We needed to replace our upstairs windows due to some storm damage, and contracted with Lowes to install the windows. Little did we know the nightmare that would await. The installers they sent from Farrow were inexperienced, and managed to put in one of the sills crooked. Then, the stucco installer did not use a drop cloth and left debris and damaged our shingles. The stucco did not pass inspection due to multiple large cracks. When the installer from Farrow came out to repair the stucco, he said there was no way to patch it and it would need to be redone. Now Lowe's is saying they will not replace and will only patch, and Farow has not reached out to set a new appointment. This has been going on for over 6 month, and the inspector has stated that the stucco will never pass inspection in its current condition. In addition, one of the windows arrived with a broken screen. Pella techs were sent out to determine that yes, it was broken, but they insisted that Lowe's would need to order and install the parts themselves. When the installer arrived, he had the wrong parts. Pella reordered the broken paet and set an appointment for over a month away. When the appointment date was close I reached out to find out wh time the were coming. Their phone service said that it was outside of normal business hours, despite calls multiple times during the day. No-one ever reached out or showed up, and upon calling Pella, the scheduler could not be reached. I did speak to a Lowe's manager who assured me that she would make sure things got moving again. However, since then I have repeated calls from Lowe's associates regarding how Farrow should have already reached out, and I would need to contact Pella directly, which I have already tried and failed. Do NOT USE Lowes for Window installation for any reason. If I could give a zero stars score I would do so. read more

This place tends to annoy me more and more every time I go. Zero customer service anymore barely any one ever working there the kids that work there are texting the whole time can never find anyone to help. I was just there for 30 minutes and not a single employee was in any aisle, so I left and I'll just go to Ace where I get greeted and helped every time I go. I don't have any experiences with this Lowe's location that I can rave home about. If anything, I might have had several that have left me a little annoyed. For a while I was frequenting Lowe's weekly or at least once a week after purchasing our home. It was an ok experience and I mostly found what I needed, but consistently I feel like finding an employee to help has been a tall order task and when you do they're not always the most helpful. One particular experience that irks me is when I was looking for terracotta pots and their website shown they had over 48 in stock but the shelves displayed 0; which likely meant they were stored on a pallet above. I struggled to find a person to help me for 10 minutes and ended up leaving and told myself to order for online pick up because it's much easier to fill an order that way. I did have a positive experience a separate occasion picking out tile for my bathroom. A helpful gentleman was digging through boxes and boxes of tiles to find me the right batch and lot numbers for each box so the colors would match. This is so helpful to have especially when picking tile with a moderate to high shade variation. Overall I rate this Lowe's a 3-star experience. It's just OK, can be great, can be a miss.. just depends on the day. read more

I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for many years and keep giving them a chance to be better, yet I think it's time to give up. One of the first debacles took place about 4 years ago on a full kitchen appliance order; took nearly one year to complete the order with no help from the store. I was in today to see about ordering a new refrigerator, to replace the Samsung because it has never made ice consistently. There were 4 associates standing and talking, and had to interrupt their conversation for help. The woman who "helped" seemed inconvenienced that I was asking questions about their product. Maybe it's "Opposite Tuesday" and I was supposed to treat them as my guest? Having a difficult time justifying another $ spent at Lowe's, which is too bad. If I could give zero stars I would, have had THE MOST awful experience dealing with this store and their delivery service who seems to be contracted out through another company. They were very kind and helpful in store, when they wanted to take our $$. Spent a significant amount of money on 3 new appliances and during the FIRST use the stove started malfunctioning. Have now been getting the run around for a week about the process to get it replaced. You call the # for the delivery company and IF you get anyone on the phone, because you will be on hold for upwards of an hour, they'll transfer you around 2-3 different times and never give you a straight answer. Then called the Lowe's store and had to sit on hold for over 10 minutes just to get a person on this phone. At this point, save yourself the trouble and go down the street to Home Depot! read more

