This Lowe's is the best in customer service and care. As a new homeowner I'm here constantly. So far every department I've worked with is stellar! In hardware, Bryce and Pierre have helped me with cabinet hardware. Both have seen to it that my small issues have been ironed out and have gone above and beyond to help me. I've already learned so much from them. The returns department has always allowed me to make my necessary exchanges when I wasn't happy with a product. Anyone on the floor has always asked if I needed assistance and if I had to ask, they were always more than happy to help. Keep it up Lowe's! read more

The store manager here is TERRIBLE! I asked him about a dryer lint filter and he gave me the number to a parts manufacturer??? WTF Lowes carries enough products to BUILD a washer and dryer so I knew that wasn't right. I asked a few floor staff and they took the time to show me where it was exactly. Imagine that eh? So I confronted the store manager about the decrepit level of customer service skills. Then he tried to play it off as though I was talking about an internal dryer part, something completely different!!? REALLY??? If he didn't understand he should have taken the time to t r y to understand instead of giving me the brush off. He spent at least a good 5 mins (that I caught) trying to help the previous customer who was obviously of a higher priority than I. Maybe because I'm not White? Idk... Telephone customer service is TOTALLY NON-EXISTENT. I called about an order I've been waiting on and the computer on the phone told the status exactly as I can see it online which did not help with my issue. I've been selected the option to speak to a customer service person and after listening to the phone ring with intermittent messages telling me someone would be with me shortly, I eventually hung up after 19 minutes on hold. This location have the worst customers service and delivery. After month and half of consistently forgetting to schedule my delivery, sending it to the wrong addresses , coming to my house and claiming they came and forgot the order and will bring it in the next hour, wasting my time just to deliver stocked items, They got so rude and start pointing fingers at other department. I had it with them. Through out the years l spent thousands of dollars at lows but i will never purchase anything thing from any lows any more. This is how companies get out business. So I bought a wireless doorbell system, came with one button, added an additional identical button from the same manufacturer. Got the original working, tried button #2, set up identically to #1: Nope. Returned to Lowe's, got the one button credit, found two more there, asked an electrical assistant to try one out with me. No soap. Tried the other . . . same . . . and noticed that both packages had been previously opened and were taped shut. In fact, the battery in one button was installed up-side-down. (Reversing it didn't help.) Obviously, others had returned the buttons as not working and, instead of discarding them: Lowe's put them back on the rack!!! Waste of time. I love this Lowe's! I went in looking for play sand, and left with a whole new flower set up thanks to John in the garden department. He was the most helpful person I have met! I got home, almost planted the flowers, when I realized that I got flowers that needed sun. My patio is mostly shade. I returned that same day and asked John about this. He told me to give them a shot, and told me about the one year guarantee on flowers. I was so happy with his service, I bought a second flower bed. After less than stellar help at another Lowe's on Saturday 9/15, hub and I popped in here to ask some questions about blinds. The lady working around 5ish pm was SO incredibly helpful. She explained why the blinds we had bought couldn't be cut by them. They didn't have the manufacturer's machine to do it. Makes total sense! She helped us pick out a different set that they could cut for one weirdly sized window, cut them for us and we were all set. I've been shopping here on/off for several years. Sometimes I go to the orange box down the block because they have the DIY stuff I'm looking for that Lowe's doesn't carry, other stuff I buy here that the orange box doesn't have. Went here on last day of Black Friday sale because another store I had been to annoyed me while I was trying to purchase a fridge (see my other recent review) and within the hour we purchased a new fridge, similar specs, for the same price and a full warranty! Shoot, they even gave me my veterans 10% discount, no muss no fuss. Applied for their credit card, no problems, short & sweet process at the Service Desk. Recently they even had a quarterly clearance where everything in the clearance section (all new stuff) was marked at least 75% off. Bonus! And I even got my veterans discount. Lowe's doesn't always have what I need but I don't have issues with customer service. read more

I tried to call this store to find out about a specific paint that I purchased at another Lowe's and the paint department was too busy to tell me if they had it in stock and to try customer service to get help. Tried several times to reach customer service on the phone, no answer. So I decided to drive to the store and take my chances only to find a not very busy store and they were out of the product. It's a shame , I have always found Lowe's to be good for customer service but I'm now seeing Home Depot to be much better. So very disappointed in the delivery system at this store. We had a Sunday delivery scheduled and they called to say they could not make it and asked if they could reschedule to Tuesday. We agreed. Tuesday passed and no washing machine or contact from the store. On Thursday, after no communication from them, called to see what was going on. We were told the second delivery was never entered and basically we were not on the scheduled at all. Now they are saying an additional 6 days. The problem is my elderly mother needs to have her sheets changed daily and this puts us way behind. The mismanagement and lack of communication from this store is not acceptable. read more

