Regarding the service today shopping at Lowe's. Wanted to thank associate Brian in the plumbing department for helping my husband find the parts for a custom-made water sprayer to use in a motorhome sewer tank. It was amazing, every part and supply my husband asked for, Brian took him to within seconds. Don't recall that ever happening so fast before and we shop a lot at Lowe's. Brian was stocking when we interrupted him so you would expect that he would know where parts were stocked but he also had the knowledge of a plumber. He provided exactly what we wanted. Very efficient and friendly. In case there may be more than one Brian, he was a big black man with a one-of-a-kind hair do. As we told him at the time, we thought Lowe's didn't have the parts, we just needed him to show us where they were! Also, Sue was very friendly when we checked out. I went to the checkout register twice yesterday with a/c filters with price assistance from store clerks because the filters ringing up a unusually high price, over $15 apiece rather than for the pack, as I contended. I left the store and bought 3 filters in a package nearby for $15.00. read more

I want to do a shoutout to two amazing team members at the Sebring Lowes. The first is Chet and he helped me with recommendations for my project and answered all my questions. Then the next day I had forgot one of the things he said so I called the store and another person named Dakota picked up and thought he didn't know the answer, he offered to call Chet (who had worked that morning and left) since he had his number, then he called me back with Chet's answer. Bought a complete granite top replacement from Sebring fl. Store may 23. I picked out countertop. Had the person come measure it. Secheduled the install date 6/21/23. They had me remove the old countertop. I hired a plumber to remove the sink and disconnect water, garbage disposal and disconnect dish washer. They showed up to install the countertop after everything has been removed and stated they refused to install it. Stated frame wasn't good enough for the granite top. They gave me all the requirments that i met. They had professional people come measure and check it out. No mention of a mobile home frame being suspect. I paid for everything. The installer stated he could beef up the structure but he might not have the screws. Later he totally refused to install. Talked to Amanda from Lowes. Who stated Lowes is not responsible for anything and suggested i probably wouldn't get a full refund if i requested a refund. During this install I purchased a new motion sensor faucet and new dishwasher to be installed. Currently my total countertop is removrd. No sink, no dishwasher. If i could give them less thqn 1 star i would. I will never purchase survices through them again. Close to 5000 dollars spent and they refuse to make it right. If I could give a no star review I would! I walked in and did not see a sign for another door for teturns, I asked the lady how to get to the desk and she told me "If you would have looked you would see the big sign telling you where". Then as I started my return and told her I did not have a reciept she told me that I was creating trouble because the head cashier would have to approve it. The head cashier took about 15 minutes to get there and when she arrived she decided to chat with other employees. She finally gave me store credit and emphasized that only I could use it. Talk about racism!!! Dumb old Caucasian and African lady went beyond to make us feel dumb. Went to return some lead roof boot that had gotten wet and we did not need anymore but the receipt got wet as well. The woman just started arguing how Lowe's doesn't sell that and didn't even bother to check at all! My husband bought them in Sarasota but since he's always traveling cause of his job, and today he didn't work cause of the rain so that's why we went to Sebring. Unless you live under a rock you know the deal. You've got two "big box" stores duking it out in this market. In this case they are almost directly across Rout 27 from each other. Here are my three tips for dealing with these two monster stores- Tip #1- If you are making a large big $$$ purchase, it's worth it to visit both. They are too close not to give it a shot. Tip #2- Lowe's definitely has the edge on home décor. For that kind of stuff go here. Tip #3- Similarly, Home depot has the edge on hardware choices. Trust me; I know these things! read more

worse customer service I've ever experienced. I brought appliances with them on 10/15/2022. I was suppose to have all appliances by 11-02-22. well I've yet to receive any of the appliances and have yet to hear when they will be installed. Spoke with three different managers and 3 different employees and they had no control on when they will be delivered and installEd. The management reflects how their employees treat clients. By the way none of their employees returned called when they said they would. All they had to do was give me installation date and get it done on those dates. Couldn't do it. Also asked to speak with district manager and they refused to give me contact information. Ask for full refund and I'm done with company. They don't appreciate your business. He was intercepted by another couple just before I got to the desk and didn't even acknowledge me as I stood there, clearly not with the couple. We attempted to shop for kitchen appliances. Customer service was horrible. One employee was helping another customer. We stood around for awhile. Then we saw three people standing around a computer. Two had employee vests. We walked up and said, "Can someone helps us?" They all walked away. Two walked away together and I over heard the man in the employee vest tell the other woman to put on her vest. She said she was not working. She was busy stuffing licorice in her face and bothering the employees who were working. Then a female manager walked up and started talking to the female employee and totally ignore us. We were the only two people standing there, waiting patiently. No one even said acknowledged us. What a joke! We went to ABC Appliances, just south on Sebring on Highway 98. Great service. The prices are good and they price match. Their delivery, installing and removal is cheaper than the big chains. Next days service. read more

Lowes is the best place to shop for all your home improvement needs. Clean store, full stocked, great customer service!

Its a good store with good people working it. Avoid major mealtimes as associates are mostly trained to only cover their own departments so when people are on break it can be hard to find people who can do more than just lead you to a specific product. Better prices on quality goods than their competition but not nearly as much a selection of cheap goods. For instance they dont have any non pressure treated lumber or scrap lumber which I occasionally use for building form boards. Despite its flaws its the best hardware store in the area when everything is taken as a whole ( stock, prices, quality). read more

Overall the group of folks working in this store are good decent people eager too please , however their is a very rude young man that works the tile and carpet section their today feb 26 th around 130 pm who is extremely rude too customers and wants them too know that, they are a huge imposition too his time . Very unorganized. I ordered some doors online for pick up to save time. Boy was I wrong. I received email it was ready for pick up so I head over to get them . Contractor desk said they can't find order go down to customer service wich has a line out the door and only one person workingvsbd 3 eith tere thumbs up there ass watching.. Asked to talk to a manager to find out he quit. I don't blame him. We went to Lowe's 4 months ago to buy a Riding Lawn Mower The elder Gentleman that we talked to was very helpful and delivery to Avon Park Fl. was free then next day went in to buy the rider well got a young kid that told us it was $75.00 to deliver well needless to say we walked out ! I called because Larry was so mad he would not go back I talked to Debbie in Lawn and Garden she said come back up delivery is free and to talk to her ! Larry would not go back so got him to go today now they did not have on floor but on website said you had 2 in stock well the person is going to put together tomorrow morning and we told Selvino which no one was in mower dept until we finally saw 3 workers walking together and asked them if they could help us to put our name on it and we well be back in the morning even told him if Larry has anymore trouble we will go to Home Depot ! So then we buy 10 bags of Mulch and the Lady was unreal in Garden Dept. I asked her did he get his Veterans discount and she turned around looked at me and threw her arms up in the air and walked back in to Garden the mulch was outside torn bags so we had to get some from inside ! This makes 2 people that have been unreal ! I got Larry to go back after months of being upset with the Lowe's in Sebring Fl. I sure hope tomorrow shows that your people want to work there and if they don't want to they should not be there ! Please have a meeting with your workers on how to wait on people and how to know your rules on Delivery !
