I have the best clothing and shoes and jewelry and I got some perfume too, but most of all I love the fact that they're absolutely clean organized and I can find the things that I want and need right away. I've shopped here on and off over the last 20 years since I've lived in the area. Everybody says go to Nordstrom rack. Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job. This store is a joy to shop in. Not sure if it was because it was still early in the day when I went about half hour after it opened on a weekday. Everything was well organized and neatly laid out. It was well stocked with no empty or messy shelves. The line to pay was long but it moved fast. It was a very pleasant experience over all. I'll come here again to shop. The store is clean and well organized. There is a large selection of shoes and lots of options in each size. I like the kids section, too. There are a lot of clothes and also some toys and accessories. I do have a problem with their plus size selection. They move it each time I go in so it's hard to find. Also, it started with about a half dozen racks 10 years ago. The last time I went in they had 2 small racks. It's a tiny portion of their store, which has lots and lots of straight sizes. There is such a small selection that sometimes they don't even have pants in my size in the entire store. It's extremely frustrating that they aren't offering an equal amount of clothes for all sizes. The line can get really long and go pretty slow. I've been in line for 20 or more minutes multiple times. I think a lot of the clothes have a very good value. The shoes aren't as great of a value. The home section's value is also pretty good. The Nordstrom Rack in Lynnwood has been one of the retailers I go to when looking for various medium formal to formal attire. This has included attire for things like a leadership conference, miscellaneous business clothes, and a dress for a school dance. The parking lot is large and shared and the store itself is also larger with a variety of offerings. The only drawback to the breadth in offerings is not so much depth in some of the apparel sections (such as floor length gowns). Prices have been excellent and workers helpful in my experience. read more

2 days before Christmas I went in to grab some cologne as a last minute gift. It was locked in a case with the men's cologne so the CS person grabbed it for me and then took it behind the counter. It was then put in a bag upon checkout, which again is fine but I never actually got to look at the product. Upon getting home I realized they had sold me women's perfume. The same name, similar box but the women's version. Okay no big deal I thought, I'll just exchange it. WRONG! Even though it is unopened, with the original tags on it and I have a receipt they wouldn't let me even exchange it. So because their store is a mess, and one of their employees put the box in the wrong place I am now stuck with an item I can't use. The manager was not helpful when I emailed, simply recited a final sale policy not listed anywhere on the box or receipt. An absolutely BS policy with no recourse for an honest mistake. read more

I hate coming to this store as their customer service is severely lacking. I have never been greeted and worse, they treat you as though you have a disease if you have a return. I sometimes just keep things instead of going through the hassle of returns. This morning I did venture out with a return and got there a minute after opening, I figured if I got there early enough, the line wouldn't be so long and the cashiers wouldn't be as snippy or slow. Boy, I was wrong. There was a customer arguing with the cashier because she did not have a receipt, there was a gentleman in front of me,and the line behind me was getting long. I saw employees walking around but nobody acknowledged us or the line. Finally another cashier came up (young and Asian) and gestures for me to come up. No words were exchanged as she took my return. I thanked her, but she never acknowledged me. Again, this is the usual store behavior. read more

This is the Rack where I've shopped for most of my adult life. I find that most Rack stores are similar. This one is a little better organized than the one south of the city, and it's bigger than the one in Totem Lake. It has the brands typically carried by the Rack, and the cosmetic, hair- and skin-care offerings are pretty consistent. read more

Recently changed their return policy to 30 days. It is posted on the back of the receipt but otherwise no notice, so for those of us that have been shopping there for a long time we would have no idea of the policy change. In addition to that even if the items are unworn with tags and receipt they will not exchange for store credit either. The reason I give this rating and review is because they've always had a very generous return policy and to change it to 45 days, and then 30, and then not even do exchanges for store credit seriously takes away part of what made Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack a great place to shop. Things at the rack are often sewn a little wonky or have some issue and that's why they end up at the rack so to change their return policy so drastically definitely inhibits my desire to shop there. read more

I had a bad experience involving a young gentleman working at the Returns counter. I was just making an online return. From the way he handled the item, I already got a weird vibe from this kid. Maybe he was having a bad day? Maybe it was the teenage angst? Maybe he was hangry? Whatever it was, I thought "ok, just one item to return and I'm out of your hair." It got weirder when I placed my credit card into the reader. The reader didn't beep, so I did a double take to make sure I didn't remove it too soon. Then the kid reached to yank my credit card out of the reader himself and abruptly place it on the counter. Um... wow. Listen, I understand the pandemic isn't over yet. Everyone is going through something, but it doesn't justify having a bad attitude when working in customer service. The irony. I don't expect VIP treatment, but the bare minimum should be respect. I didn't go to the Soup Nazi, I went to Nordstrom Rack. If I had a kid that acted like that, I would be embarrassed. read more

What has happened to human decency? The customer service at this location in Lynnwood, Washington is inconsiderate of their customers. My friend who happens to be blind was returning a dress that we bought together in California. She asked for a larger size at the customer service window and they flat out refused to help her. She asked them to make an exception due to her physical challenge, and explained to them that it is difficult for her to order online. They flat out refused and said "No, they couldn't do that", she will need to go on line and help herself and yes they realized she was blind. There was no one else in line and the store was not busy at the time. They not only lost a sale, they lost a customer who loves to shop! read more

