Was a literal dream come true for me. The excitement of seeing such a well stocked, gorgeous, and dreamy setting for happy endings was nonstop. You can find any romance trope here whether by indie authors or by NY Times bestsellers. The staff was friendly and helpful with ALL the romance genre knowledge and the themed drinks to sip on made spending time here a blast. I never wanted to leave. Definitely worth a hop on the T to visit if you are in Boston or a drive if in the area

So cute!! I stumbled upon this super cute coffee shop/book store/ wine bar Saturday night. It was pretty late in the day but I was craving coffee and found this new hot spot in Harvard square. Instead of ordering at the counter type of place they offer table service with a full menu of coffee, snacks and wine. They even have a charcuterie board!!! My boyfriend and I ordered coffee (mocha lattes) and a charcuterie board to share. As we were waiting for our coffee we quickly glanced at the bookstore and discovered that it was full of romantacy novels! The waitress commented and mentioned that the store is 80% romantacy novels!!! As she brought over our food and drinks. Wow!! After enjoying our yummy charcutteri board and delicious George Howell coffee. We browsed the book shelves. I found the best sellers table and grabbed a book! It was pretty cool seeing some of the novels were actually signed by the author! I can't wait to come back! They also have free super cute bookmarks!

I adore Lovestruck Books so much! Every-time we visit Harvard Square, they are a must visit. Definitely an A+ bookstore for aesthetics, book selection and overall cozy vibes. Not to mention the staff are also so sweet and always willing to provide lovely book recommendations. If you have time, it's the best feeling getting a warm coffee and cozying up with a new romance book, courtesy of Lovestruck of course.

I've wanted to come to Lovestruck Books for a while, and I'm so glad I did! It's such a beautiful and cozy bookstore. The decor is stunning; it's all pink themed, with flowers and a very romantic inspired vibe, really matching the concept of the bookstore. I also got a coffee in the George Howell coffee inside, and it was such a lovely coffee experience to have it in such a pretty space. The servers and people working in the bookstore were so friendly and welcoming. I really liked this bookstore, it has such a cute vibe - especially for a coffee date with the girls!

Wow! This book shop is adorable as my friend described it! It has a coffee shop in it too! I'll def be back to try that out. The selection was amazing, the ambiance with all the flowers was stunning and I bet it's even prettier when outside isn't plagued by snow. I got a really nice copy of little women there and was happy with the price. The store has wonderful employees who are super friendly and helpful. What a great shop! So glad I got to check it out today :)

Literally stumbled upon this less than a year old bookstore in Harvard Square. What an amazing find as we were wandering around after dinner and was lured in by the George Howell signage. The barista was kind enough to accommodate with decaf pour overs . We pair and found seats and table nearby. Although we didn't have time to browse the vibe was wonderfully relaxing. Another staff came by to pour water for us--a surprise since we didn't expect restaurant service. A few minutes later our pour overs were ready and staff accommodated us with warmed milk. WHAT WONDERFUL SERVICE for a coffee shop! The decor took us to a totally different place all for the price of Geo Howell coffee. This is a must when visiting HSq!

a coffee i couldn't help but sip. mmmm

beautiful vibes. wonderful staff. plenty of seating. absolutely fantastic book selection with so much variety and care!!!! and an attached cafe. what the what!!! it's just so darn wonderful, and the community inside it is EVEN BETTER. I asked for a book rec and got the absolute perfect read for me and my girlfriend. yay!!! books are, admittedly full book price, but I'm glad the owners of such a place get my dollars instead of any larger giant. beautiful!!

This is SUCH a cute bookstore!!! Perfect for shopping for gifts and meeting up with friends for drinks at. I loved all the merchandise (the hats and tote bags especially). There's a George Howell coffee shop in the bookstore which also serves alcoholic drinks after a certain hour. There's a good amount of seating as well. The cashier was nice, and I liked that there were so many options to choose from (there was also a seasonal menu).

" Let the love begin " What a great time we had in this store . Well my husband not so much . But I got lost in this store it's just everything. A romance galore . You'll love this store as much as I. This store was much needed on Brattle street . Let the love begin! Parking is limited but manageable. The vibe is super warm . A huge selection of books of romance & love however you want to look at it , lol.

