Went for Black Friday. They decided to do some sort of cannon launch? My family and I were by the plant section. There was no warning at all about the cannon going off. We heard screaming and what sounded like gun fire... we paused and waited.. we heard more "shot" like sounds and more screaming. My family and I instantly started running around the store frantically, finally realizing we were locked out because they locked the garden entrance. This was absolutely terrifying and traumatic. How can they consider Lowe's a Veteran safe place, yet have something so similar to gun fire for those who have PTSD. Over all, the flooring I bought was nice. The installation of flooring worked, until we discovered that the installers had nailed thru the hot water pipe that ran from the laundry room to the kitchen. House is on a slab and the pipe ran along the floor behind the trim they installed. Guess how long it takes for a trim nail to wear out enough for 6 holes to form and water ruin your flooring? 12 months. Lowes blames their installation crew, installation crew falls back on their 12 month installation warranty and I get to have new vinyl installed. $5k...wasted. read more

My husband and I went to Lowe's to pick out a new dryer to replace our old dryer and take advantage of their sale on appliances. We also purchased a new side by side freezer refrigerator. The salesman was very courteous and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The waiting time for delivery was a bit long (2 weeks) but with the way things are now days it was understandable. The delivery men (Jonathan and George) were great. They notified us ahead of time when they were coming and then they were right on time. They installed our new appliances and answered our questions. We are very happy with our new appliances and feel that the cost of our purchases was very reasonable. If we ever need any other appliances, Lowe's will be our first place to go. read more

I have been dealing with a faulty Whirlpool double oven since December, with no resolution other than having to live with a defective appliance. I am a baker and everything burns in the top oven. They told me I would get an additional discount if I signed up for a Lowe's card and it would be quick. I was approved very quickly. That's where the deal ended. They're supposed to send a temp shopping pass to get the discount. It never showed up on my email. I called Lowe's credit and they said I would get the discount on my next purchase. I bought a dryer and when they delivered it, they included a 10 foot semi rigid duct. Who wants their dryer 6 feet from the wall and if you push it in the semi rigid duct gets all curled around. When I called the store assistant manager, she said that's not us that's we can't change that. It was $29 for this big long duct. AMAZING from beginning to end! I finally had to cave in and buy a new refridgerator and when I saw the prices at Lowes, I had to go with them. What made this go from a regular/ok experience was the service! The delivery AND removal of my old appliance was included, so no need to have someone come help or pay for removal services. The delivery team is the cherry on top to this experience. They were on time, courteous and cleaned up their mess! My house is being remodeled and they could have read the room and been careless, but they took GREAT care with the new walls and just as much caution with the old furniture and under construction areas. 100% on point from the salesman to the delivery team. We were looking for a new freezer and a fridge-freezer in an appliance section at the Kennewick shop. The young shopping assistant called C in the evening was not experienced and was not able to answer most of our questions. He was not trained to assist the customers. Also, he was telling us obvious white lies, with no sign of conscience problem, which I found disrespectful to customers. I found many better deals with $300 to $500 less with the very similar specifications on various websites that evening. The following morning, I called the number 509-736-1451 on the receipt to cancel our order. The call was answered by an answer phone which message suggested to us that the easy way to cancel an order was to use a web link which was sent to our cell phone. Having received the link and opened, the link advisor gave us a telephone number 1-800-445-6937 which was their customer services. I requested to speak to someone and waited for about 1 hour listening to the most horrible music with lots of unpleasant noises which shows how much they care about the customers wanting to speak to customer services to resolve problems. I finally gave up and called 509-736-1451 the number found on the receipt. A man called J answered and I requested an order cancellation. I mentioned about the lie but he denied that it was a lie and was justified by the company rule it was the right thing to do. We finally requested J to cancel the order on the phone but before I managed to requested him to send me a confirmation mail. He quickly greeted on his side and cut off the line which was rude. He was impatient to take criticism, covered and justified his colleague's lie and failed to listen to his custome's remaining request until the end. I read other complaints on Lowe's and I found they are believable. I would rather enjoy and remember a good customer service experience when I buy a good product. read more

