They have a wide selection I came here to look at smokers and flooring. I was unable to go down so isles with my wheelchair because they had carts and things stacked up in the middle of the isle. The staff is fantastic and very helpful and a lot of them are animal lovers. Ben was very helpful in helping us pick out smoker. Ben set up delivery for Monday. Josh helped us select the correct floor with a 22 thickness so my two dogs wouldn't scratch the floor easily. The estimate includes them ripping up the rugs and moving furniture. Purchased a patio door with dog door 10/1/2025. Contracted to have it installed by lowes, who sub contact it to integrity first installations. Scheduled a measurement which was completed. On November 28 they came to install the door. Unfortunately they couldn't install it as they said measurements were incorrect. They did send out another person to measure who was 4 hours late. After many conversations with Lowe's and installers they found out the door was the correct size, but Lowe's had the wrong size for the dog door, small, vs the xl I needed for my German shepherd and my Belgium Malinois. Need to say a very frustrating experience and Lowe's didn't really care I cancelled the order and requested a refund, which I received. Waisted a lot of my time. Will go elsewhere. I've had a few highs in WNY, but this was one of the Lowe's. Way down south in Orchard Park located in the same Plaza as a Tops you will find this Lowes. Large store stocked with all kinds of stuff - some of which is bargain and some of which is mid-price, but then they're also overpriced on some items as well. So you probably have to know the market prices for what you're looking for. So you don't pay too much. I can't decide between here and Home Depot but I think this might be a little cheaper. A guy offered to help me which was nice. Didn't happen in the last Lowe's I was in, in Detroit about a month earlier. I'm glad that help was forthcoming if I had needed it. I had a really disappointing experience at this location yesterday. I went in looking for replacement parts for a sprinkler system. After looking up and down the entire store I decided to try the outdoor garden section. Employees had several aisles blocked off because of a pallet lift truck that was, I assume, supposed to be lifting merchandise down from higher shelves to the ground to be restocked. However, 5-6 employees were gathered near it all telling stories. I waited patiently for a few minutes, then started moving closer when it seemed story hour wasn't going to end. After 10 minutes of walking around this area to get someone's attention, one of the associates finally asked if I needed help. When I told him what I was looking for, he actually encouraged me to walk through the barricade (the one that specifically says "do not cross") to look myself. After a few minutes of looking, another employee said, "Oh, we don't sell that stuff here." Did I mention it was pouring rain outside and this was in the non-covered section outside? It was 11am on a Tuesday and the store was practically empty of other customers. I went to the Hamburg location, found what I needed within a couple minutes, and even had an employee approach me to make sure I didn't need help. Get it together OP! read more

Had the worst experience ever purchasing a range. It took waiting 30 minutes to find a sales person to sell it. Next huge delays in delivery and installation. I had to wait for a week with 2 stoves in my house until the installer (who was from Best Buy) to install. It's still not installed as the driver called yesterday because his partner was sick. Today he called and tried not to come because of weather. I then texted him a picture of a clear path he said he would be coming...still waiting. I'm done with Lowe's. I recommend Orville's in the Buffalo area for appliances. Going back to them from now on! Also missed two days of work over this. Lowe's you should not be in the appliance business. read more

I was APPALLED at the behavior of an employee towards another employee tonight. While shopping tonight at approximately 7:30PM we turned into check-stand 7 to checkout just as the young man turned off his light. We don't normally go through self checkout, but since it was all that was now open we joined the line building there. While waiting for a self checkout to free up the young lady supervising Self Checkout asked the young man why his light was off. He then SCREAMED back at her that it was none of her business. She asked (without screaming) why his light was off again and said "you can't close down the last check-stand" he again screamed for everyone to hear "I'm on the damn phone, I can't help people when I'm on the phone!" She yelled back "you can't just close down all the registers because you're on the phone." He screamed even louder "go back to self checkout and mind your business." At which point she looked at everyone waiting in the self checkout area clearly VERY embarrassed and apologized as she moved to direct the line that had formed. I'm absolutely HORRIFIED that an employee feels it's ok to SCREAM very angrily at a fellow employee AT ALL, much less in front of customers. This is my neighborhood Lowes, but I do not want ANY PART of that level of toxic environment. I hope the young lady finds a better job that will protect her from verbally abusive coworkers. I tried to call the store after leaving to inform a manager on staff what had happened, but despite calling 3 times no one answered. I then tried to call the corporate customer service line, but of course their office hours were closed. I'll be calling tomorrow because hit was in no way ok for any employee to be treated like that, but to be screamed at by a coworker in front of customers she is helping is going too far. read more

