If an item is in stock on the website, I'd like to think that someone in customer service could direct me to the location in the store. Did that happen? NOPE. I was told that if I didn't see it in stock, it wasn't there. Imagine my surprise when I added the one item to my cart online (while sitting in my car), then proceeded to purchase it. 5 minutes later, guess what was available for in store pickup? My item. It was only 2 dollars and wasn't that big of a deal to Kenya in customer service. I had shock on my face when she held it up like it contained leprosy instead of leaving it in the locker for me to get myself. I mean, you'd think that the bag contained the bubonic plague with how she held it in between her two fingers with a look of disgust on her face....the audacity was real that day. I don't have to go to this location anymore, thank goodness. I can always take a little more time and go to the Bobby Jones location. After waiting 12 days to receive the two doors I checked on them so I could pick them up after work because I have an installer coming in the morning to put them in. Now I am being told that I will not get them for another day, but no one could tell me if they shipped out. But when we ordered the doors, they told us they had five hundred of them. Well then, they said started say that the vendor had shipped them. Vendor?? That is not Lowes warehouse. So now I have family coming to visit and have no doors in the rooms and the Lowes management group could carless. Not willing to help at all not willing to verify that they are on a truck. The installer cannot come out until next week to put them in. I asked the manager of the store to call me, did she?? NO! It is sad that LOWES has hired people that are there just for a paycheck When I called and took off from work to go to the LOWES staff provided conflicting information about the delay. Denise in garden greeted us with a smile and helped us find exactly what we needed for our garden project. I love it when employees are well-versed in a variety of home improvement techniques. It gives a small town feel to this chain store you can't find everywhere. Self checkout assistants are always so friendly and greet my happy dog. They even remembered from previous trips! Got a new washer and dryer which was the same one I recently had for years. Called customer service for a lady to say she doesn't deal with it so she can't help me and then hung up. Got a Tech on the phone for them to not even help. When you turn it on it goes on the spin cycle and then it fills but it makes a noise to spin again and start the noise again and keeps repeating. I told my friend the deal on appliances was not worth the hassle, but they were paying and I was just there to lend a helping hand. Say I was a business owner and had a sub-contractor work for me and they perform shoddy work, Would I be responsible for the completion of a project or if anything was not completed in the entirety of the Scope of Work? That would be an emphatically resounding YES, such was today's dilemma. Refrigerator was being delivered while I was away, return to see empty water bottle in driveway with Styrofoam debris strips. Go in see fridge is connected to water line and has power, but protective film and secure tape is still attached. I proceed to remove film and tape only to open the front and freezer drawers have protective film and tape attached, but get this..instruction manual is still secured in a taped deli tray. Hop in car, go back to Lowe's and ask for the Store Manager, Front Desk Supv. asks me what is problem in reference to and I told him an appliance delivery, he gets back on the phone with the Store Manger talks a bit and tells me that the Store Mgr will put a comment into the District Mgr for delivery because it is done through a third party. I am like what the what..I say Alrighty (in my Jim Carey voice) go outside for some fresh air, count to 10 and proceed back to the the Front Desk. I ask to see the Store Manager and as I am waiting, there are a few other employees at the front desk and appears the SM. At this time, I hear someone asks, "Can I help you?" and I reply "No thank you I am waiting on Christine the Store Mgr." She appears miffed at the query and replies, "I am Cristine, Sir!" Mind you half of her body is behind a C-19 protective divider so I cannot SEE the nametag (what a first impression!) I inform her of the sub par workmanship of the delivery and show her pictures which she immediately tells me that Lowes uses a third party delivery company for products that come from the warehouse. Why is that companies these days are not taking responsibility for their Brand name? The first statement should have been I apologize for the inconvenience and will investigate this further, how can we rectify the situation? No, it was all about the blame game that Lowes did not do this but our new third party delivery company was responsible. Really Lowes...I expected better. HD only discounts certain items for Military discount and you never know what they are. So someone (my daughters boyfriend) ran over the main water line to the house so I hopped in the car and headed to Lowes. I picked up what I needed and headed home to make the repair. Done!!! Had a new Refrigerator delivered by SPRINT which is Lowes "contractor" Company for appliances. Delivery people did not want to hook up water until I asked. They did not want to put the handles on and when I demanded, they put them on upside down and insisted thats they way they were supposed to be. They would not remove any tape or shrink wrap or styrofoam packing. I found dents in the refrigerator and contacted Lowes which put me in touch with SPRINT to schedule a replacement. Four days later a different team shows up with the replacement and they got angry when I wanted to see the condition of the fridge before I went through the trouble of removing