At the register to check out a sign highlighted yellow stating fill out the customer survey before leaving store and receive a $5.00 gift card. I have to vent... We ordered a new fridge 5 weeks ago. We didn't realize that it was a special order one, heck the model was on the floor... We were told two weeks for delivery after we ordered it... The store it's self is nothing to complain about. Employees are usually helpful and knowledgeable if you can find them. I highly suggest saving your time and not calling the store. Any issues not regarding that store specifically should be taken up elsewhere. Wenatchee or Spokane Valley even. I've had so much trouble trying to get customer service it seems as if they only answer the phone by accident. It's so bad in fact, I've came in on a slow day, seen customer service standing at the counter doing nothing, and walked out to the parking lot. I called the store and proceeded to sit on hold for 20 minutes just to hang up and return to the counter to find them still standing there doing nothing. Today. We bought a refrigerator and the lady that help us at the store was very helpful, and patient. She answered all our questions, which were many, and we could tell that she knew what she was talking about. I am giving 1 star because, on the day of the delivery, we got a text message saying that it was on its way to our home, and after half an hour I received a phone call saying that the delivery needed to be rescheduled. When I asked why, I was told that it was because I called the driver to reschedule. I explained that I never contacted the driver or asked to reschedule and that we had everything ready at home to get the new refrigerator installed. So she said that they could deliver it the next day, to which I refused. I did not call to reschedule it, therefore I either want it the day that we were told or I would cancel the purchase, and since she insisted it cannot be delivered today we canceled the purchase. We used to go to Lowe's for everything, blinds, paint, and many other things, the customer service in the store is good, but the delivery service from the Kennewick, WA store is bad, and we are very disappointed. read more

Went in for one item. Didn't find what I wanted, but found something that would work. Slowest cashiers EVER. There were 3 lines consisting of about 4 people each. The first cashier needed a head cashier. She turned her light off and had to wait. She eventually directed us to another line, after we continued to wait. To the back of the line with another cashier we went. Both remaining lines were non-moving. The male cashier we were in line with stopped in the middle of each transaction to talk to other co-workers. He informed one of them that he needed a head cashier because he hadn't had his break yet. I had ONE item. If I hadn't needed the item, I would have dumped it and left. Where's the self checkout? How about an express lane? This was ridiculous! I usually shop at Home Depot for my needs. I seriously dislike shopping here... regrettably you are centrally located and time is of the essence for most trips out. Your employees should be screened for any construction or material knowledge prior to higher.... (Aside from the gentleman who works in the electrical department, fellow in his early 50's?? Always on point with material locations, alternative products, and what's going on...) Most of the folks 30ish and younger should be let go... it's like they try to avoid customers when you walk in their direction. Also if they have no idea what a customer is asking admitting things like I have no idea what cement board is, or vapor barrier... I would be less frustrated with an answer if I don't know then half of the goose chase walk around of where products are located. Seriously commit some time with your HR folks for screening applications. Most of the older folks working at this location are on point. HORRIBLE, UNBELIEVABLE, and treated BADLY. I also want to state that my father, who this fridge is for and bought by, is veteran and they're treating him very wrongly. We bought a fridge five days ago at Lowe's. Today it was delivered with the handles bent in towards the door. We took pictures of it when we bought it, because we were so excited to show other people what it looks like. We called Lowe's to see what they would do to fix it, since they were the ones who damaged it. Was completely blown away by the fact that the manager was SOOO rude. They are acting like we did it, or that we knew we bought it that way. We didn't buy it with the handles bent in it. They are not willing to work with us at all, told us we could get the refund back, or $100. That it's not their fault, even though it is their fault. Was so upset, we called corporate. They were just as bad. Being very rude, and telling us that our complaints were threats, which doesn't even make sense. Why stay with a company that treats you so badly and won't work with you? How can you trust a company that try's to scam you, and that there is no one else that can help? I bought a refrigerator from Lowes in May 2019. Upon delivery my kitchen flooring was torn. They admitted they damaged the floor. Were "eager" to make repairs. One year later I cannot get my floor repaired. My claim(If there really is one) started with Tyson then Tonya now Joe Litaker whose voicemail announces that if you call too many times getting back to you will take longer. Lowes has impressed me with incompetence, ignorance and absolutely no customer service. I will never ever do business with them again. So, I decided to get a bid from Lowes for recarpeting my master bedroom. I called the store, asked for the flooring dept and it rang and rang and rang. Finally some one answered and after explaining again that i needed to speak with someone in flooring they transferred me, then the call was dropped I called back, they transferred me again and the call was dropped. A week or so later I visited the store, spent about 30 minutes trying to get someone to help me. I spoke to two employees who said they would call someone but nobody ever showed up. A couple of weeks later I decided to try again and actually talked to someone who arranged for someone to come measure my project. A very nice man showed up and measured. After he left I went to Lowe's to pick out carpet. Again, no one in the flooring department but I saw 5 employees gathered around the door and window desk so I walked over. there was a customer there so I politely waited for several minutes, three of the five employees looked at me but none acknowledged me so finally I asked if someone could help me in flooring. She said she'd call someone so I went back to look at carpet and ride herd on my two great grandchildren who were not so patiently waiting. After at least another 10 minutes of waiting I left. Went to the Kennewick Lowe's around 6pm on July 4th. Great experience with the employee who was working in aisle 39. Looking for a special sized vent. I didn't catch his name, but my wife thinks it may have been Jeremy. He was very helpful, had all the answers we needed, and was able to hand me everything I needed. I've read these reviews, and they all seem to skew negative. That has never been my experience with the employees at this store. I'm here quite often, and the biggest issue in years was the length of the line when the COVID restrictions first started, which certainly can't be blamed on anyone. read more

