Lowe's is pretty much what you'd expect from a big box home improvement store. Service can be hit or miss depending on who you get, but most of the items you're likely looking for are in stock. Prices are comparable to other stores in the area. The small parts bins could definitely use some organization, it can be tricky to find what you need. The spray paint section is a little limited, but still decent overall. Look for those clearance stickers, you can find some real gems if you keep your eyes open. read more

I love Lowe's over HD and find just about anything needed here. Recently I needed some help with just finding some filters for my units and a super helpful senior (and Vet) helped me not only find them but ensure that I got the exact filter sizes needed and likely saved me money and time on a return. He was so very helpful. I normally do self check out but I'm always asked in any dept I am at if I need any help. I am not a huge fan of the mulch selection they have and the only hiccup I ever had in terms of getting assistance is the outside garden center but I feel like that person that day was having a rough time so I just went on about my biz and hauled the 6 bags of mulch needed on my own (I just needed a platform cart and had a quick question but of course would have loved a bit of help loading things). End of the day I would say the value I get here vs other local places is worth the trip here but I do prefer my garden center needs be done at North Haven in Dallas. I visited the Lawn and Garden section of the store to purchase two items. When I approached an empty checkout, I noticed the cashier was idle, while the opposite checkout had lines. I proceeded to check out, and after scanning one of my items, the cashier abruptly left without any explanation to assist another customer behind me by taping their item. I found this behavior to be quite rude, as the cashier could have completed my small transaction before attending to the other customer. I found this Lowe's location to be well stocked with what I was looking for. I just wanted to supplement my patio decor with a little more color. I chose a couple of "right out the box" Spider plants($14.98) and Mandevilla that are usually easy to care for. The Miracle Gro soil or potting mix was a great value for the quality, quantity and price wise ($14.48 for 50qt). Both outdoor cash registers were opened so no need to worry about sweating away while waiting. My cashier was nice and very welcoming. Assistance if needed also wasn't far away as employees were everywhere. If you're looking for an instant positive vibe increase, swing by and you won't be disappointed!!! read more

To cut a very long story short, we bought a wall oven at the Little Elm store. The first one did not fit but was refunded and replaced. The second one was either damaged or installed incorrectly by the installation contractor resulting in damage. The shelves did not fit and could not be used. The store agreed to unistall and refund the total, including installation. The installation company came to take it away but refused to take it out because we were not having a replacement installed by them. The store had to send store employees to take back the defective oven. We had used our Lowe's card. The next statement showed a refund for the oven but not the installation charge. We had lenghty arguments with the store who denied ever agreeing to refund the installation charge. We disputed it with Synchrony Bank but they have declined to credit the amount for reasons that are not clear. We had previously bought all our appliances at Lowe's. Never again. read more

The worst customer service. EVER. Trying to call to speak with an actual human is something that takes SO many tries. Beyond frustrating. If I ran my business the way Lowe's does I'd be out of business so quickly. I ordered several doors for a remodel and doors were delayed several weeks. I was never given a phone call to give me a heads up. They kept putting it on the schedule, I would get an automated call to say it was scheduled for delivery, no door, no delivery. I have to say after having a great experience with Lowe's on March 15,2025. That all came to a end on March 22,2025. What upsets me the most is that the associates were very helpful on both days I was there. I am a loyal customer or should I say was a loyal customer to this location. The Denton Store is a lot closer to me than this one, but yet I have always came to this location due to their helpful & knowledge. Being a GM myself I can understand a customer and their struggles at times. There's where the experience comes into hand. I have always purchased things here and if something went on sale or they have always matched it with no issues. But this particular day it seems like I may have caught the Asst Manager Scott Barry in a bad mood. I asked them to adjust my receipt cause looks like it was about .50 cheaper. According to the picture I took of the sign. But he refused and would not credit it. He requested that I needed to bring all 8 bags of concrete bags back and re buy them at the price the sign. He said in order to give me that price. But shortly after looks like they priced it wrong and took down the sign. Scott Barry was not polite at all seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. I told him that I had already used the bags and put them in the ground. But with a attitude he said there was nothing he can do. I told him I just spent $1,000.00 at his store on this project. Which he clearly didn't care. It was going to be about $4.00 on a credit. It's the principle of the matter. I told him that they are always willing to match or credit something with out having to bring the item back. As long as I have the receipt in hand. I asked Scott Barry to show me where in policies it shows that on the wall and he said look it up. I don't have time to show you as he stood there starring me down. I asked him who his GM was and he pointed to the wall. I have to say Scott Barry is bad business for your store. I am sure others have had issues but have not complained and put in writing. But moving forward I would rather travel further out for store that appreciates my business than be treated like I did by Scott Barry. I guess not all UNT Grades have manners. Hope he realizes that because of customers he has a job. No sales no employment! And I can promise you one thing. I will not be at that store again. read more

