If I could give this store zero stars I would. I'VW spent thousands of dollars at Lowe's and up until Saturday had been VERY PLEASED with the service. That is UNTIL SATURDAY. The people at this store, PARTICULARLY in CUSTOMER SERVICE are VERY DISHONEST INDIVIDUALS. SPECIFICALLY PATRICE, DANIEL AND EVEN the MANAGER JOSE!! They CHANGED the price of a product that was listed on LOWE'S website AFTER I was insisting the product be sold at the price it was listed for on the site. It was found the price on the site was INCORRECT but instead of them HONORING the price it was listed at, PATRICE & DANIEL went into the system AFTER I was insisting it be sold to me at the price on the website and chaged it to the amount and REFUSED to HONOR the price that was in the system before they corrected it. Avoid this Lowe's and this store at all cost if you are buying appliances. I have never experienced such poor and incompetent service. I bought a washer and dryer mainly because I found a Lowe's coupon that made the purchase slightly cheaper. Additionally when buying online the delivery time indicated was 3-7 days. Well 2 weeks later, no one ever called to arrange delivery and it is impossible to reach anyone, especially the delivery people at Lowe's. I went in person and the delivery desk was closed and I was told by a manager that someone would call (well that didn't happen). A delivery attempt was actually made and failed and I was thrown into the same vicious cycle of trying to reach someone at the Lowe's store or even their delivery company (XPO) to no avail. My suggestion if you disregard this review is to pretend you have purchased something at Lowe's that needs delivery and then try to call the store to see if you can schedule the delivery. This process should let you appreciate what you would be getting into and believe me you can do without that nightmare and stress of dealing with these people. read more

I have a horrible experience having Lowes to remodel my kitchen. My project had been extended yet again due to another broken pantry cabinet. About 75% of the kitchen is done and cabinets are installed but it's just the pantry cabinet that we are having issues with. It was broken the first time when it was delivered so the installers told us that the pantry is broken so you need to call Lowes and have them make and deliver a new one. Okay...no problem. Things happens and I'm a very understanding and patient person. So I placed a new order and Lowes said it'll take about 2 weeks to build it and then have it delivered. Alright, so 3-4 weeks had passed and I received the new delivery. I had schedule to have the installers do the installation on a Saturday. When the installers opened the box, our pantry was cracked again! Really?!? I don't know if the delivery guys are mishandling or careless but this is UNACCEPTABLE! The delivery guys were not Lowes. They were like local courier service because when I took a glance of their delivery truck, it was not Lowes. Maybe they are the ones that are mishandling the boxes?!? In addition, the installers said that not all boxes were delivered. There were missing parts. I don't know but this is beyond absurd! Since the beginning of our kitchen remodeling, it has been about 2 months already. I mean, I'll shave off a few weeks due to my work schedule but still...I'm paying $11,000! I want this done already so that I can finish my project. I don't recommend anyone to use Lowes to remodel the kitchen. The 18 months financing is a good way to pay the kitchen but maybe I should have stuck with my original option which was Home Depot. read more

If I could give this Lowe's zero stars I would. My husband and I drove 25 miles because it said online that this Lowe's had 4 of the items we needed in stock. We went to the aisle where the product was supposed to be and there were none on the shelves. I found someone to help us and they said they would find someone to come and help us right away. 20 minutes later nothing. I went looking for someone else and was told the same exact thing. I finally got fed up and went to the front of the store and spoke to a manager. The manager came and said the person that was to suppose to help us was out to lunch and would be back in 30 minutes if we wanted to wait. His response and the attitude of the workers towards us as customers is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this Lowe's at all. These Lowe's employees need to seriously go through some customer service training. I am going to take my money elsewhere. read more

I asked a cashjer to call the forklift guy to bring down 15 bags of concrete and after her calling about 4 times and finally "John" Spanish guy said I have a lot of customers where I told him he needs to change his Cuban mentality to thrive in customer service where he told me to eat shit in front of 7 customers. Very bad experience. Lowes (and sub-contractors) installed 14 windows at my home (white PVC impact windows, north miami area) about a month ago. Almost every window has some type of damage or imperfection. The manufacturing was sloppy (uneven window trims, cocking oozing all over) and the delivery guys were awful (two cracked windows, 5 others with major dents). Installation guys were ok. Do yourself a favor and do not work with these folks. The "Installs" team at Lowes is generally unresponsive and slow to get anything done quickly. Lowes has been pointing fingers for the last couple weeks and does not want to take responsibility for the poor quality. Hopefully, there will be a resolution soon and either a significant discount is applied or the damaged windows are replaced. read more

