I got notification my online order was ready for pickup. Next day i go get it. The girl at customer Support immediately flagged my order as being picked up and card charged. She couldn't find my order and said someone else was coming to find it. 10 -15 minutes later a girl comes and can't find it either. After standing there for at least 30 minutes she says it's not picked off the shelf yet. I suggest I'll go pick it, no problem. She said no you can't because your card is charged. I said cancel the charge. She said I can't because we marked it as being picked up. I said can a manager cancel it? The first girl says I am the manager, in a haha sort of way. I said can you cancel this charge so I can go get it off the shelf? She says, "no. it says it was picked up" she's the one who marked it picked up while I stood empty handed and then she proceeded to say "chill the fuck out bro." I'm not kidding. she's less than half my age. Second girl said someone will be picking my order and some others but she doesn't know when. She's looking for him. I'm supposed to stand there and wait who knows how long because my charge can't be reversed. And no one was interested in going to get help. I heard separately that Lowe's employees aren't allowed to use intercom anymore and no walkies. Every time Ive done customer pickup at lowes it was like this. They will hire anyone. I went to my car and called support. This time I got a helpful guy and they brought my order to my car. read more

Curbside pickup here is a joke. Ordered one ratchet set, went to pick it up about 3 hours later, called the number and the extension written on the sign in the parking spot, no answer. Went inside and stood in line for 5 minutes before just walking over to the tools, grabbing the item and going through self-checkout. Tried calling the number again to cancel my order, no answer. Tried again and this time hit a different option, after about a minute of ringing a guy answers. I tell him about my experience, and that I would like to cancel my order, and he just says "Okay, what's your order number?" guess expecting an apology was too much. Thanks for offering a service that is literally NOT even functional, and wasting 20 minutes of my time. read more

We are currently doing a bathroom renovation and have shopped at this store quite a bit lately. It is usually clean and the times I have been, not too crowded. The one thing that impressed me most is the helpfulness of the staff at this location. In this store, the employees are friendly. I have also noticed they consistently have employees that ask if you need help. I have found this lacking at times I have gone to the orange place! I went to this store on Tuesday 08/22 and had just entered the power tool section at the front of the store. I was met by employee "Richard who was working up front in this section, late afternoon. He offered his assistance and left. He must have know I was puzzled, he came back, we talked, I bought a jigsaw and blade set that I had no intention of buying. Customer service is just a sign on the wall. I dropped off a chipper I bought at Lowes' in August 2017 for warranty service. I made 5 (five) trips to the Stassney store, roughly a month apart, spending an hour each time to find out is it was still not repaired. Hector and Kevin are AWESOME. Sunday, May 24 about 3:00 pm. I had been to and left Home Depot because of rude, thoughtless, inconsiderate employees. I felt completely disrespected as a customer, like I was troublesome, at Home Depot, so I told a manager about it and promptly left to go to Lowe's. At Lowe's, Hector and Kevin were so helpful from the time I walked into the door at Lowe's. I could not ask for better customer service. I'm happy with the stuff I got, the price I paid, and the two who helped me. While these are difficult times, a company can experience much more difficulty if they have no customers! Poor customer service with Jesse in Lighting. Husband and I were looking at the ceiling fans and pendant lights for our new home build. Jesse asked if we wanted help and we said no thank you. A minute later all lights turned off in the lighting section. I approached Jesse as he was about to walk away from the lighting section and I asked him if the store was closing because we are looking at lights and they turned off. He said no and walked off. So I approached the customer service desk to please turn the lights back on. Never got the lights back on so we left. We will take our business elsewhere. read more

They offer a curbside option online but no one will pick up the phone in the instructions, so you have to go inside anyway. Then there's a huge line for pickup and only one employee managing the line. It took 30 minutes for her to handle four customers. I asked for curbside because we are out of masks so the whole time I had to wear a t shirt over my face. No good. read more