I don't know if I'll ever be back at this Lowe's in Little Elm. We only wanted to buy paint. Pushed the service button and after about 10 or more cycles of the service needed announcement still nothing. So we are going elsewhere for the paint. We did buy a plant but now I realize we should have just left it there too. Because there were no registers open but the 5 employees standing by customer service had plenty of time to socialize and help no one. I'm fine. This store had great service when it first opened but has gone way downhill in the last 5 years. Too bad, they are the closest store to us. Oh well. We will go elsewhere. read more

Neither Lowes in Little Elm nor the Generator Supercenter were any help getting my project resolved, and this is not the first time I have had difficulty with a major purchase with Lowes in Little Elm. I began looking into a standby generator in Sept. 2024 at the Little Elm Lowes store, and when I decided to go ahead, I was put in contact with the Generator Supercenter Denton which is contracted by Lowes for the labor/installation. After his visit, the representative from the Supercenter gave me pricing for an 18KW and 24KW Generac installation on September 27, 2024. Over the next couple of weeks we worked together to determine the best fit for me and knowing that I had mostly gas appliances we settled on a 14KW Generac. I signed the contract and paid 50% of the total with Lowes Rewards card on October 18, 2024. Shortly after that, The Supercenter folks gave me an installation date of November 22,2024. On November 21, I was informed by the Supercenter representative that they did not have the generator. From our conversation, I was made aware that nobody at either Lowes or the Generator Supercenter checks on Generac inventory either before or during the time up to delivery. The only offer the Supercenter would give me was to do some preliminary work at my house on my delivery date, but no 14KW Generac would be available until sometime in late January 2025 since there is not a high demand for 14KW generators. I declined that offer since there were no definite dates and availability. However, 50% of the cost was paid. Between November 21 and November 27, I had repeated conversations with The Supercenter rep and got no help whatsoever. His answer to everything was that he called somebody, and they didn't return his call. During this time, I even offered to step up to an 18KW Generac and pay the difference. This too got nowhere, since the Supercenter rep said he couldn't get anyone to give him a price. Also, during this time I began telling them I would probably cancel and I tried to get somebody at Lowes to help either with the price or cancellation. I either got somebody who couldn't get help or people not answering phones. Finally, a Lowes employee who works at the Pro desk told me he saw a manager and would have him call me. This didn't happen. Later that day (November 27) I did receive a call from a Lowes fulfillment center (I believe they call it) in Arizona. They had no idea what was going on other than I had ordered a generator but that I wanted to cancel my order. So, I did cancel my order. They told me the cancel would have to wait until after Thanksgiving weekend and then it would take 10-14 days for a refund, while they had over $6,000. I waited for that time and heard nothing, so I called them and asked about my refund. I was told that it was put back on my Lowes reward card and I would have to check with Synchrony bank. When I called Synchrony and asked how I could get the credit on my card, they told me they would send a check and again another 10-14 days. 2PM-Placed order in store with sales rep who stated they had 3 of the washers I wanted in stock and that our order was gonna be ready for pick up at 4pm. 4PM- We went to the store, and were told "we can't find your item" we will let u know once we find it. 5:50- called the store, CSR told me she could not help. After reexplaining myself, she transferred me to appliances even when she told me at the begging of the conversation that no-one was there. My call got transferred back to CSR, who promised me to call me back in 10 min. 6:30- I Called the store again, spoke with 4 people, (20 min)got transferred to a manager who never answered. 6:50- Finally got a knowledgeable CSR who physically checked for my item, informed me they did not have it and cancelled my order. read more

