Purchased installation of a Ceiling fan and Lowes charged me $230. They then passed the job off to the app Angi (think uber for odd jobs) and paid our installer $50. That's $180 that Angi and Lowes are pocketing for doing literally nothing. This is why no one can make a living wage... companies like Lowes pocketing money others earned. It can be overwhelming choosing the right primers and paint and other supplies you need to use. If she was not there telling me everything I had to do for my project and showing me where it was, I probably would have left the store with nothing.I am really grateful that she was there for me. read more

Home Depot in Redmond referred me to Lowe's because of the Valspar paint brand. So I took a paint chip for bathroom to Issaquah, got a quart and it matched... went back for gallon and wrong color. I later tried to have them match the paint that covers 80% and they couldn't match it. By happenstance, I was near Mill Creek Lowe's and they matched my kitchen paint perfect. I decided I'd go back to Mill Creek to see if they could match what Issaquah couldn't. Thank you so very much to Mill Creek Lowe's... they matched all 4 paint colors to perfection. Lowe's has a weekly ad for plants . On 5/8/25 I went the Mill Creek , WA. Store and most of plants (especially) in the weekly ad was dead. They had dried up because nobody had watered them. If you would invest in advertisement to get people to come to your establishment, you surely would create a plan to water the plants and make sure they're healthy to sell to your customers. It was really a sad state. It's like nobody cares no employees, dead plants just sitting there. What a waste of time. read more

Set delivery date and Lowe's repeatedly texted me to confirm the delivery date to which I replied "yes" then delivery date is here, laborer is here to install and readying the site.... Lowe's no showed and then changed my delivery date! I still have to pay the labor for their time! I had to ask 3 different sales people to get some help took over 30 minutes for someone to show up and when I asked what took so long he said no one paged him when someone was paged 3 times. The store is huge bring comfortable shoes. However, I have a suggestion. While shopping I noticed that the wires are behind a locked door on aisle 14 bays 24 to I believe 22. Most of us are used to Safeway locking alcohol so we often look for a button to push that is on the same side as the product for customer assistance . PLEASE PUT UP A SIGN THAT TELLS US HUMANS WHERE THAT BUTTON IS LOCATED! As it is on the other side of the aisle. Probably cost a piece of paper tape and a pen. Thank you. THE WORST WORKERS AND MANAGERS IVE EVER SEEN. Clearly no one cares about doing ANYTHING for anyone. The management was horrid to the point where I wouldn't even want to be within a 100ft of them. I was repeatedly told incorrect information and was seriously let down. Get a new staff and start treating people like ACTUAL people. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed. Nobody there deserves to have a job. Specifically the manager that had shorter dark hair, Hispanic, and was a man. Learn some manners, your actions are disgusting. read more

We were looking for vanity lights and were able to find some good ones at Lowe's. The floor person Kanjee was very helpful supporting us.

I live close by and have been shopping here often for 10 years. Overall It's a well organized store and pleasant experience. I can usually find an employee to direct me to the proper aisle to find an item if I don't know where to look. I appreciate the self check out, easy return process and recycling bins for fluorescent bulbs and rechargeable batteries. Employees have always been nice and helpful. Sometimes they are understaffed and I have a long wait if I want lumber cut or if I need someone to unlock the propane outside. Also they don't accept fluorescent tube lights for recycle, so it's a separate trip to Mill Creek City Hall to drop those off. Overall I greatly appreciate their close by location and will continue to shop there for my home improvement and garden needs. read more

