    I just submitted this to the Lowe's survey but I wanted to also share with everyone. I also come from a retail management background and was fortunate to work for a fortune 100 company. I feel like companies that might not be considered that same caliber get beat up so I wanted to acknowledge what happened to us today. As customers we can come into a store with a chip on our shoulder already and we take it out on the staff. I remember the times I was on their side and had to descalate a customer issue. And I'm not saying that staff are perfect, or don't give attitude to customers, because it happens. When I am in those situations where I see how hard they are working to help the customer I choose gratitude and acknowledge that I appreciate them. A little kindness goes a long way. We stopped by around 2p and again at 4p: While, unfortunately, we had to cancel one of pick up items I want to express how amazing our experience was. The 1st visit was to discuss a replacement for the batteries. And the CS staff was awesome, while still being short staffed. The manager who worked with us after to see if we could get a replacement was also so nice. Unfortunately, the other pick up item, a tool chest, was dented when we got home so I immediately turned around and did an exchange and again the team at CS and pick up were incredible. During the holidays customers, I know, can be extra demanding and when you're short staffed it can affect morale but each person I engaged with went above and beyond and for that we are appreciative!

    UPDATE: Key things learned in what was supposed to be a simple AC $851 purchase: 1. NEVER Purchase any Large Item/Appliances via "Lowes.com" - Worst customer support & experience EVER and we are very experienced online buyers of small and large items for personal and work use. 2. ONSITE AT YOUR LOCAL LOWES' STORE Is The "ONLY" place to purchase large items/appliances from Lowes. It was only thanks to the assistance of one of this store's employees, Jose Martinez, that we were able to get thru a nightmare online purchasing experience that we did not create or deserved. Until Lowes.com gets someone like the local store's employee whose commitment to assist us and stay with us thru this nightmare was exceptional (Jose Martinez) to oversee all of their customer support - stay away from purchasing anything online at lowes.com, and ONLY do purchases onsite at the LOCAL store.

    i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

When our…read morerange was delivered, it was brought and installed by Ned and Mahdi, who did an amazing job making sure that everything was properly installed without any damage to our floors or our home. Ned and Mahdi went above and beyond to provide excellent service and I would want them to help with any other appliance installation in the future! They were professional and careful and methodical.

I do recall his advice on plumbing but have never had to use it until now. He had gone with Soreano's exclusively for many years and I do recall him telling me that if I ever needed plumbing that they were the go-to guys. I've been lucky - dodged the need for a plumber for decades until now. Called Soreano's this morning - they fit me in and took care of the problem along with some additional preventive work that would have ultimately needed attention. Cannot beat the service and the response. And the price was very fair for the job and the additional work they performed. I called another service that has 4.9 stars here on Yelp and advertises being available 24/7. Never heard back from them. Their voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave a message. I left my callback number hours ago via SMS and still have yet to receive a reply. Needless to say - I don't need the other company and while I'm not looking forward to needing a plumber anytime soon I definitely calling Soreano's again. I cannot understand why Soreano's is 5 stars across the board. I even received a great tip for a new band to listen to that was right on point. Totally recommended.

While the plumber themselves are good, if there is a problem, the owner, Kevin tells you he will take care of it by phone but DOES NOT. After a few texts/calls, he ghosts the client. He lies. It's hard to find whether he is bonded and licensed. Not under Acclaim, not under Soreano. They made a couple mistakes that could have been corrected, but I had to go outside of them after two weeks of people having no shower to get it repaired. Kevin promised to re-pay me but just nothing. Out nearly $700. Filing with Wa Attorney General and trying to stop payment at Visa now.

I arrived in at 8:30am on Saturday morning -- an unexpected laundry trip to wash all of my bedding afternoon my elderly cat threw up after drinking water too quickly. Having soaked through the mattress pad, this became a cleaning job too big for my tiny apartment washer. When I walked in, Julio was busy at work cleaning lint traps and wiping down machines. As I looked around with my basket of laundry, a regular walked in. Julio greeted him by name. Then, turning to me, Julio asked if I wanted to split my laundry in two loads or wash all at once. I had three sets of queen sheets, plus a mattress pad, a light weight bed cover, a few extra top sheets and towels. The largest machine handled all of this with room to spare. Another set of sheets would have washed easily with the rest. At $14 per load for the LARGEST machine, dryers are $3.25 for 25 minutes. This is a little high, but this is about what I expected to pay for a wash in the city. The machines are fast, though and time is money. I'm glad to be in and out with fresh bedding in about an hour. I've driven by many times and it's always been busy. I can see why. The other laundromat closer to where I live is unattended, dirty, and the change machine never works. Truly this place is a is a breath of fresh air! It's not often that I have to take my things to a laundromat, but when I need to I'll be taking my things to Laundry Day. Ps. I just noticed the app tells you how many machines are available!

What little disarray there was seemed clearly a result of shoppers that day, and not continued lack of maintenance. I will say it really blows waiting in line. The day I came they only had customer service stands open, so everyone checking out was waiting for much longer returns to occur before they could take the next guest.