Went to the garden section and was helped by Benjamin, he was extremely helpful and a really nice person. Was impressed by the customer service . Was depressed by looking at the state of all the plants , mostly dried out and infested . There is only so much their limited staff can do especially with 105 degree weather. Although she was very nice, when I came back from getting the item she had already lost the receipt and told me I never gave it to her and then didn't even go look for it (she had moved the item I was returning over to another section). read more

This is my go to neighborhood Lowe's location. It's easy for me to get to so I find myself here more than other competitor locations. They have just about anything I could need for my home. There are some brands that are only carried at Lowe's just like there are some brands that are only carried at Home Depot. The staff here is friendly and helpful when I need it. As long as I'm a home owner I'm sure I'll continue to find myself in here. read more

I went to Lowes on South IH 35 for potting soil. The organic mix was regularly 12.98 but the sign above indicated a sale at $10.98. When I checked out the cashier charged me for the full price. I told her it was on sale and she said no it wasn't. I asked her to step around her register (there were no other folks in line) to look at the sign which was close at hand. She said, "I'm not going to do that." I said fine, I'd take a picture and show her which I did. She was quite rude when she looked at it and she said couldn't change it. I insisted and she told me I could go inside to customer service. I asked for the manager but was told it would take a long time; however the young woman did apologize for the other woman's rude and unhelpful behavior and did a return and then charged for the correct amount. I appreciated that but I did think the manager should have been alerted to the terrible customer service given by the checker in outdoor lawn and garden. I will not do business in this department again. read more

After four years of dealing with this place, I believe it is finally time for me to leave a review for this Lowe's. I'll start by saying it's right by my house and I have come here many, many times over the years. I won't be back and it is 100% because of the employees and their management team. This is by far the worst Lowe's I have ever been in and that is saying a lot. In the many times i have been here over the years, I would say only about 1% of the time have any of the employees even attempted to speak to me or even make eye contact. Today was the last time for me. I needed a quick in and out to purchase something specific. (No exaggeration) I looked for someone for about 15 min and was passed by about 12 people in Lowe's employee vests. Not one of them did anything but look straight ahead and keep walking even after verbally trying to get their attention. It was like I was in a bad version of the twilight zone and I didn't exist. But of course, I then realized I was in Lowe's and THIS Lowe's in particular. The customer service is just terrible here and it has been for quite some time. . Management IS included in this review. I am not certain if he's the Ass. Manager but his name was Ryan and passed by me enough times for me to see his Name and title on his badge and yet he still wasn't able to acknowledge me. I mean you have to try really hard to not give a crap about your job that bad. To sum it up.. I have had enough of dealing with their employees with bad attitudes and lack of experience/knowledge. Absolutely terrible experience with an online washing machine order. Delivered defunct washing machine; waited on hold for hours trying to speak with someone at the store over 4 days; and then they wouldn't pick up the defunct machine for days so I could not get a new machine delivered. People who answer the phones are completely incompetent and unhelpful. No, I don't want to wait days for a new machine to possibly come into stock and possibly get a 10% discount if I have to call again. read more

Well it's nice to have a Lowe's so near by. It's also nice that a Lowe's is a Lowe's is a Lowe's. It's the 2nd place I've been to in Austin that we have in Orlando. That's comforting in that I get stressed when having to purchase anything at a Lowe's or HD type of store. The bulk of my purchase was in the Garden Dept. I decided to undertake what I thought was a simple task of setting up an herb garden on my patio. I walked out with 100+ pounds of supplies. I give the 3 stars because it's Lowe's - it's good. The people were nice. Nothing to complain about. I don't give it more stars because I am not really sure I needed all the stuff I got and let me tell you what, I almost couldn't unload my car (loading is a lot easier than unloading). Oh and no one offered to help me or my companion to our cars, but they did help other people. Maybe we look really hail and hardy and should be complimented by that fact. Worst service ever. Really. It was bad. This is mostly about the Garden Center. The rest of the store was pretty average. But the Garden Center had the most disinterested group of employees I've ever seen. Yes, it's hot outside. And yes, you work outside at a big box store. But come on, would it kill you to do your job. There are a longish line to check out and some stands were open (but hard to see over people's tree-filled carts). No one said, "Hey, I'll get you over here." Nope, instead they'd wait for someone to figure it out and come to them (and that person wasn't always in the front of the line), which certainly slows things down. When we finally got to the front, some things didn't to ring up properly, and it took forever for them to get the prices. It didn't seem like there was any sort of system in place or that anyone was taking any initiative to actually help people. I'm pretty laid back when places are understaffed or totally swamped. But I don't think that was the issue here. It was almost laughable how bad the service was. Guess that's what I get for going to the big box. Next time, it's a real nursery for us. read more

