Recently has a situation with paint color and the paint assistant manager was exception! He helped us and went above and beyond.

The male sales associate was extremely rude to me. He screamed at me upon arrival at the register then 2 other associates came running over to watch over me and only me not any of the other customers around me. He stood over me while I purchased my items and then looked underneath only my cart. No one else in line received that service. I spoke to the manager about it and he was very kind and apologized for the behavior. But the racial profiling is getting out of control. Please stop! I gave no one a reason to attack me besides the color of my skin. If everyone was being treated that way then my interpretation would have been different but they weren't. read more

A props review us in order! My last visit to this store wasn't perfect, but imperfections were handled beautifully my management - AND I worked with knowledgeable staff in multiple departments. Shout-outs to plumbing and paint. The garden center also had what I needed. But the star of the show this visit was Dean. When my special order item was broken and I didn't realize it until I got home, he went above and beyond to make it right. I hate that I'm forgetting other folks names - I know Leticia was one of them (maybe misspelled) - but the visit was Saturday Sept 10, 2024, and the guy in plumbing and the guy in paint were also great, plus other folks up front. Actual purchase of dishwasher at Lowe's Home Improvement Store, Frisco, TX (store #1059) was excellent and took little time. Sales associate did a good job. Especially at great sales price. Only problem was the specific model we wanted was advertised as in-stock online and available right now Nov 25th. And could be installed right away. That was not the case. We were called the next day and told the store would not have the unit until Dec 5th. It was installed Dec 7th in less than an hour which was excellent. Both the sales person and installer did a great job. Lowe's needs to change their website to correct the available inventory on hand. Went to return a damaged item that was purchased at another store because this store was 15 miles closer and they said I had to return to the original store to hold them liable. No matter where I go this truck follows me with the license plate temoc pl it's a bit too crowded I thought the isles could be a bit more spacious. Pretty slippery but they were washing the floors and they were marked appropriately unlike other places. Good selection and nice people . Nice plants and selection in nuts and bolt department. This is my neighborhood Lowe's. I wanted to say that it's always been a great experience coming to this location but one employee that really went above and beyond was Norman. I was having a hard time getting air in my tire and Norman happened to walk by, noticed, and offered to help. He proceeded to help me get some air into all my tires and let me know that the pressure gage was broken and so would not know the amount of tire air pressure in each tire. He then offered and walked quite far to his car to get his tire gage and helped me measure and get air in my tires. He was a lifesaver as my hubby was out of town and my friend and I were totally confused. Thanks goodness for Norman who went out of his way to help! What an exceptional associate! read more

If I could give zero stars - I would. I spent over 45 minutes trying to get someone to help me find an item that I needed. I must have spoken to five different people and they all paged someone to come help. I spent another several minutes hitting the help buttons in the area as well. No one. I finally walked the store and found someone and told them to please help - he finally helped and guess what? They didn't even have the item. Even though the inventory showed they had seven. Home Depot has a better selection on granite and backsplashes, just keep in mind that we all have different taste but as far as ours was not found at this store. I did like the way they have their demo kitchen and bath along with cabinets displays so that was nice. Staff in Returns department needs to be trained on returning items on an LCA account. Directed me to the pros desk after informing me nothing is pulling up on my account under recent purchases. I told them they needed to scan the items first but told me our account was not pulling up any recent items and that I needed go to the pros desk. I told them they're going to send me back to the return department and told me well nothings pulling up. After going back and forth, I go to the pros desk for them to just send me back to returns. The district manager happen to be there after making my second trip around and she handled my situation in 2 minutes. Scanned the items like I recommended to the other workers. I wasted 45 minutes trying to return 4 items. Our company has been an account holder for 8 years. Please cut down our time on these visit with properly trained staff. Was able to go into the store to compare the final three and pleased to make my final decision. David in the Appliances dept was very helpful, answered my questions, and setup our delivery and removal order. Was super pleased their inventory system was accurate with this being the last refrigerator in stock. Was able to select delivery date and preferred time. I placed an order online (curbside pickup) with Lowes for lava rocks and Milorganite fertilizer. I received an email saying my order was ready to be picked up. I drove up to the store. They had the lava rocks, but I was told that they just sold the last bag of Milorganite that day. I was willing to come back a second time - with everything thats going on I wanted to be as flexible as possible. So I asked if they could text me when the received a new shipment. The guy at the landscape supplies told me that is something I would have to work out with customer service myself. I was still OK with that. Came home, tried to call customer service to find out that I am on permanent hold. Checked the order status online and found out that my entire order including the Milorganite has been marked as picked up, and my credit card has been charged the full amount. And I just can't seem to get through to customer service on the phone. For me, time is the most expensive commodity and the reason I make online purchases is to save time. Being on hold on the phone forever will not work for me, so I may have to drive in to sort this out faster. But this whole experience has left a very bad taste in the mouth and I question my own judgement to be flexible with Lowes curbside pickup. I needed a bolt for one I'd broken on the s*x swing the night before. So, needing just that, I went to Lowe's. When I explained to the lady what I needed and what it was for she gave me a knowing smile and lee me to the aisle of fasteners. I found the bolt I needed. On the way to the checkout stand I passed the tool section. They had all kinds of power tools I'd never known existed. I pondered what I could do with these and quickly filled my cart with the latest cordless tools. They'll be fun to play with once I fix the swing. Excellent experience from beginning to end, especially in the midst of COVID-19. Woman in appliances was wonderful and helped us with the dishwashers. She was very informative. Next stop, carpet and he was awesome and went way above and beyond to help us. Also very knowledgeable and informative. The installation manager was helpful too. One of our visits in carpet she knew our guy was out to lunch and saw us. She came over to fill in and help us. The man who came to measure our home for the carpet was so nice and professional. Then the two men that came and installed the carpet in our home were amazing. So kind, professional, and helpful. Overall, best experience!!! I wanted a garden cart, not a wheelbarrow. In the garden department (aisle 30) they said they did not have one but there might be in Ladders, aisle 4. I went there. No carts. A customer service person said they were at aisle 31, back where I came from. The good news is I am getting my steps for the day. At 31, a customer service person scouts around and finds some behind some fork lifts. He says there are two sizes, one for $99 and a large one for $179. I wanted the small. He wrestles one out from behind the fork lifts and I put it on the cart I went and got from the front of the store while the wrestling was going on. Off I go to check out. Turns out this is the large one for $179. I drag it back to the back of the store where the fork lifts are to see if there are any small ones. No. I just leave it there on the cart. I go home. I get on Amazon. They have the small size GorillaCart in stock for $79 on sale, a $20 savings off the out of stock Lowe's offering. Free Prime Shipping. No trying to fit this thing in the car. YEAH! Total time to get this done. Two minutes. Two days later. GorillaCart is delivered to my door. Seems to me that when you asked for something at Lowe's the customer service person went with you to find it. Or maybe that was Home Depot. The GorillaCart is really great. read more