Ok Lowe's, this has been a long time coming. I really tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. The other Lowe's I have been to have always been so helpful and courteous, I thought maybe I was just being harsh....the first time it happened. Looking back on it, I should of done this a long time ago. You were never helpful, many times downright rude and it quickly became clear we were not working out. I would like to be able to say, "It's not you, it's me", but it's 100% you. When I come to see you, all I ask is for a little courtesy, and MAYBE a, "can I help you with something?". Those are two very simple requests that apparently eluded all employees working for you. I even recently purchased a Maytag dishwasher from you. After I asked the sales associate a FEW times to give me a hand, and he walked down and sat at his desk twice without attempting to help me, that should have been my AHA moment, and I should have calmly walked out of your store. But no, I continued to give you the benefit of the doubt. I finally got the help I wanted, I even made the decision that I wanted the dishwasher I eventually ended up with. Your sales associate assured me that dishwasher was in stock and I could walk out with it today. He then sat down at his computer, and started placing my order. What I assume happened, as it looked like it was his first time laying eyes on a computer, is that it took him so long to place the order that all the dishwashers he assured me were in stock, sold out completely. So now were on to the part of trying to get the dishwasher to my house. Ok, your employee then tells me that there are "plenty" in the warehouse and it will only be 1 week to get it to me. Ok, that news is frustrating, but I can hand wash dishes for a week, who can't. So lets fast forward one week, I've already paid you for my dishwasher, I don't have my dishwasher, but I paid you and you promised me it would be here today. I was so excited to get this thing installed that I decided to call you to see what time you were bringing it to my house, you knows, all the details we arranged and I paid for the week earlier. Well I seem to ALWAYS catch you on your bad days and whoever answered your phone in the appliance section was VERY rude and told me my dishwasher was in fact NOT in stock and he had no idea when it would be to the warehouse let alone to my house. I then explained to him that I was assured it would be here today, and he said, "yeah, and..." Well Lowe's, at this point I wanted to reach through the phone and get my point accross that way, but your sneaky....you already took my money so you kind of had me in a compromising situation. Let's just wrap this up shall we. Two weeks later I received my dishwasher. I love it, it works great. Do you know what else I love? I now love going to the other big box hardware stores where I'm treated with respect like a customer should be. And do you know what Lowe's? They also offer the same 10% military discount that you do. I guess this is my way of say, it's OVER! I don't ever want to see you again. You've treated me badly too many times. I had the worst experience ever. My aunt and uncle wanted to buy a chest freezer. There was two people helping in kitchen but I should say one because the other guy wasn't even helping he was just standing like he was lost or waking around and not even helping. I do have to admit that they where helping a couple but it doesn't take two people to help them out. I would have been okay if the girl asked with I needed help but she just brushed me off saying that she will be with me in a moment. That moment was an hour or a bit more. Then at the end she came to asked what we needed and said what we wanted wasn't in stock and that it will take months to be delivered. This would have helped if she said it before the hour wait. If that wasn't worse she was talking about us to the couple and also looking at us in a bad way. I would not recommend going here the employees treat customers bad. read more