Heeeeeheee! This girl loves Lowes, just like she loved toy stores as a little girl. Every time she goes, she finds about a billion things she wants. But instead of tugging on her Mom's hand, she tugs on her boyfriend's and looks up at him with big brown puppy dog eyes that say...pllllllease. Unfortunately, just like so many times in toy stores, she is met with a little disappointment at Lowes. The "do it yourself" checkout freezes, every time. All the excitement about her new toys/projects is snuffed out from the frustration of the 20 min it takes to check out! Ok,yes, the check out freezing issue is pretty lame, but I really like this Lowes. It is clean, with friendly staff. Even on a Saturday, it's not over run with people. I made an on-line purchase recently. Last time I did this everything worked well. I went to the store Friday Feb. 13th. Background-my husband got sick from a home repair on Dec. 10th and we have been under tremendous stress since for two solid months. Due to this I try and get in and out of stores quickly since I am close to tears often. The cashier was in training and unable to find the info needed for the order. She finally asked for help from another. She then walkie talkied to the order retriever. Unable to contact them she decides to use the phone. The person on the other end is joking with her and asking for my name over and over. She then hangs up and ask if it ok to say my name as "incorrect name pronunctiation" I say I don't really care how you say my name, thinking I just want to get the item (masks for my husband's face so he can breathe without toxins) and leave. I wait and it has been enough time for the clerk to have brought the item. Meanwhile it looks for a moment like another customer will be put in front of me. I then completely lose my patience and ask for a manager. She calls in one. A slack faced man with his mouth hanging open. He listens to me, I start off rational and explaining and then 2 months of the hell I have been thru come out and I start sobbing and talking about my husband's health and that I just wanted to get in and out. I am shuddering and breathing heavy. Slack face manager walks off after the cashier explains. He walks slowly to the back and comes back slowly a couple minutes later, mouth still open. He hands the item to the cashier and walks away not saying one word to me. I had gotten my composure again and I look at him and I say "Hey Mr. Manager what is your name?" in a loud voice. Slack jaw looks at me with his mealy mouth lack of compassion and depth and says "Ryan". "Ryan," I say "thanks for not apologizing". And I leave. Ryan needs some serious training in customer service. He might need to be demoted since he seems incapable of even the most basic customer service skills, such as clarify the issue verbally, assure the person and apologize, make sure there is nothing else they can help you with, etc. read more

Why I like this Lowe's: 1) They have these little red buttons all over the store you can push for immediate assistance. 2) There aren't any other major chain shops around it, so you don't have to compete for a parking spot. 3) There's a guy who sells hot dogs out in the front, on nice days. 4) I've seen the same manager there for the past two years, and he kind of looks like he might be your grandfather. He'll help you select the right lawnmower. 5) Shannon, their certified nursery specialist, knows a lot about ferns and gardening. I used to think that buying a plant from Lowe's would be a scary endeavor, but it turned out to be okay. Plus, they have a one-year guarantee on any plant or flower you buy there. That's not always true for smaller nurseries. read more

