Stuck in storm door purgatory. Four months. Still not fixed. In November 2025, I bought a storm door from Lowe's and paid extra for professional installation. The install was done in early December. The installer drilled the bottom-lock shock into the wrong place -- multiple times -- leaving a cluster of holes and splintered damage in my painted wood door frame. Not small screw holes. Not normal wear. Repeated mis-drilling into finished exterior trim. And guess what, it's still not right. I'll have the same cluster on the other side when they mount the shock correctly. Lowe's has agreed to replace the storm door. But when it comes to the damaged door frame? Their solution is to smear wood filler into a dozen holes and paint over it. This is finish-grade, painted trim that matches the exterior of my home. Wood filler is not a restoration. It will not match the wood grain. It will not look original. It will always show. And there is additional damage beyond just the holes. For nearly four months I've been told this issue has been "upchanneled." No real updates. No one coming back out to properly evaluate the damage. No accountability for the subcontractor who caused it. It honestly feels like they're trying to wait me out so I'll accept a cheap cosmetic patch instead of a proper repair. If you're considering paying Lowe's for installation services, understand that if something goes wrong, you may be stuck in escalation limbo while your home sits damaged. Sat. 3/21/26 , apparently Lowe's in Tiger point was slammed with 60 orders. Great for business if you can fulfill the orders... which, that day, was a problem. Evolve or lose customers. read more

Ordered 28 pieces of sheetrock to be delivered. Corners of over half were severely broken and unusable. Refused the order/sent it back to store. Lowes refunded the order minus the delivery charge. My husband and I purchased a riding lawnmower from the Gulf Breeze Lowe's. We paid for delivery and maintenance plan! Asked that the mower and bagger be fully assembled upon delivery. We were told they did not have that mower in stock and it would have to be ordered! Waited approximately 7 days! Then we were told that bagger could not be assembled and that the delivery time they gave us was not going to happen! They finally agreed to assemble the bagger, however the bagger was not assembled correctly and it did not even fit the lawnmower. After going back up there, they send us home with a part to attach that might work. However, it was the same problem, the bagger tube did not fit and would not stay connected. After another trip back up to the store, They said they would deliver another one, and pick the original mower up! Monday comes around five days later, and no one shows with the delivery! I call 800 number, because the store refuses to answer the phone, they connect me with someone and we find out the order was cancelled. After going back up there and demanding they pick up the mower and give us our money back, they tell us they can't pick up until 5 days later! And they can't return our money until the item is back in the store. We finally agreed to wait until Friday! Friday comes and they tried to say that we weren't home and that they called, which was a lie! We were home and there wasn't a phone call! My husband tried calling several times and if the phone was answered, they hung up on him! Someone he finally got ahold of said they would pick up next day! We paid $3200.00 for this lawnmower and just want it to work, be picked up and give us our money back! We will be going into Pensacola to Home Depot or to Ace Hardware in Gulf Breeze. We are done with Lowe's! Don't buy anything that needs to be assembled or delivered from Lowe's! read more

We purchased window coverings for all the windows in our new home. Alicia helped us and was excellent. When the shades were installed the one in our dining room was broken and would not retract. The installer told me he would order a new one and it would arrive in about 3 weeks. About a month went by and we hadn't heard anything. I called and was re routed though several departments until we finaly determined that the replacement was never ordered. They had to credit me for the broken one and I had to purchase a new blind. The replacement blind was $80 more than we originally paid because the blinds were on sale when we bought them. They assured me they would credit us the difference. The second blind arrived about 3 weeks later. I told them I would install it. When we picked up the new blind it was more damaged than the first one. After about an hour in the store we were finally able to return the damaged blind and reorder a replacement again. After 3 weeks went by the new blind came in. When I picked it I asked about the $80 dollar credit. A very frustrated manager said that we would have to wait for Alicia to handle it. Alicia was off that day. The manager told us that once Alicia was in that she would handle the credit. I have continued checking and no credit has been applied so far. Alicia was wonderful to work with. Pleasant and knowledgeable. The front end managers, not so much. I have had to go back twice, reorder my broken blind, install it myself and pay more for the blind. I thought they would be a little more understanding. Alicia gets 5 stars. Lowes Gulf Breeze gets 1 star. read more

