I Love Lowe's, however, I am very disappointed with their association with Crume Installation. They use Crume for their appliance installations. I bought a over the range microwave on 1/9/23. Crume couldn't get me scheduled until 2/1. You don't realize how much you use your microwave until it doesn't work. I tried to get moved closer but they wouldn't budge. They said they will put me on the waiting list incase someone cancel's. Big surprise, no one cancelled. I was scheduled from 3-7 pm, seriously 7 pm. At 6:30 the installer called and said he was running late and would be here between 7-7:30 at the latest. 8:00 comes and he is still not here, no phone call. I texted and said don't bother coming it is too late. He then called me and said he was 6 minutes out. I said NO!!! It is too late, but the time he got it installed and left it would be after 9:00. That is ridiculous. No one should have to be available that late and it ended up being a 5 hour window. Needless to say I won't be using this service again. Lowe's should also make it right for my inconvenience. I will tell everyone every chance I get do not use this company. Also, will think twice about buying any more appliances at Lowes. read more

Ordered a dishwasher to be delivered, installed, and have the old one hauled away and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. Charged a $100 fee for delivery, FREE on the website and had to call and talk to 10 people to get that refunded. That not even being the worst part, then having to get ONE person to actually give me an estimate on how much the installation would actually cost when that was listed as free took over 3hrs on the phone. When they were supposed to have this handled they just kept putting me on hold and doing the ring a round with me. I spend my hard earned money to get all new counter tops...expensive! I dealt with Robert in the appropriate department, and he helped me by writing up the work order and setup a time for templates to be measured and formed. He was ok, but that is the only thing about this project that went relatively smooth. Once the man came out to measure the tops and glue templates, we seemed to be on our way. About 4 weeks later I get a call that the granite was cut and ready to install. Once the men got here, late, and knowing that i am at work, they tell my 78 year old mother to pull everything out from UNDER the counters, again, my 78 year old mother!! They proceed to pull out the old counters, including my kitchen sink, then finish putting the tops on. NOW READ THIS...these bone heads refuse to put the sink back in!! Can you imagine...my mother called me and I leave work, arriving at home just in time to hear these guys say the were afraid they might break something in the reinstall of the sink. Apparently they didn't have any brains to know that they could have broken something when they WERE TAKING IT OUT!! DUH! You morons! I had to call 2 plumbing companies to get the sink back in, an additional $200 on top of whatever I paid for Lowes to do it in the first place. I will never give this store my business again! And, I will tell anyone who will listen, not to give their business to them either! read more

