Went at 3 pm today with extreme agony expecting to maybe only get a prescription. Office manager (I'm not sure of her name) assisted and aided me to start on reasonable payment plan. I felt reassured. Doctor was hands on, explained well, and was able to extract my tooth same day! I was thrilled & relieved. Procedure took about 30 mins. Assistance were so comforting. Office manager was able to Come up with a payment plan best for me with Care Credit. I underestimated the team there and that was truly my mistake! Thank you Lovett Dental. read more

VERY unprofessional from local office with Abbey to corporate. Started a process to receive a partial I was fitted for and expected delivery within weeks that turned into months and when it did arrive the wrong partial was ordered. Sent SEVERAL messages to regional mgr Trey Hanson and NEVER received no apologies or any type of correspondence. This caused me to have to cancel multiple speaking engagements. VERY disappointed! Never ever recommend Lovett dental. The estimate they give you will never match what they want to charge you and they will keep coming up with new charges months or even years after services were completed. They shouldn't even be allowed to work on your PET!!! I changed dental insurance and Lovett was on the plan. To try them out I scheduled and went in for a cleaning. I was told the dentist cleans teeth (LIE) hygienist clean teeth and after X-rays they saw a huge cavity and I needed a root canal . I contacted my insurance changed and returned to my former dentist who said "Lovett is HORRIBLE and known for overcharging and completing unnecessary sloppy dental work!" Run don't walk away from LOVETT, you'll be sorry if you don't. I'm SURE someone has sued and WON mega millions. read more

Slow staff. Have never been seen within one hour of my appointment time. Generally it's closer to 1 1/2 wait time. Dr is good and quick. But support staff is slow and rude. And the accounting ladies up front don't understand their job or have questionable morals. Found out through my insurance they've been charging us for items they shouldn't be. Insurance even said they've never seen anything like this before or had heard of these codes. Teeth are important. Trust another doctors office. read more

This dental office gets 5 stars from my son and I !!! They handled my son with respect, care and patience. My son had to get 4 teeth pulled via instructions from the orthodontist and the insurance and other dental offices were giving us the run around. Then we stumbled upon Lovett Dental on FM1960 & Eldridge and Abby (office manager) came to the rescue and helped get us the dental care we needed for my son. Abby went above and beyond to explain the procedure to my son (she calmed his nervousness) and helped me understand the billing and insurance cost. Have never before been told straight out I could not be in the room with my child. She's 3 years old, sedated, and they will take 45 min with her to fill her cavities. Pissed. I have been going to this office for 4 years. I have to say I disagree with the negative reviews. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences every time I go. The Dr., Dr. Huynh is very kind and gentle. He always lets me know what I need. Helen the hygienist is very thorough and gentle as well. The front office staff is efficient and friendly. They remember who I am and make me feel wanted and important. I will continue to go to this dental office and bring my family and friends. Normally people only make a comments when they are mad. The front office doesn't pay attention to anything you say. Came in for my perio, their temp hygienist (they have a high turn over) only did the standard cleaning. When the office manager asked her why she said I didn't need the perio, I just needed a standard cleaning. Office manager had me reschedule a perio 4 months out. (This should have been my sign)Their benefits specialist called me the day before my reschedule perio appt to let me know she wasn't going to keep waiting on hold (for 2hrs) to verify my benefits and that if she doesn't get it done before my appt I'll have to sit and wait and can't be seen. I cancelled my appt. now curious, I went and had a consult with 2 other dentist who both agreed I didn't need the perio. They where booking appt based on what my ins would cover. Then after I put a review on line, someone from office called to say they owed me a refund of some money because my insurance paid more than they anticipated! Made an appointment for my daughter on 11/14/27 got text messages to remind me up until today 11/21/2017 that my appointment was at 230 got there the receptionist said my daughter didnt have an appointment they don't even do kids appointments on Tuesday showed up the string of text messages I have been getting along with the one that told me to hit c to confirm then it went from that to oh well the doctor isnt here we called you. Told them i didnt get a call if I did I wouldnt have driven way over there I live far from this office. Front desk was really unbothered asked me what did I want them to do she went from me not having an appointment to knowing for a fact that she personally called me. No apologizing no nothing she told me it was a human error pretty much saying its my fault.. My family just moved back to Houston and my kids were due for their cleaning and this place was close and accepted our insurance and had a Pediactric dentist so I scheduled, even with reading the reviews. I should have listened. First, they cancel my initial appointment because the doctor had to be at a different location and not tell notify me until I called to confirm. I rescheduled both of my children's appointments for back to back today as NEW patients. I was on time filled out paperwork and wasn't seen until an HOUR after my first child should have been seen. Dr Nguyen rushed through checking my 3year olds teeth and brushed his teeth very quickly and aggressively and applying the fluoride in a way that he had more on his tongue than his teeth and he cried due to the discomfort. They took X-rays of my 8 year old daughters teeth, which she only glanced at and then asked if I wanted sealants done (she has no cavities) when I asked if she needed them she said its preventative and it's covered by my insurance. There was no discussion or explanation as to why or information to go with it...They were done with both of my children within 15-20min. As a new patient there was no getting to know them and making them comfortable. I also have never been to a dentist office where I am not able to be with my child during their procedure after the first visit but at this office, that is their policy. I don't normally write reviews but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and rushed environment and will not return. read more
