A few months ago, my guy and I went to this location to pick up a grill... Because it's the season! There was no one really around in the grilling department, so he went off to find someone, while myself, and my daughter (in stroller) stalked by the grill/smoker we wanted (like it was going somewhere.) He first tried in paint, to see if they could page somebody.... that person was texting. He came back to me, and I flagged someone down. We are able to get the grill we want rolled out to us... with some more supplies, we are off to checkout ! The woman who checked us out, was very nice, but didn't know what she was talking about. I am a Lowe's card holder, and get the 5% off nonsense. She told us that if we got $20 more in items, that we would receive interest free for 6 months. Sounded fine.. what's $20? My husband runs off and gets a fish basket. She rings up the fish basket, and still, no interest free option shows up. She asks other cashiers, and says the amount isn't right. That we needed another $75 odd dollars to get interest free financing. No thanks. So, off we go. With the grill on a dolly, a cart of goodies, and the stroller. The cashier did not offer to page anybody, and I guess we just didn't think of it. We must have looked funny, trying to manage all this. Struggling in the parking lot, we notice two employees leaning on the wall of the building out front, chit chatting away and relaxing in the shade. Not assisting customers, not organizing things, but BS'ing.... they stood and watched us try and get to our car and load it. When returning the cart and the dolly to the cart wranglers, my fella asked the two employees if they saw us, and why neither of them tried to help the situation. Their answer, Yes, they saw us, but no one "paged" them to help. Unreal. I sent emails and emails to managers, but I don't think that anything really came out of it. I accidentally sent it to the manager on Marks Street, and after waiting for this one's manager to write me, the manager on Marks contacted him himself. I gave the Boulder HWY manager the receipt # and time we came in, and never heard from him again.... Gee thanks. The only reason why we go to this one is because it is so close, and with a new baby, I like to be close to home, in case of.... accidents. read more

Lowes claims to like the military but they don't! My boyfriend, a 20 year retired Air Force veteran, and I Went to pick up a few things at the Lowe's in Henderson on Marks. As we're checking out we asked if we could use the military discount in self checkout and were told yes. When we began to ring up our items the girl pulled us out of line and said if you're going to use the military discount you have to use it through a cashier. She rang up our purchase and my boyfriend presented his military ID she stated, "No, you have to be registered to get a military discount." She gave us a form to fill out online and told us that maybe we could get the discount the next time we visited. Even when we explain that we've been coming to the same Lowes for years and getting the discount by just showing the military ID she refused. Confused, when we got home I called and spoke to the manager Derek, I asked him when this had gone into effect. He stated it's been like that for years. I explained that we've never filled out a form before and have always gotten the military discount, he became very abrupt and stated "you're either mistaken or have gone to some other Lowe's." His great customer service continued by him insinuating I was lying, yelling at me and then hanging up on me! read more

We went in today to buy some paint for some house renovations. Kevin in the paint department was extremely attentive and helpful. To top it off, he bought our daughter a lollipop with his own money (even after we insisted he didn't have to do that). He was incredibly kind and we were so happy with our visit because of him! Typical current experience of a store using the COVID 19 pandemic as an excuse for continued terrible customer service. It took us over 30 minutes to locate an employee to cut a piece of carpet. During this time numerous other employees hanging out in the back wasting time and disregarded us after I asked them for help 3-4 times. No adult supervision in this store. Nothing different about this place. They don't really care about customers. Customers are treated like an annoyance. When we finally found help he actually had the nerve to ask us where his department employees were!! He said we should have been able to find them! I spent 40 minutes looking and testing tool cabinets, when I finally decided on one I was told "sorry, we don't have that available". - sure you do, it's right here... "We can't sell displays" - I want to spend $800 on a product that's right in front of me and you're telling me you're not allowed to sell it?! "Sorry" Seriously, if you can't sell something, don't display it for sale! At least put a "not currently available" sign on it or something. What a waist of my time. Purchased a security door and installation March of last year. Understand the door is never opened and is only used to let the cool air in. 99.9 % of the time we go through the garage. Last month letting company out the door completely fell off. Spoke with Lowe's via the phone. They said that it was 2 months out of warranty and nothing they would do. Went there with pictures and a spoke with a supervisor who said he would speak with his supervisor and give us a call. It's now a week later and no phone call. Installers never anchored the door to anything, they literally drilled into straight stucco. Fortunately no one was hurt. Very disappointed. read more

