I'm a fan of Torrid. This retail chain has clothes for teens and adult women and covers the spectrum of fun/casual, business, after 5, lingerie and even whimsical. They have all sizes and accessories too, including shoes. If you sign up for their free program, you'll get coupons in the mail. Staff is great here. It can get a little packed in this small store. Sometimes it's hard to dig through the sales racks as they can get jammed up. This is the only store I know of where I can buy a sugar skull t-shirt, a dress for church, a suit for work, a Maleficent wallet and Darth Vader socks. read more

Excellent customer service! A clothing store for bigger girls. The store is filled with fashionable and flattering clothes with really good service. All the employees were friendly and attentive and willing to help. I needed (ok wanted) a smaller size for a shirt I loved that they were out of stock of. One of the sales associates went to their online store and placed the order for me! They will ship to the store so you can try it on or they'll ship it directly to your mailing address. You pick. Although I don't like the fact that I am a bigger girl I love the fact that I didn't feel shamed or embarrassed for needing a larger size that most department stores may not offer. Nothing against this location but treated extremely Poorly by n line Torrid. I ordered boots on sale. Their website is hard to get around to go back & forth. I'm new to Torrid & tried for 33 minutes to get my order placed for 1 pair of boots around $50. When I got my confirmation I saw it changed me boot size from 9.5 to 11!!! I immediately called them soon as they opened next morning to tell them the computer changed the size & to NoT ship out the size 11 as I have no car & not allowed to drive after open heart. I was told flat out I can't exchange or return for 5 days. Wtheck? I'll have received them by that time & if they can't stop before sending out. I was told Nope. You have to pay for them as they were on sale regardless of an edit to the order. They will not accept a return. So here I am stuck paying for boots I can't wear & out $50 to a company that doesn't give a patootie about their customers or business retention. I'm a Senior on SS. $50 is a deep hole in my pocket as well as b boots that can't be worn. DONT DO BUSINESS with CO's that don't care about anything but shoveling out leftover merchandise & refusing to correct their error. I will attempt to provide update in separate review. I've shopped at Torrid for years, more recently usually online. However today I had the opportunity of going to the actual brick & mortar store. I had earned $125 in torrid cash that I planned on spending online rather than jn store; however my daughter needed something specific & we decided to go yo the physical this time. We purchased the following item in the pictures today in-store. It was full-price but the employee suggested using Torrid cash towards it to bring the cost down, otherwise it's full price. So as suggested we used Torrid cash towards our purchased l; only to come home and see the very same garment on sale for roughly $23 online! This means I paid full-price in-store & used Torrid cash to bring it down to $25 & still paid more! I could've used that Torrid cash towards another item I wanted! I began looking at other items purchased & prices were all over the board! Why do the prices online not match what's in store. I basically just got scammed out of all the Torrid cash I earned $125 towards full price items in store that we're ion sale online! I could've purchased the same items online and saved my Torrid cash to go towards full price items (like, really full oriced items) I would love like. I love Torrid but this is a HUGE disappointment: the sales reps at the physical store said nothing about the sale prices online for the same item; & shouldn't they all match anyway. I'm sure there's probably some small print they'll refer me to in the long run about this, maybe I've missed it (something like proves reflected online are not the prices reflected in-store, or some crap like that! To me this is very dishonest! They rewarded me for shipping with them online & in-store by me earning Torrid Cash, & then they directed me to use it to save money in store when the same items were on sale online, therefore I was NOT rewarded, I was scammed! Shame on you Torrid! Always, always check the online prices if you ship at Torrid and be sure to know that you're actually getting rewarded by using Torrid Cash. I would like Torrid to please provide an explaination as to why I experienced this and how they can sleep at night knowing they're scamming the very individuals that are supporting & keeping them in business. Yup, I like this store. This review is for both the brick and mortar and the online store. I ordered a boatload of clothes online and had them delivered to the store because shipping was free that way. It was so nice to be able to try everything on there in their nicely lit dressing rooms, then return what I didn't want immediately. I found the staff very helpful and professional and the store was great! I ended up returning about 1/2 of what I ordered online (a normal occurrence with any online store I shop with) however, I found SO many super adorable things to replace my returns with that it ended up being even better than it would've been had my originals worked out. Torrid truly is the best plus sized store. Full stop. They understand that plus sizes can be fashionable and that plus sized women still want fashion. Prices are good, quality is good, clothes are up to date and geared towards women who enjoy style. read more

By far, the best Torrid in the area, and I have been to all of them. The staff that works here is SO awesome. They are ways very friendly and sweet. They are quick to help you find whatever it is you are looking for, even if they have to check stock elsewhere. The selection is excellent, but new things can go fast, so definitely jump on an item if and when you find it! The only downside is that (like every Torrid) the store is on the small side, so it can be a bit cramped. read more

When you don't get asked one time if you need help and you are digging threw the bras for 30 min trying to find your size, it might make people mad. And I still couldn't find my size in 4 different ones I wanted to try. I was greeted when I came in but the two girls and the desk talked the whole time after that. Don't avoid this store because you think it's just for kids or just for "goths." I'm a 50+ year old woman and definitely not goth. I have an odd shape (small on bottom, bigger on top) and needed to buy a dress. I needed help. The young lady who helped me was so nice and helpful! She knew what styles would work with my weird body shape and pulled some things out for me to try. They weren't a style I would have chosen for myself, but they are so cute! I came away with 4 dresses that I really love. Yes, two are black, but they are classy black - not goth at all. One is pink and one is yellow. I'm really thrilled with my purchase here, and as far as customer service goes, of all the stores I went into at the mall today, this one and Nordstrom are tied for the #1 spot. read more