Based on many other reviews, it seems customer service and one employee in particular is causing a lot of customers problems. With that being said, the customer service at this store sucks. The guy that I asked for assistance, Jonah, made it very clear that he was annoyed I needed help. He was condescending, impatient, and dismissive. I noticed on his name tag that he just started working there this year. I'm guessing he won't be around too long. Stay out of customer service if you don't like answering questions and helping people find stuff. Anyways, he is a perfect representation of the PROFESSIONAL Customer Service Lowes strives for. I've consciously made the decision to take my business to Lowes as opposed to Home Depot. Lowes is known for donating money to socially progressive community organizations. The CEO himself is known to be at stores, assisting customers as well. Anyways, today I went to this Lowes location, and all the very hard working employees took care of me. Various employees asked me very politely if I needed help with anything (I tend to look lost most of the time)..regardless if they seemed busy or not. Ahmed walked me over to the product I was looking so kindly without me even having to ask. And to top it off, Zack displayed amazing customer service and made me feel very welcomed, and it truly made my day. Bought a glass stovetop on the internet. The site said they had two left in the store, which is why I bought this particular one. Before we were heading down to go get it, a girl called me and said they sold one to a customer and the other one is on display, and they won't sell that one. I asked her to refund my money to my card and she says the card payment was just a hold and it should be there now. I told her to hang on and let me check and she hung up on me. She was very rude during this whole conversation and hanging up just made it worse. They forgot to remove transportation bolts from washer. First load of wash caused machine to move so much it locked me out of laundry room by blocking door. Getting replacement has been an exercise in patience. Claudia, Dean, Bill - all employees and all incapable of fixing issues. Just one issue after another. The guy from the store helping us put our grill ( in a box) was so lazy, he did not even know how to use a dolly, I had to help him. He basically just dumped the box in our car and we heard a loud thud. Putting our grill together we saw that it had huge dents in the back. I wouldn't recommend this location to people read more

Once again, the customer service at Lowe's left me frustrated and vowing not to return. I attempted to purchase gerber daisies marked $7.98 which rang up at $8.98. I pointed this out to the cashier who said there was nothing he could do about it, which meant traipsing all the way to the customer service desk. The customer service representative refused to assist me because I expressed my angst with the incompetence of the staff. Ahh good ol store #1059. Where there motto is "Make the sale no matter what but good luck getting it installed". The installers for my dishwasher failed to install the dishwasher after 3 attempts. On the 4th attempt they decided to simply not show up at all or call to cancel/reschedule. I was promised a refund in full for all parts and labor (excluding the dishwasher itself) which was over $500 in total. Instead I received a refund of $125 and was told by the "support specialist" that they couldn't help me any furt It has been 109 days since I purchased a dishwasher from this store which has yet to be correctly installed or had the labor refunded in full for the incomplete/inaccurate installation. UPDATE: after communicating with numerous employees, the store manager, their customer care group, their Facebook page, and leaving this yelp review; I emailed the CEO whose office coordinated a refund for the labor. Horrible customer service at this store! We have bought at other Lowe's with no issue but this one takes the cake! Spent over $3k for LG washer and dryer and they did not take the door off to laundry room. Completely scratched both sides of dryer. If I wanted a scratch and dent appliance I would go to Sears Outlet. I call Lowe's to discuss and can't get anyone on the phone. In fact they will continue to hang up on you! Over the course of a week, I visited many Lowe's in the Dallas surrounding area looking for a black 15-foot cord protector with no success. Several stores said they had them online, but when I actually visited the stores they didn't have any available. I decided to pop into this store in the hopes they had what I needed. After walking into the store, I decided to look for some planters I needed near the garden center first. As I looked for the planters I heard a woman named Misty say "Hello, can I help you find anything?". Relieved for the help, I showed her the paper I printed with the cord protector on it and asked if she could help me find it. I could tell she was really busy, but she seemed happy to help me out. She told me to keep shopping while she tried to locate them for me. I really appreciated this because I was really on a crunch for time. Unfortunately, this store did not have the black ones in stock, but she was diligent to locate them for me at another store, she jumped on the internet and found some for me at the store in Prosper, then she also printed directions for me. She also went as far as to call the Prosper store to ask them to set aside 2 boxes for me so they would be available when I arrived. Misty was extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. Although she had a lot going on at the time, she never let that stop her from providing top customer service to me. She went above and beyond to help, and I really appreciate all she did for me.
