Visited 1/21/2020 Needed to top off my tank and thought I would try this new truck stop. Regular gas was only $3.15 a gal. Not a bad place for some quick munchies also. A nice little mini mart and a Chester's Chicken. Can't see if the food was any good because I didn't eat. I had just filled up at Baja tacos a block or two up the road. This is my spot to stop in town. This place is new and super clean as are the restrooms. They say hi when you walk in. They have fresh brewed tea. They sell fruit cups and salad. Try the chicken taco. It's on the back side of hot dogs. It's made with real chicken and with a few taco sauce was a great protein filled snack. Yes, this is a truck stop I am writing a review about...... This truck stop is located in Westmorland, off highway 86. For all of us going down to Glamis, THEY HAVE FREE WATER to fill your motorhome and travel trailer. They are the only place that has water for the 2022/2023 season. The pilot in Brawley got rid of the water saying the pump is out and Brawley ice also got rid of the water. With all that said and done the truck stop is very clean and well-organized. As clean as I would ever expect a busy travel stop to be. Plenty of gas pumps. Lots of food and drink options (Godfather pizza, Subway, and Chesters chicken). The Chester's Chicken was amazing! That's a rant of its own. They have a dog park! Seriously a fenced off lease dog park. So nice for our three 4-legged traveling companions. I have seen Chester's before but never eaten it. We were rushing and wanted something quick. So I grabbed 10 tenders and 4 biscuits for four of us. Big chicken breast tenders. So juicy. ok this is a good spot when your on the go for some food. Here i visited Chesters chicken. First time and here it smelled good and looked good. They had from chicken tenders to chicken sandwiches and i noticed a chicken sandwich just like they carry every else like popeyes or kfc. So i went with that and there already made and sitting under a heating lamp which i didnt notice. I got the buffalo which only had pickles and some butter sauce. Ok sandwhich is pricy i believe was 4.89 which other places has them close or bit cheaper but i can confirm they are delicious and worth it lol. here its been wrapped in aluminum wrap and i already thought to myself its prob been sweating while in there so once i opened i did notice the bottom bun was somewhat moist. i think they should at least have the chicken warm if made at that moment and just make the sandwhich upon order so buns dnt get moist being inside and closed in aluminum wrap. with that being said i dnt agree on price based on the way sandwhich is premade and sitting under a light. Also sandwhich was not bad but it was the kind you bite and batter or skin falls right off it dnt stay on when u bite it. pickles are not sweet there just plain. You do get a good size piece of chicken but needs to be put together upon order so it all stays in place and no defects so it is descent for on the go. read more

Cleanest, most welcoming gas station I've ever been to! This is a frequent stop for my dad during hunting season on his way home from Wister or during dove season staying at America's best value inn! We were following him so we stopped for gas and some food! When you walk in you are immediately greeted! Has the same items as a regular gas station store plus others you might randomly need while on a road trip. They have a huge variety of hot dogs and corn dogs - which were delicious by the way! And there is also a chicken shop and subway attached. The bathrooms were insanely clean too! Great stop! read more

Great service. Helpful staff. I lost tire pressure while driving on the interstate so I stopped here to pump air in my tires. The pump did not have a gauge and I did not have a tire pressure gauge. I proceeded to find an employee to assist me with finding one. The manager recommended an $18 tire pressure gauge which I purchased. I asked for assistance and he sent a cashier to help me with checking my tire pressure and my car's rear tire was at 20psi and pumped to the recommended 36psi. We stopped here coming and going to Yuma. Most employees are very friendly and say "Welcome" as you come through the door. We usually get gas and buy snacks, Subway and Chester's Fried Chicken. Every time we were greeted at Chester's with friendly staff and they are very accommodating except for Thursday March 14th, 2024 around 4:00 pm. This time there was a very unfriendly worker. She would not or willing to cook the Liver and Gizzards. Every time a Chester's staff would cook them for us while we wait. There was no fried Chicken Breast either. She said they are not cooking anymore breast for 30 minutes. Really don't understand what the problem was since the food case was pretty much out of everything except a few tenders. She had a Subway shirt on so not sure if she worked for them or they shared responsibility there between restaurants. I wish I would have got her name. She was very rude looking around me or seem annoyed to be there. We got some tenders and a subway sandwich instead. As we were sitting eating I noticed other customers asking for Chicken Breast and other food items. She told them they are not going to cook anything for 30 minutes. They just walked away and went to Subway. I noticed two to three employees come out from the kitchen in Chester's and starting cooking chicken after about 15 minutes being there. Worst customer service ever experienced. Traveling though stopped by pump fuel and drinks also purchased a defective cell phone charger that they would not exchange or return my money back. The Cashier Cassandra recognize me but did little to help me exchange my defective charger I purchased 3 minutes ago. For John aka manager did little to help me out or resolve my problem.
