Secondly and more frustrating, we are now getting numerous EXPIRED items, or DAMAGED / OPENED items.....that they clearly could NOT sell in the store. At first I thought nothing of it, but now after talking with many of my neighbors and it happening SEVERAL times...it's clearly a SCAM to make MORE PROFIT. The hot bar is cafeteria style in which you point to what you want in front of you. There is a blend of traditional Chinese options and some other more Americanized options. They have all different types of meats, including steamed fish, pork, chicken, etc, as well as tofu and vegetable options. The most expensive option is the $10.99 rice and three options, which is already a bargain in this economy. The food itself is solid for the price, and is very fulfilling. I would totally have this every lunch! Attached to the hot bar is the Chinese BBQ section. There, you can get roast pork, duck and other fresh meats. Their roast pork with the crispy skin absolutely rocks. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy and crunchy. My only problem with Fresh International are their hours. Their hot bar closes at 6:30 PM, while the store stays open until 9. I came at 7:00 PM and they were already wrapped up! Bummer! Make sure to come at lunch while the food is hot and fresh!

That said, I'm docking a star for one consistent issue: it's often hard to find staff on the floor who are available or eager to help locate hard-to-find items. For a new customer, that can be frustrating. The cashiers are friendly, but with only one or two usually working, asking for assistance sometimes means waiting until they've finished a line of transactions, which shouldn't be necessary in a well-staffed store. A lovely store with great offerings--but the lack of accessible customer service brings the overall experience down a bit unfortunately.