I purchased a refrigerator and it was delivered on May 6. The doors were taken off, in order for it to fit through our front door. The delivery people put the doors back on but could not hook up the ice maker as our line is copper. They left and I called a plumber. The plumber came the next day and hooked up the line. Water started pourring out from under the fridge. The installation team did not hook the line in the freezer door back up after they took off the door. The plumber rehooked that up . I was so happy, until... I opened the fridge door and it fell all the way back with a jerk and a squeek. I called and let Lowes in Pensacola know that she fridge side was squeaking and jerking when open. They sent a repair team on Sat . The team informed me they did not know what was wrong and would put a note into Lowes and that I should call Monday. I called the Pensacola on Fairfield near my home as I had no idea the fridge was delivered by Gulf Breeze Lowes. The person I spoke with attempted to blame me and told me I should have called Saturday so they could have fixed it. I became upset and informed her the team said to call Monday. She said I should have known. What am I a mind reader? Anyway, she lets me know it came from Gulf Breeze and I should call them. I did but the main number kept offering a 100.00 reward with no options. I was getting more frustrated, hung up and called the Pro desk. Someone answered, apologized and told me they would connect me to the service desk. Then gave me a number in case the call dropped. The call dropped. And, the icing on the cake, they gave me a disconnected number. I called the Pro desk back but after 4 minutes of ringing, I called corporate customer service. They answered immediately and at that point, I was on a second phone, my husband's and was allowing the other phone to continue to ring. I explained to the rep that I was on the other phone just ringing. After 7 minutes someone answered the phone. I explained what was going on and he seemed very confused. I told him the door squeeked and how I had had to have a plumber also hook the freezer door side back up as the water was disconnected by the first delivery team. He was somewhat rude until I informed him I had corporate on the line. He also decided he was finished with the call and said something like, if you are finished, I am hanging up. However, I told him "no!" I was not sure what I wanted but he wanted off the phone and before hanging up let me know he would call back in 10 minutes. He did not. Bottom line, I will be out an extra 150 or so to get the replacement fridge hooked up with no recourse and that will put the total up to around 300.00 on top of the cost of the fridge. This, in my opinion, is ridiculous. I would encourage to throroughlty check where you purchase an appliance and the follow up service. This, is my experience, good luck with yours! There were 6 self check-out lanes open and 1 lane open with a sales clerk. That line was 5 customers deep. They are basically forcing us as customers into self-checkout at this point. The associate working was navigating 5 people in self-checkout line at one time and she was placed, by her manager, in a position where no one leaves happy or with a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I would certainly never recommend Lowes for any of the larger items that would require delivery (which includes larger/expensive items such as appliances, etc.) because Lowes has screwed up delivery repeatedly. A few examples: 1) About 3 years ago I was renovating a home and ordered all new kitchen appliances - fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, etc. I ordered online and checked the box for afternoon delivery due to my work schedule. Despite that, whoever Lowes contracted with to deliver repeatedly tried to show up at 8 am when I was at work. Nothing I said, did, and no box I checked which offered me an option for an afternoon delivery window made any difference. It was an ongoing struggle of errors until I finally had to give up and take a morning off because Lowes couldn't get it together on their end with delivery. 2) Also about 3 years ago I ordered a set of unfinished cabinets for that same house. One of the units was defective and I asked the delivery people to return it to Lowe's when they offered to do so. But then I came to find out that apparently they never did actually return it to Lowe's (no idea what they actually did with it) and the situation wasted a good chunk of my time in reaching out to the store manager to arrange a refund for the defective unit that the delivery people never took back to the store as indicated, so apparently they are shady on top of incompetent. 