Lowell is awesome! I had a family of 6 raccoons move into my attic and after a couple sleepless nights I found Lowell. He came out the same day and built a trap himself that fit around their only exit on the roof. He also set up a camera to monitor them which was cool because he would text videos of them to keep me posted of the progress in catching them. They understood how animals behave and were able to catch and release in over a weekend. Built a HUMANE trap and completed his task professionally without killing the animal....like most humane societies...probably would. OR just wouldn't take the call because this is out of their "scope". (tax dollars hard at work lol) And a lady was very quick to make calls on the outskirts of our business; very unfortunate. Living in an area that used to be orange groves, the rats haven't forgotten this land was theirs! I felt like I was surrounded and about to lose the war, but Lowell came to the rescue! After a pest control company demurred from coming out on a likely furry animal call ("Because we don't do that kind of work!"), I went to Yelp and found Lowell's Wildlife Removal. It was probably my best find to date on Yelp! Lowell did a great job resolving and remedying my wildlife destruction problem that had been going on in my house in Redlands, California, since last October. After the fourth time a ceiling panel fell from the family room over the garage to the floor in an area unrelated to the first three such episodes, I finally realized that I faced a much greater problem than just glue coming undone. This time a ceiling panel came down with enough force that the railing alongside it was smashed into pieces, and it was readily apparent that some large animal (or animals) must have gained access to the attic from outside and was on a destructive rampage inside it. Lowell, who is a state-licensed animal trapper and expert tracker, besides having superior carpentry skills, not only found two holes on the roof where peaks came together that he closed off with galvanized steel mesh, but he also found raccoon hair and feces that he removed, and even dirt marks on an eave where he determined a raccoon had jumped onto the roof from a 7' fence nearby. And Lowell very professionally replaced the fallen ceiling tiles that are now no longer manufactured, repaired damage, and cleaned up dropped debris in the family room. When his nail gun went totally dead, he even went to a local building supply store and bought a replacement, in order to timely complete all work. Lowell also created and painted a new attic cover for one that had been broken in two. He better secured a rain gutter to the roof. And he removed a painter's glove that had been stuck to a roof shingle for over a year. That is exemplary service! And, the total price charged for Lowell's two half-days of labor was very reasonable, too. Lowell also indicated when he was in my home in Redlands that he would come to Las Vegas on an animal-related call, if needed there, too. Like many of us, he sounded like a fan of Vegas who doesn't need much convincing or excuse to drive there. If I ever do have another animal-related problem, whether in California or Nevada, I will surely make another call to Lowell and Lowell's Wildlife Removal! read more

After hearing noise in the attic I called Lowell. He came out the very next day to investigate and set up cameras and traps after seeing signs of raccoons on my roof. Happily, no raccoons showed up but there was lots of evidence of rats in the attic and basement. My 1910 historic house sits on a rock foundation with so many access points that it seemed impossible to seal them all but Lowell spent days installing heavy screen everywhere necessary. He also repaired siding and came up with a brilliant idea to seal my old outside basement hatch. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Lowell. My mother lives alone and when I came to visit around thanksgiving, I could hear something in her attic. I wasn't sure what it was but it definitely didn't belong there. I found Lowell on Yelp. I called him and he had no problem coming out the next day to inspect. We have had a recurring problem with rats getting up into the attic and nesting. When the weather gets colder we hear them. Wanted to prevent damage to wiring and animals getting trapped up there and dying. We were committed to no poison being used as we have animals and I didn't want the possums being impacted. I've used Lowell's services twice now for some pesky skunks at my cabin in the mountains. These buggers have made a mess of my cabin with their awful stench. Anyway, Lowell was easy to get a hold of and explained his process and then offered his solution. He came up and met me and we went through all the possible entry points and then he set his traps and secured the other areas. Sure enough he got 2 skunks over the course of several days. He then put in a good amount of work securing that entry point. Unfortunately, during the winter some new skunks moved in. Lowell had mentioned that skunks are persistent and these ones dug around the screening he put in and this time it was a family of 6. Lowell came back up and set his cages and then reinforced the screening. I don't have enough nice words for Lowell. We called him after we discovered a raccoon living in the intersection of our roof eaves. He called me back quickly and was completely upfront about pricing. He inspected, the house and found out where she was climbing up. He also looked for any other critter access points while he was at it. After inspection, he explained everything to us and let us know that there was a litter of babies up there. Lowell was resourceful and respected our wishes to keep the racoon and her babies alive. We devised a plan to try to get her to take her babies and go. We watched her on our security system and Lowell asked for updates every day to see if she had moved them. In the end she abandoned them instead of moving them, so Lowell removed the babies (unfortunately one was already dead) and I was able to take them to a wildlife rehabilitation hospital. He put mesh up to block off the area and it's almost invisible! He was done quickly and left no trace that he was here. His prices were very fair and