Never buy any appliance or warranty from this store. We have had service called out for our dryer 6 times since Nov 2017. Still making calls for service but getting the run around from Lowes and the repair company. We have a $700 dryer and close to $200 warranty and it is not worth anything. Stay away. Outstanding customer service!! i went there to buy some tiles to replace a row of broken tiles in my bathtub. Usually i buy the tools i need for any project; but since this was a small project and i don't work with tiles that often, i decided to go cheap and use the complimentary tile cutting service they have there. A nice girl that work there cut the tiles for me and she was wonderful. All her cuts were extremely precise and accurate. I even had two tiles that need to be cut in an L shape to go around the faucet and i was afraid that they won't do these cuts since the L shape is not an easy cut; when i asked the girl if she can do it, she said that's no problem. She did the two L shape cuts perfectly, and she even wished me good luck with my project after she finished. Now, that's what i call customer service!! I went into Lowes yesterday to buy some pool shock and a 220 window air conditioner. Well it turns out they only carry one brand of the 220 a/c unit. No selection to choose from. The price was over $600...I knew Home Depot had more of a selection in their store that were cheaper as well. The pool shock was only being sold at 67% pure when they use to sell 99% pure. So I ended up going to Home Depot instead. Not smart to only carry one brand of 220 a/c units. You lost a nice sale. read more

Ordered an item on line and requested curbside. When I arrived followed Lowe's procedure when finally answered said they would get it as soon as they could. Email I received said it was ready for pick up after 20 minutes waiting outside went inside. People in area standing around after waiting come and ask me what I needed. Gave order number then someone goes to back and brings my item. Package was crushed but said contents good and was only item which why I went to this one. I got home checked for damage and was ok so I used item. I noticed it did not have options I paid for. I checked the model number on the box and it was a different model. A lower model that was $ 90 dollars less. The person at Lowe's picked wrong item. I then called them waited on the line for 5 minutes before someone answered. I explained and asked verify they had the model I paid for and she said she would check twenty minutes later a guy comes and asked how he could help me. I said I was talking to a women and waiting to see if item was in stock. He said he was given the phone he came back on said she went to bathroom. Usually Lowe's is pretty good this store is a real disappointment. read more

After being disappointed with the assistance I was getting at Home Depot I came to this Lowes and spoke with Adam. He was very knowledgeable/ professional in helping me get everything I needed for my DIY wood laminate project and I couldn't be happier with my decision along with the great financing options they provided (0% for 24 for over $2k). I'll be coming back to this Lowe's for a future carpet remodel just so I can get help from Adam. read more

I would give this place 5 stars but it's mote than home depot by a few dollars but otherwise rocks. I've always received good CS. I think Santa helped my BF and me out today. He walked us all around for the laundry list of things we needed to get and bad questions a out them all. He was knowledgeable and friendly too. In the past I've also been helped in buying a frig. They delivered and were accomadating on delivery and even when the first one arrived damaged cosmetically they brought a perfect one the next week. After THREE delivery date changes...seriously, 3, we were finally scheduled to receive the dishwasher today between 12-4. It's 7:30...they still have NOT arrived. So we spent ALL DAY today, beautiful day, waiting on the delivery of a dishwasher, and it's still not here. And they NEVER bothered to call to tell us their updated schedule, etc...It's so disrespectful to think that this company has such little respect for their customer's time or schedules. I will NOT be shopping Lowe's again. I am not an Amazon fan, but I will choose Home Depot and Amazon long before I will ever think about Lowe's for anything again. read more

NO STARS. Awful and dishonest. I hand-selected all the trim boards for a big project and paid for and left them with customer service for my contractor to pick up under his name. They PUT MY BOARDS BACK and loaded utter crap boards (warped, defective, cracked) for my contractor passing them off as what we selected. I called customer service and they hung up on me twice. I will avoid Lowe's and tell everyone I know that they should shop McCoy's where they care about customers and their word actually means something. read more

They will match their competitors prices and give an additional 10% off. They also offer military discount to all active duty and veterans. You just need to show them a valid military/veteran ID card. This store is one of two close by Pflugerville. Their staff are always helpful and know the products that they sell here. They have craft shops on scheduled weekends for kids and parents to work together. read more
