I've gone in there numerous time and try to get a military discount / disabled veteran discount and I'm told that I had to go online to set that up. We utilized the services here last year for a complete remodel on our new condo & while the work was completed and we are happy with the choices "we" made, (appliances, flooring, bathroom, etc.) it was incredibly expensive. Without going into detail, the early sales deals we thought we'd get on flooring, we did not because of some botched scheduling decisions. The remodel went over budget $11,000. So, yeah, not going to be working with Lowe's again. read more

Attention Veterans: This Lowe's does not honor discounts to all Veterans as they will not accept a dd-214 or any discharge paperwork you present but will only honor the discount to those Veterans with a Photo I.d. card from the VA. As we Veterans know, unless you have needed Medical attention from the VA. You are not issued a photo I'd. What I find silly is that to proof our service to the VA we are required to only present the dd-214. I love that during the day lowes always has helpful employees ready to serve. I just went in after hours at 6pm and needed some wood cut. They couldn't find anybody to help. I had to keep asking and waiting for an hour. The first person said wait and I'll get someone in a bit. I waited 30 minutes and asked the next person who said they couldn't find anyone. The guy that was supposed to help called out, but they had someone in another department who could help after he was done with his current customer. After another 30 minutes of waiting I went up and asked again but the shift had changed and it was a new person who didn't know someone was waiting for a cut. She also said the person had called out who was supposed to help but she,Traci, found Chase in another department who finally came to help. Chase was phenomenal. He is an asset to Lowes. Personable, helpful. He followed us to checkout and personally checked us out. Then he offered to help me fit it all in my car! His service ended up making this an enjoyable experience. Oh and as he was checking our lumber out, the employee that supposedly called in, walked back in from his break over an hour later. And no one knew where he was? Thank you Chase for serving over many departments when Lowes is short staffed in the evenings. read more

I have been trying to get a refrigerator delivered since Saturday. There is zero customer service here. They do not want to help you. They do not call you back. I am pretty much begging for help. I would not recommend this Lowe's to anyone. They need new management and employees that like their job. All they do is pass the buck to another person to help. I have come into this store twice to get items for a project and when I try to ask questions everyone is rude & acts as if they are not there to help! First time I wanted to know how far back the MyLowes card kept information since there was a specific paint I was looking for that I used years ago. The lady there said "that's ridiculous, we don't store that type of information" Secondly, we went in last night to speak with someone about purchasing cabinets to make an island in the kitchen. Again, the gentleman had no interest in helping us and kept referring us to the "stock cabinets" I did not want stock cabinets because I did not want to do it myself. I was more than willing to pay the extra cost to order exactly what I wanted and also custom counter top. I drove to Lowe's last night after looking on the computer to check the hours. The computer said Monday through Saturday 6am to 10pm. I arrived at the store at 8:58pm and was asked to leave after walking in the door by the staff. They told me the hours had changed and they now close on weekdays at 9pm. What a bunch of baloney! Nothing good about the Garden Department today. Had to enter through the main door and navigate to the garden department. Not a single cart in sight. Plants were wilting in front of my eyes. Employees bring carts in and taking them inside the store. One check out cashier on duty for as many as 10 loaded down customers. After checking out, drove my car to the loading area and all pallets of mulch were shrink wrapped; not an employee in sight. I had to use my own knife to cut through the plastic. As I was loading a pleasant Loews employee approached and helped load the car. When I drove out I notice the outside cart stand was spilling over with returned carts and no one bring them inside. read more

This Lowe's was once my go-to store for home appliances. I've bought washers, dryers, refrigerators, electric stove tops, microwave ovens, dishwashers, pretty much every major appliance other than the oven. And while there have been a few delayed deliveries, generally they were a four-star place with which to do business. In the last 6 months, I've found myself in this store to purchase a new refrigerator, new microwave, and new dryer. Each order has required multiple phone calls and store visits to find out why the charges on the credit card do not match our paper receipts and why the order isn't delivered on the promised day. You cannot rely on anything the Lowe's website says regarding the stock. The website will inform you they have things ready for pick-up. In reality, they don't. I'm not sure this store actually has any in-stock appliances. Nothing in-stock, fine. You reset your expectations, and accept that delivery will take 5 days--that seems reasonable. On day 5 you call in, and are informed there has been a delay in shipping. It will take another 5 to 6 days for the store to receive your appliance. On day 11 you call the store and no one can find any record that you have purchased an appliance. You have to physically present your receipt for them to even acknowledge the order. So they again, type away on the keyboard and give you new paperwork for a new shipping that will arrive in 6 to 11 days. You hold your temper, the employee has no control over this and is trying to make things right. 28 days after originally visiting the store you give up on whatever appliance you were trying to order. Cancel that order and tell me what you can have here this week! I'll bring a truck and drive it home myself. Oh boy, canceling orders is fun. So now, not only do they not properly credit back your credit card. No, that would be too easy. Now you have a duplicate charge on your credit card. Credit card companies grow very suspicious when you keep buying dryers and put a fraud lock on your card. So you get to talk to your bank and straighten out that mess. The refrigerator took 7 weeks in total to get replaced. The microwave fortunately only took a whole weekend with me in the store each day for an hour while they tried to find the "in-stock" microwave. The dryer, well I still don't have that. I've got 3 charges on the credit card for it, but still no dryer and it's not clear if I'll ever get it. It's all so disappointing. When I bought my first dryer here, it stopped working after 28 days and they managed a next-day replacement. It was amazing. I promised Lowe's all my future business. But that was 12 years ago and today, Lowe's is not that company anymore. I don't know where I'm going to buy my next appliance. But I do know it won't be Lowe's. read more