my front door to get it in the house. It looked good so we went in to show the team where the kitchen was and while I was showing them the poor job their constituents performed the king pin stated he had nothing to do with that and questioned why I was showing it to him. And then the main man stood in my house and accused me of having an attitude and getting in his personal space. IN MY HOUSE. At that time I did get an attitude and I did get in his personal space as I promptly threw him and his esteemed colleague out of my house. I then went to Home Depot and purchased the same fridge for a good bit less and their delivery team was outstanding. Then I had the displeasure of having to deal with the same inept Lowes contractor to pick up the original banged up unit. It too was a nightmare. They were to be there between 2 and 6 pm. At 7 pm I am on the phone with the expert, crack management staff with SPRINT and they informed me the team was a short distance away and would be there pronto. They showed up at 10 pm. I've used this and others Lowe's many times over several years but this store is disappointing compared to many that Ive been to. it's not the products, but the management The last visit and probably last ever was to order some lumber for delivery that included 150 1x6 fence pickets. they we're delivered in a pallet that I moved after the delivery truck left. when I got to the middle of the stack, several boards had been previously used. Screw holes, some already cut and with pencil lines drawn in to cut. they were purposly put in the middle of the stack to disguise them with new boards. I took them back and got a refund after waiting 30 min in line. i told and showed the person at the return desk and left my name and number and requested the store manager call me. I never heard from anyone . I also got the normal survey in my email and put the Same info in it and contact information. I never heard from anyone either. It just leaves me with the impressikn that there's not alot of value placed on customers at this store. from here on out, I'll go out of my way to avoid it and Lowe's altogether even if I have to pay more somewhere else read more

This is a kudo for Lowe's appliance delivery persons...Andreas and Vannie kept us posted via cell phone with when they would be there, on their way, and were timely. They took great care with the setup, installation of new dryer (no scratches) and the haul away of our old one. They did not appear to be in a rush, but at the same time were efficient...believe they've done this a few times. Unfortunately, we need to do a little ductwork replacement before the dryer can be used, but Andreas was thorough in explaining what we needed to do to ensure a safe hookup of our dryer. Went in to get paint last week and I told the gentleman what color I wanted and he kindly found the color in the computer and mixed it up. Very quick and helpful. I then went to get a 5 gallon bucket of the same color and had the most horrible experience. The man at the paint counter today refused to help finding the same color because he had other orders. Even though I waited my urn fairly in line. I then walked away and asked to speak with the manager and that went just as poorly. I explained my situation and instead of helping he just kept saying the guys was busy. Understandable, but I wasn't asking for him to skip other orders as stated I waited my turn in line and was ready to wait for my order to be completed. The people in front of me took very long discussing all their color options and getting their questions answered but when it came to my order he didn't have the time and refused to help. The manager continued to defend this man's poor attitude and rudeness while rolling his eyes at me. Had a regrettable experience at Lowe's today. I'm a local Landlord and I often purchase homes in the Evans/Grovetown area. I am refurbishing a new home and am receiving in the mail all sorts of offers to try retail sales for the neighborhood and surrounding areas (cable TV, landscaping, restaurants, etc). I received a nice welcome to the neighborhood coupon from Home Depot to purchase items to set up this home..... normally I did some home repair shopping at my local Lowe's, here on Washington Road, Evans, GA. I wrote out my list, about $300 of normal home start up and repair items.....and headed over to Lowes, as that is where I usually shop. I went to the Customer Service desk and asked nicely if they would honor the 15% off coupon I received from Home Depot. The Customer Service rep brought my question to the on-floor Store Manager who said "No". I asked again if they we're sure they would not match the 15% off, I was informed the Manager said "No". So I left the store, went across the street and purchased all my items, with the 15% off, from Home Depot. It will be a while before I return to my local Lows as this was a very negative experience for me. I was dismissed from the Customer Service counter.....never even saw the decision making Manager. I had to return a dishwasher we had purchased from the clearance section. I checked the return policy and since we had purchased on our lowes card and was within 30 days and had my original receipt should've been easy. We'll leave it to this lowes to make it much harder. As soon as the returns clerk called to speak to her manager and I saw who was slowly approaching with all the time in the world, I knew from a prior insistence we had in the lumber department. this was going to be great. I believe he's the store manager??you wouldn't know cuz he doesn't introduce himself nor wear a badge but after my husband dealt w him on how my husband has been in retail management for 15 years and wouldn't stand for his employees to speak to us like they did. all he did was ask us if that was all we needed?didn't offer an apology! didn't speak to the cashier! in-fact when my husband