For an everyday "run in" and get something for a DIY we've never had any issues when shopping at Lowes. However, we bought out first appliance from Lowes in August. It was one of the most expensive purchases we've ever made (can't believe the cost now a days). That being said we couldn't get it same day and had to schedule a delivery 1 1/2 weeks out. We scheduled the delivery for a morning delivery (between 8-12) so we would only miss a half a day of work. At 0730 we cleaned out our old refrigerator and freezer placing items into coolers so everything would be ready when the truck arrived. Noon came and went and the truck never showed and we didn't get a customer service call saying they were running late. We called and called finally getting ahold of someone who told us we were "miss informed" and that we were scheduled 16th on the truck therefore it would be delivered between 12-4. Stuck between a rock and a hard place I took the rest of the day off work and waited for the truck to arrive. 5:00 came and went and no truck. Called back and was told they're running late and I would most likely get the deliver around 8:30. We expressed our dissatisfaction and said we'd wait for the truck but we weren't happy with the delay. 9:30 came and went and still no truck and no call. Calling back again we were told it's still on the way and if we'd accept delivery this late they'd be there soon. 11:45 and still no truck and still no call..... After paying so much for an appliance, paying for delivery and haul away, missing a paid day of work, losing some food items, we will never buy another appliance from Lowes again. The product can be the best. The quality can be the best. But the customer service and the respect for others along with no professionalism on behalf of the delivery truck and Lowes customer service is the worst we've experienced. I went to this Lowes location in Little Elm. I had planned to go to Home Depot which had won me over with their Christmas tree service, but it was the day after Christmas, so I decided to give Lowes a try too. The sales-floor staff was incredible: great customer service on this busy day. One member hunted for a difficult-to-find mandrel for me for 10-minutes and found the perfect one. I couldn't thank him enough. So based on this service, I decided to get some wood for a few cornhole boards as well. The lumber staff on the floor went out of their way too. They helped me pull a great plywood board that I could rip into 4 regulation cornhole boards and the 2x4s for the frames. I was happy to have it all in my hand-truck and at a great price. So on to the check-out lanes. This is where it all fell apart and left me saying to my son, who was helping me, "Come on, son, let's go to Home Depot." What a way to blow a sale. Terrible front-end customer service. One that makes you want to go on Yelp and let everybody know . . . The board at the self-check-out machine rang up $30 more than advertised in the aisle. I can overlook a few bucks, but 60% more: I called for help. The front-end helper lady scanned the board. "Sorry, sir this is the latest price." "Uh, I'm not paying $30 bucks more, I picked this board based on the price." "Please bring me the tag?" Off to the lumber section. The guys in lumber were certain of the price. "Yeah, don't worry, this is the latest price. They must not be up-to-date in the system." As I was snapping a pic of the tag on the boards up here where I found them, I overheard one of them say, "Wait, these are in the wrong place, they belong down there." I looked down there and the price for their being down there in their rightful place read "$79. 55". My doubts set-in. "I'm not paying "$79.55" "Don't worry, they'll charge you $49.55", they reassured. This being their mess-up, and my having had cashiers honor mistaken advertised aisle-prices before was enough assurance for me. I headed back to the front-end self-checkout lady. "I'm sorry sir, that price does not belong to this item." "Can I speak to your manager?" Enter the front-end manager: "I'm sorry sir", said the manager when he arrived and came up to speed, "This is not the correct price for this item. It's $79.55 and I cannot sell it to you for $49.55." "You advertised it in the aisle for $49.55." "You'll have to understand that mistakes happen, sir." Well, I'm not going to be punished for their mistake. I decided leave, knowing that it was not worth it to give Lowes any control over my mood on the second day of Christmas. In hindsight, it was a good thing I was paying in cash because I was able to make a quick exit without being too invested in the situation. We left the hand-truck in the self-checkout lane and exited the store, "Come on, son, let's go to Home Depot." As I was in the van riding to Home Depot with my son, I told him, "Son, if you're ever in retail and a $30 mistake that you made stands in the way between you and a customer-for-life . . . give the customer the $30. Otherwise he's going to tell everybody the story about how you screwed him over on the second day of Christmas." "Okay, Dad." We went to Home Depot and I paid $10 more for the same stuff than Lowes wanted to force me to pay. Yes the price was still $79+ for the same board but, I'm a man of my word. There is not enough room and enough words to express my gratitude for the Little Elm, Texas Lowe's Team today! I came in frustrated, dejected, and undervalued, but I left feeling like "a million bucks" when I left today. I have nothing but bad luck with the EGO battery operated blowers and yesterday I had one go out for the second time. Well, after multiple calls to EGO customer service, they refused to replace the blower and said it had to be repaired and the people they told me to take it to said it would be up to 60 days! I walked into the Little Elm, Texas Lowe's store expecting just to "bite the bullet" and buy a new blower even though my repairs works he under warranty because I just could not be without a blower for 60 days. Well, after explaining my situation, I instantly had a herd of Lowe's employees around me springing into action to help me! Managers Candy and Charles came to my rescue along with Ade and man they pulled a miracle for me! They exchanged my blower for the next model up, saved me over a $100, and hooked me up with a 3 year Lowe's warranty on the blower, and I had over $80 come back to My Lowe's account "when the dust was settled!" I am incredibly grateful for Candy, Charles, and Ade for turning around an absolutely pitiful situation into one of pure bliss! Now that's what I call Exceptional Customer Service! Thank you! I went to Lowe's June 23,2024 to go check out grills to upgrade my current one. I asked for help. After 10 mins of waiting went back in then someone called for garden. a girl named Danisha came out. She knew nothing about grills. Which I figured but she didn't even try to get someone who does. Next I pick my grill she says they have 2 in stock she's gonna go grab it . I wait another 20 mins she comes back I can't find the grill. do you want the one outside no I don't. she says well I don't know what you want me to do. I'm like you told me you have two where is the other one and she was just very careless about my time waiting for her to not give any solutions. I go to customer service like can someone else help me and they did there best but danisha comes back up to the register saying"she" as in me don't want the one outside and he co worker was like you should apologize to her she's been here over a hour waiting for answers. danisha says" I'm sorry that the guy who said we had one was wrong. I said you gotta be kidding what type of apology is that? I lost it then and we had some words back and forth. Went here to look for a butcher block counter top. Talked to 6 employees before one was able to walk us back to the correct aisle, aisle 33, which was unnumbered with no signs or directions. One of the employees even made eye contact with me as I waved and then walked the other way. Another employee was on her phone and when I asked her for help, she said, "I'm coming," but didn't move at all to go help me. Will never visit this Lowe's again. read more

