If you could give negative stars this would be the place to do so. I have gone to this store multiple times and had an issue every time. We normally only go if it's an emergency and don't have time to go to Home Depot. Everyone here is not helpful or has no idea of how to assist you. Last time I was here I waited while they cut an entire project for someone which made me think they could be somewhat useful but that was a one in a million instance. I needed some plywood cut to size for a project and don't have the correct tools to do so. Even though everything cost more here I figured if they cut it to size it would be helpful. I waited 30 minutes for someone to show up to advise me on what could be best for my project only to be told we won't cut it for you and basically decide what you need yourself. Terrible customer service. I needed to get a Deglosser, which I couldn't get in my area. On the website of this store, they have one advertised, and according to the page they have 22 bottles. Today I went with my daughter, and since we did not find it, my daughter asked the woman that was in the painting area about the product. She in a bad way told her, where to look. Since we couldn't find it, my daughter went to customer service and explained what we needed, and that according to her website, the product was in the store. Very kindly, the person from costumer services called the woman in the painting area, who very reluctantly went to look for the product. She hands me a bottle of Liquid Sandpaper from another brand. I tell her that, that is not what I am looking for, and that it's not what is advertised on the website. She rudely said to me: That is what you are looking for. Clearly the bottle says: Deglosser. I replied that it was not the same product and it was not what I needed. We even looked for other items that I needed for the project I have, and we didn't find anything I needed. If you look at bottle of Liquid Sandpaper and the bottle of Deglosser, you will notice the difference between them. You don't have to be a genius to know what each product is used for. What a shame that one has a product on the website, one goes to the store and meets an employee That does not know the difference between one and the other. It is not the first time that I have a bad time in this store, and I avoid going to it as much as possible. It is one of my last options. Meanwhile, looking for options and guidance, we went to the Sherwin-Williams store and to my surprise, I not only found the Deglosser, but also everything I need for my project. read more

Lowe's is better than Home Depot! Just kidding, they both have their pros and cons. I prefer Lowe's because of the garden center. Their plants seem to be better quality. I know how to keep plants alive and aside from Calloway's, this is my go-to place for anything outdoors. Shopping at Lowes (in Dallas, on Inwood) was very disappointing. We were kept waiting for 3 hours. We went there to replace 5 major appliances plus purchase an upright freezer. Every 1/2 hour, we checked at the customer service desk, to see how much longer we had to wait. Each time we were told it would only be 10 to 15 minutes. After 3 hours we left and went to Lowes on Lemmon, where we were IMMEDIATELY assisted. 0.0 stars for Inwood Lowes: SUB-PAR, EXTREMELY INFERIOR SERVICE 5 stars for Lemmon Lowes: EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT DELIVERY AND EXCELLENT INSTALLATION ON ALL 6 APPLIANCES. read more

There is no system of organization here when you order over the phone or online and come in to pick it up. Zero management in store after 5pm and all employees are walking around clueless. read more

Very poor customer service! Several times now, I have pre-ordered on the internet for in-store pickup only to have the order wrong. One would think, if nothing else but for inventory control, they would match the invoice to what they load in the car. When we got home and realized what was wrong, the customer service desk tried to say it was my fault for not watching. Guess next time I will or just go to Home Depot instead! read more

Worst Lowe's I've even been too. No employees to be found, I bought bags of concrete and the two nice ladies at the register called two times for help over the intercom no one came. I waited 20 minutes until I walked around to have to look for someone to help me. When finally finding someone to help me all the bags of concrete where hard and they had to go get someone to get the forklift to get a pallet down and I still had to wait for someone to even get the forklift for another 15 minutes. After waiting, I finally went to ask for the manager and she came to help. But the employees seem clueless about anything. read more

Worst customer service I've received in some time. Went to return an item and was honest and upfront about how long I'd had it and had no receipt so know my chances were slim. Treated me like and idiot and while I was still talking, associate Dale in plumbing took a call, turned his back on me and walked away. Unbelievable. Spoke to Manager at front and received the same attitude. Despite living locally I will NEVER NEVER shop at this Lowes again and probably will use Home Depot which is closer anyway. BTW called the manufacturer (Moen) and they sent me a replacement overnight. I don't mind that the store couldn't do anything for me I just despized the shocking attitude at this red neck club. read more