said to him yea you can load the lumber since my wife was helping me move 3 different pieces of plywood all in the wrong place. That was just blamed on customers putting things up wrong though there was about 6 in the wrong place! I guess the customer was stalking for them also. So I was ready for his lovely attitude which he didn't disappoint! Said he needed to see the dishwasher which was still attached to the pallet we had just decided we didn't want it. he starts to tell me you have 24 hours to bring back a clearance item in appliances so you need to go through warranty. Really? Even though I bought w a lowes card? He said what are you trying to return it? Ugh YES! We'll just drive up and I'll get someone to get it out the truck. Again no apologies for nothing not even for the misinformation (lie) he told me. It's clearly stated in the return policy on the website so why couldn't he have just handled it w a better attitude? There are a lot of great people that work at that lowes, but when management stops caring it's like a cancer that eats through the entire store. My husband has offered to hire people on the spot to show how appreciative he is when someone goes above and beyond and it's hard to find employees that care about their job and this lowes doesn't deserve them. Seems like the measurements that were forced upon us are incorrect and now we are told we need to purchase a different appliance. Called corporate office and still getting the run around. Be careful making purchases at Lowe's 4305 Washington Rd, Evans, Georgia. On Sunday August 6th I made a purchase at this store, my debit card was charged twice for the same items. The less than friendly cashier at the lumber end of this store rang up my items one of which (a roll of tape) rang up for $19.42. I explained that the sign on the shelf was $7.48, I said I don't want it at the $19.42. Clearly annoyed the cashier did some things on her register, printed out two sale slips and set them aside. She then rang up the two items I did purchase again. Due to all this I checked with my bank the next day, sure enough I was charged twice for my purchase. Today Thursday August 10th I went to this store with copies of the bank statement and my receipt. A person Ryan at customer service looked at the paperwork which clearly shows the double charge he asked for copies of the receipts the cashier set aside. I explained the cashier refused to give me copies stating the she needed them. Ryan stated I should not have swiped my card again when the cashier rang my order. He refused to refund the overcharge. I asked to speak to the manager to which Ryan responded with "ummm" and a blank stare. At this point I left as it was clear that Lowe's was not going to make this right. From Lowe's: John, we're very sorry to hear this. This is certainly not the service we expect you to receive. I used to go to Lowe's and was used to not having anyone around to help me so I knew the customer service was subpar. Today though, I decided never again. I got an email that my $59+ online order was all ready to pick up. I drove 20 minutes, stood in line for several minutes since there was only one person there that did anything. She brought up my order and said there was an "issue with the card I used". She could not and did not elaborate or even say, "I'm sorry". I had used two virtual Visa cards that I know were enough to cover the price. One was for $50, the other $27+. I had to chose a primary so I made the $50 the primary. I placed the order, got a confirmation, got an order number, and a zero balance. I told her that. No I'm sorry or explanation as to what happened. I guess she expected me to hand over another 60 bucks. She asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and I said, "YES". I checked my account order status when I got to the car and it still said, "ready to pick up". Cancellation should have been immediate. Three hours later, when I got home, I had to cancel it. Took me all of 1 minute. I gave the reason as poor customer service that doesn't do what they say they will and a poor ordering system that gives the OK for orders that are not complete, for whatever reason, they cannot say. I called back - when the lady answered she just put me on hold without even saying she was going to. I could then tell someone picked up and before I could say why I was calling - they hung up. (It seemed like an accident but never-the-less.) I called back again and asked for a store manager - I was told the manager was already gone for the day (3/8/19 at 5:30 pm)... On Feb 3 I went into Lowe's in Evans to purchase a new dryer. The appliance rep was very helpful and helped me get the dryer I wanted. She had to order it and said that it would be in on Friday and they could deliver it on Saturday February 8. I agreed and paid for the item. I fully expected to receive a phone call on Friday with delivery confirmation, and that didn't happen. So I called Saturday morning at 9:22 am. I asked the associate when I could expect to have my dryer delivered. Very rudely she told me that it could be delivered anywhere between 8 am and 8 pm. But assured me it would be delivered on Saturday. By 3:30 I still hadn't heard anything. I tried to call again, no answer at the store. I called again at 4:30 no answer, when I called again at 5:30 I finally got an answer and the lady that answered assured me that my item would be there on Saturday and put me on hold so she could get in touch with the delivery person. I was on hold for 20 minutes and she never came back on the line. I called again at 7:20p.m. just for this lady to tell me that my item is on back order. I'm then transferred to the manage Tim. He didn't have any answers right away. He told he would look into it and get back to me. He called me Baal at 8 pm and explained that for whatever reason the distribution Center never shipped the dryer to the