This Loves location is one of their older locations that has been kept up well and organized. They great visitors upon entering the door and appear to efficiently help all customers in queue. Whenever I do road trips, I always picks Loves or TA to stop at for either gas or to take a rest. Place typically has everything you need. A good one-stop-shop while traveling. Place is also good for truckers and offers amenities and services to them. All locations I've been to have a gated doggie area for your furry companions. If you're traveling across the state or country, Love's is a great option to stop at for gas or other needs. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about the Love's Truck Care shop at the Grand Junction, CO location. I stopped in for a PM and to have an air leak checked out. Got the PM without issue and while investigating the air leak they found my air dryer was suffering from neglect (my words, not theirs). They replaced the air dryer cartridge and replaced the actuator that was failing. The folks made sure I was able to see what they were seeing so I knew the repair needed to be made. But then on to the air leak.... My clutch servo was failing. Shane tried to get a new one for me that night but the local dealership sent the wrong part, then said they didn't have the part. The guys were going to start calling parts stores the next day for me as parts stores were closed at the late hour. The next morning, Shane found that the local dealer actually DID have the part and arranged for me to go get it while he contacted one of the more experienced mechanics to see if that guy could do the install for me. Make note that Shane is not at work. He's helping me during his off time. And he talked to Derrick (the mechanic) during his off time as well. These guys went above and beyond before performing the actual work. I went and got the part and Derrick arrived for his shift that afternoon and got straight to work on installing the clutch servo. And it worked like a charm. No air leak and the clutch operates so much easier. Big shout out to Shane and Derrick. I didn't get the guy's name that was willing to do the work the night before but thanks goes out to him as well for diagnosing the issue in the first place. Just couldn't get the right part then. Additionally, I've stopped at this Love's Truck Care a few times for minor things. I've always been treated well and I feel comfortable bring my business to them. read more

This review is for Micaiah in the service department. I asked about a smell in my car and this man just finished his shift and bent over backwards for me. Turns out my battery was leaking and I had a busted vent. Micaiah removed my battery, took me and my kitty to get replacement parts, and then installed said parts and asked for nothing in exchange! I offered him food and money. He accepted my hug. This man is an Earth Angel and I want the powers that be at Loves know what a skilled, compassionate, and beautiful human is working for them. I got off and forgot my mask -so I used my cardigan to cover my face it was to cold to go back to the car and the lady offered me one it was really thoughtful. I LOVE this Love's gas station... in fact, I think they're my favorite travel centers of all!! I've actually stopped at this one before, but it must've slipped my mind. It wasn't until I stepped inside that I realized I've been there before. I will DEFINITELY be back! It's so clean, it's smells amazing and THEY ACTUALLY HAVE LINERS IN THEIR CHANGING TABLES!!!! I'm sorry about the yelling but this is the first time I've seen someone refill those... I carry disposable ones with me all the time, and on long trips I use my travel, fluffy one, but it was pretty cool to see one finally have them. Plus the little kid biker jackets are adorable too!! Jake Christie - General Manager, was one of the kindest, most helpful, hands on, and genuine individual! It's a very rare occasion, that I am blown away by someone so eager and wiling to help, and go the extra mile. After stopping at Love's, and exhausted from a long cross country trip, I accidentally locked my keys in the car with my 2 dogs inside. Jake jumped right in, grabbed the necessary tools, and helped me regain access to my vehicle in no time at all. Jake's location in Grand Junction, was managed extremely well. I was unfamiliar with Love's, and their facilities. Jake went out of his way to review what they had to offer, and their precautionary measures and sanitation processes due to covid. I was blown away by how clean, and pristine the showers and laundry facilities were. The signage and instructions were well placed, and made it very easy for customers to understand how to use. His communication and leadership towards staff was impeccable, and it was obvious that he has a very well trained, and responsive team that worked seamlessly together. The gal at the service desk, was also very attentive, and helpful. Due to this wonderful and unexpected experience, I stopped at other Love's locations in other states along the way, hoping to find the same high standards, but unfortunately was very disappointed in their presentation, and how they operated. There's was a lot of trash on the grounds, sanitation stations were not maintained or tended to, and staff was lax and inattentive. At another Love's location along the way, the staff at Love's and the connected Arby's, expressed frustration on the lack of manager presence, and were struggling to get through their shift with no manager duty on sight, to help them with business levels, or even provide proper change for customer purchases. ***Note to Love's Corporate/Upper Management: Audit and take the time to walk your properties, and ensure that they're consistently following standard operating procedures, and maintaining the level of service that you advertise. Jake Christie's location in Grand Junction, CO. is a great example and model to follow. It's unfortunately rare these days, to find managers like him that are willing to roll up their sleeves, and work right along wirh their staff to get the job done right. read more

I would not suggest to get your truck serviced with these people. Twice now I have gone in to get my truck greased and they charged me but did not do it. this last time i asked for my truck to be greased and a hub replaced. I've been to alot of Love's in my life usually for gas. It's got a nice big lot, store is nice and quaint as well as the stuff they sell as well food/beverage/merchandise wise. People are kind and courteous as well. The roads are a bit confusing so you'll have to do alot of merging and cutting traffic to get here. Truckers be warned. read more

The price of gas was comparative to most of the other stations. The drinks and such are overpriced per usual and the bathroom was mostly clean. Some of the stalls could have used some work. The one thing that annoyed me was having to ask for a receipt because the machine didn't print one. The cashiers response to "I Think the machine ran out of paper" was basically it wasn't her job. Love's is truck stop. Mainly they provide services to Trucking industry. This love is newly built so the restrooms are cleaner not stinky like other loves. This one's a little bit more cleaner and better looking than old run-down loves. If you're stopping at any truck stop make sure you prepared to pay a little bit extra then the outside stores. I wouldn't mind stopping here because I'm a truck driver this is the only place or Pilot across the street I can go to with my big rig. read more

Loves on Macon, GA(I - 75) need to reorientate their workers because they are mostly idle and i wonder how they make up their paycheck. It took one of them over an hour just to fix a tire yet we couldn't get it done because he kept going inside to have a conversation with his colleagues, comes out they go back inside for no reason. He was interested in having conversation with people rather than getting their work done. Even when i told him its been over an hour since he started working on my truck, his response was "Only?" After a long journey crossing the Rockies and traversing the entire state of Colorado I found myself in Grand Junction in the wee hours of the morning. This place is very large with lots of items to keep one going on a long road trip. As a plus they even have shower facilities if needed. Maybe 10% of their locations need either better customer service training or better facility. Love's location I am reviewing now - customer service is sub-par, however, facility is a bit on the messy/dirty side... C'mon Love's!! Get on the right track!! Don't you disappoint your number 1 fan!! To all reviewing this - Love's is great but some located on the "off" side offer disgusting terrible customer service. Some areas such as Nebraska makes you feel their employees are racist against non-white.
