They suddenly stopped taking some returns without a receipt. Customer service from the corporate level seems to have declined. I won't be shopping at any Lowe's any more. You don't go from having a history of taking basically anything back to not without some notice. I wish there was a lower rating I could give them. read more

Terrible customer service by LOWES. I try to shop at lowes, home depot etc, but now I think I need to stay away from Lowes. This review will also go on Google, Yelp, where i am authorized contributor with followers. Here is the story: I had this order during thanksgiving sale. This was VERY SIMILAR to other similar items in home depot, lowes, sears, walmart, amazon etc. So, I thought I would go with Lowes. 3 days after the order, they send me an email that the order is delayed. Then after 2 more days, its delayed again. It has a new possible shipping date. Its been a week since the shipping date, so out of curiosity I check online and ITS CANCELLED. No notification, no nothing. Of course, no one has that item on that price anymore. So, I am upset, I call the customer service and she tells me that the item is out of stock and hence the STORE cancelled it. She says, its the store who cancelled it and she has no power over it. Its LOWES for heaven's sake. As a customer, I dont care who cancelled it. ANd guess what, I checked quickly and the store has the item in stock now...:) so I go to her supervisor, he says the same thing. When I point it out that the item is at the store, he says the site might be out of date...HAHA.. I really felt like I should buy the same item at expensive item for the sake of it...:) He did find the order at some other store and shipped it, but all of this took anxious waiting, following up on my part and raising my voice to the customer service. This is NOT worth it. My personal conclusion is, I will stay away from Lowes. read more

This is the best Lowes location in the area. Whether it's buying something as mundane as furnace filters or shopping for major appliances, these people are always great to work with. Service is fast and they have day as well as evening delivery on large items. Their drivers even call from their route to let you know they're about 30 minutes out, so you don't have to feel like you need to stay home all day and wait for them. Makes you wonder other companies can't do that. read more

Our visit started off with a return which again went quite smoothly considering we didn't have the receipt. We then headed over to mom and garden. To make a long story short Scott B and Donna saved us probably over 150 dollars as well as a tremendous amount of time by taking the time to review our home improvement project and guide us on the best way to do our install. When we approached them they were in the middle of using the forklift but stopped to ask if we needed anything, and then came over to show us what we were looking for and then took another 20 minutes to review our project. My washer blew and I have three kids u see two so I needed one as fast as possible. I got to Lowe's with kids in tow so I'm on limited time before they lose it. The guy in appliances was swamped. This guy Rhine came to help us out and he had us signed up to have a washer delivered next morning. Super quick and easy and educational on which to choose. Not only did the washer come perfectly on time next morning they also hauled out the old one. The two guys who delivered and installed were FANTASTIC! Wish I got their names. Honestly a seamless transition and worth every penny. read more

I was advised by two other Lowe's that the Apex location had a certain type of Christmas lights in stock. Upon arrival I couldn't find them but Cindy tried to assist me. She said that I was too late and they had been sold out since Black Friday. When I asked about the quantity listed on the website she said that it's not accurate it's only for those who purchased online. I asked them why it's listed if they are already purchased. She said that technically Lowe's is just a lumber store and that's all that they definitely stock and to not count on what's listed online. Went in during their huge Memorial Day sale. They had GREAT deals. The washer and dryer set I wanted was over a $400 saving!! Kent helped me and was extremely knowledgeable about all the sets and trust me, I had plenty of questions. He was very sweet and patient. He wanted me to check other stores closer to my house in Raleigh before purchasing in Apex. This lead me on a wild goose chase because the 2 Durham stores would say they had what I was looking for, but didn't and the Raleigh location didn't have it either, even though their inventory said they did. The set was even sold out online. After a week of searching, I ended up going back to Apex and told them I needed to purchase from them. My dad was able to call the store and pay over the phone which was a huge plus!! The cashier told me that the 10% coupon wouldn't work on my purchase. After numerous calls, I finally contact a manager who ended up telling me the coupon would have worked and refunded me that 10% difference. Delivery was a week out which was fine. The delivery guys called to confirm that I would be home in an hour. They weren't the friendliest, but did a great job with the hook up of the set. I am very satisfied with the washer and dryer set I have. Recent experience: Their saw was broken and was told to come back in 2 days, I did, but it was still broken. The following week, I called to see if it was back working and was told yes, so I went on my lunch break that day to find out it was actually still broken!! Luckily, Home Depot was right up the street. read more