3) Several weeks ago I let my rental management company talk me into using Lowes to deliver a refrigerator to my rental property (different house) because Lowes was closest, even though they acknowledged that Lowes delivery is highly problematic. Huge mistake. Ordered a white refrigerator online and Lowes delivered a stainless steel unit instead. They never said a word about changing the color without any authorization and the tenants were so desperate to get a fridge installed to replace the broken one that they didn't call to alert us. All the other appliances in the rental are white so now they don't match and it looks terrible. One would think that Lowes would need some kind of authorization to deliver and install something that is different than what was ordered. Who does business this way? Shady people, that's who. That is the last straw for me as a Lowes customer. I'll run in there to pick up something fast and cheap like lightbulbs, batteries, etc. but never again do I intend to purchase any big ticket items or those that require delivery. Whatever contractor Lowes is using for delivery service is so substandard and creates such a pain in the *** for the customer to then need to straighten out the constant delivery errors that I will henceforth spend my money at a different retailer like Home Depot, etc. read more

So today I went to get lavender plants because they were 3 for $12.00 well I went and checked out with my other things and didn't realize it till I started walking to my vehicle. I went back to the lady who checked me out and she told me to bring my receipt to customer service and I explain to customer service about it and she went and talk to a manager and told me they weren't on cell which was fine so I returned the lavender plants and as I was leaving, I informed the lady who checked me out that they weren't on sale and she said that I should go and take a picture of the area where the sign was and the plants and show the manager so I did, and the cashier that was working the customer service at 4:30pm said that she thought it was a flower and not a herb or a vegetable so she went and talk to the manager that was working the front what short hair she was a older lady and she told me that if they were on sale, they would've rang up, which I was like OK that's fine. I just wanted to show you the picture of the sign and where the plants were so the manager offered to ring me up for the three of them for $12 and I declined, because I told her she already gave me the money back for them and I wasn't about to buy them again so moral to the story is I was just trying to show her that they were an herb and that they were in the correct spot, and that I wanted them, but I refused to buy them after she wanted to give them to me just to please me at that point. Purchased a washer/dryer to be delivered and installed. Both are defective ... water all over the utility room floor. called and they won't answer the phone at the store. so I called the 800 number and told them of the issues. Said they would have a manager call back same day ... This was 6 days ago and still haven't heard back. Called again today and got no resolution ... total runaround. They said they would call within 24 hours ... but to call back if I hadn't heard from them. Have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at Lowes through 30 years in the real estate business. Lowes always does a 10% military discount so always happy to shop here! As to why I decided to rate a hardware store, it's because of the amazing service. We came in for some deck repair essentials (thanks to some very well behaved pups). It was very easy to get an employee to help us locate the lumber we needed, as well as cut to specifications. After a couple cracks in the product (the part I didn't even need), he (wish I remembered his name) insisted on a discount. We were quickly given a discount voucher and completed our purchase. Unfortunately I have had very poor experiences with Lowe's in general lately and this one in particular. For one, this Lowe's gave us a dented whirlpool refrigerator with the ice maker in the door not working so we asked for a replacement. After 21 days I had two workers show up at my house after not having heard from Lowe's at all during this period even though the callback number was corrected on the My Lowe's account and with the customer service representative at the Gulf Breeze store. That all being said, they showed up at my doorstep on a Saturday morning only to tell me they didn't have our refrigerator in stock and to see if they could fix mine. They couldn't obviously, so they said I should receive my new one in a week. We will see! read more

