Yeah, I'm a chick....and yeah I own a power drill. So when I have home improvement needs this Lowe's has become my one stop shop for most things handy. Being that it's located less than 3 miles from my front door, it's super convenient when your vanity light bulbs go out in the middle of a beautification session. Even though they may not always have exactly what I'm looking for, they are never so crowded I have to wait around looking for someone to help me. I wasn't to pleased with their plant selections this year or the prices, but they have clearance tables and their return/exchange process is so easy when you need to use it. I recently stopped in for new 2" blinds for the living room after a 7lb. little schiesse decided to use the previous blinds for dental floss. The ones I needed were super easy to find and even though I got my measurements wrong and had to exchange them the same day, both times I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes! I also snagged a great deal recently on shelving for the garage and got the shelves, brackets and bolts for under $60 (and if you're wondering...yep, I installed them myself)! read more

Store as everything you can possibly need. Been coming here for years and let me tell you one thing that bothers me the most and employees there too. There's an employee there named Michael who works in the pro department. Always asking if your card is a business card. And if it's not , he is steady bugging you to apple for one and won't stop bugging and that is so annoying. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only customer who has experience that. read more

The lack of knowledge on company policy and unhelpful service from the management is just outrageous. I have been apart of the Lowe's LAR program and disappointed that they can't process my returned items( still in the condition i bought) and this is in a duration of 3 days without any sort of help and as a loyal customer of more than 10 years, they still ask me for my ID and basic information that they already have in files. I asked them to look at the cameras to review the items I had brought to return. They processed them returned them but I got no receipt and now my items are put back on the shelf and they cannot find any proof of what I returned. They assumed I was not telling the truth and made me feel that my words and receipts and proof of another employee wasn't enough. Now I sit here today and wait again for 2 or more hours for them to do what I told them day 1. Do not come here. Invest your money at a different hardware store because this lacks everything from A to Z. read more

This store charged over $2000 to my account! I have never been here ever. In my entire life. I've never been to East Houston let alone this Lowe's. I spent an hour calling the store trying to speak to a manager. I kept getting transferred to different desks. Finally after 8 times calling back I reached a manager. The guy was completely unsympathetic and to be honest didn't seem comfortable with my issue or willing to help. He said "the bank will take care of it". I explained why doesn't the store cancel the charge. He just kept repeating that the bank should handle it as though this wasn't the first time this had happened. No explanation and a rude unhelpful attitude. There is something fishy going on with all this. I can just feel it. Someone needs to investigate this store and these fraudulent charges. The manager was a total prick and definitely had no concern that this was going. No desire to address or fix the issue. Never had worse customer service in my entire life. It is illegal to accept payment at a store without the customer or card present. I was in Taos New Mexico when this charge happened. WTF! Someone needs to look into this before it happens to more people. $2000 is a lot of money to my wife and I. I can't believe this. I can't believe I'm giving them 1 star. These ppl are ignorant, rude, disrespectful and don't care about customers at all, I applied once in person and they gave me an interview, off the bat I seen the associates being rude to an old man abt an purchase and talking to him like he's dumb. During the whole interview process I was told i would get a email if I didn't make the job or a call if I did so happen to make it. So get this, I've been waiting for about 7 weeks now prior to my interview and haven't had one email or call from lowes, this will be my 20th time calling every other day, all they did was transfer me to different ppl when I asked for the hiring manager and nun of the people were the hiring manager and left me on hold for 20 mins and hanged up and did this a good 5 times that I kept calling back to back due to them leaving me on hold and forgetting abt me and hanging up. Don't buy from here! We bought an electric range and got the 3yr EPP for it. After a year and a month, the door oven wasn't functioning correctly. We called the warranty program and experienced terrible customer service to get them to come fix the problem. They didn't even fix it right, they got the wrong color and now that we are trying to fix the color, they say they won't change that because it's not covered. So far nobody has been helpful in helping us find a solution for something they did incorrectly. We keep getting told we are going to hear back and never do. I'm the one who keeps calling. When we bought the item, we never intended for it to breakdown much less for item to be fixed with incorrect parts and look different if we needed to fix anything. What a joke Lowe's, so don't shop hear, go to the competition. read more

Worst customer service experience ever. The cashier acted like she didn't want to do her job. Messed up the register. They had to move me to another register. Same cashier. Then she couldn't get the freaking receipt to come out. A manager and another associate showed up, and they couldn't get the receipt to come out either. They acted like I had all the time in the world to deal with this. I don't. Wasted about 15 minutes of my precious time dealing with these employees to buy one item. When you buy a $200 item, you want a receipt. I never got my receipt. Called the corporate office number, and they were just as uncaring. Between the drive from this location to my home, the phone representative failed to assist me. He also kept me on hold for about half the time. I warned him before he put me on hold that if I am still on the phone with him when I pull up to my driveway, I am hanging up. Guess what? He never came back. And he never folded my problem about the receipt and didn't want to forward my complaint about poor customer service at the store. Sent a scathing email to corporate complaint about everyone involved. read more

