It's very hard to find an associate to help you and unless they are over the age of 50 they have no interest in customer service. Their prices are no great deal unless its a clearance sale. Most things listed as on sale they do not have in stock. I waited for a washer/dryer delivery on 6/30...with delivery window of 12:30-4:30pm. Not only did they not show up then, they never showed up! Never called! Everytime i checked the status, it showed that they were 2 stops away. I hung around until 10pm. Today is 7/1. The current status is delivery anytime between 8a-8p. It's now 6pm and still nothing. Worker was not knowledgeable in searching for my request and has me come in to discuss same thing discussed on first visit In addition advised me they don't t have mirrored barn doors size I requested (39"). 5/3 I Purchased a New Refrigerator from Lowes 5/6 Delivery Truck Arrived, they removed my old refrigerator from the house, then they removed the box for the new fridge from the truck, and when they remove the box to bring it in, the Refrigerator was completely smashed in on the top right back corner and dented on the bottom right back corner as if the refrigerator had been dropped. The delivery men tried to convince me to accept the damaged fridge saying if I took it in, they could do an exchange and have a new one for me in one day. If I refused to accept the damaged one and they had to take it back then they did not know how long it would be until I could get a replacement. This made no sense to me, so I called customer service, and the wait time was one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes. The drivers did not want to wait, so they said they would call their manager and have him call me. I receive a call from a number that showed "Potential Spam," but the delivery men said that was the number to answer it. So I answered, and I asked, "with who am I speaking?" he replied his name was Edgar and that he worked for 3961XDT, clearly I was already feeling uneasy because of what the drivers had already said to me and their attempts to force me to accept the damaged refrigerator, so I asked Edgar first, what is 3916XDT, I purchased the refrigerator from Lowes, he tells me they are the DC for Lowes which come to find out means their Distribution Center/Cross Docking Center in Passaic NJ. He tells me the issue is the drivers already marked the order as delivered on their cell phone against the order and to tell them to change it so he can process the exchange. If not, the order must be refunded, and I would need to purchase it again.  The driver sat on my front steps on his cell phone as if trying to change it from showing delivered to damaged. He said he did not know how to do it. I did not know whether he was pretending or did not know how. Edgar said he will take care of it (I do not recall the exact words, but they would have a new one sent to me, and he would call me back). In the meantime, I heard the one driver says to the other in Spanish, "I want to finish early today," which is likely the reason he did not want to take the damaged one back and likely why he did not want to sit around waiting and just marked it delivered. In the meantime, the drivers got up to leave, and I told them I wanted pictures as proof of what was transpiring before they left since I had nothing to show this refrigerator was damaged and refused or that I had spoken to anyone at Lowes. The only thing I had was an order showing delivered and a conversation from a Spam number telling me they worked for some place called 3916XDT, providing me contradicting information to what the drivers had told me. I proceeded to take pictures of the Refrigerator that was damaged, the truck, the two drivers, and a close-up of each of their Photo ID Badges on their arms. At this point, Edgar hung up with the promise of calling me back, the drivers left, but I still had my husband's phone on hold with Lowes customer service. After 57 minutes on hold, I got a person on the line (I forgot to ask her name), and she explained that what they said was incorrect and that an exchange was possible whether I accepted the damaged refrigerator or refused it. She put me on a brief hold after which she provided me with an "Exchange Case #" and she said I would be receiving a call within 24 hours from the DC with a new delivery date. After 24 hours and not receiving a call,   5/7 I called Lowes customer service back and waited over an hour on hold before I could get a person on the phone (Gail). I explained the situation to her, and she told me everything I was told was wrong, and exchange could not be done; it has to be refunded and re-purchased, and she will do that in the system now, send a note to the DC and they would be calling me to reschedule the delivery. I get a call later that day on 5/7 from the DC and they tell me it will be delivered 5/8.  On 5/8 @7:22 am I get a call from someone named Shaneeka saying that it was never marked as returned and that Lowes never pushed the order through to the DC, so the delivery will not be coming as scheduled. When I pushed for further information, she tells me that the DC in Passaic is only four weeks old and Lowes was trying something new to alleviate issues with deliveries or something to that effect and she will reschedule it. At 4:39 pm that same day (5/8) I speak to Tanasha who tells me it is now scheduled for 5/10 but that it is only an estimated delivery date, not certain it will in fact come on 5/10. (At this point i checked with my bank and I had two charges on my card for the refrigerator so I call the bank and put them on alert that I may need to dispute one of these charges.)  On 5/10 10:30 a.m. I received a call from someone by the name of Desirea who proceeds to Out of character space:/ read more

Even called corporate to complain and no one answers. It's been three long weeks without a refrigerator that I purchased only two years ago. I need my medication refrigerated and it's now being left in cold water or outside the window. I just retired and I am very aggravated Lowe's has not resolved this complaint. I can only speak for the garden center - I haven't been able to find citronella at my Queens Home Depot's and found it here no problem. Plus the two sales associates Mike and Sam were so friendly and personable! It's such a far cry from the sad and surly workers at the chain home improvement stores by me! Ridiculous doesn't speak to the atrocity this store it. I've done business with them twice. The first was a floor install where their service tech didn't measure the hallway, and to this day (5 months later) it's not complete. For the floor they actually installed, they didn't order enough material, and the little workers they hired refused to go back to the store to pick it up. So they half assed the first job, then came back days later to finally finish it. Now I bought a washer and dryer set from them. The dryer came. The washer showed in-store pick up online for some reason (I chose delivery online), so I called twice to tell them to deliver the washer as well. Each time I was told it was fine and the washer will be delivered. Delivery was an hour ago and guess what? No washer, only the dryer. I called again and the CS girl told me it would be a delivery charge for the washer if I wanted to change it. So you guys screw me over and can't rectify the situation yet again? I'm done with these clowns. I refuse to even get anything warrantied through them because I know they'd find a way to weasel out of it. read more

