My friend requested this nail salon because it's owned by one of the member of The Real Housewives of Miami? Anyways, we had reservations as a group of three for a bachelorette party. We were greeted and that was about it. We weren't really seated together. No drinks offered. Their nail color was also dated and limited. The salon is just old.. felt dirty. My nail person in particular was an older lady and she was horrible. She barely listened to what I wanted and just suggested what she thought was "right". I gave up then. My 10 year old niece does nails better than this place! For starters, I walked in not bleeding. I left with blood all in my cuticle. I made an appointment for a deluxe mani and pedi. When I arrived the tech was ready to take me. She did the pedicure first. The message was great and she didn't over exfoliate. She did cut my pinky toe though. It's been very sensitive since and she filed all my nails diagonally angled, instead of straight across. Also, she put on my flip flops after painting my toes, which is tricky and more likely to ruin the polish. She was lucky I was helping her a lot with putting it on. I even asked her to put them on before painting and she said no. Then on to the manicure. What a nightmare! Earlier that day I had a loose cuticle I pulled off. It was visible, but never bled and didn't hurt. She attacked my cuticles, maybe too much. She made my middle finger bleed badly. At first she tried to hide it, but couldn't much longer, so she started asking me if I bit my cuticle. I told her I pulled it off earlier and she said that's why it's bleeding. She really didn't want to feel responsible for making me bleed...so much. She tried everything. Applying pressure to the finger, dipping her finger in the water then on my bloody finger, then she eventually put my bloody finger back in the water bowl for 10 minutes. It never stopped bleeding, even as she was painting. In fact, the color of the water changed to a red tint. She became upset and frustrated despite the fact I was calm and expected this because she was rough. She was on the phone very often during the services. Told me I don't have a boyfriend because I don't get my nails done often enough. She said I needed new sandals because men immediately look at my toes and shoes. Not to mention this was THE WORST PAINT JOB OF MY LIFE! I mean just awful and rushed. They closed at 7 and she ran out the door at 6:35, with me still at her station in front of the fan. She was so unprofessional. Also, there was a gentleman there (maybe Frankie) who kept talking to me during my services...like constantly. He was nice in the beginning with offering water, but then he wanted to offer me starbursts, ask me to pick a hand which contained starbursts, he asked me my age, and so on. The best part about this place is that is it clean, cute, and well maintained. I saw the technicians and Alexia cleaning and organizing a lot! The worst part about this experience was the cost! I paid $40 for the deluxe mani, $60 for the deluxe pedi, and $18 in tip. $118 to be butchered, bothered, and insulted! read more

I brought my friend here for her birthday and we were both less than thrilled with the services. nothing was added to the water and the vibe was just off. the manicure station i was at could have definitely used some dusting off as well the worst part is Odalys cut 4 of my cuticles, one of which wouldn't stop bleeding for several hours. i was offered a free complimentary manicure but will not be returning so it's useless. if you're a fan of RHOM, please skip going here. the decor is cute but there are so many better places you can go nearby! read more

I don't ever leave reviews, I downloaded the app just to leave this. I got my nails done, they looked AMAZING. Unfortunately they only lasted 4 days until my nails started falling off. Paid 120 for the manicure and 55 for pedicure. Pedicure was great, 3 weeks later still no complaints. I called 6 days after because three of my nails fell off, they told me I had to wait an additional 3 days until the nail tech is in. By that time 7 nails have fallen off. I wish I could give 0 stars for this review. I had a manicure and pedicure appointment on February 2, 2023. My appointment was with Kira Reyes. I was in a hurry on that day because I had dinner plans. I was charged $68 dollars when it's normally $60. I had a broken nail so I thought that might have been the reason for the difference in price. I thought a bit pricey but went on. When I was at dinner only a few hours after my manicure my friend says what happened to your finger? I look and the polish was literally coming off my finger nail. I tried calling the salon to let them know what had happened and I wasn't able to get in touch with them. I made an appointment for Friday February 3, 2023 to fix the nail and the polish. I received a call from Liz who works at the salon and I explained what had happened and that I was going to come in to have it fixed. The traffic was beyond horrible and it took me almost 2 hours to travel 6 miles from Aventura to the salon. Kira supposedly waited for 25 minutes and left. I don't blame her. I kept in touch with Liz as to the traffic updates and she was very kind to tell me to come in and that she would fix my nail. Liz repaired the broken nail and re-polished it. I asked Liz about the $68 dollar charge. she looked it up and said the charge was for callus removal. Liz asked me if Kira had told me about the additional charge, to which I answered No. When I was getting my pedicure she pulled out a foot rasp pedicure file and I said I didn't want to use that. Every time I have gotten a pedicure I have brought my own foot file. Kira proceeded to tell me that wouldn't work and used her tool but never did she say there was an additional charge. Liz explained to me that telling the client was the protocol in their salon. In my case the protocol wasn't followed. On that Friday 2/3/23 I went ahead and made a manicure appointment with Liz for Saturday 2/18/23. On Saturday I arrived for my manicure and I was approached by Kira with an attitude saying I need to have a word with you when Mariana the resection it's arrives, to which I replied that would be fine. When I finished my manicure I proceeded to the desk to pay and Kira came over and started attacking me about what had occurred with my pedicure on February 2, she raised her voice, was very rude, unprofessional and accusatory. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner by an employee of a service provider. I will have you know people were in the salon listening to this and it was very embarrassing. Kira stated I didn't charge you to repair your nail and I don't need your $8 dollars. She obviously did because she charged me. The nail repair that I wasn't charged for that didn't even last a few hours. I was in a hurry because I needed to go to work. She then said don't ever make an appointment with me again. After this incident I would NEVER go to her even if the was the last manicurist on the planet. Kira unfortunately has a very nasty disposition. She also said NOBODY here wants to take care of you. I've never had any issues with any of the other of the lovely ladies that work there i.e. Mariana the receptionist, Maite Sanchez, Pilar Poso, or Marleny Ramirez. All of them have been very nice and extremely professional and so pleasant to deal with. I'm beyond upset and disgusted for Kira to have said this to me. I'm sure if the owner Alexia Echevarria had been present Kira wouldn't have displayed her bullying and disrespectful treatment of me a client of the salon. Kira Reyes' behavior is completely unacceptable. I have pictures that I have attached. I would appreciate a call from Alexia when she is able to do so. This is the second time I have gone here. The girls who work here are very nice but both times I have gone I've had awful experiences. The first time I went was 2 weeks ago and the girl damaged my nail beds because in a regular manicure she was scraping so hard. The second time the mani and pedi themselves were fine but the polish job was awful. I had to go home and repaint them. It's a shame because the place Is really nice and close to home but it's too expensive to be so bad. read more