I went in today at 1:58pm to return a product. This lady probably in her late 50's, with glasses, straight hair and bangs told me the product wasn't theirs...oops my bad, no big deal. I was thinking out loud and said "Oh, I probably bought it at Home Depot" and she replied "I have no idea where you got it" talk about being rude. My family and I go in there all the time. We probably won't be going back. I don't need to be treated like s- -t for an honest mistake. You guys need to have people working the front who have good customer service skills. She's not it. My recent experience with a bathroom remodel has been awful. I paid for the remodel back in late January/early February. They told me it would be completed by April 1st. They did not begin the demolition by until the first week in July. It is now August and it is still not finished. What they've done is awesome but I want my house back. Also when they did begin every time I turned around they wanted more money. They didn't add in the inspector and plans, etc. I refused to pay any more money. They gave me the bid and I paid it. They are the ones who are suppose to know what they are doing. That's why I hired someone. Oh they didn't order enough tile either and they no longer carry that tile. My answer good luck finding it or I'll pick out something similar for the same price. They found more tile. read more

Scheduled measuring for carpet and laminate flooring. The person who came out to measure was very detailed and even called Lowe's about a question I had on laminate and carpeting in one area. We went over the areas that were measured for carpet and areas measured for laminate. I signed off stating that I reviewed the measurements. Today I received two telephone calls from Lowe's regarding the quotes. The first advised that I could not receive a quote until I came into the store to pick out laminate and carpet samples. Advised I gave both at the time I scheduled the measurements. He checked and found the laminate but not the carpet sample. Was told he would send the info back for a quote. I asked how this was overlooked, he did not know. The second telephone call was from a young lady who told me that I had to come into the store to advise on what areas were measured for carpet versus what areas were measured for laminate. I advised that the person who came out to measure had the information, to check with him. We went round and round about this information and I was finally told there was nothing else she can do for me unless I came into the store. This is total incompetence. I reviewed the different areas with the person who came out to measure. Cannot figure out why Lowe's cannot access this information from someone who came out to measure from their store What happened to Customer Service? read more

I've been shopping at the Lowes on South Boulder Hwy for the last 20 years. Today was by far the best customer service that I have ever received. I'm not one to do too many reviews but Curtis really went above and beyond to help me find a work bench I've been trying to find for a while. Everything has been out of stock for everything I have been looking for. I am beyond excited I finally found this in stock with Curtis's help. It was beyond refreshing to have someone really care about my needs. Most of the time I'm referred to the website and to look for myself. By Far the worse experience ! I went to Lowes to purchase appliances on 9/11/16. The purchase itself was a pleasant experience. My Sales representative was Brittney. She Took the time to price match everything for me. I bought a bundle all under 3k. She did mention I had to pay $150 for the installation of the Microwave. Of course, I paid the $150 because I wasn't going to install it myself. I bought a wine cooler instead of a dishware because I don't use dishwashers. Brittney said I was all set, they will call me to install everything when the items arrive ACCEPT my microwave. SHE FAILED TO MENTION ONE MINOR AND VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL! They do not install wine coolers. To my surprise, when the appliances were delivered to my house the guys told me they DO NOT install wine coolers. They left the wine cooler sitting in the middle of my kitchen and took off. I called Lowes immediately as I was told everything was going to be delivered and INSTALLED accept the microwave. I spoke to the Manager, James, Who called MIKE. Mike is the guy who installs microwaves for Lowes. James asked Mike to "take a look" at my Wine cooler when he came out to install my Microwave, to see if he was able to install it. Mike called me the next day to schedule . Extremely RUDE !! No customer service Im am surprised he is till in business with Lowes. I asked him for an evening appointment. He said he doesn't work pass 5pm. I then asked him for a weekend apt and his response to me was " I am all booked till the end of October. Keep in mind it was Sep 15 when this phone call took place. I asked him if he had other people that worked for him he said " nope I am the only guy who installs for that Lowes" I Called Lowes and expressed my concerns about MIke being "booked till the end of October" . I cant wait till the end of October to have my wine cooler install because if they cant install it I need to return it. Lowes only has "30 days customer satisfaction". After Lowes Spoke to Mike about my concerns, MIKE all of a sudden became "available". Mike called me a week later Sep 21,2016 to schedule. Lowes Calls me the next day to tell me MIke is not willing to come look at my wine cooler. Lowes has NO ONE ELSE OTHER THAN MIKE. I told Brittney i would like to return all 4 appliances! They lost a 3k deal and a customer forever I will never step foot at that Lowes again!! This is a review for Lowe's paint rebate program that they have. Be aware that when you buy paint, if you buy more than two, you need to have them on separate receipts or Lowe's will cheat you out of the rebates, giving you only the rebate for the lowest price thing in your cart. I purchased two 1 gallon cans of paint and two 5 gallon buckets of paint expecting to receive the buy one get one 50% off. 50% off of one gallon of paint and then 50% off of a 5 gallon bucket of paint. That is why I purchased like items. Instead what should have been a $130 rebate turned into a $45 rebate. Because they took the 50% off the 1 gallon size instead of the Corresponding size. After many emails and trying to get it made right I was told that In the rebate program it stated that only the lowest priced item would be given 50% off, but that if it was in two separate receipts, it would've been done the other way. Such a Deceptive way to do business. read more