We came to Lowes at the Oviedo mall to get our Christmas tree and were lucky to grab one of the 2 last 10-footers. The guys at the Christmas tree area were super helpful, although management had ONE guy at the Christmas tree area... not good. Then a second guys arrived and it state moving. They were useful and super nice so the 2-stars are due solely due to these guys at the Christmas trees tent. Now, they had 2 coupons published: 10% off everything and 15% off christmas trees one of which i wanted to hopefully use. The cashier told me they didn't apply (even though the coupons didn't have exclusions) so i asked her to call the manager to see if he could help. So Roger (the manager) came after a wait of about 15 min and when I showed him the coupons he admitted that they were confusing and didn't have exclusions but that they still didn't apply to the Christmas tree I got. That's it. He didn't think to try to make it right or offer any alternative - so the 2nd half of the experience was just mediocre. Now I understand the average 2-3 star yelp rating and totally agree. In contrast I went to Ace Hardware on Alafaya and customer service was exceptional. They'll get my hardware business moving forward! read more

I probably stop in this particular location about once/month to grab something for either my garden or indoor plants The garden section is generally well organized and clean. For the square footage, they have a decent selection of plants, shrubs and trees. Each time that I've had to ask an associate for assistance they were always very friendly, helpful and knew the answers to my questions. Typically, this area isn't very busy during my visits so the check out lines are short and sweet. I like that I can get in and out quickly. read more

The service at this Lowe's is absolutely horrendous catch yourself standing in the return section with one person and 13 other employees walking around greeting you saying good morning and good afternoon. Also another issue the cashiers tender ring up multiple items with one scan for one product so when you go and return stuff at this location, they give you the runaround and say oh it looks like only one of your products scanned but the other didn't, ma'am how is that possible? Have spent thousands and thousands of dollars here only to go to return a propane tank they sold me with a LEAK! They sold me this dangerous crap tank in September 2021 I used it maybe 10 times for 10 minutes each time and it had run out of propane and I found out it was leaking by going to ace hardware for a refill. A leaking propane tank is seriously dangerous and I expected Lowes to have good customer service but NOPE! They said it's past 90 days so we can't give you your money back. Umm my ass you can't! As owner/manager of several houses, I have used Lowes Oviedo as my mainstay provider for building and repair materials for several years. The staff is mostly excellent, from store manager to the loading personnel. About a year ago, they fired their delivery department and started subcontracting deliveries out to god knows who. Since that time there has been no coordination possible with delivery times or dates, and frequent problems with deliveries. I have had to cut my business with Lowes roughly in half, as the expense of dealing with unscheduled or poorly scheduled deliveries became overwhelming. So highly recommended for purchasing almost anything, but be sure its something you can carry with you. read more

The customer service was great! Sean was amazing!!! He helped two customers at the same time. We both wanted seat cushions and he had to use the high reach lift. He brought down three different boxes from the top shelves. He made everyone happy As we where checking out Angeleta was waiting with the biggest smile waving for us to come over to her register. Ordered a new range and dishwasher. Lowe's said it would be installed. They even had me purchase the cords needed to have it installed by them. Delivery guys from XPO just arrived and said they cannot install the appliances. I'm sure it's not challenging to install but I have an 8-month-old and I'm pregnant so now I will have to pay someone to come install these ASAP so I can use them this evening. This is a great Lowe's. The customer service is always impeccable and the store is very well kept, organized, and clean. That's a hard feat for a home improvement store! Items that I have needed have always been in stock, but I have heard that you can have items delivered fairly quickly if you need them. A staff member helped me the other evening and as he was walking me to the correct location, he was gently pushing items back and straightening the store aisle. There is something to be said about a workplace whose employees care about the cleanliness of the store so much that cleaning is simply an absent-minded walk down an aisle. read more

