I have been a loyal Lowes customer for almost twenty years. Both here and in Massachusetts until now. Back in March I ordered a washer/dryer for my home in Florida. I had snowbirds in and needed to replace mine as it died. They were to deliver, install and remove the old unit. They arrived and drove off. When I was made aware I called the distribution center who told me, in one, four different stories why it couldn't be delivered. The snowbirds were not home, lie. The snowbirds turned the delivery away, lie. A screw was missing from the old unit so they couldn't take it, I don't know what that meant. The new one was damaged, I doubt they took it out of the box. I was then told that Lowes isn't responsible for their delivery service as it's an outside company. It took days for the new unit to be delivered and I had to pay another person to remove the original. I also had to give the snowbirds compensation to avoid a bad review. After all was said and done I once again reached out to customer service. They agreed that the service was subpar. I was given a e-gift card. Two weeks later I went to PCB and went to Lowes to purchase a kitchen faucet. When I went to use the gift card the cashier said it was empty. I called customer service again explained that I had not used the gift card. The rep opened a file and escalated the matter. Weeks later I received and e-mail stating the gift card had been used. NO KIDDING...I responded back once again explaining I didn't use it. A return email said they'd look into it. After a week I called because no one got back to me. The CS rep once again escalated my concern and said a supervisor would call me today, another lie. I got this in an e-mail: If you believe the card was used fraudulently, Lowe's recommends filing a police report so our Asset Protection team can initiate further research. Please reference Case # and provide a copy of the police report and any related correspondence. These documents may be sent via fax to 336?658?3209 or emailed to dco907@lowes.com. Additionally, law enforcement will need to submit an evidence release request to the same contact information. The request must include: Signature of the investigating officer Completion of the 5 Whys analysis to determine the root cause Printed on official department letterhead Officer's name, phone number, and email address Once Lowe's Asset Protection receives the evidence release request, the information will be reviewed to assist with the active investigation. We understand this process may require additional time and effort, and we sincerely regret the frustration this has caused. TLDR: Skylar (I believe was his name) in the lot was is excellent employee and even better person! lI'll start by saying I'm not usually a Lowe's customer, but they had tiles my wife loved so we got them and had them delivered. There were some complications with the order, so I had a large return that I had to load in my truck and take back. I'm a disabled veteran and this was a lot to load and unload. When I got out of the truck I asked him if he could give me a hand unloading after I found a flat cert and he said of course. He helped me unload everything, and pushed it into the store. He was polite, professional, and went above and beyond. He is HANDS DOWN has the best attitude and was the most helpful of any Lowe's ever employee I've ever encountered. If there were more like him, I'd probably shop there more. read more

I hired Lowes for a simple 3-day flooring install in my vacant home--and weeks later they still haven't finished. They ordered the wrong material, never re-ordered the right stuff, and questions go unanswered. Because of this mess I've had to pull the property off the market, losing time and potential buyers. I purchased a stackable washer/dryer this morning that had a dent in the side,the side goes up against a wall so not seen. I asked if it happened in the warehouse and was told" probably" at no point was I told it was "used"! If they are going to sell USED items they should write it on the card when they put the discount. I got it home very heavy by myself by the way spent two hours moving the used ones downstairs and hooking this one up. I then turned it on and the dryer does not work!! So now I have to disconnect it get it back downstairs load it in my vehicle and take it back to thefreakin store! All because they were not honest! I will get my money back and go across the street to Home Depot and buy one there!! The Store Manager is horrible and will not take a phone call. The location treats helping customers like a burden. Ask for something and they tell you the general location of an item. Or better they tell you to ask someone in the other department, even though it's a ghost town in that department. I guess it's too difficult a task to walk you to where something is and assist with finding it. Asked for a shopping cart as I was carrying a few things and was told they're by the front door. My maytag 7.3 Cu Ft. Stackable Dryer went out after 4 years. Control panel and labor was going to be over $800. Ordered the exact same Maytag dryer to replace because the matching Maytag dryer, also stackable, has the stacking kit already. . . was going to be easy swap of exact same model/dimension dryer with defective same maytag model and dryer - get that? Same model new dryer to be stacked, with existing stacking kit, on companion Maytag washer - also just 4 years old. I even put in