Lowes is perfect for plants and maybe tools. However, Never use them for installation of anything. They use a 3rd party for installation and tell you if there is a problem with the installation, they have a team to help you. Their so-called team is nothing but a answering service for the installation company. I purchased a stove, refrigerator and range hood which I had installed. While they were installing the range hood they damaged my brand new stove. They asked to repair it which I replied with a hard NO. I not paying for a damaged stove. 3 weeks later Lowes installation team is still waiting to hear from the company who installed it. If Lowes really cared about their customers and stood behind their installation process, they would have replaced my stove right away. read more

I came to Lowe's today to return some flooring. The return process was extremely simple and quick. I went back to the flooring department, where a gentleman name. Linn helped me decide what flooring would be best for our project and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He then came across the parking lot to help me load up my car, even though he was on his lunch break. Overall, all the employees I have met here have been wonderful. Attempted to purchase a washer and dryer 11/17/23 with delivery date of 11/21 if we purchased by Monday 11/20. Went back in 1120 ordered everything necessary and was told at that point would not be delivered until 11/28. I received multiple emails and text saying that it was going to be delivered on the 28th. Evening of the 27th. I received a call saying that it was not going to be delivered on the 28th that the washer was not in stock. The associate told me he would call me back the next day and let me know what else was going on. I heard nothing. I went back into the store on the 29th to try to figure out what was going on. Come to find out the whole transaction was rang up incorrectly. The original associate had never requested it to come from the distribution center. I was in Lowe's for probably about an hour and a half getting it all straight and left there feeling pretty good with a delivery date of Saturday, December 2. Thursday the 30th I received an email stating that my delivery had been confirmed for Sunday, December 3. I called the store just to check since I was supposed to be on schedule for the second and I'm struggling believing anything they say at this point. And I guess I really needed to check to see if they even deliver on Sunday. The associate in the appliance department that answered the phone said no we don't deliver on Sunday they'll probably deliver it on Monday. I said probably delivered on Monday. We hung up and I called back and spoke to someone else. Finally got to someone who halfway knew what they were doing and she said that they do have a third-party that delivers on Sunday so at this point, the washer and dryer are supposed to be on schedule for Sunday the third. Fingers crossed. I would almost doubt very seriously that it's going to happen but we'll see. Bottom line if you can't purchase it and carry it out the door yourself; Just walk away. I can be pretty sure they don't care. But that will be the last appliance we buy from them. read more

Horrible customer service this morning! We purchased several major appliances here in June and July. The Maytag washer just stopped working. 3 months old. It took forever to get anyone on the phone at Lowe's and I was told we have to contact the manufacture. 1 hour wait time there on the phone or 20 minutes on line...still waiting. Did I say we purchased this item from Lowe's and they are absolutely no help. Even though we also purchased extended warranty coverage from them. Why are we having to deal with a broken 3 month old washer and why do we have to deal with the manufacture? I happen to be in North Carolina visiting family for the holidays and decided to check out Lowe's to see if they had any tools to get it off. Wanda, you are a lifesaver. I spent around $1500 here in a week, updating a house. There are employees everywhere. In other stores, I've been tempted to light up a big fat cigar simply to get some attention, but not here. Rather than door greeters that some chains have, this one has a 'roamer' who just walks around asking if you need help finding stuff. I, along with several friends, avoided this store due to ongoing issues with customer service. I recently decided to give it another try when my central air went out and I needed a window unit to get through a weekend heat wave. I was greeted immediately by a smiling associate named George. He escorted me to the right department and used his personal experience to help me choose the best option. He then loaded it into my car for me. Later that day, I returned to pick up an accessory and found a very helpful lady (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name) who was equally accommodating. Even the young cashier was friendly and thanked me for my purchase as I was checking out. Perhaps management has listened to the complaints and decided to correct the problem. Regardless of the reason, I'm happy to say I've finally had a positive experience here. read more

This is my store of choice but that is about to change. I served my country for many years. I'm done with all the comments about the military discount. I showed two ID's from the department of defence and I was told we cant use them. WOW. both showed, branch, dates of service, my picture, etc. The discount was put in place from lowes. Not the employes in that store. If the company offers a discount then the employees need to follow thru. It's not the employees discussion to give or refuse this earned discount. I drove over an hour to this Lowes because it had everything I needed in stock. The cashier who checked me out was less than cordial. In fact, he half rolled his eyes upon seeing us come up with a cart full of stuff. We spent $350+. Once we got home, we discovered not only was the cashier not friendly, he was incompetent. He left everything he rung up and bagged out of our cart. We called the store 9 times before I finally got someone, and that's because I asked to speak to someone in a department and not customer service. The nice lady in home decor hooked me up so I could speak with the manager who said he found the bag which said it was left. HELLO...IT WAS LEFT BECAUSE YOU LEFT IT OUT! Now, I get to drive back an hour there and back to retrieve it. The manager said he'd refund me 20% of the price of what was left out. I don't think that will even come close to the 1/2 tank of gas it's going to cost me. From now on, I'll check myself out and not count on the moron man who needs to find another job. Recently purchased a Pit Boss barbecue at the Coeur d'Alene, ID Lowe's. My wife and I purchased two items at Lowes, a rug and a Pit Boss. In purchasing the barbecue we had excellent service from John Reed who explained the function of the Pit Boss barbecue. He was very knowledgeable in explaining the functions of the Pit Boss. After we checked out I realized that I couldn't possibly load it into my pickup. Employees Mike and Steve loaded the Pit Boss into my truck and helped me secure it. After arriving home, my wife and I realized we couldn't unload the Pit Boss from the truck. I returned to the store to see if I could get assistance. I was willing to pay extra if that's what it took. Employees, Mike and Steve from Seasonal Dept. offered to follow me home and assist with unloading the Pit Boss. They were very professional. Even though there are other stores closer to my house than Lowe's I have now decided to do my shopping at Lowe's located at 901 West Apple Way. read more

I like the products they sell but the customer service is terrible. Order curbside pick up and they NEVER answer the phones when you call for pick up. Order online, go in to pick up the product and you may wait 30 minutes while they look for the product. Now with masks required in all stores, don't expect everyone to be wearing them here. Employee stationed at front of door with supply of masks and people walking by her without masks and not being spoken to. I only shop here when I have no other good options. HORRIBLE customer relations. I ordered flooring on July 26th and was told it would arrive on August 2nd. On August 3rd I found out it was never ordered. Finally received the flooring on August 9th, only to find out they ordered the wrong flooring. Decided not to reorder, and settled with what I had. However, they did order the correct transitions, but they were not compatible with what I had. It is now August 25th and I am still dealing with trying to get the correct transitions. One ASM, Ryan, has promised multiple times to call me with updates but has not. I have had to go to the store to find out what was going on. I was told this past Wednesday the store manager would call me Friday morning. I never received that call. I cannot move in to my house because the floors are not finished, causing me to pay rent, a mortgage, 2 electric bills, I had to cancel my movers and lost that deposit, as well as a deposit for a personal matter. read more

The friendliest and best looking staff I have encountered at any box store. The staff is very attentive and knowledgable. If the employee that helped me didn't have an answer he called someone who did. I didn't get pointed towards what I was shopping for like most places. All the managers have always been very pleasant to deal with as well (and that can be very trying at times when dealing with the public).. most of my dealings have been with Robert and he could not have been a nicer person, he went out of his way when we have an issue with an appliance..He always returned my phone calls (and there were several ) but he was always very nice and made sure everything was taken care off.