he is so knowledgeable. I randomly called several YELP wildlife removal company to remove something that got into my house via my basement crawlspace. Lowell was the first and only one to respond. I am really the lucky one - Lowell not only caught 1 Opossum, but 3 skunks (I had no idea) that had called my warm basement their home. Lowell wakes up early to release anything caught in the traps. Holiday vacation out of state and for the first time in over 20 years, the crawl space panel fell open. Second night back, heard commotion under the bathroom floor at 4:00 am. Thoughta varmint was just scuffing around for grubs and by morning it seemed like the problem had just walked away. I closed up the crawl space and thought I had dodged a bad situation. Wrong, two nights later at 5:00 am there were noises coming from under the bathroom floor and then it sprayed. The whole house reeked. This was past my abilities. I called a local exterminator company and was told most exterminators will not handle wildlife, like SKUNKS, because of specific laws in dealing with the animal. One company gave me Lowell's Wildlife Removal. I left a voicemail and within minutes Lowell called back. He arranged to come out that afternoon, gave me rundown on what he can do after the SKUNK is trapped and how to prevent any further invasions. He set up the trap, put a motion activated camera and time to wait. That night, that SKUNK dug a pile of 24" of rock and dirt into the trap. No SKUNK that night, and the rocks would have kept the trap door from closing properly. As nightfall came, carefully cleaned out the dirt and rocks and crossed my fingers. Morning came and Mrs. SKUNK was getting evicted. But what a stinky mess she left behind. Lowell heavy gauge wired both crawl spaces closed. Four days later, the smell is improving daily but slowly. A raccoon recently decided to make our boat his crash pad. After trying nearly commercially-available, raccoon-detractant and several home remedies (none of which phased this animal), we realized we needed professional help. Searching the web, we found Lowell's Wildlife Removal to be one of the best rated establishments out there, so I picked up the phone and gave them a call. Speaking with Lowell, I could tell he had decades of experience removing wild animals form many unusual places, but a boat provided a new challenge. Meeting with him the following day, he quickly found numerous entry and exit points, and devised a dual capture plan: one on the vessel and another on our dock (I had seen the raccoon exit the boat before, tightrope-walk the dock chain, then swim (yes, swim) to an adjacent dock). Lowell set two traps, expertly securing them, even providing plywood to set the traps upon, so the raccoon couldn't scratch the boat's carpet or the deck of the dock. The following morning, we found a big raccoon latched in one of the traps. We called Lowell, and he was at our house within an hour. He transferred our "bandit" to an animal carrier, removed the traps and even helped us clean up afterwards. Lowell then released the raccoon back into the wild, several zip codes away. To put it simply, trying to get rid of a raccoon yourself is best left to an expert. Lowell is not just an expert in wildlife removal, but he is a raccoon whisperer. I was impressed that he was able to find all the ways a raccoon could access our dock and boat, place them in the most likely access points and capture the animal in less than 24-hours. I had a skunk problem. After weeks of barricading fences, filling holes, and suffering many stinky nights it was time to call in an expert. After some internet digging I chose Lowell based on the excellent Yelp reviews referencing his knowledge, skill, and expertise; his services certainly stood out from the other wildlife removal companies. Without question I chose wisely. After a quick phone call Lowell's knowledge was confirmed, and I contracted him to assess the situation. I couldn't be present for the initial survey, but this wasn't a problem, and he kept me well informed via txt with pictures of his findings, and the work he had done. He found no signs of denning in my crawlspace, or under the rear deck, and had sealed the one open crawlspace port with 1/4" wire mesh to ensure no animals would enter following his inspection. Lowell was very thorough, though I'd discover later that night that a certain skunk was very stealthy, and had hidden quite well. The racket I this animal put up that night was incredible, as would be expected from a trapped animal. I contacted Lowell immediately and informed him there was most certainly a skunk trapped in the crawlspace. He trusted I was not mistaken, and the next day came and set up a trap to catch the animal. Sure enough, 7:30pm that night I heard the trap slap shut and I confirmed the skunk had been trapped. The next morning Lowell came, collected the animal, and set up another trap just to ensure no other animals were in the crawlspace. Following Lowell's advice I have barricaded the rear deck with small-holed steel wire buried in a concrete-filled trench to prevent digging. I've also reinforced the crawlspace port covers to keep them from being pulled out. Lowell knew how to keep them out, and what I could do to deter them from returning for a home under the house. I couldn't have asked for more from Lowell's service. He is kind and professional, worked with my schedule, and gave knowledgeable, experienced advice to help prevent future problems. Living in the Evergreen historic district in Riverside, there is a known skunk problem in the neighborhood, and Lowell has helped me tremendously in removing, and avoiding, the problem. I called and left Lowell a voice mail message about an possum in my garage that showed up a few weeks ago. It is an adult and I say hi to it everyday and don't want to hurt it. I've had a trap out but it hasn't gone in there yet. I wasn't sure if it was going to bite me and I'm out of Lowell's range demographically but he called me back and was nice enough to answer all my questions. They do not bite. They do not chew. They are very docile and not aggressive. I don't like hurting animals at all, so after talking with Lowell, I've decided to approach the scared little girl or guy myself.
