I've gone here twice. The first time wasn't as good but until I found Kayla! It totally changed my experience! She is absolutely fabulous. She is very kind and loves talking during the process. She always gives her recommendations on your set. I love how this place isn't always packed but I know I will get a great job done here. For me I usually get an acrylic set which is around $45. It is honestly worth it because my set stays in for about 4-5 weeks. This is the only nail salon where I keep my acrylic set on for so long because I love the great and clean work done! Horrible! They're lucky I gave them one star. I paid $100 (my total was $95) for a BASIC pedicure with gel, and acrylic overlay with one cheap layer of gel and every single one of my nails have already chipped. They chipped after 5 days! The gel is peeling off and I have to get them redone next week because I can't stand to look at the ugliness. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I was able to get a full set on a Friday with a walk in appointment. The girl who worked on my nails was really good! I had an idea of what I wanted on she gave me a few ideas on colors that would work well. The appointment was about an hour long. I'll be making this place my regular spot. Everyone working was nice and polite. The picture is showing my nails about 2 weeks after getting them done so that explains the growth but I love the shape and they stayed on well. Absolutely horrible experience. All I wanted was a fine white line on the tips of the nails but got a lazy non talented worker; painting my nails half white and half pink. I have two nails that were put on incorrectly (very lopsided) one nail already came off (not even one day has past) the lady was very rude; this establishment is very unprofessional. Not from here and needed a nail appointment on the fly. My old dip nails were growing out and they were at that point where they don't look nice anymore. Made an appointment for a manicure at 11:30 but the owner was going back and forth between 11:30 and 11:40a. Got there 5 minutes early and waited until 12:15p for my appointment to start; owner said she'll be with you in a little bit. No time estimate or apology for waiting for so long. My nail tech was Yesenia. She was bubbly & nice, but I'm so used to my fast & efficient nail tech in Sacramento. Also, I didn't like being juggled between another customer. My nail salon never does this; and multitasking is a waste of time. I asked for short round nails and the shape was awkward. I noticed she had long square acrylic nails and I had a feeling she only knows how to do square shapes. Eventually I ask her to just do square because it didn't look round and I was getting black nails for a funeral the next day and black tends to show mistakes easier than any other color. The shape was better than before, but still wasn't the best. I'm grateful that she didn't get any bubbles in my nails, but I probably won't be coming here again or ask for a different nail tech. Sadly I was very disappointed. I showed my technician a picture of the nails I wanted and respectfully asked her if she could be honest with me if she really thought she can do the Shape and design. She said she didn't think so . I then asked her to show me her previous work so I could possibly pick a design she has done or could do for me. Nothing caught my eye and neither the shape. This salon is bomb.com ! I took my little sister here for a full set and Kayla did a phenomenal job on her nails! She took her sweet time and it shows ! The salon is clean and comfortable and prices are reasonable! You pay for what you get so your money won't be wasted here for sure. Kayla's nails were bomb too and she said Lottie does her nails so if you want a recommendation I definitely recommend Kayla or Lottie. Word of advice MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! First time here. My daughter and I got squeezed in for 2 manicures. Hers came out looking great. Someone else did mine and it's literally the worst gel manicure I've ever had. Pretty sure the tools were used and not cleaned. The person was not gentle on my nails at all and it hurt more than it should have. The gel coating didn't even get the sides of my nails and some areas are thicker than others. I am NOT happy I paid $30 for these. I seriously can't believe this place has so many positive reviews. I came here with my mom for pedicures--never again. First of all, it looked terrible. My toenails weren't the same shape or length, and second, the gel (which of course I paid extra for) was peeling within 3 days! Definitely do not recommend! read more

I came in today to get a fill and a pedicure. I called a day ahead and got an appointment no problem, my schedule was very open, if you have a tight schedule I would call a few days before! Anyways Phillip, I believe, did my pedicure and was very kind and funny! He did an amazing job and really took his time. I then had Kayla do my fill, I went from solid acrylics to pink and white. She hand painted the pink and white and really took her time to make sure everything was perfect and that I liked it all. Everyone was super kind and I will definitely be back again in a few weeks :) read more

I was really disappointed at the fact that the acrylic nail set didn't last a full day because a nail had broken. Went in two days after to get it fixed and it's still holding on but 2 more nails have broken & 1 is cracked because of how thin the acrylic was set. I would have went back in to get them fixes but if more nails keep on breaking or cracking then there's no point in going back. The people working there were very nice though, I'm just sad because i really liked the color of my nails. The nails broke off from the acrylic to the actual extension & are slowly chipping away. read more