It's convenient to my home location, most of the employees are helpful and friendly when you can find one. They offer a 10% military discount with proper ID. Apparently every time a phone rings or someone asks a simple question that gets prioritized ahead of just simply retrieving my grill. Today I decided to go to the store because the store in my community didn't have what I needed. Upon arriving I asked a gentleman for help, he disregarded me and told me that I should approach another associate that works in the same department which seemed like he didn't want to help at all. When the other gentleman came over to speak to us by the name of Donovan, after telling us to wait, then decided to ask why we wouldn't take the box that was already there as opposed to the one that we wanted which was sealed brand new. He made it clear to us that it was going to be quite bit of a week because the other ones that were available were in the back and he would need 2 to 3 other guys to help him bring it down, coercing us to take the one that was already down and available with the open box. I felt his aggressiveness in the situation when he made it clear that he didn't wanna have to go back there to pour any boxes and how he continuously encouraged us to take the one that was there already, until he quoted and said are you gonna take this one or not?! Then I proceeded in asking him that I felt his hostility why would he continuously recommend something I said to him I was not interested in buying? He made it clear to me at that point that the conversation was over and then there was nothing else to talk about his words verbatim, and unfortunately that to me is horrible experience in customer service. He made it very clear that the conversation was over by repeatedly saying, and I called the conversation is over, then proceeded in speaking to another customer that approached him with simultaneously while dealing with us me and my wife made it clear to that customer that he had to wait to speak to him so much so that he also said to the customer in front of us speak I'm listening as he was trying to assist in showing us an open box item. This is the reason why I don't bother coming to the store or dealing with those. I'd much rather continue doing my business with Home Depot because I've never gotten this type of customer care there, Lowes should be ashamed of them selves for having this type of customer service acting as if they stand for great customer care when they can't even simply have someone there to take care of their customers the correct way when a customer needs them. But this won't be the end of this conversation because I'm taking this all the way up to corporate that individual even after the fact of saying what he said to me and walking away, he made it very clear to us that there was no repercussions or consequences to his actions, made it even more of a point to follow me throughout the store to then say have a good day sir when clearly he was patronizing both me and my wife daughter visit at the store when we approached his manager. His manager Bobak, not sure if I'm pronouncing that correctly but he also made it clear to me that he had an issue with approaching us when the customer care representative reached out to him about the scenario over the phone and I can tell from her conversation with him prior to him approaching us that he had an issue with coming in speaking to us about the issues we were having at his store that in itself is a problem if I can't reach out to a manager at your store about a problem I'm having there or the customer service representative that works for the store has an issue respond contacting the manager that is there, how will this ever get resolved? It won't the problem will process the employee obviously will get his way at the patronizing us and making it very clear that he was not in any regard trying to help us. I tried calling corporate office to no avail, the same corporate office that has the worst reviews I've ever come across for a business in a franchise as big as Lowe's. After calling them to try to make it clear to them what was going on at their store they disregarded my car sent me over to a different transfer me over to a different department and then those people transferred me over to another store almost like throwing me to different stores so that I don't make this complaint, this was a horrible experience I wouldn't recommend the store to anybody, but if you're looking to have a really bad day this is the way to start coming to this store on Causeway Boulevard and dealing with the manager or that individual named Donovan, black man with gray hair gray beard, heavyset with an attitude like a female 852, maybe he has too much estrogen or female traits that he felt the need to patronize us while we were trying to shop, I don't know yes. I do know that I will not be going back to that store again and I'm going to make it my initiative to make sure my complaint doesn't get unheard or unseen and that there is some type of discipline for his actions today because if I am a customer and I'm taking time to write this, I can only imagine the amount of customers that didn't bother doing so and that he insulted or may feel very uncomfortable. read more

My friend and I went to this Lowe's to buy a stove . After looking at the flat top selection , my friend decided on one she liked. We were approached by a man by the name of " Jason" in the appliance section. He told us we couldn't buy that stove. They didn't have anymore and the floor model could not be sold to us , because it was not on clearance. That just didn't make any sense to us so we went up to the front to consult with the manager. Shawn , The assistant manager was more than willing to help us to get The stove that my friend wanted. He was extremely helpful and professional and it really made up for the Jason experience. I always come to this Lowes to get my water. Its the only place I've found that sells the Primo water. We've had 4 different bottled water tested (5 gallon ones) and this Primo brand came out in top! Very good tasting water. I usually come and get between 6-9 of these 5 gallon water and they will last about a month or so. If you bring in the empty bottles they will do and exchange and charge you for just the water ($5.99 for a 5 gallon its not bad at all), if you are a new purchaser they will charge you for both the water and bottle for a total of somewhere around the $12.00 (not 100% sure about the accurate pricing). One thing you will notice is that the machines outside Lowes that takes the empty Primo bottles are about 80% of the time non working. Most of the time it wont print out the tickets (exchange tickets) or they will be too full, or wont open up to take the bottles. In those cases just go inside the store (leave your bottles next to the machine) and tell them you brought in X amount of bottles and just crab the bottle you need. So far (5 yrs purchasing from this location) they have not given me any problems and just ring me up. So big plus to this store and also Primo water. read more

Lowes: Lowering my anxiety level tenfold! My fiancé and I are in the process of purchasing a house. As fun, cute, and amazing as this process is, it is almost as stressful as diffusing a bomb while a monkey pokes you in the face with a stick. This past week alone I've dragged my fiancé to Lowes about four times (not counting the times I wish we could go at 1am because I can't sleep at night worrying over matching my Jubilee tile with my Dazzle Blue paint). While pacing the same 4 steps in front of the paint samples section holding up six different shades of yellow, William, a Lowes employee sits by my side. Calmer than Buddha mid-meditation, he guides me through the paint section process. He asks us engaging questions about our new home to better help us decide on our new paint. (Apparently there is more to paint than just picking a color!) He listens to my parade of questions and honestly answers them. At the end of the night, we walked out of there with the right amount of paint samples and the knowledge needed to help us finish our project. Most importantly though, when I left, I was much calmer. Employees at Lowes, especially William, care. By making my life a little easier, Lowes has made a lifetime customer out of me. read more