The one and only in Lynnwood. It is super busy here all the time. In order to find great finds, you'll need time, patience and, make sure you've eaten. I can't ever come out of this place empty handed--squirrels everywhere! I lose my focus often and the reason why I came in in the first place! Anyway, too many of everything and I can't imagine a shop-a-holic gets. I'm into Zella active wear lately because they are so comfortable next to my skin and the prices are wonderful! I go in circles looking for great prices and am always very successful. And what about the staff!? Always a nice experience because they let me know what kind of plus discounts I can achieve. Is it their job to offer extra ? I dunno but I keep coming back. I'm always down with the plus-side. Aren't we all? Downside? We'll, it is organized as it's going to be and because people touch everything! It does make feel somewhat overwhelmed. Thank goodness I know when to quit. Great location with easy to find parking. If you're lazy like me you'll appreciate the quick walk from your car to the entrance here. The team in green offer a quick checkout, and sales associates can always be found here, unlike in some locations where you can walk up and down the rows of clothes before you come across a salesperson. Once a month or so there is a clear the rack event wherein all clearance merchandise is an additional 25% off - there are great deals to be found during this time but don't expect room to push your cart around - this place gets packed to the gills! The best time to shop here is on a weekday afternoon, or basically Monday through Thursday 11am-5pm. read more

I love Nordstrom and I love The Rack more since it's the same difference, just with marked down prices and doesn't involve wading through the mall crowds. This is down the road from the Alderwood Mall and easy to find. Parking is usually crammed full but you can park around the corner or across the street if needed. The shoes are usually a mess. Checkout lines move fast. There are way, way, way more women's and kids clothes here than men's. The purses and bath care sections are great. read more

I have noticed a decline in this store the last few years. Most of the staff is barely courteous and sometimes even avoid you if they see you. They must have had some security issues, because for the past year a guard stands at the entrance. I get the practicality, but I feel like I'm walking into a jail, not a nice store. Also I rarely return things, but when I do, I always have the receipt and tags. I tried returning some jeans a while back and the tag had broken off the jeans - when I brought them back you would have thought I wore them to coachella and brought them back in with excrement the way they treated me. For a company that is famous for it's return policy, it was really bad. Now I'm legit afraid to buy anything as if there is an issue, I don't want to bring it back. The store isn't as organized and just in general it doesn't feel as nice. This makes me so sad as I LOVED this rack. Now I pretty much stick to the downtown Seattle store. read more

This place has some really great deals! You can get some real nice clothing from the real Nordstrom at a fraction of the cost. However there is one downside... the lines can be horrendous! The line for the waiting rooms is sometimes like 10-15 minutes long, and the line to check out can wrap 1/2 way around the store. I guess the only place there isn't a line, is the bathroom. You can get even better deals during their "sale days" however I have never attempted this as on weekends of non-sale days the lines are horrible & people are pushy & fighting over clothing, so I can't imagine what a circus it would be on a sale day. Recommend coming here during the week & when there is no sale! Also, if you need to make a return here they are really chill and easy to work with. They make returns simple! read more

I love coming here for a good deal! Waiting rooms always have helpful staff, shoes are pretty quick, the mess is something I could do without but the clientele has money and no care. I'm not a fan of some of their exclusive items, especially the basics- they don't fit well and are usually in the short size. They wear oddly and barely look decent on the hanger. For the same price I hit up target for basic tees and tanks. Otherwise good deals on my designer items that I HAVE to have! Located just down the road from Alderwood Mall, this Nordstroms Rack is a great place to shop in Lynnwood! The location is fairly large in size, has a modern feel to it, despite being open for a while now, and has very friendly staff. Checkout lines move very quickly and it is clear their is a great deal of training that their staff receives. The only negative part of this store is that it is surrounded by red light cameras in Lynnwood. I really wonder if the city realizes how bad of a rap the entire city gets because of these.... the parking lot can also get a bit crazy at times, but if you park down by Babies R Us and walk you can typically find easier parking. read more

Well. Me and my family were rack and Nordstrom customers for a long time. But what happens last night was so bad. I bought a pair of shoes just before their store closing time. I was in a little hurry get distracted by their announcement of closing going on and on. I grab the half size different , the next morning first thing I went back asking if I could change the same brand same color same everything for half size bigger. Which I know it's on stock. was the one I was going to take . They wont do it. They told me to go to ask Nordstrom to stretch it. When they have the one size on their cashier counter in front of both cashier and I. Very cold very bad its terrible Then I google the satisfaction on rack Lynnwood WA . Although it's a good selection for men, it's nowhere as great as the women's. Then again, I can't imagine men rummaging through the racks anyways. So props for their easy to read labels on each rack/table, labelling the waist sizes for jeans, neck sizes for shirts, etc. Suits: it's about finding that gem that fits. Unbelieveably, it's quite organized, considering that I don't always put back the suit at all, depending on my mood. Ties & accessories is probably the best deals here. I generally find the selection here is good for what I'm looking for, which is typically kids' clothing. When they have their Clear the Racks sale, it can be a madhouse. But if you want to save the big bucks, then you have to work for it. I went in yesterday, a Monday morning. It was nice. Everything was still organized and there weren't too many other shoppers. I scored a few great finds -- girls Tea Collection dresses for under $10 each (retail $25) and a couple of flower girl dress for just under $13 each (retail $84). Be aware that not everything is truly a bargain and NOT just unsold/out of season merch from Nordstrom. The price tags that read "Nordstrom Rack" are made for Nordstrom Rack, kind of like how outlet stores have products made for their stores.