I hadn't been into this Lowe's for several years because my last experience there was a disaster. Yesterday I found myself needing to go to this store because had a plumbing emergency and Ace Hardware was already closed. What an absolute Clown Show! There's little, if any, logic to how the store is laid out...so, unable to find the plumbing supplies, I finally broke down and asked the first employee I saw for directions. His name was Quan and he was like dealing with an escapee from the short bus. His grasp of English was so bad that I finally just used the single word "plunger" to give him a clue. He pulled out a phone and started trying to type in the word to search for the correct aisle in the store. After several tries, I finally had to spell the word "plunger" for him...and even then it took two attempts for him to enter it correctly. Ultimately, I got my answer and found what I needed. But, unfortunately, the Clown Show was far from over. Next, I came up against another Clown named Maggie that was the cashier at the pro-checkout register. When she finally took a break from her drawings to ask me if I was ready to check out (I had already placed everything on the counter but she wouldn't know that since she never even made eye contact with me) she scanned my items and then went right back to her drawings. This Lowe's, and I suspect it's not just limited to this location, is somewhere to avoid like the plague. Then entire time I was there I felt more like I was an inconvenience to the employees than a customer that supported their employment. LOWES HATES PLANTS! The amount of full price plants they had for sale there dying or dead from lack of water is egregious. What a huge money waste for the company, and a huge sign that the management doesn't care for the quality of the store. Do NOT buy plants there. Absolutely DO NOT use Loews for ANY home improvement project that requires contractors. They subcontract to subcontractors who subcontract. Hardwood delivery was in the driveway, when the instructions required the product be stored inside for 24 hours. Delivery people don't speak to installers, installers don't have basic information about products. . They left soft drink cans on every floor. Pulled my internet cable out of the wall and left the modem wound into phone wired atop furniture. Leveled the living room floor in prep for hardwoods with headlamps in the dark. Left the house completely filthy. None of the people who came to my home were fluent in English so I had to track down a manager to communicate. Their recourse was to halt the work, send the installers home and delay the project. A four day project took 5 weeks. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! read more

The lady in lock department was not helpful at all. I just needed 5 tumbler/pins for a lock I had bought from them. She refused to sell the pins or give them away. They rekey a lock for free, but won't give me the pins to do it myself? The tiny pins cost less than 2 cents a piece. Went to ACE hardware and they took care of me. Charged me $2.00 and they were all put in the right order taped to a card. read more

I applied for a job at this location. Got all the way throigh the hiring process. They had me come in and i sat down with the manager. I gave her my bank information and social security number filled out an i9 and w4. She said that she would give me my schedule the next week. I called every week told be told "we'll reach out to you! It could take a week or two" Its been months now. This location has extremely poor management and after seeing the other reviews on here and my experience myself. This location DEFINITELY deserves a 1 star. I feel bad for the customers and employees that go here. read more

Delivery... I ordered 5 days in advance thinking they might have time to get my order to me. Today is Delivery day but I've had no delivery. Someone called to say they couldn't get my order picked due to inventory. Not my fault, and you would think they could block dates that they can't fill orders. The guy said they would pick my order at 8am the next day and deliver by 9am. Its 10:10 and no sign of my delivery. If you are really lucky, you can call the store and tell the guy in customer service the issue. But he will just put you on hold for 10 minutes and then hang up on you. I tried calling corporate too. The computer tells you there is a 30 minute wait time, and then hangs up. Horrible experience! read more

Went to Lowe's to get a new washing machine, had it all figured out to be delivered Monday afternoon between 2-6pm. Great... took the day off and waited the whole time because the truck confirmed my washing machine was on the truck out for delivery and would be installed. 6 rolls around... no phone call or anything... I sit on hold for 30mins to then find out they never even put it on the truck and just said they did..... I lost an entire days worth of pay. Better yet I politely ask to reach someone then get transferred to a department that was closed: not once, not twice, not 3 times... you got it.. 4 times... At this point I'm starting to lose my $h!t. "Best we can do is have you take off another day whenever we can get a round to it" you tell me if that's worth 5 stars... *UPDATE* They finally delivered after I took a second day off from work. No apologies or anything. The two men who delivered/installed kept talking about my car I pulled out to make room as its in the garage. This place is such a slow place. I used to work there and while and after getting fired (got fired because of to many no call no shows and lates when the no call no shows were all called out just not put in and I didn't have evidence once they noticed 10, not to mention I am supposed to be fired after 3 I am assuming they didn't because they knew it was there fault, and the lates are just stupid your allowed to clock in 4 min after when you supposed to start as a support to not be late but they do count those as lates) When I would try to call the store for any reason it takes 10-20 minutes sometimes 40+ minutes to even get somone to talk to. I go in to get my check and every time it takes 20+ min and the Managers must get them I go to them back and they just sitting back there talking 9 times out of 10. They only care about getting there name on the reviews to get a little bit of every sale. I worked on night shift and there was sooo many boxes I scanned that were just supposed to be put up top and soooo many things that needed to be restocked were either never ordered or just sitting up top on the shelves so they just ordered more, this store has horrible management and about everything else but the 3-4 people on each team who actually try to help and do there job right. read more

