I purchased my father a chainsaw from this location and when looking at the options, I purchased craftsman specifically because on the shelf, Lowe's touts a 90 day return guarantee. It was a little more costly but I figured the investment would be worth it. Within 2 days the pull cord wasn't working correctly and the chainsaw needed to be exchanged for a new one. This is when the nightmare began. The managers at this location REFUSED to accept a return or issue a refund and stated it needed to be returned within 48 hours. It had been less than a week and they were still refusing the return. After much back and forth with my father pointing at THEIR OWN SIGNS stating their policy that craftsman branded items had a 90 day return window, my father had to call corporate. He called corporate while sitting on a bench outside because the manager refused to help him and threatened to have him removed from the premises. Corporate stated that yes, Lowes was obligated to accept the return and that the policy was 90 days. It was only then that the store finally processed the refund and exchange. The way the staff and managers treated my father throughout this experience was despicable. To have to call a corporate line to be treated fairly and have the store follow their own policy is outrageous. Management here should be ashamed of themselves. Based on other reviews I see of this location, clearly this is a trend and customer care is completely disregarded. Horrific way to do business, I won't be coming back.

This weekend was when I finally stopped procrastinating and decided to rent some lawn equipment to tame the hot mess growing in a corned or my backyard. Since my lawn service decided not to cut the spot, it had overgrown with time. Now that the weather isnt blazing hot, I went online and rented the brush cutter for 4 hours. I went online and first selected the trimmer but when I arrived to pick it up, I changed it for the brush cutter and the worker was able to easily change out my order. A quick tutorial on how to work it and I had it inside my car and off to do battle I went. I managed to work it for two hours before my noodle arms were too tired to do much else but I did do a nice sized dent into the mess so I was very pleased. Lucky for me I still had plenty of old string from back in the day or else I would have needed to buy more. The amount the brush cutter came with wasn't enough. That is my only complaint. The rental was just $40 for those four hours which is wonderful. You do need to put down a $50 deposit which is returned once the equipment comes back.

The mistake of ordering opaque windows five months ago still hasn't been fixed.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this company. I purchased 7 windows, and the team installed them with the wrong glass over five months ago. Since then, I have been trying to get this issue resolved, but the process has been filled with delays and incompetence. In mid-December, I was told the installation to fix their mistake would happen on January 10th. I took the day off from work, resulting in a loss of income, only to find that the issue is still unresolved. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability is unacceptable. I have wasted time, money, and energy dealing with this company's repeated errors. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient provider. No one here wants to do customer service... I just want help to get out of the store. Needed to get help from a person not self check out. No one asked what I needed before trying to turn me away. Then they didn't have bags and were asking me if I wanted bags... I had 6 items that could fit in bags.

4 Stars for a typical Lowes, with VERY friendly staff, but a bit lax on the mask enforcement during COVID. I went in to grab some paint for my new house and Ben, in the paint department, was very helpful and knew his stuff. Later on, when my 5 gallon bucket of paint was ready, he lifted it into my cart for me (THANK YOUUUU!). Another woman sitting at a desk by the window treatments section was also lovely when we were looking for something, and the gal at the register was a GEM! It's unusual to find so many friendly, helpful people in one place, but it was much appreciated (for this fish out of water!). My only complaint was that although most people were wearing masks (including all employees), we did see a few couples walking the aisles without masks. They walked by several employees but no one said anything. I really feel for the staff because they probably don't know if they'll get a hostile reaction, but as a tiny gal, I didn't feel I could say anything. So, rather than roam and find more fun things to buy (that I have absolutely no reason to own), I quickly headed for the checkout. Overall, great employees and an easy process that was mostly safe.