My husband and I went to pick up a 6x8 fence panel, some posts & brackets, but couldn't find anyone that wanted to help us. We finally found someone, but he said everything we needed was outside, as if we just help ourselves. We went to the front desk to find out what the process was & where the brackets are. We were told the brackets were down there on the left or over there on the right (no aisle number or even a finger pointing in the right direction) or in the garden dept. I ask if someone could show us & she got real sarcastic & called the guy that we already spoke with (that wasn't interested in helping us) & told him that she told us where it was, but we still needed to be shown (as if we are too stupid to follow her awesome directions). I told her we had already looked around 2 of the 3 locations she mentioned, but didn't see them. Then she told us that they were out of them, but the guy was still coming to show us where they are. That didn't make any sense to me & we told her nevermind. We would go somewhere else. She had the worst look on her face like we were offending her by needing extra assistance. She looked like a manager, which is why we approached her in the first place when no help was available. This was by far the worst visit to Lowe's & we probably won't be back. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Placed an order online, card was charged & had confirmation number. Went to pickup & was told by Cheryl order was cancelled. She had the nastiest attitude ever. Deplorable woman & should not work in any field dealing with people. Questioned why the ordered was cancelled, who cancelled it, who was contacted about the cancellation and she looked liked a deer in the headlights. When asked for a manager Jay came out & was as dumb as a box of rocks himself. Finally the head cashier Maria came out & she was as pitiful as the other 2. All three of these employees exemplify exactly what shouldn't be done in customer service. No empathy. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. Just 3 bumbling idiots Who couldn't answer a question or solve a problem. Trust me when I say don't waste your time or money at this store. The level of idiocy from so many staff members is astounding. Go to the location on Arbrook for a better experience. read more

While in town visiting I went to the Lowe's in Fort Worth...I love Lowe's and spend half my time shopping there, so I thought I would check this Lowe's out! Complete incompetence at the self check out. 5 items took a cashiers assistance 3 times. No other options for check out. This is ridiculous

Just wanted to take a second and praise all the staff at this Lowes location for their great customer service. One employee in particular who stands out for his friendly attitude and always willing to help is Lloyd Guerrero. I just recently purchased a new Washer and Dryer for my wife at this Lowes. Then I decided to check out Home Depot for the purchase of a new refrigerator. That was a big mistake the Home Depot experience was pretty sad. When I tried to buy a refrigerator from them and I found one that I liked. I was told that the one I liked was a discontinued item and the floor model was on sale from $4,000 to $2,699. I asked to speak to a manager to see if I could get a better deal because the floor model had dents on the front of it. The manager did not want to budge. What the manager did not know was that I looked online and found that Home Depot still had this refrigerator online for the same price of $2,699 brand new. That means that Home Depot was intentionally trying to deceive customers into thinking that they where getting a great discount on a floor model. I decided to go back to Lowes where the experience once again was totally positive. Lowes had the exact same refrigerator online and price matched Home Depots online price. Lowes even delivered and intalled my new Refrigerator at no additional cost. Shame on Home Depot trying swindle customers into buying beat up floor models at prices of new ones that they have online. Rude. That pretty much sums it up. Everytim3 I go in this store every employee I speak with has an attitude. Today, it was Wade. I just bought an older home a few months ago and I have many projects to going on at one time. Contractors in and out, my mom either stays with everyone at the house or I do, the other goes with them to Lowes or home depot to buy what they need. Well excuse me for not keeping track of every little move they make but Wade treated me like I had mange just for a $75 return, of which I DID pay cash for, but my mom has he receipts becaus we I stayed home with the workers and she came to the store with the other workers. I offered to call her to give him the info and he had no response. Thanks, I was going to make a purchase Wade, but I think I'll take my business back to Home Depot. I have spent thousands there because they have excellent customer service anyway. Thank you for proving to me that Lowes is not a good place to shop. Not to mention, last time I tried to return stuff they weren't able to accept returns that day so I rented a truck and it cost me $20 for nothing. I hate this store. FURTHERMORE, TO REALLY PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE, THEY REFUSE TO TAKE MY CHECKS WHICH IS OBSURD AND EMBARRASSING. Thank you. read more