the online ordering notes that it is a tight closet, but it should be easy to stack as it is the same model dryer and there already is a stacking kit attached. Guess what, Lowe's delivery guys show up and call me and say it is against their policy to put a new dryer on an older washer - even though the new dryer was exact same as old dryer and the washer is the matching Maytag washer only 4 years old. I spoke with both the delivery manager and the store manager and of course was furious because all they could do is keep reciting their policy. It is NOWHERE described on Lowe's website, and as I said, I already put it in the install notes that it would be stacked on existing matching Maytag washer. Mangers basically blamed me and considered it as Lowes doing me a favor to refund my purchase price for the dryer I bought that is somewhere along the panhandle in a truck and not installed in my condo. Meantime, I extended the family renting my condo $200 in good will since they are now on vacation and can't wash their clothes. Run, don't walk, away from this Lowes. read more

There is always an employee to help you. We've been coming to this Lowe's for two weeks getting everything from vanities to mirrors and everything in between. Worst experience at a Lowe's in a long time! Having a bathroom redone by Lowe's with Southern Construction doing the "work". This job is going on 9 weeks! Not a huge bathroom, roughly 7' x 12'. Replace vanity and sink, replace and enlarged shower, new tiled over floor and paint! The design gn "specialist" from Lowe's has no concern, even the people in NC have no concern with this job that was said to be 3 weeks long...at best! If you are thinking of interior home improvements, ask if Southern doing the work. If answer is yes, get up and go to the Depot! People in Lowe's do not care!! If I could give zero , I would ! Sadly ordered GE washer /dryer on line 2-3 and delivered from Panama City store broken on 2-14. Waited 3 days for someone to call back after calling at least twice daily for HELP. Spoke to 1-800 people and she recomend I purchase a Maytag (better reviews) so I did. She said they would credit me back after picking up. They picked it up but it doesn't make it back to the store until the next day? Well , they come to deliver Maytag set and when guys open box it had multiple dents on dryer so they suggested not to take . So , they don't deliver Maytag set but pick up 1st GE set. So they have BOTH sets of machines and $3900 and I have no machines. Called store and they disconnect you ! 1-800 line tells you wait 24 hrs and a manager will call ? That never happened. So I guess in the midst of Covid I need to drive 90 miles to a Lowe's store to get my monies back for they can take money over the phone but can't seem to refund it over the phone. Beyond disappointed & frustrated. Actually , the 3rd party delivery guys were nice , professional and courteous. As far as any Lowe's person , nobody has helped. They all pass along and someone in corporate should maybe call the Panama City store and see how your just transferred to dead lines ! No one ever answers ..... this experience began 2/3 and as if 2/19 I have no machines and you have my funds ! On May 13, 2022 I ordered blinds and installation. There's a sign in the store (Panama City Beach, FL) stating up to 8 or 9 blinds installed for $99. I paid and left. I ordered three blinds online since they weren't sold in stores. Around the 17th, my windows were measured for blinds. Five windows were measured, and the installer said Lowe's would have the measurements by the next afternoon. I hadn't heard anything by about the 19th, so I went to the store, and was told the measurements weren't in the computer. They called their Installation Department, which told them to call someone else, that told them to call the installers, which said they had been sent to Lowe's on the 18th. So she had to call everyone back again, and finally got all the measurements. It took at lease 30 or 40 minutes, and she was aggravated because no one at Lowe's was helping. She cut the blinds (3 from online, 2 from in store) and I took them home. The installer was scheduled for May 25th between 9 am and 12 pm. About 10 am the installer calls saying Lowe's has me down for two blinds. I told him there were five. He shows up later and says he called the Lowe's install department, and they said two blinds only, even though my contract showed five. I told him if he didn't install five, I didn't want any installed. He was mad, and left. So back I go to the store, and they are saying my contract states five, and he should have installed five. Then they have to go through the whole calling thing again. It was so frustrating to have to wait there for another 30 minutes or so, and still not have anything worked out. Later that afternoon I called the install department at Lowe's and was told by Tawana that there are no supervisors since they work remote, and asked me to hold. When she came back, she told me she called the installers and they would give me a call by the third to schedule me. All of this was crap because the do have supervisors, and all she did was get the same info I already had. She hadn't actually helped at all. I receive a text on June 3rd stating I was scheduled for my blinds to be installed on June 8th. I called the install department to make sure it was for five blinds, not two, and was told that the store has to put the blinds