I agree with Jessie B. on this store. Most Lowes' stores tend to hire a few really knowledgable employees and the rest are people just taking money or answering simple questions (i.e. what isle do you keep the Gorilla Snot on?) This store is clean, well organized, and I've run into really fabulous and accomodating employees here. There are so many reasons why you should come to Lowes to do your home improvement shopping, however I have one gripe. My and my husband purchased paint for our bathroom recently, a specific color from an actual color card. When the young man from the paint department mixed our color, he didn't make sure the can was centered and a lot of the dye that makes the color didn't end up in the can, it was all over the rim. We checked out without noticing and got the paint home. He ended up doing other projects and left me to paint the bathroom by myself. Not knowing anything about paint, I cracked the can open and started painting. Instead of a mellow green it was literally fleurescent, startling lime green. My bathroom was glowing like radioactive material. Seriously. It could blind you. Shortly after painting a good chunk of the bathroom, I finally allowed myself to be worried. I thought my eyes had been playing tricks on me at first and had consoled myself with the fact I don't know what I'm doing and it was probably just my bad eyesight. Wrong. My husband jumped when he saw the color and pointed out the dye that was all over the side of the can instead of in it. Insisting that they messed up, he took the can back. His argument was clear: we paid for "Lettuce Alone" and ended up getting something that resembled "Radioactive Waste From A Cartoon." Even though his silly wife used a good amount of the paint, it wasn't the color that they sold us, they obviously messed up and didn't tell us (I doubt the kid overlooked the dye on the side of the can as he sealed it shut). He would like an exchange please. The manager of the department refused and he was turned away. He tried to see a general manager, but they told him they weren't going to waste any more time debating the issue. Paint was non-refundable, even if it wasn't the color we paid for. After calling corporate Lowes my husband got his exchange. But we wasted so much time. I completely realize that under normal circumstances you can't just bring back a half filled paint can and say, "I want to return this." However, the title of the color card was in bold print on the can, and it wasn't this color. Just toss the can in the "Oops Paint" section you have in the back and keep a loyal customer. read more

I Had Lowe's put in a cellular shade for my kitchen. First I was charged incorrectly so I had to add 75$ to my install order cause of a employee mistake on my order. Took a while after to get it installed. Estimated install date was the 2nd and didn't get installed I till the 5th. I went back to the store for a second time just to find out why no one had called. Just kinda unorganized everyone was nice but the communication isn't there. It's bad enough to had to pay more for a mistake I did t make. On top of that when they came to install it didn't even fit in the window even though they had already came and taken the measurements..facepalm. Next time I will just do it my self. read more

Jordan, a customer service specialist, was extremely helpful and nice in making keys. He was chatty and friendly--two qualities I appreciate in a customer service setting. I stopped him, asking him where I could get keys made, even as he was doing something else, and he wasn't irritated (even though he could have been). I have been here several other times as well, and each time it's a more pleasant experience than I would have expected. It's sort of out of the way for most Hendersonites, but I recommend it for a big-box hardware store. read more

I guess maybe I am not handy? I am a regular at this store, but I always park by the garden area entrance and stay in that section. I think I may have only entered the main section of the store ONCE. All of the employees I have encountered are friendly and helpful. The garden center is well stocked and has a good selection of flowers and plants. They have a guarantee on their trees, if they die within 30 days, they will give you a refund (the same may apply to their plants). I love purchasing my Christmas tree here every season. They have a large selection, with trees of every size. They will trim the tree for you and put a net over it as well. They will even help you out to your car, and last year, after I realized that I no longer had an SUV, the nice young kid helped me shove the tree in my trunk and tie it down so I could get it home safely. I only live a few blocks away, thank goodness. Overall, it's a great store. It's convenient to my house, so if I need anything handy, I will continue to go there. read more