I really really hate the plumbing department at this location. Had to go get a toilet and install ordered. Had to go back because the toilet didn't fit the space. I have had numerous bad experiences here. First time, I purchased a new garage door opener and installation for my new house. After install the opener, keypad outside the garage, and button inside the garage worked flawlessly, but the remotes were hit or miss. It took 9 months of calling to complain before a tech was finally sent out. He said the unit was bad and we needed a new one. Lowes instructed me to take it up with the manufacturer for a replacement. I spent 2 months dealing with the manufacturer and getting nowhere. A manager at Lowes finally ordered me a new unit and after another 3 weeks the new unit was installed. The new unit is the same as the old, for some reason the remotes only work 50 percent of the time. Now Lowes refuses to do anything because I am outside of my 12 month warranty. After that experience I swore off Lowes, but received a giftcard to Lowes for Christmas. I decided to use it for paint and went in to purchase more of the paint I had previously bought at Lowes. I was told that even though I provided the paint swatch which I previously used to get paint from Lowes that the color may not be an exact match without having the can from the last time painting. Luckily I save everything, so I went back with the can in hand. I spent 5 minutes waiting for help and nobody acknowledged me, so I went to customer service. She paged someone to help. I waited another 5 minutes and nobody came. Several employees walked passed me and did not offer help. I went back to customer service and she again paged for help. Another 5 minutes went by and nobody came to help. I then noticed a button at the paint station which customers can use to call for assistance. I began repeatedly pressing this and about 3 minutes later an associate came up and said "pressing the button like that is not going to make me come any faster". I told him I was waiting there over 15 minutes for help and was upset. He replied that he was outside getting carts in preparation for closing time. I asked why he was doing that at 7:15 when closing time was not until 8. He had no answer. I then spent another 10 minutes checking out because no cashiers were open, only the self-help resigters. I asked the girl helping people self check-out why no casheirs were working and she said someone called out so she was there alone. Home Depot customer service blows Lowes away. I will never step foot into Lowes again. AVOID LOWES! Save yourself the trouble and go to Home Depot. read more

I arrived at Lowe's on Causeway Blvd in Brandon FL on Friday evening October 9th to purchase several major appliances, totaling well over $2500.00. The manager, TJ, indicated to me that my $500.00 discount code would apply to orders over $2499.00 since the promotion did not expire until Oct 21. After waiting well over 30 minutes for someone to help me in appliances, finally TJ himself showed up to help. I quickly pointed out my desired washer, dryer, range, microwave, and refrigerator. It took TJ over 30 minutes to put in the order. Then we went to the register, and my $500 discount would not scan on the computer. TJ said I had bought the wrong appliances for the promotion. Why hadn't he told me that an hour ago. TJ refused to override the system, saying that I would need to select different full price appliances, which was not true according to the ad. However, to be cooperative, I agreed to go back and select different appliances so I could apply my discount. TJ refused, looked at his watch, and said it was too late! But I was there an hour before closing time, and patiently waited 30 minutes to be helped! Flabbergasted at this very low level of customer service, I said "have a good evening" and walked out. What a horrible experience this was. I would not recommend this store for appliance purchase. Earlier this summer, I ordered a dishwasher. It took two months to arrive, it was sent to the wrong address, and it arrived in black. I ordered white. I should have known better than to go there again. You can't make this stuff up! read more

so its been near a year so i figure ill give lowes a chance as they are right next to my house but i drive to Home depot since i like care free shopping with out the B.S.. so im working on a big project for a neibor and i run out of sand paper,small amount of paint and a paint scraper. now keep in mind i got to home depot twice a week without an issue ever. i could use the last bit of light for the paint to finish drying so it will be done tomorrow. so i run out the house and go to lowes to make my life a little easier. so i go in i spend a solid 20mins matching the paint up perfectly. get my paint get my scrapper and sandpaper with some other misc tools im impulsed for. so i go to the counter rings up most the stuff then the paint. i need my id. i forgot it since it was a quick run to the store. now if i looked 15years old i would understand but i have a beard to my chest. and look well over 21 even though u only need to be 18. i buy paint ever week from home depot i never see the same ppl and ive never been ID for paint because i look old enough. the the cashier ask me if i was driving and by law i should have my ID on me. are you F*cking kidding me. first you say you wont sell it to me to leave with by law you should have it with you. what a B*itch. im a nice guy but its just crazy how i cant go to this place without an issue.
