Nailism is truly a gem and hands down the best nail salon I have ever stumbled upon!!! I would consider myself a nail snob as I am EXTREMELY particular. When I first moved to Atlanta 2 years ago I would drive up to an 1.5 hr. in search of a nail salon that met my high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, kindness and talent. During that time and over 15 salons later, I would have wait to fly home to South Florida to get my nails done because I never found a nail salon that was worth getting my repeat business. That was until the skies opened up and I met Mary ( the owner) at Nailsim. Her and the staff are amazing! I personally make appointments with Mary and Judy but I have had services done by everyone and I never leave disappointed. Below I am going to list why I love Nailism and why I don't go to anywhere else. 1. Nailism cares!!! They honestly want to give you the best experience while you are there and that you leave and come back happy. You honestly can't talk to Mary with out feeling how much she pours her heart and soul into the salon and every single customer that walks through the front door. I know from first hand experience and on several different occasions that she personally went well above and beyond to make a customer satisfied. Whether it was getting the right nail color to match their toes or picking up cuticle oil for a clients distressed hands. 2. Excellent communication! They are the best at communicating and being professional. If you leave unhappy that's your own fault. Which is hard to say for most other places. 3. They take their time! I have never ever felt rushed. Nailism is about quality and quality takes time. Although they allow walk-ins, making an appointment is best. Then they can make sure they have enough staff to take the very best care of you. 3. Cleanliness! This place sparkles it is so clean!!! Mary follows all of the latest hygiene codes, laws and goes beyond keeping the salonclean and safe for every single customer. Quality care and sanitation is Nailism's top priority. 4. They have talent! They are fantastic at staying on top of all the nail trends. Judy is excellent at recreating any Pinterest picture I bring in. Mary has a real eye for color and a nail shape that best compliments your hand. Seriously, where else can you get that? Only at Nailsim! Also, my gel manicure is done so well that it can and has lasted more than 3.5 weeks. 5. Oh and on their menu they have what is called the O-M-G pedicure and manicure. TO DIE FOR!!!!!! Expect to be at the salon for quite a few hours and definitely make an appointment because you are going to get pampered beyond belief. Your feet and hands will be transformed! And at least once during the service you will say O-M-G. It is that good. 6. Excellent pricing for such top quality service & a frequent customer appreciation card. You can't go wrong here. Very friendly staff. My sister is a regular and brought me here for the first time. They did a very nice job on me and my sister's mani pedi. It did not feel rushed and they made us feel welcomed the whole time we were there. We felt stress-free after getting them done. The prices are reasonable as well. I came in on a Friday afternoon there was no one in site (I should have left them) I stood there for a few minutes and finally they appeared. They did not have the color I wanted (hot pink). I just needed a fill. I'm not to happy with the work that was done I dislike the shape and a few nails are crooked. I asked him to fix it, he said it was ok. I went with gel polish and he was running out of the clear top coat and blamed it on my nails being too long. They are not shiny and he tried to cover it up by putting a lot of oil on that I had to wash off. My fingertips have glue all over them. Also he stopped working on my nail 4-5 times to take personal calls. It took over 2 hours for less than mediocre work. I will not be back. read more

By far the worst salon ever. Asked for pink and white and to have nails trimmed down and he chopped my pinky nail down to the bed. After telling him it was too short and that I'd give him the opportunity to soak off and put a new set on, (and that id pay for it), he told me it wasn't too short and said he just file. FINALLY!! It takes so long to find a good nail place to call home - am I right or am I right? I actually thought this place was new since it was so clean and bright in the salon but they have been open since 2012. I've been twice now with two different technicians and both were awesome experiences. Each time I got a pedicure and gel manicure. I tend to go every 2 weeks for gel manicures but the first one was so well done, I definitely could've waited a few more days. The first time I had Lee for both manicure and pedicure, the second time I had Lee for the pedicure and Pretty (yes, that is her name!) for the manicure. I've never had Mary but I've heard she is awesome as well and have seen a design she has done. I told them that I have thin nails so to go easy on the buff/file and they did - imagine that, they actually do what you ask with a smile! In two weeks, I'll go visit my "home"! read more

I think they do a great job, and I like that they offer you a drink. They also have a great selection of Essie and OPI colors. I stopped going to my other place and started coming here regularly. If your polish is chipping within days, maybe you should put on some gloves when you're doing the dishes because they do a great job. They also have a frequent flyer reward card that's an incentive to come back. They're clean, friendly, and they do a good job. read more

A hidden gem. This place is tucked in a shopping plaza beside Pike nursery. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I was greeted immediately and felt very welcome. Mary did my gel manicure and Pretty did my pedicure. I felt very relaxed as the massage chair massaged my back and they massaged my arms and legs. Worst experience ever! I went there in full expectations of being pampered to celebrate my birthday. Instead I left bleeding on multiple fingers! The first girl who started my nails spoke broken English and seemed to be very confused and in a hurry. She completely butchered my cuticles. My pedicure was mediocre at best. I was not given an option of a type of pedicure, didn't even know they offered different ones until later. I had to request the girl to please scrub my heels again after my pedicure was finished because they were still rough. I was charged full price without even a hesitation. My nails look horrible and I'm having to wait for them to heal before going to have them fixed. Needless to say I will never go back. L read more

I used to really love this place and was loyal to a fault. Best mani pedi in the Johns Creek area and the owner is so nice. However, the past few months, this place has gone severely downhill. My gel manicures began peeling in the first 2-3 days and management never took ownership for it. This happened multiple times. They even had the audacity to charge me $10 to remove my gel mani when I came back to show them their terrible work. Never going back again. read more
