Now they say the POA I signed, gave them LEGAL rights to do as they please with the paperwork I signed the day I took possession of vehicle, and I have requested a copy of the title app that was sent in to DMV, However I haven't received it... Beware: In August, 2023 I bought a 2008 Lexus RX 350 from Lowery Brothers. A month later, after spending $3000 in repairs I confirmed the car has a used 2007 Toyota Avalon engine with unknown mileage in it, and told by Lowery it has catalytic converters that need replacing. Lowery Brothers sold the car as "low mileage" with only 98,000 miles on it. They did not disclose the engine replacement. An expert Lexus mechanic in Birmingham said this after inspecting the car: "Do not spend another dollar--get rid of it immediately." I called Lowery Brothers and said "Sorry. We didn't know that". They should have. Their mechanics should have, and may have told them, but they did not tell me. They offered no recourse. They made sure legally they do not have to. This is Alabama. You are on your own after purchase. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Do not trust them. We will lose $8,000 even if we can salvage the maximum value from this debacle. read more

2 months our car lasted before needing repairs to be driveable again. They seem to have a history of selling lemons. Its despicable. That's crazy to see so many bad reviews. I saw a car on their website, called to see if it was still there, and went to go get it the same day. Carmela was my salesperson. Ive had my car 4 years and have not had any major problems with it. Minor problem was the one of the car charger didn't work and the seat sometimes get stuck when moving it back and forward. I would just say make sure you take someone who know something about cars to inspect the car before purchase, as you should any car lot! read more

Absolutely WORST experience dealing with these crooked scumbags, with exception of Carmela. I paid cash for a vehicle on November 23, 2019 and it has been in the shop for 7 weeks from then until now. The engine needed to be replaced almost immediately after I purchased it. Thank God I got a warranty even though they scammed ACS Warranty. (they have a red flag on any claims submitted because they are so shady) However, they didnt offer a loaner car, I had to go by the girls schedule in the service department to even pickup my car, and I got no paperwork in regards to the engine replacement even after asking. A week after getting it back it had to go back in the shop due to an issue with the transmission. I did get a crappy loaner car and made to take down my previous review in order for them to fix it. They kept my car 6 weeks and I still have no idea what was done because again I got no paperwork. This is the text I got from the GM Mike of the Huntsville location after i was told he would leave paperwork in the car. "It was truly an oversight but of I'm unprofessional then ur husband is stupid for not asking for them told u not to be ignorant towards me I would be willing to help you in anyway possible that's part was just over so I will mail you your copies and I'm done have a great day." A week later still no paperwork...go figure. We have contacted an attorney about this and are also working with ACS Warranty company in regards to the shadiness of their claims. I bought a truck from them yesterday. Paid cash down and spent 6 hours driving there and signing papers. Papers where suppose to be ready when we got there and they weren't. On the way home the check engine light comes on. Try to start after making a stop and had to turn the key 2 times. The first time it acted like it wasn't getting any juice. The second time it fires right up. Wife drove it the next morning to the store I'm cranked fine. When she left the store it cranked fine. I went to leave in it 20 mins later after she got back home. Went to crank it nothing. Thought the battery might be dead. Tried jumping it off nothing. The dome lights inside wouldn't even come on. Hit the ends of the jumper cables together and got sparks. Put a battery tester on it and it tested fine. I guess I just bought a lemon. read more
