I truly liked my dentist but I hate the call center to make appointments and the staff there is horrible. And the billing lady is very lazy and doesn't apply insurance correctly. Scheduled an appointment a week ago, evidently through their call center. Provided all insurance info and patient information. ALSO filled out paperwork text to me before the appointment for my daughter. Show up. All the information is wrong in the system, no insurance info noted. So spent the first 30 minutes waiting for them to verify insurance and re-enter all the patients information correctly. They had me stand there at the desk the entire time. On August 27, 2024 I went in for a cleaning. Beverly was my hygieneist. She spent over an hour cleaning my teeth. She was so kind and patient. Beverly was very thorough. And she educated me on better dental care. I am so thankful for Beverly. She is a rare find. I highly recommend Beverly. read more

Like many others, I had been going to this office for a very long time (I didn't have the patience to find a new place) always a new dentist and for a while I had the same hygienist until she got fed up with the office, herself. I had got braces on before I went the last time for a cleaning and they asked me to get the wire removed. That was 30 min to my ortho, 40 min to Lowe's and would be another 40 to the ortho and a 30 min drive home.. So In the car all day. when I arrived for the cleaning that I scheduled, they said "well, we'll see if we can get your cleaning in today after your exam" ...i was dumbfounded. I'm not usually one to argue, but I said "I sure hope you can, because that's what you told me on the phone. " this was already an all day event not to mention I had to get someone to watch my kiddos. They ended up doing the cleaning.. before I left I checked it over in the car because the hygienist said she's "old school" and that's why she like to just use the pick without the water. There was still plaque on my teeth.. I asked her to go back over it because insurance only covers two cleaning a year. Long story long... they said they wouldn't bill me for X-rays they took that day (I had provided previous ones from less than 6 months ago but they were not satisfied with them) I got a bill, then they just kept coming in every few days. Eventually went to collections and that's when I decided to call and ask them about this bill.. it was for the X-rays they said they wouldn't charge for. And the office seemed really confused, they said it was a bill for my husband. Then said it was for me. Then said it was for something besides the X-rays. Then finally said, ok, we will settle it. It was $40 it wasn't about the money.. it was the principle of it. I'm REALLY surprised this place is still around; It's an absolute mess!! After not scheduling for my next cleaning... guess what I get in the mail, yup, a mysterious bill. I will be going to fresh dentistry this time for my cleaning and I'm hoping it's a far better experience than what I've grown accustomed to. One good thing I can say is this office has always been clean but I honestly do feel like that is going down hill too with the new lobby staff. read more

This company was amazing when I first started using them over a decade ago. I have been a loyal client since 2011 and sadly, I am leaving without looking back. This office or group of offices, has changed hands 4 times since I started with them and each time the service has gotten successively worse. It is now to a point t where I will no longer use them. I go 3-4 times a year for a cleaning. I had the same hygienist for years and she was so disgusted with the transition the last time, that even she left the company. My hygienists have always known that I go more than twice and are cared to only do a cleaning unless the other services are covered by insurance. This last one wasn't paying attention and charged for a doctor consult despite me saying that I was pretty sure it wasn't time yet. So I was charged extra for that service beyond my normal charge for the extra cleaning. The office then was difficult when I tried to protest the charge. They add hidden fees for services they don't even do .. example "COVID fee" when they don't do anything different anymore but it's a way they can get an extra money out of folks. It seems like more and more, the goal is nickel and dime the clients rather than providing stellar care. They used to have a white for life program that was eliminated with the last company to cut costs. The markup on product sales is completely unreasonable with 25% more than what it was before (already marked up by at least 15% before). Just unethical. read more

The Lowes Farm Dental team seemed kind. The charges were very high ~ $191 for a glorified teeth cleaning. Although I felt uncomfortable doing the high priced treatment they recommended, they gave me a lot of information and seemed helpful. The main problem I had with them is that, after I paid the price they quoted, they not only billed my insurance for $1,361 but kept billing me for more, as well. When I explained that it must be a mistake (in truth, I had already made a mistake in paying so much), they said that it had been an "estimate" quoted me, not an actual price. REALLY? I am a regular at another office, and had an emergency with a broken tooth. I was referred this this office as my regular's Sister Office. I called and was told to come straight over, even though they were booked for the rest of the day. The staff was very kind and understanding, and I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I had to have an extraction the following day, and Dr Paul came in early on his late day to take care of me. Every member of the staff was concerned for my well-being and went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of me in my time of need. I would recommend this office to anyone in the area looking for a skilled dentist and compassionate & attentive staff. read more

Dds missed cavity on cleaning exam and X-rays. 6 months later on my next cleaning she told me about cavity. I had not had X-rays at that visit. Then told me was on my last visit X-ray. Funny thing no dds documented they reviewed X-ray or checked teeth after hygienist cleaned them. I told dds I saw her. She missed cavity and it had gotten worse. Scheduled appt to get fixed. She ended up destroying large amount of my tooth and finished told me it will need crown soon. Tooth was causing pain. Returned to office saw different dds and he told me it's my wisdom tooth. I left and never return. Went to my old dds 2 weeks later and had to have crown on tooth they messed up. This was a few years back but reading reviews much hasn't change. Also discussed at the time with office manger and she said she would talk to dds and call me back....still waiting for that call. read more