I stopped by to buy a window a/c unit for my house, ask the girl at check out what the warrant was she sad store was 90 days then after that you had to call the manufacturer the covered the rest of warranty of 9 months . I sad ok took the unit home install it that day, 5 weeks latter it quit working, took the unit back up to customer service in Lowe's to get another one . They told me they would not exchange the unit because it was over 30 days and I had to call the manufacturer to get it fixed . I told the customer service lady when I bought the unit the cashier told me I had 90 day she said sorry she couldn't. I asked for a manager and was told the same thing ( o and by the way the customer service lady told me they didn't take them back during summer because some people would come in at the start of summer buy a unit then bring in back at the end of summer ). I told her I didn't want my money back I wanted a working unit. So I left. I have been a loyal customer of Lowe's for over 15 years bought everything from they rarely ever went to Home Depot! But after this happened and I had to go home to a hot house I will never set foot in another Lowe's !! Home Depot will be my go to store from know on !! By the way I went on line to check Lowe's warranty it spelled out a lot of items that were only 30 day returnable and a/c units weren't on the list !!! read more

Went into Lowe's looking for an inverter to use at tailgating. I was highly pleased with the level of service from store personnel. A team member saw us looking at the aisle markers looking for products. He approached us and then walked us to the product. He took the time to explain the difference between the models and answer our questions. This was definitely the BEST level of service I have experienced at any big box retailer. HIRE CHECK OUT PEOPLE, or fix ALL of the self check out machines. What a joke. One register open on a Saturday afternoon, half a dozen people in line. Four self check out machines, one down completely, one unable to print receipts and one unable to read credit cards...so basically ONE self check machine working on a Saturday afternoon with another half dozen people in line and the attendant was less than helpful or cared. Bought carpets and installation ($7000) Installers stained the carpet with dirty shoes , left the job after one day to be back next morning Following day came back to tell me they need to finish other jobs and wont be able to finish up my house! Talked to the manager, who promised me to look into the situation, but never called back! Suddenly after two days Loews came back with a different crew to finish up the mess. They also overestimated the amount of carpet needed for the job, and simply hauled away the 170 sq ft of new/extra carpet with the promise to refund!!! Never got a dollar back , because carpet was not in one piece! Do not use them, they do a really bad job and have the worst customer service I have ever seen! Will never go back! read more

We walked in 5 minutes til 7pm and right after we walked in some lady said "we're closing." The door says 8pm, Google said 8pm. We asked and she said they changed the hours today. You would think they would give a little grace since most customers wouldn't know...but nope. One minute later, the announcement over the intercom said "We are now closed. Team members please check your area and aisles and direct any customers to the registers. The last register will be shut down in two minutes." That manager lady didn't give a damn, we felt rushed, and a lot of customers were confused and as we were all ushered out, some told her, "look the hours are posted here...says 8pm. wth?" I think they shouldn't change the hours until they are posted correctly. So, we just left, obviously, no purchase. Overall, very rude and no customer care. read more

If I could give it a half star I would - this entire store is a disaster. I requested items that they said was in stock them they couldn't find them. So I ordered them - then when I was told they would be delivered they weren't. Then once I go the call that the items were there all of the order was not received. George told me he would refund me the cost of the items that did not ship and I could go to another store and get them there. If I had wanted to shop at the other store I would have in the first place. My advise .... look elsewhere first, then if you still have to go to Lowes so be it. It's a pretty good indicator that a store just doesn't care when the customer service department tells you to visit a store and ask for a specific manager, Kelly in this instance and he doesn't even bother to show up after being paged. My mother in law and some close friends both recently bought appliances from here and were completely hosed after the fact. They both had problems with their appliances but the worst part is that Lowe's wouldn't do anything about it. After taking days off work and being stood up a few times, Kelly obviously not caring they've all be returned by loading them up ourselves in a truck. The worst customer service I've ever seen. Went in today so husband could spend gift card. Cashier was ringing us up and we handed her the gift card but told her one of the items didn't ring up correctly. She continued to enter the card # on the back without comment and told us it was too late, she already put the card info. in and we could just return it if we didn't think it was right. We just stood there with our mouths open. There was another person in line behind us so we went to take a picture of the discounted price, took it to customer service, and had to wait for them to do an overwrite. Ridiculous! There was no apology for our wasted time or trouble. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere, customer service means nothing to them. read more

