This store is always clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly but it seems like both times i have visited this store (for my bff's bachelorette party) there was a customer being sexually aggressive with the people that work there. First off, the employees are friendly AND knowledgeable. Immediately greeted when I've arrived each time. The selection is large. The employees are incredibly welcoming, with no judgment zone. Helped me find the right gifts and sign up for deals/alerts. I felt the prices were on par, for in person shopping. The store is good-sized, so you don't feel cramped or feel like it's seedy. I wish I could move the store to the state we are moving to. Instead, I'll just make sure I stop in the 2x a year we will be returning to the area. The employee who helped me tonight was so helpful, thoughtful, and genuine. Best experience I've ever had at a lover's. They took their time and asked the right questions. Strayed me away from things that weren't right for me that i was about to buy out of lack of knowledge, and steered me a better direction. I really felt comfortable and less intimidated on the "new" things I was shopping for. They also asked my pronouns which was really awesome to feel so respected. I wish I got their name. But, management, 9ish pm on 1/7...that employee changed my entire mentality on adult shops and put me a notch higher on accepting myself. I'm newly out and a lot of things being so new to me, it can be very anxiety inducing. I can't praise them enough for their help. My boyfriend and I went shopping here which we do pretty regularly and have spent hundreds of dollars at this location alone. Tonight we went in there and as soon as we walked in we were being stared at weird. My boyfriend and I are pretty young so this isn't unusual for us. The unusual part and the part that makes me not want to shop here ever again is when we tried to ask the worker a question, she got annoyed with us for asking and talked to us like we were stupid. She stomped over to us breathing heavily and raised her voice while talking at a slow pace to us not really even answering our question and then proceeded to ask "if that made enough sense for us" and if "we got that" in a very sassy and rude way. I have never met anyone so rude and immature in my entire life. This sucks because we go shopping here almost weekly if not every other week but now I'm going to start taking my business elsewhere. We put the items we were originally going to buy back on the shelves and walked out. This was completely unacceptable and I won't be returning. Please train your workers to be more accepting of people and to not belittle them and call them stupid. Went in recently (11/4) to pick up some condoms. The lady working that day made me VERY uncomfortable. She followed me around the store, and then insisted on bringing the items I was shopping for up to the register before I was finished looking around "because it takes a while to ring up." I didn't buy this reasoning, as I have been to this location multiple times, and the transaction for the exact items I was buying that day has always been quick. I had a pretty good idea of what was really going on, but I won't make accusations. I like the store. I feel comfortable shopping in it. Here's why I have to say "okay" and no higher. The last time I went here, we were shopping for a bachelorette party and the pickings were slim. Note: do not try shopping at the end of summer at a store. It's the end of the busy wedding season and choices are low. I'd suggest "online" or "shop ahead." The first time I went here, I was shopping for fun and purchased a few things. I went out to my car and as I pulled out of my parking space, the person in the vehicle next to me motioned me to roll down my window...I'm thinking, I have a tail light out or something, but he asked if I was married...complimented me...and gave me his card. Ewwww. There is a popular drive thru burger place in the same parking lot as Lovers...and he had been eating...as a lot of people do, sitting in the lot watching the world outside their vehicle window. So, I suggest, if you shop here alone, that you park on the right side of the store which is away from the burger joint. I'm just saying. I didn't get home with all of my purchases. I discovered this when I got home, called the store. When I got to the store a week later, they couldn't find what I had left, but allowed me to replace it with something from their store, on the honor system. That was honorable! read more

I came here for an emergency shopping. My girlfriend is getting married. I went shopping here just right before her bachelorette party last Saturday. They have a lot of selections of underwear both single or set. I walked in and saw this set and immediately thought, "this is what I am getting for her," The staff helped me to find the right size I thought it should be and issued me gift receipts just in case. She set me up on their points system since it had been a couple years and they changed their rewards card and answered my multitude of questions about a couple products. One star is knocked off because of the see-through windows looking in on the joint!!!!!! I can't imagine how most clients can feel comfortable browsing through such intimate items when the whole world can see! Especially since its located right behind a burger joint, I don't think it's very appropriate. Another star is knocked off because of the huge amount of space and variety of items. We get to the store and there is a sign on the door that says be back in 5 min and the other door said be back in 10 min. There was no "will be back at such and such time." Our anniversary is coming up so I went to the store 2 days ago for lingerie and general browsing. I felt like I was being followed in the store and everytime I picked something up they would ask if they could hold it at the front. Maybe it was just being friendly but since it was just panties it was annoying. They gave me the wrong item at check out. ( because more than one girl helped me) and I didn't catch it till I got home. While running errands with my 2 year old I stopped by to make the return and they kicked me out of the store. Even after I explained I just needed an exchange. I understand the no kid policy but I had been to another location and they just said " you have to hold him the whole time". I would normally never take my kid here. But knowing that lingerie is separate from the other area I don't really see a big deal. Some of the stuff is cute but none of it is really quality. Their return policy is stated on a standard sheet of paper, placed to the side of the counter that you wouldn't even be facing when checking out, with non-attention grabbing white font that is hard to read, and is non-descriptive in the least. Plus, their receipt doesn't even include any details besides " no cash refunds, " and "personal products non-refundable. " Hmmm, what is and what isn't a personal product in such a "personal" store???