The Lowe's in Pasco Washington is absolutely horrible. Yesterday I placed an on-line order for (7) No Dig (Actual: 3.66-ft x 3-ft) Black Steel Decorative metal Fence Panels and 3 of the fence rods. I placed this order at 9:47am to be picked up at the store later that day. I had not received a confirmation email so at 3:20pm I called the store. The girl I spoke with put me on hold so she could check on my order. She came back a few minutes later, picked up the phone, said something and hung up on me. I called back. She told me my order was just now being put together. I asked why it took so long. She said "We don't really pay attention to these." I asked if it would be ready in 15 minutes and she said it would. I drove to Pasco. Mind you, this store is at a VERY undesirable location. That intersection on road 68 is a death trap. I REALLY wanted and needed these fence panels. I walked up to the Pick Up station and said I need to pick up an order. The girl looked at me and said "Are you Melville?" I said yes. She said "Ya, I just got a call and he can't find the panels. He found the posts but not the panels." I just stared at her for what seemed an eternity and finally said "your web site says you have 17 in stock. I only want 7." She said "ya, he can't find them." I left the store. I can't remember the last time I was that furious. It was probably May 2, 2019 when I was at that same store picking up 13 of those panels. I swore then I would never go back and why I did, I don't know. But I will NEVER shop at a Lowe's store ever again. Purchased a refrigerator yesterday from Lowes, scheduled delivery for today between Noon and 4 pm. When I purchased the unit, I confirmed with the salesman that it was in stock, in storage, and there would be no problems, except they couldn't confirm delivery time. Okay, I can live with that! Today, we went though a whole effort to move the old one to the garage, and make installation extremely easy for the crew. By 4 pm, we were starting to wonder what was up, and called the store. The calls seem to have gone south since then, and are getting dropped with great regularity when I call. Seems that the ONLY one left is the floor model, which was rather dented, and they could get it out tomorrow (nothing said about today's missed delivery)! After going through the drill of explaining that there was another that was to be loaded and delivered today, I was told, "Sorry, there was a glitch in the system, but we can get another shipped in and delivered by next week." Okay, the store manager checked and will get another from Spokane, and promised to have it delivered not later than the the afternoon before Thanksgiving! I have shopped with Lowes for a number of years, and have never had a problem such as this, particularly with all the checking about which units and such I did on this! I think this will be the last time I deal with them on anything more than parts and pieces. I would be less inclined to be upset, if I hadn't done my due diligence on what unit, that it was in stock, was in storage, etc. Almost ready to contact my credit card company and tell them to hold the charges until I actually have it in my hands, but I'm certain that the store would use that as another reason that they can't cover their commitment on delivery in 7 days! read more

Warning: This store has horrible management and treats loyal customers like crap! My husband and I are remodeling a 4 bedroom home and have purchased a lot of items from Lowe's, including a fridge, a special order front door, trash compactor, riding lawn mower, etc, etc. When we ordered the door, we purchased an electronic keypad knob along with the software program to operate the keypad. It was 5 months before we were able to install the door due to the construction taking longer than planned. When we installed the door knob and attempted to activate the software, we were informed that the program had been discontinued by Lowe's. We attempted to return it but because we had it for more than 90 days they would not give us our money back. Worst customer service we've received in years! Being retired from customer service management, I would expect better treatment, especially considering we were returning it because they made the decision to discontinue the service. So's my dame buys this POS $350.00 Delta kitchen faucet cause she just has to have it. You know how that works. It's a POS, I can pee with more pressure than it delivers, It shuts off every four minutes and it turns on and off when you touch it. It's designed for right handed folks only. It's a pain in the butt every single time yas uses it. When the batteries for the POS go dead it won't work at all. I hate this Delta junk and won't ever buy anything that says "Delta" on it again. I can't wait for it to break. I tries ta say this in a review for Lowes. They won't let me. I guess they kiss the asses of their suppliers and really don't want the truth about the crapola products they sell there. Some daisy from Delta contacts me and plans to give me poop on what a great lawn ornament their faucets are. I suggested he not contact me further or it would be problem for him. Just went to try and buy some trim paint for my house, was lucky (unlucky actually) to speak to the department manager...not knowing anything about the different types of paint, I asked what he would suggest. He kind of deflected the question and asked if I knew what color I wanted. I showed him the paint sample card and he asked which paint I wanted to use. I asked his opinion about durability and how many coats I would need and he just shrugged his shoulders and said they're all good.