We purchased almost 5 years ago a set of Allan Roth Lawley Conversation patio chairs and spoke with Lowe's customer service in an attempt to get them repaired as the wicker on the front of both chairs was cracking. Customer service advised that they could not repair the wicker and worse part was that Allan Roth had discontinued those chairs. The rep advised me that she would attempt to locate a store that still had them. She attempted and apologized no Lowe's had those chairs. She devised me to go to along with receipt and that customer service their would give me store credit or change them for other chairs. We arrive at store and found that Allan Roth had a new line called the Atworth conversation patio chairs. They were very nice and decided that we had no other choice but to exchange our chairs as we could not get them repaired. We spoke with Karla and we showed her our emails with customer service and she advised that a supervisor was the only one that could approve the return. Shortly thereafter, George arrived read our emails looked at the pictures we provided and gave his approval. We went home got our chairs and returned and picked up our new chairs. Yes, we will miss those chairs but our very happy with the service, attention and our new chairs. We liked the new chairs so much that we are contemplating buying the complete set of the Allan Roth Atworth conversation patio and the matching outdoor dining set. First time I get a bad experience. I've been been a loyal customer for the past 3 years since I bought my house. One thing I have done twice a year religiously was rent the shampoo machine from there and always returned it next day without a problem. Today was the first time I got charged a late fee because I was returning it an hour and a half late which in the past was never a problem and customer service did not seem to care. If I could give zero stars to this company, I would. Their assistant store manager Jose has very little ability to speak to customers. I came to return a pressure washer that is only been used a handful of times. I was told over the phone by Lowes service center that my machine has a 2 yr warranty. I was also told to bring the machine to the store and although I did not have the receipt, with the invoice number, date of purchase, and store number that I'd have no problem returning the product. I get to the store bring the machine to customer service who tells me to take the machine to the lawn dept. I arrive with the machine to the lawn dept who tells me I need to go back to customer service. Brief note: I'm a woman with a recently dislocated shoulder. No one offered help. At customer service I'm told that they can not look up my info and I'd need to speak to a manager (Jose). After some time, the Jose comes over. I explain the above. He proceeds to tell me policy. He then says, "we don't have to send out your machine for repair or replacement, we are doing this as a curtesy". At this point I'm furious. He says without the receipt he can not do anything. I tell him again that lowes service center told me to have them call him if there was an issue. He basically says no. Then offers to put the machine in my car. Jose couldn't even do his job. Simply call the customer service center... Nope Jose says that lowes customer service center by phone works for the store and the store makes the decision. What a horrible thought, the customer who buys from you almost every week you will not honor what your service center said you would honor. I guess it's back to Home Depot. They at least treat people with respect. Do not go to lowes! They obviously do not have a customer service dept or managers that care. read more

Upon returning it (cleaned) the lady did not look at the paperwork and assumed it was late when I made it cleared it was rented that same day. She was a bit rude as well. So, at first I was very impressed by the customer service politness and professionalism, but I take it back now. I put in an order for a regular front door for my apt. back in May. I picked it up Memorial Day weekend. since I live in a condo I have to reserve the elevator to bring the door in. Once I had the door in my apartment I had to wait till the contractor had time to schedule me in, once he got here and he put up the door we realized it was wrong size. I ordered and paid for a solid 80 by 36 in door, I recieved a 80 by 30 door!! at this point i called and dealt with manager who blamed it n the manufacturer. She agreed to have Lowes come and pick up the door, which took another week or so, then couple weeks went by until Lowes resolved their issue with manufacter. I once again again had to wait for correct door to arrive, Lowe's would give me a date and time as to when the delivery would be made, allowing me to reserve the elevator and making arrangements at work so I could be home for this, its been more than a handful of times that they don't show up!! It has cost me loss in money everytime i have to take away time for work. I have kept my cool all along. Last week I got the door again finally (hence this is going on since May) when I went to open the door about 2 days later, it was the correct size but wrong door!!! It was a door that required a glass in the middle, all i ordered was a solid slab wooden door. When I called back and spoke to the department manager Millie, she now is acting like she has no idea what is going on and treated me as if I was lying. If the shoes were reversed and for ex my credit card payment didn't go thru or was some problem they would be harrassing and calling me but when your the customer and they are wrong they have not once ven apologized and said they would get this fixed ASAP. I repeatedly asked if she had an email account so I could send her a picture of what I recieved which she ignored. They scheduled to come get the door last friday and yet once again did not show up. Today they should up, it will be another few weeks for door. This is absolutley not right in any way, I should not have to pay for the door at this point and they really need to expedite this due to their incompetence. So unless they miraculously make this up to me I have nothing positive to say and don't recommend shopping there unless you have the time and money to be dealing with a small issue for several months... read more

This review doesn't reflect my opinion about the employees in general, or the store per se. This is about the manager of this store. I use to go to this store frequently and I was very pleased until today when I meet the manager. Accidentally I left my car keys with my purse inside my car, and the only thing I managed to do when I realize it was asking the manager for help. He refused to do so saying that they couldn't do that because they were a Lowe's store, like implying they were no locksmiths. He looked for the security guard who was willing to help but didn't have tools or anything; even though he very kindly provided me with ideas. There was nothing that I could ask this manager that he would agree, he was negative and unreasonable, with a big smile and all, but offering no solution whatsoever. And then he just disappeared. During that waiting time I confirmed that the quality of a person's soul, his human condition, is measured by his ability to feel empathy, to bring comfort to someone who needs help. Maybe he was right when he said they were not allowed to help me open my car, and I understand that, but it was obvious he didn't want to bother, to make an extra effort and help find a solution to a customer that was already inside the store. I waited for more than an hour for the AAA until finally I recovered my keys and purse. I decided to share my thoughts with this young man, but that was the moment when he showed his true colors. Very kindly I began to tell him that he should take this advice like if a mother would be given it to him due to the fact that by his age he could be my son. When I recommended him that when someone ask him for help he should offer some solution, he erupted talking over me, not letting me finish what I was going to say, he said 'good morning' and walked away. I can't understand what kind of a manager is that that can't handle a customer that wasn't even angry or complaining about anything. What I know is that I will never put a foot in that store again. I rather drive a couple of miles more than going there again. Lowe's, such prestigious company, shouldn't allow having rude and uneducated people to represent them. read more