I have tried to find out where to leave a review on the Lowe's webpage, but I can do it here. This store has amazing employees and always what I need. I wanted to talk about two separate departments specifically tho. The mill works department recently helped me have a door installed. The door was in place a month ahead of schedule due to the amazing hard work done by Josh in being able to fix a part of my previous order, and expedite my service dates. This was not part of my original scheduled plan, but he was able to get it done any way. This is the type of costumer service that sets this store apart from people that just work at Lowe's. The second person I want to give a shout out to is Jarad from the lawn section just to the left as u walk in. This guy has the energy and positive attitude that is infectious. His attitude is only surpassed by his knowledge, or what is effective for the local area. My wife refers to Jarrod as the guy who knows everything. It this type of service that I will actually miss the Lowe's in Gulf Breeze as my family moves across the country. read more

Do NOT use for any type of floor installation. The company they use is late and has zero respect for customer service. Had tile installed a year again-lack of attention to detail and shoddy job. Tried again and had carpet installed today. After pushing the job once, was told he would be here between 9-11. Then received a call asking if we could push the install time. I told them no due to other obligations. Zero respect for my time the installer was extremely late and neither Lowes nor Service Pro could get ahold of him. I have on a regular basis come to depend on my local Lowes for advise on doing projects and helping me with various projects in my home. I have for the most part received helpful information and excellent customer service. Today I went into hardware section to find screws with the right finish to match a light fixture I am trying to replace. I wanted to attach a decorative cover plate to my existing mounting bracket that holds the light fixture securely to my ceiling. The older representative wearing a camo Lowes vest kept insisting the decorative plate is what needed to be screwed into my existing bracket fixture in the ceiling. He and I almost had a shouting match in your store. I maybe a woman but I know that is the mounting bracket is the part that actually supports the light fixture in place not the decorative cover. I was talked down to by a chauvinist trying to explain to me incorrectly how to attach my light fixture. I can't even call it "mansplaining" because what he was saying was so incorrectly wrong. I have never been treated that way in your store before. He was attempting to be so condescending like I was a little woman who couldn't possibly know what I was talking about. I was upset but luckily I calmed down and found another employee, Shawn helped me. He suggested a bolt to accomplish what I wanted to do and that indeed the mounting bracket is what supports the light fixture in place. He was courteous and very helpful. But my overall experience was tainted by the "gentleman" in the hardware section, you might want to remind him that 1950's are over. I dont even know why i bother going here for things. Used to be great, everything stocked and always had what i needed. Over the past year, things dramaticly changed for the worse. Management told me they are cutting back on in-store inventory and making alot of things website orders or special orders. I went in 3 weeks ago looking for aluminum 3/16 long rivets, shelf was empty. I went in yesterday, guess what? Still empty. Asked the hardware guy what was up, he scanned the sku and they have been out since october 3, but "they were on order". The simple small things are what agrivates me the most. End of september i needed 1/4 -20 stainless panhead screws 1 1/4- 1 3/4, not even a particular size, they had ZERO. They only had a few small sizes and nothing over 3/4" length. The hardware guy says they are restructuring the department and cant order anything until after october 18. It seems everything i need they dont have or dont have enough. I dont have this issue at the "orange home improvement store". Heck, ace hardware has a better selection. This make no sense either, after around 6-7pm they close all checkout lines except one. It doesnt matter if there is 10 people in line, only one lane. I asked the manager why and he replied to cut down costs. I asked wouldnt it make more sense to have the one sole cashier work the self checkout line instead? Same amount of manpower, but now you have 4 lanes open instead of one. The cashier make the same pay at one register or working the self checkout, where 4x the volume can make checkout purchases. The manager says its a good idea, but in the evenings they dont have many customers. DUH! I wonder why? You never have the stuff people need and if you do, who wants to stand in line for 20 minutes for a .12 pvc fitting or any other small items. I try to make a list so when i go to the depot, i can justify the extra drive. At least i know they will have what i need and at 10 minutes before closing, they orange store has 4 lanes open and 4 more at self checkout. I quit going to lowes until they straighten these issues out. It only makes me mad to really need a simple part NOW, and getting a dumb response about why they dont have it. Just an average shopper angry at the ridiculous cutbacks in the wrong areas that is actually causing lowes to loose alot of business. read more