I am very frustrated with Lowes customer service. I purchased a dishwasher on April 25, 2024 from Lowes, Little Elm. At that time no one told me that the dishwasher was not in stock and I would have to wait a week for the install. (I could of had it installed by any of 3 other dealers in less than a week BTW) A week later the dishwasher was installed and did not work. The response from Lowes was we will have someone come out and repair it. I told them they could come out and replace the dishwasher and they agreed to do that. However now I am waiting another week for install of the dishwasher. the dishwasher is in stock. The manager at Lowes told me he could not adjust the installer's schedule. A special order, picked-up the night before, was missing an installation item - not sold in stores. Customer service was both receptive and understanding with explanation of order events timeline. Juli(e/a) was cooperative and proposed actionable store solutions; to get product for resolve (recognizing I needed the item, not money back). Additionally, area manager Robert was looking at the item. Thankfully, he was arranging items and found the piece. The box did have the order number. He also took action to provide the mounting hardware. I am glad to note that, due to level heads and a resolution response, we cooperated for a good outcome. *Longer version below Special Ordered an item which had a known manufacturer delay (12-16 weeks vs normal 6-8). The Lowe's website had a generic delivery date for 12 weeks, which showed awaiting delivery. After a call, this system was reset an additional 4 weeks (16 weeks). Called on week 15, and Zack reached out to have direct verification with manufacture, which was shipped. (Calls do take 5-15 minutes to answer - he did return the call). Week 16, received generic automated message stating an order, with an 'ending 5 digit code' which did not match, had arrived. Contacted store - found order and verified arrival of listed items; sent to the store and prepared for pick up. (Took some patience and 3 staff) Opened the large box at home and a necessary installation item was missing. Went to store next morning (detailed above). I will never shop this Lowes location again! On 04/11/20 at 1:45 PM I ordered several small items on-line for curbside pick-up. By 5:30 PM I had not received an email stating my order was ready so I contacted the store for a status update. I was informed by customer service that until if I had not received an email it was not ready. The rep was short and to the point without offering to check. It wasn't an emergency so I didn't press the issue and it didn't really matter to me because I didn't need the items until later the next week. On 04/13/20 I received an email in the morning saying my order was ready for pickup. Great! I had to go into work for an emergency and by the time I arrived at Lowe's it was 6:20 PM. I pulled up to the curbside pick up space, There were 4 other vehicles already there waiting for pickup. I followed the instructions on the sign and sent a text that I was there and the order number. By 6:40 PM I had not seen anyone bring any items to the 4 (now 6) cars that were there ahead of me. Two of the people that were already parked, got out of their cars and went into the store. At 7:00 PM I had not heard from or seen anyone bringing the curbside items out to any of the vehicles. The two that had went into the store had come out with their items and left. Two others left without their items. At this point it looked like I needed to go into the store because there appeared to be a problem with curbside. As I started walking towards the entrance a person (not wearing any Lowe's vest or identification) yelled at me "WE ARE CLOSED!". I continue to approach him so I could talk without yelling across the space. Again he yelled, this time in a very angry tone "WE ARE CLOSED!". I then yelled over to him that I had been waiting since 6:20 PM for my curbside pickup. His resonse, again in a angry tone was "Did you get an email"? By this time I am angry. I responded with something like " yeah, that is why I am here and have been waiting for 40 minutes and I have not seen anyone bringing out items for curbside pickup in the entire time I have been here!" I was told then that they are busy and "We are 120 orders behind and I only have one person and we will get yor items shortly." I then informed him that the reason I was angry was the tone of voice he used when talking to me and not asking me why I was there even though he could see where I was parked". He had no response and I walked back to my truck. The items came out about 15 minutes later. Right before my items came out I saw the guy that I had talked to drive faster then should be acceptable in a parking lot and way faster than an employee or Representative of the store should be driving. I only bring this up to show his attitude and demeanor. Home Depot and Ace Hardware will have my business from now on. read more

