingrown hairs that could not come out with the wax with assorted tweezers. She recommended that I buy and use a roll-on serum they sell to exfoliate skin and prevent ingrown hairs if used 3 times a week. I did. I just went for the third time to Nature Hair Removal & Skin Care. Gisela gave me a full body wax and I feel like a new woman with smooth and silky skin! Also, following her advice to exfoliate with the coffee body scrub has had great results, I have fewer ingrown hairs, my skin is easier to wax and my skin is also smoother!

I chose a nude color bc I usually get bright red and I needed a change lol. And quickly the lady got started. I chose the $34 service which includes a scrub which I needed. Everything was great, the scrub and foot massage was very relaxing. The only downside was that there isn't a dryer for the toes (kinda odd IMO). When I arrived the tech was ready to take me. She did the pedicure first. The message was great and she didn't over exfoliate. She did cut my pinky toe though. It's been very sensitive since and she filed all my nails diagonally angled, instead of straight across. Also, she put on my flip flops after painting my toes, which is tricky and more likely to ruin the polish. She was lucky I was helping her a lot with putting it on. I even asked her to put them on before painting and she said no. Then on to the manicure. What a nightmare! Earlier that day I had a loose cuticle I pulled off. It was visible, but never bled and didn't hurt. She attacked my cuticles, maybe too much. She made my middle finger bleed badly. At first she tried to hide it, but couldn't much longer, so she started asking me if I bit my cuticle. I told her I pulled it off earlier and she said that's why it's bleeding. She really didn't want to feel responsible for making me bleed...so much. She tried everything. Applying pressure to the finger, dipping her finger in the water then on my bloody finger, then she eventually put my bloody finger back in the water bowl for 10 minutes. It never stopped bleeding, even as she was painting. In fact, the color of the water changed to a red tint. She became upset and frustrated despite the fact I was calm and expected this because she was rough. She was on the phone very often during the services. Told me I don't have a boyfriend because I don't get my nails done often enough. She said I needed new sandals because men immediately look at my toes and shoes. Not to mention this was THE WORST PAINT JOB OF MY LIFE! I mean just awful and rushed. They closed at 7 and she ran out the door at 6:35, with me still at her station in front of the fan. She was so unprofessional. Also, there was a gentleman there (maybe Frankie) who kept talking to me during my services...like constantly. He was nice in the beginning with offering water, but then he wanted to offer me starbursts, ask me to pick a hand which contained starbursts, he asked me my age, and so on. The best part about this place is that is it clean, cute, and well maintained. I saw the technicians and Alexia cleaning and organizing a lot! The worst part about this experience was the cost! I had Jimmy as my nail tech, and he was very efficient with his time and also precise with his painting and detailing. This set (pictured) took about 45 mins from start to finish. I have had dips last for month, this one couldn't even make it to 7 full days. She went on to say the lady who did my job wasn't there and we would have to arrange a time for her to redo them and if I waited for her it would be free since I already paid. First off, why would I want her to do my nails again since she didn't do it right the first time? The only thing good was the nail techs saw how bad and offered to fix them for free. Shouldn't that have been what the owner/manager should have done and not have her techs taking care of the problem? It's a shame. I live down the street and it's the closest nail salon to my apartment. They just lost a loyal customer and I would rather drive to a place in SOBE traffic or walk to a place that can do a dip that lasts.
