Used Love's Pro Moving to go from Woodforest, TX to Chicago. From our first call with Josh to the move in Chicago being completed, it was the best moving experience we have had. Doug QB'd the whole move from packers, loading, driving, and unloading in Chicago. So, on point, professional, and very courtesy. Team's both in TX and Chicago were highly effective and very stress free. There was a real sense of just being in the move without any drama that movers can bring. It was as good of experience as you could have for an out of state move. Payment structure was very good and price was very fair. Would definitely recommend this company based on our experience. Why 3 stars? Because my experience was good up until the end. --- --- --- I called around to several moving companies as we were about to embark on relocating to the Houston area. We were driving a Penske truck from Florida and just needed someone to unload the truck and then assemble some of the furniture. The last time we moved was the first time I'd ever paid for a moving company instead of just doing it myself. And since that time, I've always said - it's one thing that they help with loading/unloading, but the best part is that they disassemble and reassemble your furniture. After a long day of moving, the last thing you want to do is put your bed back together. So that's what I asked every company I got a quote from. The guy I spoke with at Love's said: "yep, once they are done unloading, they can do whatever you need them to do until you hit the 4-hour mark." Fast forward to the day of the mover tells me that it was not in his contract to assemble any furniture. He even showed me his work order. So it was not his fault, but the guy who took my order apparently never communicated this detail that was absolutely essential for us. The good news: they still helped us anyway by assembling the beds. The bad news: they did a pretty terrible job, as the headboards and under-drawers are pretty much not even attached. And in addition to that, they ended up being late. Their arrival time was between 8-10a and I believe they did not actually show up until around 11:30a. So while I have shared a lot of negatives, I will say that these guys really hustled when they were here and were great to work with during the whole process. We have no complaints about the actual unloading of the truck and they even helped us stack our dryer on top of our washer, which was very helpful and not something we asked for ahead of time. Overall, Love's gave us the best price, but for anyone calling them for a quote, I would be sure to get it in writing that the movers will handle assembly, as well. read more

They were the experts and gave us the expertise on exactly what we should be doing and how it needed to be done. Their guidance was extremely appreciated and saved us money from having to have an additional POD delivered to pack additional items. What a surprise to get such professional, personable and charismatic movers. the were thorough and meticulous taking great care in making sure every item was carefully protected. I chose this company thinking they were local, but really this is a big corporation. The local team was fantastic, super nice and responsive. The issue resides with cost and duration of the move. The estimate was six hours, but took eleven. Yes, almost double. Double the time, double the money. The three movers are nice enough but extremely slow moving, almost intentional to drag the per hour rate out. The escalation to the management resulted in a discussion with a smug sales person that could care less about customer service or humans for that matter. I would never use this company solely due to the way I was treated when I escalated my concerns. read more

He was on top of every step and made it such a smooth task. The movers went above and beyond. I really appreciate the three men that showed up. They were fast, friendly, and very professional. They made sure my belongings were cared for as if they were their own. None of my belongings or HEAVY furniture were damaged. We used Love's Pro Moving from a Huntsville apartment into storage in Montgomery. They were prompt with their arrival. Professionally wrapped all the furniture and art work our daughter had. Advised us on how best to store the items long term. Justin and the other gentleman were very polite and worked quickly.
