Went here to look for a freezer for our house and they like most were sold out. There are signs everywhere for everyone to wear masks and observe social distancing with one way in and one way out, they also have plastic sheets between the customers and the employees at the checkouts; however, I saw one employee only covering her nose and one without a mask. Overall it has a good variety of items for you to choose from and helpful staff if you need assistance.

This review is for the Garden section of this store only. Have to give credit where it's due, this section was fully stocked and had a good selection of both flowers and live herbs. Of special note is the recent addition of multi-plant planters. Their rectangular units hold 2 or 3 pairs of flowers or herbs at a decent price. They seem to be understaffed, but I was able to check out without too much of a problem.

    Clearance gloves

My wife bought me a pair of work gloves that were the wrong size. When I took them back, the clerk said I couldn't return them because they were Clearance items. I asked if I could exchange them for a larger size and was told no. The price tag does say "Clearance" in very small print ... anyway, the gloves were unused and still in original packaging, so I didn't expect any problems. The tag says the item was $24.98 and is on sale for $19.97. Not an incredible sale, if you ask me. And I don't believe it's clear that you can't return Clearance items. Anyway, if you see this sticker, you may want to avoid.

I LOVE this Lowe's! I recently moved to Austin and needed to make several renovations to my apartment. The staff at the Lakeline Lowe's walked me through every step/material needed (first time painter here ‍). The garden center was also the largest I've seen at ANY hardware store. Two covered enclosures... one for plants and another for patio furniture. Plenty of healthy plants to choose from at great prices. I bought a 2' fiddleleaf fig tree for $20. Saw the same plant at a nursery for $75 Definitely recommend this Lowe's moreso than others in Austin!

Don't get a Lowe's credit card. My 10% coupon was made invalid because the manager was on lunch break at 6 PM.

10 OUT OF 10!!!...will wander again. :-D…read more Absolutely blown away. Hill Country Water Gardens isn't just a nursery...it's a full-blown botanical mini-adventure. It's the kind of place where you come for a plant and end up staying for the vibes. Think of it as a garden center meets a peaceful mini outdoor museum. Everything is beautifully organized by plant type, making it easy to find what you're looking for...or, more likely, making it easy to get joyfully distracted while you wander. There are cozy benches for daydreaming, koi ponds full of personality, colorful lily pads that pop out and wave at you, and the kind of friendly staff that actually makes you want to ask questions. Inspiration? It's everywhere. From the water features, to the whimsical sculptures, to lush displays that make you rethink your whole gardening vision. There are restrooms if nature calls, and there are plenty of delightful garden goodies to buy/take home. It's rare to find a place that feeds your inner gardener, your creative soul, and your serotonin all at once...but somehow, this place pulls it off. I'm so glad it exists.

There are statues, fountains, and water-dwelling plants. Koi fish and gold fish are available in different sizes and colors. They have potted trees with tags that indicate hardiness in different weather conditions. Herbs and other edible plants have their own section in front of the greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse you can find indoor plants. It's a pretty nice place to walk around and explore. There's not too much shade there, however. The rectangular ponds holding the water lilies also attract dragonflies that zip around there, so it's a nice place to watch them.

After a horrible experience with a big landscaping company in Austin, we met Gaven, who visited our property twice in Liberty Hill and came up with a plan to fix their mistakes and finally help us achieve our goals. He had some great suggestions about what would work, then met us numerous times at Moon Valley's nursery to help us choose the right plants and trees. On the day of our installation, he was there as well, making sure everything went smoothly. After the fact, he followed up with us to make sure we were happy, too. Start-to-finish service - what more could you ask for? As our project expanded over the years, whenever we needed advice for tree or shrub care, Gaven was just a phone call or text away.  I can't tell you how many times he made the trek from Austin to our home. But that's the type of guy he is. He's NOT a salesman looking to squeeze every last dollar out of your pocket. Instead, he's genuinely friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable, always willing to go the extra mile, whether it's helping you choose a $20 rose bush or a $1,500 crape myrtle. Thanks to Gaven's guidance, our property has been transformed into the landscape we always envisioned. We couldn't be happier with the results. He's the reason we remain a loyal Moon Valley customer.