I ordered online onto the contract (i.e. showing as merchandise purchased). Back to the store I went again! Debbie and Tracey were probably madder than I was at this point. Thank goodness for them, since everyone else I talk to weren't interested in solving the problem. While all of this was going on, I decided to buy a ceiling fan and have it installed through Lowe's. What was I thinking???? I guess I was hoping for a better result. The company scheduled, and then cancelled on: June 10th; June 17th; June 23rd; and June 24th. The excuse was either someone called out sick or they were overbooked. I call Lowe's Customer "Care", and Ashley said she would write something up and send it to HQ(?) and transferred me to Brandon at HQ. When I asked what they were going to do about all the days I had to take off work, he said he didn't understand what I meant. I explained that I lost work, and he replied that my installations were never confirmed since the contractor never contacted me. That would have been helpful!! LOL. He did nothing, but transferred me to Barbie, who said she would refund the installation fee, even though she saw that I had taken everything back to Lowe's and got it all refunded already. Lowe's installation is truly awful, and I would recommend never, never using them. And the screws are already falling out of the blinds. But I honestly don't want to have to deal with them anymore. read more

Do not bother to buy appliances for delivery from Lowe's Home Improvement in Panama City, Fl. We were given a delivery time frame only to have them change it. We adjusted our Saturday. The day of the delivery, they leave a message that they are enroute and will be there in 30 minutes. I left my grandsons birthday party early, because it's before our new scheduled time frame. They are not at my house and after checking my camera, they never came to my house! The delivery driver did not answer when we tried returning his call. Lowe's was zero help. I do not have my refrigerator! This is a joke, buy from Home Depot and buy a case of beer for a friend with a truck to bring it to your house. read more

Then I took a tile back, I had one piece but no receipt - oh they said this is a charge for a whole box $60 dollars, oh I said your gal sold me 1 piece and I have no reciept and lost it. Although they were slightly understaffed for the business they had today on this beautiful Saturday at the beach , we had THE MOST HELPFUL associate ! His name was James and he helped us With outdoor lighting ., we couldn't find the fixture we wanted and he went above and beyond to try and locate one for us both in the store and at other locations ., ended up even getting someone to take down the display for us so we could have the one we wanted ! I set up a appointment in store for someone to come out and measure for carpet. The appointment was for today(Monday) between 8-12. I told the guy in the flooring department that I would be out of cell service range Saturday and phone would be off, so if they call to confirm, please leave a voicemail and I will call back when I have cell service Saturday evening. The guy told me not to worry, they will call Monday morning. Fast forward to today. I wait all morning. I call the store in PCB at 12 to see what time they were coming. The rep said that the installers cancelled my appointment today because they called Saturday and my phone was off. They did not even leave me a voicemail. Half of a day completely wasted. Extremely disappointed with Lowes and the Lowes Panama CIty Beach delivery guy!!! Ordered a dryer for the rental unit, paid extra for delivery, set up and removal of the old dryer. Was told it was in stock when we ordered it only to find out four days later it wasn't! Then was told they would deliver today Monday July 10th but would call on Sunday to tell us the time! Another epic fail.... got a call 10 minutes before arrival after I called yesterday and this Morning... trying to plan etc. Just got a call from my Dad, they dropped off the dryer, no set up, and did not take the old dryer(because we didn't have it disconnected and ready to go... which was not explained) Now we are dealing with this situation from Texas with renters checking in at 3:00pm today! Where to begin? It's to bad I can't give a negative rating. Started on Sat. April 23rd. We bought a floor model fridge and an oven. They had to order the oven but could deliver the fridge Sunday. Our delivery window was 9:45 am to 1:45 pm. So we get to our house at 9:30. It's being remodeled due to Hurricane Michael. We wait and wait at a house with no electric or plumbing. At 12:45 they call and say they don't have our fridge. They think someone bought it after we did and took it home then. The guy says he will find us another one and call me at 4:00 Monday. No call. I begin calling the store at 4:37. I lost count of how many times I called and couldn't get anyone to pick up. I finally called a complaint line outside of the store. Mark was very helpful and perplexed as to what was going on as was I. He finally got the store manager to call me. Turns out our fridge was in the back room all along. I tell her to deliver it on Thursday. Someone calls on Tuesday and ask when I want it delivered. Duh! I wait on Wed. for the call of the time they will deliver. No call. I call on Thursday morning. They said our delivery window is 5pm to 9pm. Seriously!! Then at 10:45am the delivery guy calls and says they are on there way. ?? Whatever, we drop our plans and make the 45 min trip to the house. No show on the delivery. Call at 1:00 and he tells me he called the wrong person and he'll be there in an hour. They show up at 2:45. They have the fridge and the oven. The fridge was so beat up it looked like it fell off the truck. By now I'm so fed up I send the fridge and the oven back. Head to the store to get my refund. Where I meet Ginger a manager. Ginger needs to realize if she works for a piece of crap store she's going to get angry customers. She got an attitude right away. I wont go into the exchange with Ginger,except to say she should speak in a lower tone when complaining about customers to other employees. I did finally get my money back but I will never set foot in Lowes again. read more