However they would not honor the deal the told me when I came in a couple weeks ago and ordered the measurements. I wish I could give them -5 stars for the experience I have had with my windows and sliding doors. DO NOT USE THEM!! Lies, incompetency, disrespectful reps, and no sense of customer service. I could go into the details, but I would be writing for hours if I did. Bottom line, I ordered my windows and two sliding doors in Aug. '22 and I today received a notice the installer can get me on their schedule at the very end of April '23. I had to say that didn't work because we were having our first child that same time. Put that into perspective, Lowe's I hope you care to read this, my wife who got pregnant the in Aug '22 (same time we placed the order for the windows), will have gone through her entire pregnancy when the windows and doors would be installed. And yes, we have been paying on our order since it was placed. Joe a Fran The manager of the Oviedo Lowe's was nice enough to trade out my faulty refrigerator. The delivery was a disaster. They came in and said it would not fit. I had difficulty understanding them for they speaking in Spanish to each other. Then they just left without a word. There was no 30 minute call so we could unload our refrigerator. So we rushed to unload it. Yes and they just left. I called Lowes. Brandon from delivery said he would send them back. They came and decided to use the opposite door that was previously use by Lowes to bring it in. After they returned they made me move my car, and take everything out of the refrigerator again. They disconnected the fridge and asked me for a towel and a pail. I complied. They removed the fridge. They brought the new one in and hook it up. They refused to push it into place. They asked me, ( a disabled senior citizen) to do it. I pushed it in, in disgust, the needed 3 feet without damage to counter or cabinets. They asked me to signed a form. I asked for a copy. He told me to take a picture of it and I did. They left without a word. We had to remove all the tape and packing from the fridge to be able to load the fridge again. So we have a new fridge with a damaged door that they missed when bringing it in. They said that was the manufacturer's problem. I and my wife are disabled senior citizens. Yet I had to push the fridge in 3 feet because they thought there would be damage. And I am hurting as a result. We are exhausted and disgusted with Lowes. read more

So I had to miss fortune of purchasing an oven from this Lowe's. I also made the mistake of asking them to deliver it. I did this under the assumption that if it wasn't working when they brought it then I would be able to have them take it back. When Lowes does a delivery they only call you the night before. So obviously if you're working you have to take the entire day off because you do not know when that two hour window will be. They also do not give you an option as to what the two hour window will be. They just had a robot call you up to inform you of when this will be. In my case, it was 2 to 4 PM. As I dictate this it is now 6 PM. For their two hour window has turned into a four hour window. And of course, they are not here. So if you value your time, your money, and anything else. CONS: Employees frequently have no clues where products are. For example, the other night I came here in preparing for Hurricane Irene seeking portable generators. Would you assume that every employee would know where hurricane prep stuff would be sold at? Apparently not at this location. I approached two employees and asked where could I find portable generators, they had no idea... then they were chatting with each other in confusion and they were walking around trying to guess where it could be. They approached another team member to inquire, he gave the exact location. Then they said you are all set to go but never accompanied me to make sure it was the right location. A few minutes later in Lowe's maze, finally I found the generators and geez! Customer service, people! Even worse, on my way out of the store... found some generators in front of cashiers. GEEZ! We were remodeling our master bath. We had never done this so we relied on the cabinet expect. Ended up with a 4 drawer cabinet that 3 of the drawers are so small that medicine bottles can't set up in them. They are pretty must useless for bathroom items. I think this is a kitchen cabinet that we paid extra to have cut down , which I'm pretty sure we needed a bathroom 3 drawer cabinet that had deeper. He was the expert! The expert ordered another cabinet with three drawers(which is deeper and we like) but we had to have spacers to fill in the gap. Come to find out they make a cabinet the size we needed. Could have had bigger drawers. The expert, ordered kitchen cabinets for the bathroom sick cabinets. So our handyman had to cut holes in the back of each cabinets. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR CABINETS . If you've never ordered cabinets before. We did get some money back for the cabinets that the expert ordered wrong. because kitchen cabinets were more money. They gave us a small amount for us having to pay the handman to do extra work on the cabinet. We got nothing extra for our trouble. I emailed the man we worked with after everything asking for a touch up paint kit for the cabinets. Never heard a word from him. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because I like the cabinets we picked out. Please be beware and know exactly what you need. read more