Went to Lowe's paint department to be confronted by a fast talking, upselling, no listening salesperson. She tried to talk me into a $60 gallon of paint, I said no thanks and told her what I wanted. When I checked out, I realized she had given me the $60 gallon of paint. When the cashier asked her about it, she came over and said, "Did I grab the wrong one? Yep, that was me." She grabbed the can to take it back and said she'd mix another one. I had to cancel the rest of my order to go wait for her to mix another can of paint, with no apology. I will give this location a few good points. One - they knew what creeping Jenny was, knew where it was located and knew what a flat was - though they didn't have it! This location was better organized, better stocked and had people that seemed to know a whole lot more about everything. Even the bathrooms were on the clean side of things. Though the plants looked a bit picked over - there were still plenty to pick from and the selection/variety was good. They also had some pretty awesome outdoor furniture - almost made me want to buy some! We came in and fell in love with a whole kitchen setup. We were ready to drop a lot of money on the spot but the salesperson said she didn't have time for us and she was going to go to lunch. We explained our schedules were hectic and she insisted we take a card and call them when we were ready. So we went to buy a toilet and vanity. After waiting around for a little while someone finally showed up and explained he was in the middle of something and had to call someone to tell them he was busy. I am not a fan of mega hardware/home improvement centers. I find that the man/women children supposedly employed by Lowe's are generally more concerned about incoming texts that helping me locate what I need. That being said I must say that I was quite impressed by the female who helped me purchase a washer and made sure that it was delivered within 24 hours. I apologize; I cannot recall her name. She did not try to up sell or dissuade me from my choice - a practice I find totally abhorrent. I have owned a very expensive HE washer for not so many years. To be perfectly honest I never felt that it did a great job. The control panel was on the top and emitted heat...which was a siren song for my cats to sit on said panel and change pretty much all that I had preprogrammed. This I could deal with. What I could not understand was why the door - front loader - just flew off on its own last week. Seriously. Middle of the night. I needed a washer and I needed one FAST. I wanted cheap. No nonsense. Basic drum top loader. And I got what I needed . Basic Hotpoint at a very realistic price and delivered by two very nice young men within my 24 hour window. With pets and grand children, my washer is always on call. read more

Bought a double wall oven in May. They delivered wrong oven 2 months later and actually hooked it up the wall space meant for the larger correct oven. They scratched the wall and the floor when they put in the wrong oven. When they came to take it back, the men said they could not take it because it was hooked up to the electric. I said I will disconnect it for them so they could get it out of my house. Waited 2 more weeks and went into the store because no one contacted me to let me know what was going on. They didn't even know they had picked up the wrong oven. I canceled the sale and am awaiting the credit. If you buy something from them to be installed you should have your head examined! Worst service and morons being sent out to deliver (they actually delivered the unit and it sat in my kitchen for two or three weeks before an install person came out) and install (actually put the wrong oven in the larger opening with a 3" gap on either side and hooked it up to the electric). Made my FIRST & LAST purchase at Lowe's this past Sunday. It was hot outside, very hot! I decided to get another room air conditioner for my home. I usually shop online, but in this instance, there was no time to wait for delivery. I checked out Lowe's online and they had just what I wanted. I went to this store, bought the unit and went home, following a stop at my son's. Upon unpacking this appliance I found that it had already been used! Partial weather-stripping was still attached to the unit (the stripping that was suppose to come along with the A/C was gone), all of the mounting hardware was missing, except for 2 screws and there were bugs splattered on the front of the unit. Selling used product as new is fraud! I had to wait a day to make a return because they close early on Sunday. No more Lowe's for me! read more