I had the most wonderful time at Alexia + Frankie's Beauty Bar with the incredible Maite! I will recommend her to EVERYONE! She is definitely the best manicurist + pedicurist I have ever encountered and I have had a lot of mani/pedi's in my lifetime. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she is efficient, thorough, and courteous. I didn't know what color I wanted so Maite allowed me to pick a few out to see how they transferred to my nails, giving her expert opinion when asked. I then showed her a picture of a unique design that I wanted on my nails and she did it so beautifully!!! I left the salon feeling so happy with the finished product and very proud to show them off to everyone. My appointment lasted a little under two hours and I was so well taken care of during my time there that I didn't mind spending the amount that I did -- a little pricey than other salons but well worth the money in my opinion! The salon was clean and the staff was polite and accommodating considering how busy they were. This was such a great experience and I hope to have many more! read more

I had a terrible experience at this business. The lady giving me a pedicure damaged my nail using an electric nail file/grinder to remove my gel nail polish. She was so busy gossiping about the owner and her reality TV show that she grinded a hole in the center of my nail. When I called her out on what she did, she blamed my toenails for being too thin. She then told me that she was going to use an acrylic powder to fix what she did. Then the acrylic cracked and further ruined my nail. read more

If it were possible to give a less than one star rating I would. I booked an appt with a specific person only to arrive and be told that she was busy and someone else would take care of me. And take care of me she did Destroyed and broken nails and the worst mani/pedi of my entire life for $150 yes $150 which is double what the very competent nail salons nearby charge. When I asked to have one of the nails she broke fixed the tech pretended not to speak English. The front desk attendant came over and told me "my service time was finished" and I would need to "come back when they were not busy". I asked to have a manager call me and of course that has not happened. When I told the front desk nightmare that I would be posting a review she said it was a "threat". Checked yelp for salons close by, the first one I ran into didn't have any availability, so I visited this place as it was the next closest option. They were able to take me immediately as a walkin on a Saturday afternoon. My tech, Noella, took her time and paid attention to every detail. Good, light conversation. It's a relaxing environment and the staff doesn't talk between each other unless necessary. The place looks clean and it was all in all a pleasant experience. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any salon. Both times I've tried going there I called to make an appointment ahead of time, and arrived on time for both as anyone would to any appointment they make. My first experience there - I showed up exactly at my appointment time, and I sat and waited 30 minutes until someone was available to do my polish change. Then I decided to give them a second chance today, thinking maybe that was just an off day. It definitely wasn't. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment for a manicure and a pedicure at 6:00pm. I got there at 5:58pm and they said it's going to be 15 minutes. I begin waiting and ten minutes later I asked who will be taking me today. They responded a lady who's in the back. I go ok, thinking why do I even waste my time making an appointment at this place. 5 minutes later the receptionist comes over to tell me, she actually has another hair appointment next, and the other lady who could take me next still has to do someone else's manicure. I assured her I'll never be coming back. Don't even bother making an appointment at this salon. It's a waste of your time. Too bad it's run so poorly. read more

Sadly I have to write this review. Location is great. The nail salon is equidistant. The staff receptionist is a gem. But the quality work if I could rate zero stars I would. Stay away although my nails looked fabulous upon leaving and my nail tech was a sweetheart I really debated on writing this review. I'm sure they get a lot of guests who are traveling in and out and I want to save you from a headache. I paid $80 for a full set. The saying goes you get what you paid for but this definitely wasn't the case. What I got is my nails the entire nail popping off after 2 days. I returned to have my nails done. They had the lady who did my nails fix them the way she fixed them were terrible. The shape was different and the length measuring my right and left thumb and middle finger were different. Who doesn't take the time to do that? She knew I was returning home that day and didn't say much while she was fixing them for me I could tell she was embarrassed about her poor craftsmanship. It gets worse as I return home the rest of my nails continue to pop off. Yes pop off who's nails entire nails just easily fall off? Makes zero sense and no I was on vacation and I wasn't washing dishes or in a hot tub. By the one week mark 6 nails had fallen off. I can't with this place please stay away. I paid good money for a crappy craftsmanship. Stay away!! You might get stuck with same nail tech they sent me to this is why I fear bad nail techs. The lady who did my nails had been there for 6 years and I might just be the first traveler who spoke up. I didn't get the pedicure from here but I did get it from place down street. No wonder they had so many people available when I showed up and people sitting around. The nail shop down street I found first but they couldn't do my nails only pedicure. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to my nails. I like a deep & detail nail cleaning, spot on paint & a sanitary environment. I came in as a walk in & was immediately greeted & welcomed. I was seated in a pedi chair with 5 minutes of my arrival. I was blessed with having Maileny as my nail technician. She took her time & did an amazing job.
