Easily my favorite pieces of furniture, ever. Bought a CitySac and a SuperSac from Briana, a connoisseur of fine-comfort and design, who is hands down the best person to talk to and buy anything from inside of Valley Fair. Sure, they might be a bit more than what you'd expect to pay for what seems to be a simple "bean-bag," but the long-term comfort, design, and longevity are what makes them worth every dollar. It's basically more of an investment on forever-lasting-comfort. Not only are these 'sacs' ridiculously comfortable, they have a really neat and inspiring story behind them. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a sactional couch from Lovesac. Jazzmin is so friendly and helpful. She helped us pick out exactly what we wanted in our couch after some helpful design tips and much debate about pet friendly fabrics! There are so many options for fabrics, I guarantee there is something for everyone. Came to Lovesac after a heavy lunch and pretty much slept with our eyes open and our bones relaxed... just like what a tab of Xanax would do....the associates didn't seem to mind. My friend was on a hunt for furniture replacement and Lovesac modular couches and a beanbag were on the top of his list. And i can see why. It's freaking comfortable, that you get sucked in to the most comfortable position possible... The term "couch potato" will soon be "sac potato" after all our living rooms get invaded by these lovely, creative, plushy butt-catchers. I am in love with the Pillowsac, as it cradles you.almost like a hammock. Now imagine you and the Pillowsac, with a game controller or the remote control...and a drink. I've purchased all my Lovesac items from this store. The manager has always been helpful when I stop by. I'm obsessed with all their products and the quality. I love my Moviesac and squattoman, which my dog and cat uses all the time. My outdoor Lovesac items has lasted over a year without any fading in direct sun. I was skeptical about spending so much for what I thought was a glorified bean-bag. Then I went to the store and sat on one. WOW! After getting it home and, "fluffing it up" as its called, it has become a favorite piece of furniture. I literally don't even want to sit on my couch. Fo to the Thousand Oaks store. My husband and I had a lovely experience at Lovesac. We bought a ten piece couch. Steve and Yoni were friendly, enthusiastic, and funny, which made buying furniture easy. Yoni demonstrated how to reconfigure the couches into a standard eat to a deep seat and Steve recommended a back that would be great for deep seating couch configuration. We're waiting on the most important piece, the pillow sac. We ordered it back in September. First it was 3-5 weeks which is why we purchased it. We needed for mid October for my wedding party staying in my guest room (seating/sleeping). Which was part of the conversation to the salesman. Didn't even say congrats but it was whatever. We were verbally told/it's on the invoice that it would be 5 weeks at the most. We ordered it well in advance. When we contacted customer service they coldly said it was actually going to take 8-10 weeks. Claiming the cover was a custom. The VELVET cover is NOT custom... I was very upset and my folks ended up getting a hotel room. I was upset we weren't notified of the time extension. But the wedding went on and we waited for the pillow sac anyways. Now, today that I am writing this review, we're on the ninth week and I am going to claim fraud if it doesn't come in next week. Next week will be the 10th week as they so coldly stated. I rarely give bad reviews and they are not fun, I want to warn others of the lack of professionalism this company had and the lack of effort they put into their about customers. read more

This review has nothing to do with this store but it is about the company as a whole. I loved my chair (I have a Supersac) at first but that quickly changed. The cover that came with it is not very soft and it regularly goes flat and it is not even a year old. Hard for me to re-fluff because it is so darn heavy. Then they had covers go on clearance since I can't afford full price I ordered 2 for a total of $245. Three weeks later I emailed because I have heard nothing of them shipping yet my card was charged right away. No response. So today another week later I go on the site to chat. I was told the items I ordered were no longer available. When asked why I was charged I was told they always charge right away. When I asked why I wasn't automatically refunded if the items were not available I was told they don't do that but that I could order something else now over $500 each or request a refund. What a scam! False advertising a price, charging me but never shipping, and making me ask for a refund. So done with this company! I have referred many friends your way and now I am embarrassed to have done so. How do you stay in business? read more

