However somehow Scott was able to refinish over 1200 ft.² of floor for us and then we did the white glove test on the walls and nothing was there. Our floors look amazing-- not a single dust bunny, embedded grit, or any flaws could be found (our neighbors paid another company to do theirs at the same time and they did save some money, but it was evident!) We engaged them to…read morerefinish our old red oak floors, which had a very dinged-up old finish and areas of water damage, and an extremely orange color that we wanted to get away from. Laura brought many red-oak samples with different stain colors for us to keep in-house for a few days to watch with different lighting until we knew exactly which stain we wanted to go with. (We chose Provincial to give us a pretty mid-brown with a kiss of warmth from the oak coming through.) Alex was always on time, kind, attentive, and hard-working. They were willing to split our job into two phases for us, so that we could move all our furniture from one side of the house to the other for the work to be done. The finished floors are BEAUTIFUL. The color change was exactly what we were looking for, all the water damage is gone, gaps are filled and completely camouflaged with the stain. Our floors feel silky under bare feet (we went with the satin sheen). Most importantly, I had expressed concerns ahead of time about the stain finish on the oak tambour island in the kitchen, which meets the floor without intervening trim, getting messed up during the floor refinishing. Alex worked that area completely by hand, and the result was pristine - the floor around that was refinished perfectly, right up to it, but the tambour staining was not in the least marred. We 100% recommend this small family company, and will return to them in a heartbeat for further services.

As one of the other reviewers said, these guys use subcontractors of varying quality. They had to…read morerefinish the floor 3 times because the owner insisted on sending the same crew back each time (which makes sense if using a fixed-price sub - keeps their profit intact). I communicated my concerns professionally (and almost apologetically) with the owner as we went, but I'm not sure that any of them were addressed directly with the crew - rather they were just given basic instructions at the start of each day to fix the problems from the last go 'round. I'll give them credit for trying to make it right, and the floor looks a lot better than it did when they started, but it still wasn't 100% at the end and they didn't want to listen to any more complaints. A list of items specific issues that as far as I can tell were never communicated back to the crew: - The first thing the crew leader did was take a dump in my bathroom, without asking, and made this a daily ritual. - They didn't bother to cover anything up before sanding - no sheathing between rooms, no covers over the vents - so dust was everywhere in the house. At least I had the good sense to turn off the HVAC, but still had to change the air filters several times before they finished the job. - They sanded/buffed the carpet, trashing it where the carpet meets the hardwood. - Stain was applied in some places across grain / boards rather than same direction leading to stripes (1st attempt), and inconsistently leading to dark splotches (2nd attempt). - They used my ladder (from the garage) without asking. - They left gobs of topcoat around trim and puddling elsewhere. - They did not take the time to use filler properly after the second attempt - there are dark spots around nails, knots, and where sanding was rough. - Hand sanding was quite rough in several areas leading to dark stain, especially around trim, cabinets, toilet, etc. And they didn't thoroughly clean or screen before coating in several places, leading to dirt and debris in the finish. - Stain spatter was left on the wall from brush work and flinging wet towels. The sinks were a left an absolute mess. - There was no real cleanup to speak of and patches of grass are dead in the front yard where they cleaned stain off their tools and equipment. - The "suicide cord" they were using to connect to 240V was a fire and safety hazard. After attempting to share my last round of concerns (not asking for them to redo it again but rather just trying to share some of the issues for future improvement), Anthony told me to stop looking so closely and asked, "You gonna blast us on the internet?" indicating his level of concern. For a website that touts their high level of professionalism and reputation, the crew did not reflect it. If I wasn't a professional contractor myself, then this might have been a traumatic experience. And if I knew the crew and could have hired them directly, then I would have undoubtedly paid half as much... but then they might not have redone it 3 times (especially because I would have kicked them out after the second attempt). I never asked for a discount, and one was certainly never offered. I'm leaving 2 stars because on Yelp that means it "could've been better" but for the price I paid to go with the "pros" I regret not giving one of the other bidders a chance.

Roger reached out almost immediately and scheduled repairs. He did the estimate and Jeremy did the demo and retiling. They were able to come out the next day to do an estimate and then in two days they were finished the job. The tile job was perfect and matched my existing shower walls. Everything looks great and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Both Roger and Jeremy were real professionals, incredibly responsive and understanding of the whole situation. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We were hesitant to go with another person we didn't know to do the work, but because of his reviews we booked him. I am so thankful we did! Him and his son Taylor removed the bad tile work and put in new tile with quality parts. The tile is absolutely gorgeous and is professionally laid. Mark responded in a timely manner, asked me some questions to get a better sense of what I wanted, and gave me what I believe was an honest, fair estimate. (That wasn't the case with other companies that responded. Not only was he extremely experienced and efficient with the installation of this particular system, he charged us approximately $350 less than it would have cost us to go through one of the retailer's contractors. We are now able to realize much more usable space than before. Next job already scheduled for the hanging of a new barn door for the walk-in closet! With a new bike on the way, I found it was going to be quite a challenge storing it in our relatively small garage. I barely had enough room to squeeze the car in with just one bike, so purchased a ceiling hanging system. After the system arrived, I hired Wade Services to do the job. Upon arrival, he suggested an alternative solution that would allow for easier access to the bike. I went with his idea and was quite pleased with the results. Where there was once clutter and barely enough room for one bike, I now am able now able to fit two bikes (old bike pictured - new one will be placed where the tires are), store my ladders and camping tables, and still effortlessly park my full-sized SUV. He also offered other improvement ideas, which I will have installed at a later date. He also suggested new layout ideas for two of our closets. We also plan to have him install those as well! You know how it is when you're searching for someone honest to work with, well we lucked out and found Casey and Mike! I have become handicapped to where I cannot climb our stairs and our son-in-law and my husband came up with an idea to add a walk-in shower in our half bath downstairs for me. The project management was excellent! Casey oversaw everything and was here every day along with Mike working hard. Casey arranged the plumber and the electrician who were also awesome, and the work was done on schedule. Because I am handicapped all of them were very accommodating for my needs (see the black tarp up for my privacy picture) because this is the only bathroom I have available to me. The project was done in a timely manner, and I must say it was perfect and better than expected! The pictures I have included are of the wall before they knocked it out for the shower project and the finished shower fully handicapped. They also made it possible for anyone to take a shower standing up in it also!