Nothing over the top. My daughter and I had to stop at Lowes to purchase a step ladder to put of curtains. I asked a gentlemen in the paint area who was talking with a fellow employee where the step ladders were and I felt like I interrupted them. He quickly responded, Row 18 on the left (I think) and I was on my way. Home depot, IMO seem a little more helpful and I have never felt like I was bothering them. For those unaware, when Lowe's advertises free delivery they don't tell you that they hire another company. It's called DSI and they won't return a phone call. When delivering a refrigerator they badly scratched our new laminated floor. They are not repairing it and Lowe's says they are not responsible. We were never told they used an independent company for delivery. Lowe's got our money but have left us hanging. It's already been almost 3 months and unless we take someone to court we will be the losers. I will never buy anything from Lowe's again. Bought a dryer. Told them I needed a stacking kit. Delivery people come to my house and say I need a stacking unit, which wasn't included in the invoice so no dryer. Went to store and bought the stacking kit and rescheduled for the next day. Never delivered. Called the store 4 times to finally reach the young man who "scheduled" it. He rescheduled me for the following day and took my time we needed. I called the delivery company to make sure and the delivery was scheduled for the exact time I told them not. Ordered 5 interior pre-hung doors with installation. All were the wrong size when delivered. Re-ordered - delayed project 2 weeks. Lowe's subcontracted with Champagne Handyman to install doors. After install, 1 of the doors swings open on it's own which means it is not plumb. Complained to Champagne and Lowe's (Manager Dave). Never fixed and never asked for feedback about the install. read more

My husband and I went to order carpet yesterday.. We had our measurements taken in late Novemeber and had ordered one room already. Which by the way took 5 weeks to have installed. Apparently, carpet is a very popular Christmas gift. We picked 3 different samples to get pricing on to help make our decision. The sales associate gave us a quote for 2 of them, using the previous measurements taken and in their system. Because one of the samples was patterned she said we had to get new measurements. Ok, I bought that. We decided not to wait and order one she had already quoted us. All of a sudden, she said they only keep the measurements in the system for 90 days and ours were no longer there. Really? She justed used them to give us pricing. When we said something to her, she then said she would have to ask someone else about it, who had already clocked out and we would have to wait. This is not the first time we have had trouble with there associates, we have continued to shop there because it is convenient. We have learned to do our research before hand, so we dont have to ask any questions. We will not be going back after this. In our opinion she was lazy, didnt want to do her job and had no idea what she was doing. They need better training or stop hiring people that are clueless! read more

Overall a great store. Just got a house so I'm there once a week or so. The cashiers are super nice. Only thing that was kind of upsetting was they would not price adjust a grill that I had owned for a little over 30 days that went on sales for $80 off. We just came from Lowes on Boulder Highway where we were waited on by possibly the worst cashier of all times. You know when people say this person is clearly in the wrong line of work. Well cashier S153CW1 899784 is clearly in the wrong line of work. We had put some rugs on hold to pick up later. We had received the call saying they were on hold. When we went to get the rugs they had not been put on hold they were just sitting by the back register. So we got the rugs ($350 worth BTW) and carted them to the front on our own. Lowes was too busy and we were clearly making them do something the weren't used to and didn't want to (IE Service Their Customer). So we took our rugs to the counter. This is where we encountered Ms personality. We wanted to help by telling them we had gotten our own rugs. This is when the interrogation started. This cashier treated us like we were such a bother and she was too busy for us even though when we got in line we were the only ones. If I were the GM of Lowes I'd take a hard look at my sales force because customers are the reason you are open and if you keep treating people like this your sales are surly going to be a disappointment. We are remodeling our rental and would have spent done it through Lowes. Home Depot will get the rest of our money. read more

Your customer service stinks. I went to purchase a barbecue grill paid for it as it needed to be ordered. I was suppose to get a phone call the following day on the estimated time it would take. I waited a week to call and get an estimate time. The person that answered my call said someone would return my call, but no one returned my call. I went to Lowe's and got a refund since no one could give an estimate when I would expect it. Customer service gave me a refund and didn't even apologize for their poor service. I live close by and go to this particular store for small purchases instead of driving 20 minutes to the nearest home depot on Sunset and Marks. If I ever were to meet one person competent in this store I would be shocked. This morning I went looking for a drill bit, a Torx 30 bit, the customer service rep in the store said "what is that" I said it looks like a star and I will find it but thanks.... Then he asked me if I needed anything else, I reluctantly said I need a flexible drill bit loader. He had a perplexed look on his face like I asked him to explain the theory of relativity.