Terrible service. Cancels appointments without any notice. Services for general cleaning are overpriced. They upsell you on their cleaning - very odd from a medical facility that is operated more like a car salesman. Front desk staff is clueless and unprofessional. We chose here because of location convenience but will be very happy to drive somewhere farther for better care and service. read more

I have been a patient of this practice for almost a decade and originally selected them because the dentist, Dr. Romney, was recommended as being very gentle since he worked with kids. Things were great while Dr. Romney was there but he moved to Ohio and since then it has been a revolving door of doctors and hygienists and the practice has been going downhill. The only reason I am not giving them one star is because their staff is very nice and friendly nd they always remember you and greet you by name and that personal touch deserves a star. My last visit was for two fillings and ended up with my mouth being cut and bleeding and the procedure taking almost two hours and was just a very unpleasant experience. In addition like others have set you get quoted one price and then you receive additional bills later. Enough is enough. Time to move on. read more

We went here for years due to convenience and insurance, but we are finally done. Every time we went, there was a new dentist and a lot of the time all new staff...it's hard to form a relationship when everyone changes. They have NEVER been good with billing. They will tell you one price, then you are billed with something different. Our billing records have always been messed and we have spent too much time trying to get them straight. You are warned...do not go here or spend time trying to get billing correct and you will never see the same people twice. read more

I've never been to this place however I went to Dr. Sherry K. Flusche previous office in Southlake for a cleaning. She said I had multiple cavities even tho I had no pain. 3 on one side, 2 on the other. I got the 3 done on one side. After that incredible pain. Like someone was beating me on that side of my face with a baseball bat. I went back & she said I needed a crown & a root canal. The referred me to a root canal specialist because she didn't do the root canal on the tooth that needed it. She gave the specialist the tooth number & I got in about 6 weeks later. Come to find out - WRONG TOOTH. So had to get another root canal. Over $5k later & still can't check on that side of my mouth. I get cleanings twice a year but am very cautious about so called cavities on x-rays. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday. The staff was very friendly and kind. When the dentist walked in I was shocked! She immediately started with this nervous laugh after every sentence, she reviewed my x-ray and started quoting and selling high priced cleanings and saying I had many cavities before examining me. Mind you all of this was even before the cleaning!! What took the cake was when she took the sharp tool and started scraping my teeth roughly, cutting my gum. I will have to agree with the previous review. I was a new patient here and took advantage of a promotion they had for new patients which seemed to be a waste of time. Showed up to get the promotion and left with nearly 8 fillings they wanted to get done. Previous dentist didn't seem to have any concerns but this one thought I needed to have a lot of work done. Had the fillings scheduled to be fixed but when I showed up for the appointment they had to record of me scheduling this. Very poor service. Going to be transferring my records to another dentist because I am not in the business of having my time wasted. read more

UNDER NEW MGMT!! When my other dental office closed I was nervous about getting to know a new practice. But most of the same people are at the new location! I truly believe that the caliber of an office starts with good leadership. This practice is top notch!! The lobby is clean and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, they offer a variety of services and they're fast. There is no scare tactics or up selling, just great quality dentistry. I used to be so happy with this dental office but the last two visits have been very disappointing. Every 6 months I go there is a new dentist. They always find "soft spots" on my teeth and recommend fillings. They did this to my husband too. When he got a second opinion the new dentist could not find any problems. They just want to do more work to be able to bill insurance more. Then this last time they sent my old insurance information with my bill to my new insurance. For months I am working on getting my dental insurance corrected because they dropped me thinking I had another insurance provider as my primary. When I informed the billing office of this they told me there is no way they would have done that and I needed to pay. I have proof of this billing mistake by my insurance company. Today I received a collection notice. I am having to do all the leg work to get my insurance to pay and have kept them informed. Now I get a collection notice. My family & I have been patients at this location since it opened & we've always had a positive experience. I had a chipped tooth & I was able to be seen within 2 hours. Dr. Hernandez did a beautiful job with the filling using no anesthesia & I experienced no pain. I was impressed the procedure took merely 25 minutes. Our insurance changed and this is the office we were assigned by our new insurance. My whole family went in for a cleaning. My husband and I were both given a gingivitis treatment (first time ever being told we needed that). My daughter had a pretty big cavity and needed a baby crown. We paid nearly $1000 in this office in a 2 week period just on her. The crown that was out on fell out of her mouth later that day and they were great getting her back in to fix it. However, barely 6 months later it fell out again. We purposely changed our insurance plan to get our old dentist back. We went to him and we found out the crown they put in was nothing more than thin tin that held no shape whatsoever. It was put in with temporary adhesive. Today, I received a bill saying my account is over 90 days past due. This is the first bill I've received since August and now we get fun of determining why we owe them even more money! read more

This office is terrible! The staff changes constantly and they are unprofessional! They don't do their jobs and constantly make excuses as to why things aren't done in a professional manner.