The grand opening of Lovestruck books in Harvard Square! There's a wine bar and coffee at the area's first romance bookstore. Bostons first romance bookstore is a great addition to Harvard Square. In addition to books there are unique gifts to choose from. They also seem to have a calendar full of upcoming events. The location is cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. Though it is a romance bookstore, I did find some other genres. I loved how the different types of romance books were organized so it's so easy to find what you're looking for. There's a lot of different books to choose from. The staff is friendly. I had an iced mocha from George Howell Coffee to go and the coffee and pastries are on par price wise with what I'd expect in the area. Check out my TikTok for my recap: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT28J7kRU/ Cheers!

I am obsessed with this bookstore. Every time I'm in the area I have to stop in and browse their selection of books. The staff is always very helpful and the displays are very well done. They have a great selection of romance books and also have smaller sections for non-romance genres. The prices there are what you would expect for a novelty bookstore but is not very different from prices you would see at other big stores.

Really lovely spot to browse a wide selection of books. Sorted by genres such as sports romance, contemporary, and mythology, there's something for everyone. My friend and I also enjoyed drinks and treats. I got a sticky bun and iced matcha, both of which I really enjoyed. There's also clean bathrooms. This isn't a place to do work on a laptop though.

If you're looking for gifts for your friends or girlfriends, this is the perfect spot!! I love the cute gift options, ranging from hand made jewelry to candles, cute robes to curvy cups! With their book selection, there was everything from YA to the history of women! Prices were very reasonable for gifts! I also enjoyed the vibrant colors with a majority of pink and other bright hues! Loved how things were nicely spaced out and showcased. I think they are planning to open a George Howell coffee shop next door with some cute velvet pink seats and white tables to add to the aesthetics. Overall a great place to check if you're visiting Harvard Square!!

Still a bastion of sanity, art, culture and decency in Harvard Square and in a crazy world. I did…read moremy undergrad at Harvard, and spent many a day in this bookstore, and I spent many a hard earned dollar there too! That was when there were a dozen of bookstores in Harvard Square. Downstairs, a lot of great used books, at great prices. Wonderful selection, pretty cool special events, and a great staff. Highest of recommendations. No negatives whatsoever.

Harvard Book Store sits on Massachusetts Avenue in Harvard Square and has been a fixture of the…read moreCambridge intellectual landscape long enough that it functions as a landmark rather than just a retail destination. We walked past the large windows and stacked displays visible from the street, and they invited us in before we had made any decision to enter. Once inside, the floor to ceiling shelves and the density of the selection created an atmosphere that is difficult to rush through even when we came in with a specific title in mind. The main floor covers new releases, staff picks, and a broad selection organized by subject across fiction, nonfiction, and a range of specialized categories. The curation reflects the surrounding community in the best way, with titles that reward browsing beyond the obvious bestseller tables. Staff are knowledgeable and genuinely helpful when you want a recommendation or need to locate something specific, and the information desk handles navigation questions efficiently without making you feel like you are interrupting. The basement is where the store distinguishes itself most clearly from a standard bookshop. The used and remaindered book sections downstairs cover an enormous range at a fraction of the cover price, and the quality of the used stock tends to be high. Spending time down there is one of the more rewarding ways to move through the store, and we came up with something we were not looking for when we went down. The remaindered section in particular offers discounted new copies of titles that did not move at full price, and the selection rotates enough that regular visits continue to surface new things. For an independent bookstore that delivers on depth, curation, and genuine value in the basement, Harvard Book Store is a Cambridge institution worth returning to again and again. It is the kind of place where you go in for one book and leave with a stack, and that is exactly how a good bookstore should feel.

We stumbled upon Rodney's while exploring Harvard Square area. We loved bookstores, so we had to…read morecheck it out. Wish we had more time! It is pretty big and they have a lot of books, but it was crowded, making harder to browse and navigate. As far as the selection goes, it wasn't our cup of tea. Which is OK. Schedule - every day 12-7 pm , Fridays and Saturdays stays open till 8 pm which is great! You are left alone to look at books, staff here doesn't come around to bother you which is a major plus! Prices are a tad high for a used bookstore. It's worth checking it of you're in the area and you're a fellow bookworm! It has a charming, cozy feel to it.

Was about 6$ for 30 mins or 14$ for 1 hr... needless to say we spent a little more than 30 minutes browsing at the book store. They have a few very old books located next to the checkout point. Books on many hobbies and world religions as well as classics. They do have groups of reference books and thesaurus's (and while they may have been there... I noticed partial sets and only maybe 1-2 complete sets). Books are reasonably priced -- between 94 cents and 30$+. Store was pretty busy when we stopped by but that's exactly what I'd like with a used bookstore. They do accept donations and I surmise that the inventory turns over rather quickly.