If I can give this store more stars I really would. I've been a LoveSac owner for quite some time now, so needless to say, this thing got some USE ! Between the many movie nights, social gatherings and lazy lounging days, the MovieSac has held up against it all, even a multitude of passed out drunk inhabitants for extended periods of time, heh. This was my first piece of luxury furniture, I didn't really need it, but they're definitely worth it. Over the past few years my MovieSac has gotten a little less resilient after lounge sessions, and "fluffings" were beginning to happen a little more frequently , didn't mind too much since it sat up nice and stout just like the day it did when I got it when I did Re-Fluff. Needless to say, I'm not sure how I can ever live anywhere else without some sort of LoveSac product.... Sactionals will be coming in the near future :) The damn things are too comfortable, no extra room? unannounced friends? No worries! sleep on the sac ! The past few weeks I turned my house upside down trying to find my receipt but to no avail. I was planning on making an order for some lovesac foam refill online but decided to call instead to see if I can pick some up at the store. The store closes at 9pm and I called in at 8:58pm, didn't really expect anyone to pick up or to even help me, but they did ! I forgot how helpful and nice everyone was here. I believe it was Jasmine (if it wasn't i apologize for forgetting *eeeek*) that helped me over the phone, she got me some refill under warranty and having it shipped directly to my house! I can't believe the service, its very few and far between to receive service like that, they will have my business for life, AND to top it off, most comfortable stuff EVER! Not only do I not have to drive out and pick it up, BUT I can sit around and lounge on my MovieSac waiting for it to come . I bought a six-piece Lovesac "Sactional" as they call it and I love it! What an amazing design and business model! I love being able to reconfigure it in different ways. I use one piece as an ottoman and move it around all the time. Austin helped me with my order and follow up, and was really helpful, as was everyone else in the store. They shipped all of it to my place in a lot of smaller boxes, and I put it together. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would, but it was easy and fun. A lot of cardboard left over though. But next time I move I'll be able to easy move my section in small pieces. Another advantage is I can rotate the cushions so that I don't wear out my favorite spot to sit. Plus, I can remove the covers and wash them, or even change the color by purchasing new covers later! A Sactional is more expensive than cheaper furniture, but totally worth it! They have a lot of sales, and I ended up saving 20% which was awesome. Buy one, you'll love it! read more

My boyfriend and I have been eyeing a sactional for an unreasonable amount of time and every time we go to the mall, we go in and we don't pull the trigger. The employees were not only so willing to let us coming in and take our time (like a year) but they also remembered us. By name. FIRST AND LAST. Amazing. (and embarrassing). If I'm paying thousands of dollars for a couch, I want a comfortable couch that looks good. That's not what I got. I think we were caught up in the hype about how versatile it is. While that's true, the only thing we've ever moved is the ottoman. Because it comes in pieces, the backs are plumb and the back cushions are not angled either. In order to relax, you have to play with the cushions. When you're done, you have to straighten them or it looks like an unmade bed. While we're talking about the cushions, we wanted a basic "C" shape. When you place the cushions around the "C", they don't line up with the base cushions, and there is a gap about a foot wide that no cushion will fit in. Again, we paid thousands of dollars for this. I tried working with a customer service rep, but their solution was for me to pay another $200 for an extra back cushion. This would enable me to line up the cushions along the back and put one in each corner....kitty corner. Yeah, you should see what that looks like. Not pretty. The staff was friendly, customer service was great, but I bought a product. A product that has issues and there is no resolution that we could find. If my friend asked my opinion, I would say, "Tread carefully." If you must go by the showroom model, take all the throw pillows and blankets off it before you make a decision. read more

We recently bought a movie lounger from the store at Valley Fair, and it is the most comfortable couch I have ever personally sat on, witnessed, or heard credible stories about. Cameron was extraordinarily helpful; he gave us as much patient, personal attention as we needed to pick the couch we really wanted. We have nothing but the highest customer service reviews for our experience with Lovesac, and the credit for that belongs mostly to Cameron. The only consideration that brought this down from a five-star review is the price. The frames come with a life-time guarantee (the cushions and upholstery are three to five years), which takes away a bit of the sticker-shock, but these are still expensive couches. In the end though, if I sit down on the couch to think about the pros and cons of the couch, those thoughts just end up turning into a repetitive and soothing gurgling sound as I slip into a comfortable sleep. read more