SHOP HOME DEPOT INSTEAD!!! They don't back up their products, even when their 90 day return policy states they will. I purchased a $35.68 bag of Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action after a Lowe's rep recommended it to kill weeds, kill insects & feed my lawn. It actually made my weeds grow stronger & greener, the ant mounds & grubs (what moles eat) are unaffected, but my good grass did not improve at all. IT FAILED COMPLETELY, EXCEPT IT FEED MY WEEDS! The return desk clerk & manager wouldn't take the bag back claiming the bag can't be used, or in my case, empty. I showed them pictures of my weeds & ant mounds as I asked them: How else would I know that the product worked if not by using it? This was all in vain, as they kept telling me to go after Scotts directly. NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

Water cooler jug replacement here. Little known fact??

I've been to this location several times and am able find what I need most of the time. From lumber, to light bulbs, to pesticide, to mulch, to paint, the size of the store indicates the large selection of products you'd want at a 'big box' home improvement store. Service at this store has been spotty. I could give you plenty of examples but one will suffice. I asked in the paint Dept for a small quart can of ceiling paint and was shown the large gallon container. Just a bit later I looked on my own and found the smaller can. I will also tell you that the store does have a customer service ace. Should you have issues, go to Customer Service and ask for the manager. On a different note, with the Sears downfall, Lowe's picked up the Craftsman tool line. I don't know, however, if the lifetime warranty still applies. One last tip, during hurricane season, Lowe's stocks up well on the necessities and staffs accordingly.

Our experience with Rockwood Shutters through Home Depot has been nothing short of a nightmare…read more We invested over $10,000 in interior shutters for our newly purchased home, believing we were choosing a reputable company because of its affiliation with Home Depot. We were told installation would take approximately six weeks after measurements. The measuring appointment went smoothly, and six weeks later the installers arrived. We were excited--until we learned they had failed to manufacture the six frames required for our double French doors. We were told they would have to remake them, which meant waiting another six weeks. Fast forward to today's installation. The installer arrived with frames and shutters, and we thought the ordeal was finally over. Unfortunately, as soon as the first shutter was installed, it was obvious the frame was the wrong size. It left a noticeable gap between the frame and the glass, allowing light to pour through the sides--completely defeating the purpose of custom plantation shutters. The installer then mentioned there was supposedly "another set of wider frames" somewhere, but that explanation made no sense because this was the first set of frames we had ever seen. Once again, we were left without a solution and without any confidence that anyone knows what is actually going on with our order. To make matters worse, we've now been paying interest on shutters we still don't have for over 2 1/2 months. Paying for a product you can't use while repeatedly waiting on the company to fix its own mistakes is unacceptable. At this point, we've escalated the issue by contacting executives at both Rockwood Shutters and Home Depot because customer service has failed to provide timely communication or a clear resolution. If you're considering Rockwood Shutters because you assume a Home Depot affiliation means quality and accountability, think twice. Our experience has been filled with delays, manufacturing errors, poor communication, and a complete lack of organization. Spending this much money should result in a premium customer experience--not months of frustration and broken promises.

Yesterday (8/13) at around 4:15PM I bought a transformer from the store. Cost me $34. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the space I have. I took the item back today at around 12:00PM (8/14) with my receipt. I was told I could NOT get a refund for my item, even though I had my receipt. She didn't even open the box to check the item (I had repacked it the way it was sold to me). She asked her supervisor, and the supervisor also said no refund. The cashier told me there were no refunds on electrical items. I was not warned about this by the cashier when I bought the item. I was flabbergasted. I like to support local businesses, but that support only led this local business to spit back into my face. I will never use this Ace Hardware again. We will now make sure to go to the big box stores to guarantee we get a refund if something doesn't work, especially within the first 24 hours. I actually left the transformer with the cashier because I can't use it, and maybe someone else looking for one will be able to. I hope keeping my $34 was worth it to never have my business again.

Adjectives Market was founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson and they have now grown to five locations. Adjectives Market sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. Each store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. I was blown away but how large this store is. There are multiple rooms filled with furniture and home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. They also sell holiday decorations, clothes, accessories, and jewelry from a mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen. You are sure to find things you have never seen before. This store answers the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift, this is the perfect place to shop. I could spend hours exploring this store and I literally want everything. I just wish they would open in South Florida. For now I have to be content with visiting them in Central Florida.