We, like Carol from Cary, ordered 3 appliances from this store that we purchase everything possible from. Order was placed on 7/6/14 to come be delivered on Aug 10th......August 10th we were told they only had 1 of the 3 appliances, and were expecting the other 2 to be delivered on August 25th...August 25th they have 2 appliances but are waiting on the 3rd, which is expected Sept. 17th. Lowes is "holding" the above range LG microwave and LG double oven range(in California) until they get the LG dishwasher. WHAT????? Our credit card was charged for these 3 appliances they day they were ordered, so they are quick to get their money, but not deliver their products. And forget trying to talk to some one about this.....I am so very disappointed with this "customer" care. read more

Terrible customer service. I placed an order in the store and when it didn't show up as promised I contacted the store to find out it was on back order. I was given another date 3 weeks later and then later told they couldn't promise that either. I complained to customer service via website and was promised a call by the Beaver Creek store manager and others but neither never called. I have since ordered from Home Depot and the parts have been delivered and the price much lower (even after the 5% discount promo if using the Lowes Credit Card). Do your self a favor and shop the other big box store. read more

This store is really "weird". Sometimes the service is great; other times not so much. Today I got someone who didn't know how to run the register. The manger was down right rude to both of us. Never have a problem with items not being in stock, but trying to find a sales associate to help me is awful. And sometimes they're friendly; sometimes not. Worst customer service by a STORE manager ever! Not only was a special order refrigerator improperly delivered and therefore we were out a refrigerator for a month while they reordered and then tried to figure out how to deliver, but he never bothered contacting us to apologize . We called and instead of giving us an apology without excuses confessed he really didn't know the details of our situation. The delivery date was rescheduled more than a couple of times! I asked for a discount on my purchase and he continued to ignore my request. I will NEVER purchase an appliance from this store. The store manager should be embarrassed by his lack of store involvement and his handling of our troubles with his store knowledge and delivery of appliances. read more

I have been trying to get flooring quotes, installs and customer service since 8/13/16, I have gotten the complete run around. Home Depot here I come! I ordered a grill online yesterday so i could just run in and pick it up. Nope. I had received an email saying it was ready 24 hours ago. But today nobody in seasonal would pick up. The customer service desk was completely short staffed, and I waited 20 minutes for him to FIND my grill. Then he says do you need help putting it in your car? Ummm yes, of course I do. Well, he says, looks like it's just me so I don't know how we can get it into your car laying down. Ok at this point I've had enough. Asked for a refund and the girl working with him tried to argue with me! Apparently the customer is NOT always right??? read more

Horrible customer service. Unknowledgeable people working at customer service desk. Returned carpet sample that I was charged to take from the store. Took employee 53 minutes to figure out how to give me my money back. I purchased carpet after they sent someone to measure the bedroom at my home. I emptied closets and other items for scheduled installation day. They arrived with carpet and refused to install due to my large furniture which they saw when measuring bedroom and charged me additional charge for moving them. Left without installing carpet and refused to move furniture. It took two phone calls and finally a trip back to the store to get my money back. Never buy carpet there! read more

I'm a huge Lowes fan. My mom just moved to Apex, and we checked out this location. Staff was helpful for the most part - we purchased some appliances. The problem is the store set-up. It's a huge cluster - ladders, carts, oddly placed displays making it really hard to get around. It wasn't even that busy, and people are bumping into each other and having to wait with their carts to get through the aisles. We were eager just to get the heck out of there. This place needs to be straightened up with some consideration to a more pleasant shopping experience. Until then, we'll just keep hitting the Morrisville location. read more

Don't ever deal with this Lowes if you are buying granite counters. They did not give the correct order to the granite company and it was impossible to get anyone to respond to calls or visits. The lady involved had just lost her husband and was left for over a week without use of her water but Lowes did not care. Terrible experience! They ripped up my carpet, molding, vinyl, then told me the job would cost another $2,000 for very minor unevenness on the flooring. The installers had checked for unevenness first, then ripped up without informing me of the consequences, then told me about the additional charge. Then they did not have new stock need to finish the job, refunded what they had charged me, said "Oh, so sorry" and walked away. Right now my home is in a mess, furniture in the garage, counters piled with buffet stuff, floors all ripped up. Not this should matter I guess, but i am a single retired grandmother. read more