Where do I begin... We met with Kristian randomly when we walked in to see what this place was all about. He showed us what they had set up on the floor and explained The concept to us. He did not have to think it through, he was super confident and knowledgeable in the product. He showed us different configurations and talk to us about the different fabrics,filling, and styles. It was hard to not fall in love! We were there for about an hour, but we did not buy. We went home and thought about it since this would be a large investment. After a few days, we came back! Kristian was there again To answer any other questions we may have. We ended up getting a 4 x 5 set up. Four seats and five sides. They had a promotion going, so we decided to take advantage of it. Not only that, we also got it financed or 0% interest for 24 months! We probably were very lucky with our timing, even without the discounts we would have made this investment! The fabric is easy to remove and easy to wash. It is easy to set up! Delivery was less than two weeks, and they were delivered and easy to move boxes! We got about 12 boxes with every everything inside. They were delivered through FedEx! We have not yet used couch since we are in the process of moving, but it was such a wonderful experience. I never like being sold or pressured into buying I don't believe in the product. It was easy for us to make this decision. We can switch out the covers instead of having to buy a whole new couch. There are so many different ways to set it up, and it is so easy to shifted around. I currently have a sectional, and it is such a pain to move it around. So having the convenience of the sectional, which turns into a nice size bed, it's totally worth it. I would recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their current couch, Or someone who is in need of a living room/bedroom for saving space. And it is not a waste of your time if you go and check it out! The couch will sell itself! read more

I recently decided to purchase a Lovesac pillow, and received it after five business days. I excitedly unraveled the pillow, fluffed it....and the cover I purchased was not there. I attempted to call the facility multiple times throughout the day in which the voicemail tells me to leave a name, number, and time in which they should contact me back when they are free. To my dismay no one has called me back, and so here I am...without the full set I paid for. Previously before I had a payment issue with them, and they when I called them they did respond that day, but three hours later then what I recommended... As a customer I don't really appreciate having to wait hand and foot for them, when I paid six hundred dollars... read more

I've owned a Sactional for 3.5 years. The cushions are all falling apart and the couch is uncomfortable. We spent over $4,000 on it and it didn't last. You can get a much higher quality and comfortable piece for the same amount at another store. I'm sad to say the innovative modular furniture doesn't stand the test of time and Lovesac customer care didn't offer a solution. I also went to the valley fair location to discuss this issue, and their solution was for us to spend $2,500 more on new cushions and $2,000 on new covers. read more

I really wanted this to be a great experience but unfortunately it wasn't. The person who helped us in the store was really nice and told us that we would be getting free shipping and that there were no upcoming deals. He said that we were getting the best price in the foreseeable future and that we should act quickly. We ended up spending $4000 on the set up that we wanted. We were really happy about out purchase at the time but the day we received our sectionals we found out that they went on sale for $1000 off. We were so crushed and felt like we had been tricked out if $1000. We had just bought our first home and $4000 was a huge deal for us. We returned to the store but they we not willing to talk about it at all and had a tough luck attitude. Their solution was to return the product and pay a $1000 restocking fee! We called the corporate office and told them about our experience. They seemed concerned at first and said that they would look into it and call us back the next day. Needless to say we never received a call. We called back six additional times and had the exact same responce with the exact same outcome . . . No returned call. I really wanted this to be a good experience but now I just feel like I was swindled. Don't make the same mistake we did. They were nice up front but once you've purchased the Lovesac you're just another sucker. They're the used car salesmen of furniture. read more

The pillow sac is hands down the worst product I have ever bought in my life. It is unbelievably bad, they say you have to refluff it it is so terrible it takes so long if you do. Even after being fluffed it is terrible don't use the ones in the stores as a guide. They say the pillow sac can be used as a bed, nonsense I have been using it for some time and it is soooooo bad I cannot tell you. It was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent my money on. I have been shopping for a sectional sofa and a friend referred me to LoveSac. I have been to their San Jose store (Valley Fair) three times now and am totally impressed with the quality of service. I have spent about three hours there (over three visits) researching and discussing my options. There is much to consider including configurations, size, material, accessories, etc. What I love is that the consultants in the store have given me their undivided attention on all visits and made sure to thoroughly understand my needs. The have also not been pushy to close the sale. They could see that I am a serious buyer and have given me the time I have needed to work through this purchase decision.