If I can give this location a no star that would make more sense! I have never seen such horrible customer service! Not one person in that location even bothered to help us. I am not sure how these people still have jobs, they're either sitting on a desk chair chilling, doing absolutely nothing!!! We requested flat beds, at the minimum, make an effort on helping us find a flat beds to haul those tables and chairs we purchased, nope, i guess that was asking for too much!!! No help at all! We did it all on our own!! So much easier to go online, since you're not going to get any help from the staff their regardless, at that location. I know I will never step foot in that store again. I would warn people if you need help with anything you'll have better luck ordering online, at least the customer reps on line are much more knowledgeable. This is the worst customer service I have ever experience. I called 4 times to speak to someone in appliance, I got disconnected twice. After asking for a manager and he finally came on, I was explaining the issue on my refrigerator that we purchase there around July. Told him that is has been a month that it has not worked and Wirlpool has send technicians that they did not even look at the refrigerator and they just made assumptions of what was wrong time and time again. This manager's attitude was the worse, he just asked if we purchase the extended warrantee and is was too late for an exchange. He was talking over me I tried to explain. I had gone to Home Depot to buy Tile and Carpet for my house. I thought well, I will check out Lowes in the Woodlands. I chose to get my tile and carpet from Lowes even though it was cheaper at Home Depot. The service seemed better but when the tile was installed it was a different story. The day the installers came-they told us that we had to go buy transitions before they would start installing. That didn't make sense but we ran to Lowes bought them and took back. The installers again said, no those transitions are incorrect. That night we went back to Lowes and spoke to Trish, who sold us the tiles. She said, they were the right transitions. Trish had to go and show them how to install them. After 4 days the tile was finally laid. However, it was un-even and they had not put mortar under several of the tiles. I went to Lowes 6 times the first week to let them know of the problems. No one called me. I went up the second week and spoke to Dale who ensured me, he would definitely email the Department Manager Pam, the Store General Manager, and Trish who sold us the tile. Again, no one called. I waited a week and still not call. When Pam and Trish, finally came when they were installing our carpet on July 2nd. Our tile was installed on June 6th and it took this long for someone to come out. They told me they were going to send out the installer to look at it. The installer Joe was very helpful and nice. He ordered the tile which he had to get from another store. I took another day off and the installer came out and said, due to there's so much un-even tiles, broken tiles around the borders, and no mortar that all the tile had to be torn out & replaced. During this entire month-we could not put our bathroom and kitchen things back in those areas due to them having to fix this. We cannot put our kitchen table back in or furniture back due to trying to get them to come fix it. This has been a mess and now we have to have a pay a plumber again to move out our toilets and sinks again to have them re-tile all the kitchens and bathrooms. We spend over $5,000 and I have to take off over 5 days and my roommate took off 4 days to get this taken care of. This is costing me more than if I had bought it somewhere else. The managers finally called once I made a complaint with Lowes Customer Service and they said, well its taken so long due to we had to schedule the installers and there will be no compensation for this due to we got to give them another chance to do it right. Now, I have to take 4 more days off, hire a plumber to move toilets & Sinks, and pay someone again to move furniture again. I normally don't complain but when I received a phone call from the manager stating it's taken so long due to the installer's schedule. I know this is not true due to it took them a month to even come and see the mistakes that were made by the installers they hired to do the job. Lowes told us not to hire our own installers due to we wanted it professionally done with no mistakes. This has made me think I could have done a better job myself. I attemted to buy a door from Lowes. They sent someone to measure and I was instructed to buy the wrong door with unnecessary supplies. When returning the door , first I went to customer service who took about 10 minutes to figure out I needed to go to building supplies. The check out person there, did not apologize for the inconvenience and said it wasn't her fault I bought the wrong door. Next I went to doors to find a door that would work ,the person who sold me the door also did not accept responsibility or apologize.Not sure what is going on with management with this store but the employees certainly do not put customers first and noone accepts responsibility. read more

I was at Lowes wanting to buy several items for a rent house that we had to fix. First help was pretty nonexistence.. After about 30 minutes I got some assistance. Was purchasing a dishwasher sink faucet and a few misc items. Went to check out and my credit card that we only use when we have to repair a rent house was cancelled. Was told if you do not use it every 9 months they cancel it. Since it had been to long they could not reopen it but I had to reapply. By this time I had spent about 20 minutes trying to check out. I asked them to hold my items at customer service and I would be back with a check I called my husband who had the correct check book and he headed to Lowes but they had put my basket somewhere and no one knew where. It took him another 20 minutes to find it. He finally checked out and we were to get a call scheduling our delivery of the dishwasher. Well they use 3P delivery that has a one star rating and I think that is too high. They are rude lie to you and make no attempt to keep a schedule. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!! I ordered a very expensive BBQ Pitt online and in big words it says " FREE ASSEMBLY". They LIED! I received a call confirming my delivery and free assembly will take place that same day! The delivery person called to confirm he was on his way and then tells me he's dropping off the BBQ pit that's in a box. When I asked if he was going to assemble the product he said "no" and it was a separate fee!! I called Lowe's store spoke Manager Larry and was not professional and he was clueless. He said there's a separate fee and he didn't have anyone to assemble my BBQ pit until next week! Worse customer service! I decided to get my money back and shop at another store. read more