We will NEVER purchase from Lowe's again. Not only did we receive poor customer service at 3 different locations, but the delivery service (3PD) was the worst delivery service ever. After finally getting a competent sales associate to ring up our refrigerator (which by the way, our only question was "when can you deliver?"-- how hard is it to just ring someone up?), we set the delivery date for four days later and we were told that it would be delivered between 7am-noon. We received an automated voice call the day prior saying it would be between 7-9PM (on a Friday night!!). We gave Lowe's one primary and one secondary contact number. On Friday at 6pm, the SECONDARY phone number received a missed call from an unknown number. We called the number back 3 times only to get the operator telling us that number is not in service. Finally at 7:30PM, the phone MAGICALLY rings with the delivery person saying he was at our house knocking and no one answered, which is odd considering 1) we were home and 2) neither the secondary or primary number received a call until AFTER he left--- why would he leave and then call??? We spent an hour on the phone with 3PD customer service. The delivery driver refused to turn around to deliver the appliance. Sounds like someone really wanted to be off on his Friday night. We never got the chance to speak with his supervisor. After waiting on CS hold for an hour, a rep finally told us the supervisor is assisting another customer-- which is either more BS or a great indication of how awful this company really is. I know that this issue is more with 3PD than with Lowe's; however, I expect a reputable company to find a competent delivery company to partner with-- especially when customers are paying thousands of dollars for quality customer service and goods. I'm thoroughly disappointed in Lowe's and 3PD and I will never purchase from them again! *Note, I'm also disappointed to even have to rank this place. Zero stars! read more

Ordered windows to be installed on 4/30/18 was told it would take 2 weeks to make them and they would be installed on 5/28/18. On 5/25/18 I called and was told the windows would arrive on the 1st of June. on the 3rd of June I called and was told the windows would arrive on the 7th of June meanwhile they have been paid in full. read more

This is the worst home improvement store i have been to, i live les than 6 min away but rather go to The Home Depot that is 20 min away just because the customer service really sucks at this Lowes...moved into Woodforest about 18 months ago and have been spending a lot of money ($15k) at The Home Depot and not at lowes because they are lazy and have no knowledge of the product that they sell. 1 star is too nice. This place is horrible. I come here because I have a company account I have to use. Been here multiple times over the past year. I've actually been helped once and that guy didn't listen to what I wanted and took me to the closest isle with the item closest to what I asked for. Most times I come in. Look all over the place for what I need. Squeezing between baskets of stuff I'm guessing they're eventually going to get to. Find out they don't have what I need or I just can't find it then have to hunt for better places to shop. This has been THE worst buying experience, I purchased fridge washer dryer dishwasher and microwave. XO delivery calls you for you delivery date and then they don't show, that happenend 3 times. XO delivery blames lowes and lowes blames XO. It took me 3 weeks to get my stove and still waiting on a dryer nobody has a clue what's going on. The delivery manager from a completely different store works at 9 pm when the store closes so how do I talk to him ???? Next day delivery my ass shouldve went to home Depot. One of the worst experiences with this particular Lowe's. I ordered supplies for a project the day before and when I went to pick up the next day it was not ready. After waiting for an hour and a half, I was told my Angela Edward's (store manager) that they would deliver same day. As of the third day today it has still not been delivered. I called for Angela and she is off today. I spoke with Alicia who assured me she would get to the bottom of this and call me back in five minutes. After waiting for a call for 45 mins, I am here at the store waiting for someone to help me. I hope his review will get upper managements attention to customer service. This store location SUCKS at customer services. They should seriously fire almost every single employee there. We bought all new appliances from here (stove, fridge, and microwave) and they told us delivery would take three weeks so we waited and the day of delivery, no one came. They missed the delivery window so we called and were on hold for 43 minutes and then when we finally got someone on the phone, they were not helpful and just referred us to call someone else. When we finally talked to someone who could help. They promised that they would have our appliances would be delivered the next day. So we waited all day that day and still no one came and we called again multiple times, no answer. So we had to actually go into the store and ask and they said that our order was canceled??? NONE OF US CANCELED IT?!??? So someone literally canceled our shipment for no reason. No one called and told us. Our appliances are literally sitting in a local warehouse. We still don't have them. This place is terrible and the shipping company that Lowes uses is even worse. Absolute piss. I would go to Home Depot or any appliance store if you're searching. Literally garbage. read more

I had recently posted about my Husqvarna lawnmower and the bad experience I've had. It cracked at the bottom oil pan area bolt leaking oil everywhere . I thought well this is it I'm stuck with a non useable mower. Well I was shocked that less then 24 hours I was contacted by my local Lowe's #1145 and they said to bring in the mower and they would replace it. Wow! Really. Now don't get me wrong I've only had this replacement mower 2 months so it wasn't heavily used. I showed up to my local store #1145 and I was treated with great customer service. I explained to the young lady about my problem and showed her my correspondence I had. She smiled and asked if I wanted the replacement. I told her yes, and with a smile she said I can go get a replacement. Wow! Treated with care and understanding. You dont get that now a days. Process was fast and a wonderful experience. Thank you Lowe's and thank you to the person who contacted me(name with held) from store#1145 and the customer service employee who helped me. read more