I originally purchased a refrigerator, that was defective, in the beginning of 2021 .. It is now the end of 2021 and a replacement refrigerator was just recently sent, that was defective as well .. Due to this, A LOT of my food that was recently bought spoiled, and I could not shop for refrigerated items at all .. Mind you, this was right before the Thanksgiving holiday .. I have a child with special needs and also run a licensed daycare that was/is hugely affected by the inconvenience of this situation .. There were multiple back and forth emails and phone calls made, with different associates and STILL we are in the same situation .. At one point we were told to come into the store directly, which we did and waited 45mins to not be assisted .. I literally had 2 defective refrigerators in my kitchen at the same time for about 2 weeks .. Delivery was to be made the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week .. I emailed early Tuesday morning to confirm if delivery was scheduled .. -- NO RESPONSE-- We actually didn't hear back from a Lowes Associate until the following Sunday evening .. Appointment was made for delivery drivers to deliver NEW refrigerator and pick up the 2 defective ones TODAY .. Driver calls stating they would be at my home within 15-20mins .. I literally called the same number back over an hour later .. They must've forgot about the delivery within that short amount of time, because I had to give them my address several times, and they had no clue whether they were picking up or dropping off a new replacement refrigerator .. They get to my house to only take one of the defective refrigerators and informed me there was an issue with the new refrigerator, and Lowe's would be contacting me ONCE AGAIN to schedule ANOTHER delivery date for the THIRD refrigerator to be delivered .. This has been beyond my worst experience ever ordering any appliances .. I will never do business with Lowe's again after this situation is finally rectified .. read more

My address not on his gps. I could barely understand him. Texted him my address. Never heard from him again. Went to store. No help from anyone. No apology from anyone. Was told by asst store mgr fault lies with trucking company. Trucking company calls to tell me delivery by 4.30. Frig arrives at 8:45pm. 2 nice guys deliver frog. Between the two of them they couldn't put 6 words of English together. Had to throw out all the good that had been sitting in coolers. Next morning I noticed the frig was never leveled and doors not aligned. Friends always shop neighborhood merchants. Big box stores care about one thing, bottom line. NOT YOU. I gave this 1 star. Simply horrible. I honestly wish I read over the reviews before I bought anything from them. I ordered a stove and a fridge from them recently. The fridge came in fine but the stove was damaged or so the delivery guy said and he took it back with him. I went to the store to rectify the situation and hopefully speak to a manager to help with the delivery of another stove and I waited about an hour for the "delivery manager". I'm sure he was a ghost because I haven't seen him. Anywho, it's been a few days now. Someone said that the manager will contact me and I've got nothing but phone rings every time I call. I decided to go to this Loews because it was on my way home. The salesperson, John was informative, patient and very helpful. He was also available when I needed to ask a question. It was clear that he was not trying to sell me something that exceeded what I needed. This store has shown a lot of improvement within the past few years. The place is much cleaner and organized. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaints is a lot of associates from different departments won't or don't know how to help across another area of the store. It could be frustrating when there's only one person working and a line starts to build up. Be prepared to spend a lot of time there if you have a big project. Paid the $35 for the measurement and she told me someone would just come to measure since it's an outside doorframe and someone would be in touch. No one called. They never showed up to measure. I went to the store 2 weeks later and the same employee laughed and told me I never scheduled a day. I told her that no one called and reminded her she told me they'd just "show up". Very fishy..... a "company" called me from the Lowe's store # claiming to schedule a measurement at a specific day/time. Shocker: they didn't show up. When I come In I'm always assisted with help right away the employees come to me an ask if I need anything which is great, it's hard to get good help from huge places like this. Im in the process of renovating my basement an I'm in an out often through out the week. They have more supply on Demand then Home Depot, an much more better deals. Today I came in an purchased a few odds an ends as well as a beautiful door that separates the basement to the main level of the house. The young girl Alyssa (cashier) was so much help today. She went above an beyond to help me put back one door to pick up another bc the glasses was slightly cracked she also helped me load it to the truck. In the process of this girl helping me she was verbally attacked by a crazy inpatient customer which she handled very professional an told him where he can pay if he choose not to wait on the line. Still waiting for resolution. I purchased a second dishwasher after they sold the first dishwasher to someone else. They said they had the replacement in stock and would deliver it within a day. I called the schedule installation and they said they could not because the store has not notified them that the dishwasher is in stock. Corporate customer service got involved and asked for 24 hours to schedule installation. That deadlines come and I received a second DM from corporate customer service and they're asking for additional time. I don't believe there is a dishwasher in stock or they would have simply called the installation people to schedule the installation. This is a horrible place to shop the way they constantly lie to the customers and sell merchandise which has already been marked for the livery for another customer. No resolution in sight.