I have to rave about the customer service I received from Glenn and Jim in the appliances department. Glenn initially helped me purchase my package and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. It took us 4 hours to find a matching set that would be delivered in time for schedule. He was patient and determined to make it happen for me. Once my appliances finally arrived, it turned out the stove I ordered did not fit into my island and was not the style I thought it would be. So I went into Lowe's to figure it out and that's when Jim helped me. Jim was amazing and came up with a solution when we thought there wasn't one. He showed that he really cared about fixing the issue and did everything he could to do so! Overall, I had a great experience with the customer service I received in the appliance department. If you want to be treated like a human don't go here or at least avoid Tonya(heavyset blonde). We are in the process of closing a home and were treated as if we were broke and had no other options. We attempted to use a progressive credit so our credit was not impacted and 4 individuals had no clue how to even apply it. We asked when we entered what we needed to do and we were told to download the app and start scanning. After about an hour we went to customer service and told them we had completed. At that point the young lady said "I don't know how to do these, we only do about 3 a year" and called for two other ladies to come over, one being Tonya. Tonya then ignored the questions being asked to tell the other lady what was the "proper" way, both were wrong. Then she says "Nobody ever does this". My wife says we have before and it has been great and you all should know how to do this. To which Tonya replied, "Yeah if you want to pay twice as much for it". Wrong again Tonya. You have a same as cash term to where you can buy and not take a credit hit when you are in the closing process of buying a home. At this she starts huffing and puffing like a balloon deflating, saying she doesn't have to deal with this. At this point my wife and here begin to argue. She finally called her manager, which she should have called when she didn't know what to do. So the manager comes and attempts to deescelate, but does Tonya leave? Nope, steady attempting to make the situation more uncomfortable. What can I say....plain and simple, super friendly sales people.....BUT a tankless water heater that is $800 with installation come to 4 thousand. When I asked for a breakdown of the installation price. I TELL THEM IS ONLY REPLACING THE EXISTING UNIT. They do not know STILL 4K. What they know is that included insurance and permit. Called city hall asked about a permit...WHICH I DO NOT NEED BECAUSE WE ARE REPLACING THE ONE THERE...call their competition we all know who it is...$1400.00 installed....never shop at Oviedo homedepot. read more

I purchases a range hood on 5/31. The next day, I saw Home Depot had the exact same make/model/color hood for $21 less at regular price. Not on sale, mind you, REGULAR everyday price. I went back to the store for the price match +10% as advertised. The young lady at the customer service desk proceeds to tell me they don't price match anymore. (see previous link) She called a manager to confirm they don't price match. I mentioned the +10% as well. She promptly tells me no. They don't that anymore either. Instead of arguing, I just returned the hood. After the return was complete, we showed the other CS rep the page on Lowe's site advertising the price match +10% that "supposedly" doesn't exist anymore. (again, see the link) Even after the proof on their own web site, they still played dumb. I went to Home Depot and purchased the hood there instead. I'll be shopping at Home Depot from now on. UPDATE!!: This gets even more comical. After calling the number on the site for further details, 1-877-465-6937, the phone rep claims to never have heard of this price match +10%. After explaining to her where it was on the site and her reading it word for word back to me, she would not say if it was still honored or not even after asking her again. read more

We went in to see if we could refund a purchase and redo the sale with another appliance added, to take advantage of a 3 yr finance plan offered on projects over $2000. John, at Customer Service, explained nicely what needed to happen, and through a mistake in invoicing in the appliance dept and numerous phone calls, remained cordial and calm, explaining everything along the way.