store. He didn't understand why no on notified me of what happened. Furthermore he couldn't understand why two different people told me I would receive my item when they didn't even have it. This has been the worst experience I've had with Lowe's. This has Ben such an inconvenience to me. This purchase wasn't a want it was a need. My old dryer caught fire and I was in need of a new dryer pretty quick. Having 3 kids and being a family of 5 laundry piles up pretty quickly. I was ok with getting the dryer on Saturday now I have to wait even longer or settle on something lesser. I ordered two appliances, washer and dryer, from Lowe's Online to be delivered to my house from Lowes in Evans GA. I received a call from Lowes in Evans saying the appliances were out of stock and it would be 2 weeks before restocking and delivery. I received the next day saying they would deliver the following, next day. On the deliver day, I received delivery but the washer was damaged (The frame was majorly cracked, but didn't see it to after the delivery people left. - Was this a display model?). I called the store immediately and they offered to replace the washer, but was told it would take six weeks to get me a new one. He encouraged me to keep it and use it until a new was in stock (Lowes isn't liable after 30 days for the appliances sold). I told them that I would like a refund and to return the appliances ASAP. They said they would call back. He called back and left a message telling me that it would be at least two weeks before they could pick them up. I've tried to call back multiple times but could not get anyone to answer. After several attempts, I got a hold of a manager, and surprisingly, they picked up the appliances the next day. The delivery guys said they only have five deliveries that day, and I was number five that day. I can't speak to other departments, but I would recommend against doing any business with Lowe's appliance department and not to conduct any appliance related business with the appliance retail staff at Lowe's in Evans GA. read more

THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST LOWE'S IN THE CSRA! My husband and I decided to upgrade some appliances in our kitchen and we went to Lowe's to purchase them. We wanted to get a refrigerator, a range & a microwave. Getting Lowe's to install and deliver the refrigerator and the range was a smooth process. When we initially went to the store, the gentleman that helped us said that they had a third party that installs the microwaves over the ranges if there was not one before. When the 3rd party installer came in to evaluate our kitchen, he said that he SUGGESTED that we get a certain type of microwave instead of a standard one but a standard one will fit just fine. We said ok we will look into it but we wanted all of our appliances to be the same brand and they didn't make the type of microwave he suggested. We went to Lowe's the day after we had the refrigerator and the range installed and the worker we spoke with about the microwave was EXTREMELY RUDE! When we asked about ordering the microwave that we want he said that we had to get the microwave that was listed on the evaluation by the third party installer. We explained to him that the installer suggested we get that microwave but we didn't have to get it. The worker then began to argue back and forth with my husband about it. We just got fed up with it and left. A few days after this situation, a worker called me to check on the status of us having the microwave installed. I explained what happened when we went to the store and how rude the worker was to my husband. After I told him this, he was EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME AS WELL. He started to argue with me about the same thing and I told him until Lowe's pays for all the appliances in my home to be replaced, I will pay for what I want and not what they want me to have. Came here for 4 things. Lowe's had none of them, although nothing out of the ordinary. When I asked two associates re two different items they were not very helpful. They had no idea if they had them or were getting more nor did either one other to check. All I got were shrugs and maybes. read more

Super disappointed with this location. I called yesterday to schedule having countertops installed in my house. I have called numerous other Lowe's and Home Depot locations and couldn't get anyone to take my call. But I was able to get someone to answer in the right department at this location. We've previously used Lows's on Bobby Jones for installing the flooring in our entire house. She got my information and credit card number so she could have the contractor come measure. Because I'm more than 20 miles from the store, I was told I'd be charged for every mile over. We live in the middle of nowhere so I'm okay with that because there really is no location closer to us. Got a call the next day from the same employee in that department stating she was waiting to hear from the contractor to see if he would do the job. Um, what? I've had work done at my house through Lowe's in the Augusta/Evans area before. Why is this a problem now? So I wait for her to call back and of course the contractor won't do it. He says it's too far. Even though I'm only an hour from this Lowe's, the contractor is 2 hours away because he lives in South Carolina. I basically get told "try somewhere closer" even though I've already told them I live an hour or more from every Lowe's near me. And all the other locations in Augusta use the same contractor for countertops so no point in calling anywhere else. Called corporate customer service, basically got the same "too bad" kind of answer. Hey Lowe's...how about using contractors who actually live in Georgia to serve your customers that live in Georgia? Not my problem your contractor lives an hour on the other side of your store location. read more