Bought a Whirlpool Fridge from them and also added the 5 year warranty. Within a month the fridge broke and they are not honoring the warranty because it is "still under the manufactures warranty" and the part needed from Whirlpool is on back order and they are saying I have to wait 25 business days before anything can be done. I am without a fridge for over a month now. Why buy a warranty if nothing is done when the appliance breaks. I recently purchased a new home and was looking for a washer and dryer. I also wanted to have it installed and I thought Lowe's would be perfect. Lowes delivered the washer on a Saturday and a few days later when I went to wash a load of clothes, water went everywhere. I immediately called Lowe's. It took days to finally have a human being respond. I filed a claim as well as contacted a plumber. When the plumber arrived, he immediately informed me that my washer was installed incorrectly. He said whoever installed it did not connect the right tube to the correct pipes. I took pictures of how it was installed and after the plumber corrected it. I submitted the pictures and statement from the plumber to the claims department. Days later I reach out to Lowes to find out the status of my claim. Lowes denied my claim. The denial letter stated, "the correct opening for the drain hose was capped off during installation. Due to this the team would not know which opening was correct". I have several problems with this denial. First, I moved into a brand new home. Both openings were capped off. If the man installing the washer did not know which opening was the correct one, then he should of said so. Or asked a supervisor or refuse to do the installation. Secondly, the letter admits to it being installed incorrectly. How is that my fault? I paid for a washer and for it to be installed correctly. I don't install washers for a living. I truly regret purchasing my refrigerator, washer and dryer from Lowe's. If I knew it was this difficult to resolve any issues, I never would of stepped foot in the store. If you are looking for quality products and for them to be installed incorrectly, then stay away from Lowes. It will be the best decision that you make. Trust me. read more