I was visiting my brother in Turlock, had some downtime so decided to get a manicure. Making an appt was super easy, as soon as I walked in Liz was welcoming, she immediately asked me what I wanted done. Did an amazing job on my manicure, I loved how she made sure the sides of my nails were painted because most manicurist don't even brother to go over it and makes my nails look unfinished, when they don't. Overall, she did a great job. I would not hesitate to return and would recommend them to anyone visiting Turlock. I got seated pretty quickly, so the wait was not an issue. I don't think they use new files and buffers, they just use used ones. They don't take ATM or Credit so you have to use their ATM machine in there that charges a .75¢ fee. For $28 dollars, my gel manicure was definitely not worth it. The gel is all over my cuticles, she didn't clean around it well. The top coat was kind of just stacked on there. & my cuticles still have so much dry skin attached. read more

It took forever and once the lady started to do my nails, she didn't do the design I wanted. I had to change up the whole thing. So she did a different design and left so much extra shellac on my skin. They lady did not speak English either, VERY hard to communicate. Would go back if I had a different lady. I began my day with a two hour nap, getting my eyelashes done. Great job Davana (savana w/ a D, she says!) Bring your earbuds and relaxing music to help you relax and take a nap because it's easier for all involved. Now I'm having a very nice pedicure, given by Davana again! She pays attention to detail, which is a very nice quality for someone doing my toes. The girls here speak very good English and are very personable! I have been getting my nails done for 7 years now and for the first time in those 7 years I found someone who does my nails EXACTLY how I want them and like them! The staff is extremely friendly and polite! I was really happy with the work that was done and the service that was provided. Paula is truly amazing at doing your nails as you like them, she's very gentle and makes sure they look perfect. Paula works at a good pace and makes sure you're satisfied with how your nails look before letting you walk out. They had some great reviews and not so good, and I was badly in need for a fill. I called they said I could come now. They sat me right away,after her working on me a see a sign saying no credit cards even though yelp said they did. I could tell my girl was very young. After talking I found out she was a cosmologist, not nails. So after her working for 2 hours I was in a hurry, they looked ok. But after closer inspection they weren't. Within a week they lifted pealed and turn yellow. Never again. Now I go to what used to be KT nails on Geer I think new name is Organic nail. Love love this place I have been going since they opened. Sadly, this is my first negative review! I really wanted to love this place so I tried giving a 2nd chance, but the attempt at service recovery was unsuccessful. I had a decent pedi here so decided to try a mani. Made an apt for dip powder... drove 25min & was told the dip nail tech wasn't in. Waited 20min for another tech (which was NBD), he was asking coworkers how to do it & performing steps incorrectly... Although when I asked prior if he was experienced w/ dip he said, "Yes & idk how you usually get it, but this is how we do it here." The finished product was lumpy but tolerable, so I was understanding & w/o complaint paid $50 + $10 tip. 2 days later the top coat began peeling off & 1 nail cracked in half. I called back & the female manager was very nice, apologetic & kindly offered to fix them which made me hopeful. I traveled back only to have another lady rush placing a top coat over the already peeling gel (I asked to file it off & she assured it was fine), she then said she was not trained in dip so the manager will fix the 1 broken nail. The woman in charge told her they were closing early & she was busy w/ a client (would've taken 5min) & for her to figure it out. She was sweet & tried her best in an unfair situation, but after 3 attempts I once again ended up w/ an experimental set of clumpy nails not cured properly... this time the top coat peeled w/in 30min. I would've appreciated empathy & understanding of customers valued time & money. Frustrating to go out of your way to get your nails fixed, after a 12hr ER shift, just for them to make the same mistake. I would've been open to reschedule to receive the appropriate service. Unfortunately idt I'll be returning... nice salon & staff, but can't trust being provided honest service! Hoping everyone else has a better experience here! read more

This is a bad nail salon. Rude workers, always in a rush to do your nails. By the time the nail tech was done with My nails they looked like they grew out. I came back with an appointment to get them fix and the nail techs were rude an were running late and did not advise me they were running behind. When i asked if they were running late the nail tech were talking in a different language and looked at me rude and said they would be only 20 minutes. This has always been my go to place in turlock for my nails. I always get acrylic stilettos and a pretty design. I get my nails pretty short, but when I went in I was told I needed to do them long or they'll look weird. She did my nails way longer than I wanted, but I wasn't going to argue. She did a beautiful design and a wonderful job, but two days later my nail snapped right off. Hurt like hell too. I'm upset because I got my nails done for an even this Friday night and now it looks all weird. Not only that but I KNOW you can get short stilettos because that's all I've ever had, and that's all over their Instagram. Short stilettos.