About their "Installed Services": Definitely worth the money. I've been in residential and commercial construction for over 40 years, much of it in management, and I know the difference between good work and so-so work, and these folks do top notch work. We bought an 8-year old house in 2005 and I've had Lowe's Installed Services do three chores: 1. Replace all the carpet - their measurements and quantities agreed with mine and they didn't try to sell me a bunch of extra yardage in case their installers screwed up - their installers simply DIDN'T SCREW UP. Carpet was stretched in nice and tight and has been like that for 11 years. Great job #1. 2. Remove sliding patio door and install Double French Door - I can tell you from experience, this job can go really wrong really fast. Not with Lowe's - they did a clean, tight, workmanlike job and I've been 100% satisfied ever since. Great job #2. 3. Replace Attic Stairway - I wouldn't consider giving up my Saturday to DIY for what they charged for this. I looked at the completed installation very carefully since it constitutes a safety issue for my wife and me. The work is tight, solid and clean. They did it exactly as I would have, and that's high praise indeed. Great job #3. Summary: they obviously use subcontractors to do this work, but their subcontractors are absolutely top shelf. The pricing is very fair - consistent with the private construction market. There are 2 reasons to hire someone else to work on your house: 1. You don't know how to do it, or 2. You don't WANT to do it. In my case, it's the latter. If either (or both) of these parameters fit your situation, go see the folks at Lowe's. you'll be glad you did. read more

I am giving this Lowes five stars because of its employees. Specifically Brian, who demonstrated his competence and knowledge regarding driver drills, and who was helpful and polite. WAY beyond what I would have expected at a Lowes store. Give this man a raise! The other great person on the staff was Edith, who assisted me in buying blinds for our home. I cannot give five stars to all of the merchandise -- a Hunter Five Minute fan broke just four months after it was installed. I giving this place another 5 star review for a recent issue that could have gone very bad. I purchased a whole suite of appliances last year on Memorial Day. The appliance department was amazing in holding on to them while we finished building our home. When it came time to deliver them I had to change the date a couple times and in the confusion the date was mixed up. It was urgent that they were delivered on a certain day. When I discovered this I went over early that morning and made a big fuss. Sonia and Miguel were calm and understanding. It took alot for them to arrange my appliances to be delivered that day but they made it happen. The delivery and install went great. Purchased a Bosch tankless water heater at this store and did not install it right away. When I opened the box, I found out the unit had been previously used (extensively - it had calcium carbonate buildup), and it leaked when it was installed. Even though I had a receipt, the store would not give me a refund, stating that they would have never have sold a used gas appliance. Now I'm stuck with a used, broken appliance that was sold as "new". My future appliance purchases will be from Home Depot. Sorry Lowe's, I can't forgive this one. read more

As far as home improvement goes, I will drive past others to shop here. I had an issue that most would have turned away, and left me to deal with on my own, even though a store employee was at fault. Granted, it was an accident, however, not my accident. It did take getting to the first manager's boss, however, all was taken care of. From the purchase to the install, our experience was great! We had done our research, so pretty much knew what we wanted and were prepared to purchase and setup installation. Perry did a wonderful job showing us the dishwasher choices and explaining the few things we had questions about. He setup the installation. That part was very easy (and they price matched for our kitchen faucet). Dennis Moore & Nicholas Mendoza then did an excellent job of installing our dishwasher and motionsense faucet. They were on time, professional and very accommodating (the A/C had gone out the day before, so the A/C guy was still here when they arrived and they had no problem nor comments about working around this). I have decided that Lowes could give a shit less about its customers. Clearly they are not cool corned with their competition from Home Depot for some reason. I bought and buy a ton of stuff from Lowes and Home Depot all the time. Sometimes I have to bring stuff back as we all do. Traditionally I have not had an issue with bringing those things back. Well I went on a search looking for the perfect Holiday lights for my wife, and I don't know if anyone else has the same problem but I literally bought over 20 different lights trying to find the ones that pleased her. I bought probably half of them from Home Depot, some from Target, and others from Lowes. You know you have to move quick at the Holidays otherwise you won't get what you want. Along the way I took those that did not work back and kept those that did. As many of us do we travel at the holidays as well so and I have a busy work schedule too. Finally after getting everything down and put away this year and the garage was cleaned up I realized I had one more set of lights I had not brought back. Well these unfortunately are not cheap sets...I take them back to Lowes and they tell me they will no longer take things back. I was supposed to see signs in there store. Oh! Sorry! I have been traveling most of January and when I am on the road I don't make it a habit of stopping into a Lowes! I understand on the one hand that you cannot take things like trees, or some other things. These were 4 boxes of 25 light stings. Not a huge return, but they inform me that they will not take them back! WTF! I have been told and I am certain I have witnessed people bringing shit back to Home Depot like years later. Home Depot has never questioned a return. One time I complained about an online order issue they made, within an hour I not only got a message but a manager was calling me to rectify the issue. If Lowes doesn't want to fix this dissatisfaction then they do not need me as a client. I am happy with Home Depot and they are willing to treat me like a valued customer. I'll just take my future business, all if it, there. Right now I am so livid with Lowes I fell like I am just writing words! I love doing home projects and spend way too much money at home improvement places to allow myself to be taken advantage of like this. Just beware folks of Lowes underhanded practices of pretending to take things back. Ball is in your court Lowes. Oh and you pissed me off tonight so I went straight to Home Depot and made my purchase tonight...yeah I was going to spend money in your store not take! I even told the manager that! I didn't care I would have taken a store credit! Guess what I found out too when I went there....they would take Christmas things back, of course within reason.