I would give LOWES zero stars if that was possible. Lowes Warning!!! Panama City Beach location On 12/11/17, I purchased 3 appliances for my rental condos: a smooth top range and over the range microwave for one location, and a refrigerator with icemaker for another. Purchasing new appliances should be a fun, no hassle experience, however, due to Lowes problems at every turn it was not! On the day of purchase, there were 3 Lowes employees working the appliance area. One person was helping another customer, and the 2 others were at the desk on computers. I looked around at appliances for about 10--15 mins before I asked for someone to help. Yes, that's right--I had to ask someone to sell me the appliances, it should have been the other way around. When writing the order, I told the employee I would need all delivered, all installed, and would need the old appliances taken away. I THOUGHT that's what I paid for. My delivery date was 12/17/17. On the date of delivery, the refrigerator was delivered and installed successfully. The installers told me they would meet me at Regency 1106, but there was not a cord ordered to go with the range. I told them they would need to go get a cord. They stated they may have one on the truck, but I would have to purchase it. If they didn't have one on the truck, they couldn't install, and would have to come back another day. I informed the employees that this was not acceptable. They then called my husband at home to let him know they had a cord. I called Lowes to give them my CC number so I could pay for the cord. The range was successfully installed. The employees then told me I would need to get an installer to install the microwave, that they don't install microwaves. Told them the person who wrote up my order mentioned NOTHING about a separate installation for the microwave, no additional cost to install it, NADA, ZIP! I then called the Lowes store to speak to the manager, Jeff. Jeff couldn't make this right!! He said I would have to come into the store, sign some paperwork for the installation, then he would need to send it to North Carolina to be processed. The processing takes around 48 hours per Jeff. Oh, and that will be $99 plus tax. Then after they process the installation order, they would be in touch to install my microwave. I advised Jeff this was not acceptable, and what are the other options. Jeff said there are no other options. I told Jeff this is my business, and this puts me out of business if I can't have the microwave installed since they left the boxed microwave on my countertop. Lowes failed me at every point. The sales person should have added the cord, and also should have done whatever they needed to do for installation of the microwave. Its beyond my scope of knowledge to know any of those items needed to be addressed for a successful installation. Lowes' manager did absolutely nothing, and it was a waste of my time to call him. So instead of me sending an order for microwave installation to the Lowes corporate office, I'll send this complaint, as they need to know the state of things here in Panama City Beach. I will never shop at Lowes again, and I encourage you to be very cautious if you shop there. read more

I paid Lowe's to install new counter tops and a backsplash. The counter tops look good and were installed in a timely manner. However, the backsplash has been a nightmare!! The installer stood me up twice without even a phone call and also showed up completely unanounced and complained that I wasn't there. He also lied and said that he tried to call me and text me. There were no messages from him in my phone. Also, we had to remove and redo some of the tile, because he didn't do a very good job in some places. He even glued one tile on upside down. We took pictures to prove it. It has been almost 3 weeks, and the backsplash still doesn't have grout! We went and talked to the store manager about this matter, and he acted like he couldn't care less. He sat there completely without any expression and didn't even apologize. He did say that he would get another installer to come grout the tile, but that was six days ago and I haven't heard a word. Even though we paid to have the grout installed, we are going to have to do it ourselves. I have been very patient and I have not shouted or used any profanity like a lot of people would have in my situation, because I've always believed that nasty gets you nowhere. However, in this case nice has gotten me absolutely nowhere! If you are having ANYTHING installed, do yourself a favor and do not use the Lowe's at Panama City Beach. If anything goes wrong, it will not be fixed!!! read more