PART 1: We purchased a LG washer/dryer Tower on January 26th, 2022- Dwayne in Appliances said they had 1 in stock AND that they'd hold it for delivery on March 12th. NO Washer/Dryer, NO Follow-Up, NO Phone Call. Nothin, Nada, Zilch. We waited in Appliances for Dwayne to get a manager. DO NOT BUY Appliances from Lowe's! I purchased a washing machine two weeks ago that is LG it is already broken. I did a merge call with customer service of Lowe's and LG and the lady from Lowe's was incredibly rude to the person at LG. LG offered to transfer the rep representative from Lowe's to their claims department so that they could process the return of my washing machine and Lowes said they would not do that. they lied directly to the LG rep. The LG rep can only work with the distributor on returns not an individual person. The person from LG was incredibly kind and she even apologized to me for this crazy inconvenience and how rude the people are at Lowe's. whatever appliances you need to purchase only purchase them directly from the manufacturer. come to find out in these new days we live in Lowe's and Home Depot are very difficult to work with so it is better to just deal directly with the companies. read more

These people walk around looking at you. I was on the hardware aisle, looking for soft close hardware. There was an associate with a Veteran vest on, 20 ft. from me, that never said anything. I didn't need help, but he didn't care if I spent money or not. Went to flooring, seen Jackie from paint, whom they had just called to go to appliances. I wanted to wait for Jackie to come back, but I was running out of time. I pushed the help button, and Justin came from Outside Lawn and Garden. There was some lady in blue that kept walking by looking at me, but never saying anything. People that clean the stores used to speak to everyone, now they just look at you I would like to give Jackie and Justin a 5 star, because they were the only two running the store this morning. I told Andres ( the sitting down cashier) that I had a floor sample, and he asked "Food Stamps?" Do better, Lowe's. read more

This is a very busy Lowe's on the weekends. The parking lot is busy, the store is busy, the sales clerks are busy. I waited almost 30 minutes near the rope section asking clerk after clerk for assistance to cut the length I needed. I finally gave up when no one returned and ordered some online. What I do like about this Lowe's is their garden center. They have so many varieties of plants, shrubs and flowers at reasonable prices. They have a number of sale racks for plants where you can score huge discounts on plants that just need a little pruning and TLC. This place will be easier to get into if construction on FM423 ever gets completed. read more

You know what's real cool...? Being able to pull up and choose from so many plants right outside. Just within a couple of feet from the convenient outdoor register. Only to find out, you now have to walk ALL the way around the store to get to said register. Why not make your exit only the glass doors that lead inside? Or rope off the entire outdoor area so ppl don't load up on stuff only to leave it after finding out they have to push all through the store. And yes, lots of carts full just left after finding out they can't just walk in and pay. As there is no indication till you try to walk in. Took my money to Calloway's. Walk right in and pay as usual. read more

Worst customer service ever. Tried dialing in to the lumber department to see if they had something in stock. Phone never picked up and bounced back to the main menu 3x. Chose to speak tot heir customer service department to see if they can route me internally. Phone never picked up. Routed back to customer service and explained that nobody was picking up the phone, asked if they could PA the department or find out for me and all the attendant said was no all she could do is transfer me. Asked to speak to a manager and go ally the manager went there and investigated for me just to find out they didn't carry what I needed. Could have spent these 45 minutes just going to Home Depot, they had what I needed is stock. read more
