Then were given June 8th as delivery date. No phone call night before, no contact june 8th as of 1pm. At 2 pm, email stating delivery would be june 9. then told 10:30-1:30 window. morning of the 9th, time change. Oven finally did arrive, the gentlemen that delivered and installed were professional and friendly. Installation was done in about 15 minutes.

I needed diagnostics and repair, and while they sell genuine Broilmaster parts, they don't really perform that type of repair work themselves. Here's where they earned a customer for life. Instead of trying to sell me a new grill--or worse, pretending they could do something they couldn't--they recommended a local technician who regularly purchases Broilmaster parts from them. That technician drove over an hour to diagnose and rebuild my grill, using only factory-authorized Broilmaster parts purchased from Fireplace & BBQ's. The result? My old Broilmaster now looks and performs like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I'm convinced it'll probably outlive me. Could I have gone to a big-box store and bought a shiny new aluminum grill? Sure. That's exactly what one store recommended. But anyone who knows grills knows many of those are designed to be replaced every few years. My Broilmaster was built to last generations, and now it probably will. The best part of this story is that Fireplace & BBQ's didn't have to recommend someone else. They could have simply said, "Sorry, we don't do that." Instead, they pointed me to the right person, and in the end they still earned the parts business because I insisted my technician buy only genuine manufacturer-authorized parts from them. That's how great businesses operate. They put the customer first, earn trust instead of demanding it, and understand that doing the right thing almost always comes back around. This was one of the most frustrating home improvement experiences I've ever had…read more The process started with a measuring technician who was rude, provided poor customer service, and had to return a second time because the initial measurement was not done correctly. That should have been a warning sign for what was to come. What is most unacceptable is that at no point during the sales, measurement, or scheduling process was I informed that floor-leveling issues could completely prevent the installation from moving forward. If this was a known requirement, it should have been discussed before installation day, not after I had already invested significant time and money into the project. When the installers arrived, they informed me they could not proceed because portions of the floor were not level enough to meet Home Depot's policies. The installers indicated the issue could likely be addressed with primer or leveling products, but Home Depot's policies prevented them from performing the necessary corrective work. Instead of providing a solution, the project was simply stopped. To make matters worse, after no flooring was installed and no project was completed, Home Depot still withheld a $100 fee from my refund. Charging a customer for a project that never happened is unacceptable. Home Depot wasted my time, failed to communicate critical installation requirements, and then charged me for the privilege of receiving no service. I expected far better from a company of this size and reputation.