I ordered a dryer. Paid for all accessories and took time off work for them to come for the installation of my dryer at home. Dude drops off my dryer and says I never paid for it to be hooked up which is LITERALLY in their job title and even SHOWED him proof that I did. He left without installing my driver. I show up to Lowe's and they tell me they can't have someone install it for another two days even though it was promised to be done today. Am I supposed to leave work on Saturday again too for them to do a job that they couldn't do in the first place? Michael tells me how easy it is so hook up the dryer, gives me all the accessories needed for the dryer as I already paid for it, and demonstrates on a dryer how to do it. I ended up going home and electrocuteing myself because he told me how easy it was to do it. I was shocked, in pain, and so frustrated by how this all went down. ITS THEIR JOB TO DO THIS!!!!! NOT MINE!!! All of my power went out my refrigerator and food went bad, and I sat in the dark for six hours waiting for an electrician to come in turn my lights back on which took an hour because my circuit breaker went completely out and this was now an issue that was outside of my condo. Even my electrician told me I should've never got my hands on the accessories for a dryer and tried to install it myself, and told me how DANGEROUS this could be. he kindly installed my dryer which looking from afar did not look like an easy job for a 21-year-old girl who lives alone and knows nothing about installing dryers. I could've killed myself. The supervisor hung up on me and told me he's done talking to me after I told him what happened and asked him what he was going to do about it. If I could rate this zero stars I would. After 4 attempts to have my dryer installed it appears like I will have to do it myself because Lowe's and the incompetent team they hire for installation. I purchased a washer and dryer June 4th. I took the washer home with me because I needed a washer right away. Attempt to get the dryer installed: #1 Dryer and pedestal were brought 7/11/22 to my house, unboxed when it was discovered the little feet to the dryer pedestal were not included. They left the dryer and pedestal in my garage so they would not damage it by putting it back into their truck. I Attempted to explain this several times to their delivery team including emails to show them what I needed and what I got. #2 Delivery people showed up 7/25/22 with a stacking kit. NO FEET for the pedestal. For the life of my I don't know how tall they think I am or how tall my ceilings are but to put a washer on top of a pedestal and then a pedestal onto of the washer and then a dryer on top of that would make this close to ten feet tall. At barely clearing 5'3" I can just see the top of my washer on a good day. #3 8/5/22 Scheduled delivery, did not tell me, got a phone call the night before, rearranged the plans and then the dudes didn't show up. They claimed they showed up yet I didn't hear them and no one called me. #4 8/15/22 Scheduled delivery dudes showed up to "install" the feet onto my pedestal. So they came to screw little bolts to the bottom of my dryer pedestal that is still sitting in my garage from 7/11/22. Apparently I am not intelligent enough to screw feet onto the bottom of the pedestal. They said they were only told to and only get paid to screw these feet onto the pedestal. I can't even make this crap up if I tried! Then they had the audacity to lie to their manager and say that they were told NOT TO INSTALL THE DRYER. Why would I want someone to bring tiny little feet to my house but not install the dryer when they're right across the freeway. Lowe's has not been helpful, it's been hours with this last ordeal and I'm still waiting for an answer. When I hire someone to install it I will send them a bill. read more

I've been shopping here for about 5 years and can honestly say THIS IS THE WORST LOWE'S I have ever shopped. #1. Trying to find help is like looking for water in a desert. You may make eye contact with an employee when hunting for help, but be prepared to have to verbally ask for help, instead of them asking if you need anything. #2. Once you find help, the chances of them actually being able to help is slim, or if they need to get back to you after helping another customer, it is highly likely you will be forgotten about. #3. The cashiers are slow. I don't know what that's all about, but they are. Consistently. On my trip there on 8/13/2021... I went to get a wall shelf. There was a pallet of product Exactly in front of where I needed to pull the shelf from. I asked about the turf that was displayed on a sign out front, the dude in the nursery said it was out of stock; the website said they have it in stock; I found it in the carpeting department; no store associates were in the flooring department so I had to use the call button And get someone else to use the intercom to call for help; when help arrived, the girl said she would get to me when she was done getting tile down for another customer; literally 20 minutes later I look for the girl I spoke with and she had forgotten about me. On my way out the door a loader asked if I needed help, I said yes and pointed to where my car was parked, and he did not follow me resulting in no help. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. read more

They have a lot of stuff, like every other Lowe's. But their customer service is pretty irritating. They never, ever answer their phones. Ever. And some of the younger, inexperienced staff are a bit too laid back and out of it (and I'm only 27). Carpet Purchase Nightmare- Paid in full for new carpet back in December and just had it installed in March. The customer service from the carpet sales person was horrible... no communication on updates or and wouldn't return calls.
