I have problems finding things at this store. The layout is awkward, and the signs aren't so great. But that's pretty typical of both Lowe's or Home Depot. It's pretty typical for a Lowe's location. Great customer service in the appliance (washer/dryer) department . My wife and I were looking for a washer and dryer and this was the only location that showed one available. When we arrived the last unit was just sold prior to us getting there. This was really disappointing, lucky for us Deanna was very helpful. She looked at other stores and called until she found one in Rancho. Felt like Deanna went above and beyond in helping us, went was far as calling to make sure the washer and dryer were there and also put the order together so all we had to to do was show up and pay. She has excellent customer service skills and went the extra mile to make sure we received our doors by assisting us even after she was off the clock by having Kevin from electrical assist us the rest of the way and Kevin helped us load the item into our vehicle. read more

Christian who works in the paint department was super helpful and continued up with his work he was working on and was glad to help me find a item not in his department and even went out of the way to make sure I checked out with no issues. Prior to me asking Christian... I was being ignored by a older blonde woman who had a "customer service" vest on, I asked for help and she look me in the eyes and continued to walk alway (Not nice). I own three houses and would not buy my appliances anywhere but in this store. Their prices are more competitive than any around, and I am an avid comparison shopper. I have never had a problem with anything purchased here. If I have a concern, the store manager is eager to answer my questions. I am so glad to live in the vicinity of this Lowe's store. read more

I use to really like lowes and hated home depot. But as of late I am liking Home depot more. Lowes has decided to go with the self check out stations. Usually I really like these. But here it can be a bit of a pain. No gun to shoot heavy objects, or long items (pvc pipe, bags of sand...etc). It is great for a handful of small items, but beyond that it is pretty worthless. 2 stars The last couple of times I have been there the only real cashiers open have been at the customer service desk. So you either have self check, or 1 maybe 2 people to check you out. 1 star Garden area is always clean and well stocked. I love the discount rack as you can find some great deals. Also they have a good stock of dirt, mulch, and garden pavers/stones. 3 stars There are generally plenty of people around to help you. Sometimes you can find someone who knows what they are talking about and is really helpful. Other times you find someone that can maybe point you to the correct isle. The guys over at the commercial desk seem to be about the best! 3-4 stars Prices and selection on just about everything is competitive to home depot. Some items I find better deal here, some items are better at HD. But to be honest most items are within a penny or two of each other. For instance I purchased some 12" pavers and they where the same price between the 2 places. 3 stars. read more

A few hours after having left Lowe's, I was under the impression I left my debit card at their nursery department. This was confirmed when I called and they said they had it. I drove to the location and James, the head cashier, searched for it with no luck. He got the assistant manager, Pete, who looked at me, shrugged and said there must have been a mistake because they didn't have my debit card. Pete put absolutely no effort into getting to the bottom of why I had called, had my card being in their possesion confirmed, yet it was no where to be found. He just said that somone with a similar looking card probably came in and picked it up within the ten minutes that I had called, confirmed it being there, and driven to pick it up. You're joking right? How likely is that? Well, it's not... I left frustrated with the apathetic, "not my problem," attitude I got from Pete. He didn't even apologize for the miscommunication that caused me to drive down there for no reason. WAIT, it gets better. I decided to go to the nursery department and asked the cashier to look one more time... What do you know, he told me his coworker definitely had it, but that he had gone to lunch and wasn't sure where he had left it. Are you joking? Why was I the one who had to do that? Did the managers know this and not want to deal with it? Or dod they just not care to ask a few questions and find it? My card ended up being IN THE REGISTER I LEFT IT AT. Come on, are you kidding me?! It took me less than five minutes to do the managers job and find my card. I expressed my concern to James about how they should have taken this more seriously, and he just got defensive. Shout out to Jaylin, the cashier in the nursery department, who was the only one who showed me a little empathy, effort, and was of help. read more

Placed and online order and 2 items on the order got cancelled. Went into the store to look for the cancelled items and found them in stock, what a suprised. Picked up my online order and when I got to my car realized that something was missing from my order. Went back in to ask the service person where it was and she proceeded to tell me that 2 of my items got cancelled, but I wasnt referring to the cancelled items as missing but a different product that was missing. She tried to argue and tell me I was wrong and kept telling her that I had an email I could show her but she was adamant that I was wrong. When I finally got the chance to show her their mistake, yes lowes your mistake, she finally saw that the order was missing something and went to grab it. Lowes customer service is absolutely horrible, they messed up and cancelled my order when items were in stock and placed an incompetent individual to help out guests who insisted she was right without giving the guest a chance to state their case. And she had an attitude the whole time instead of apologizing for the mistake and fixing it. It's definitely not my problem the mistake happened and it isn't my problem that this lowes location continues to get bad reviews. Great job. read more

Wasn't told about special order on stacking kit a waited a whole month to arrive 3. Finally they arrived with the dryer and arrived damaged 4. Another month comes for a new dryer then they don't plug it in to the outlet, narrow squeeze unit where I was able to fit a stackable washer dryer and called them to have get their employees come back to help me pull two appliances out to connect power I have to wait days bull shit!!! I live further from this Lowes than Home Depot. I found that the store isn't that crowded because they truly help you, unlike my many visits to Home Depot over the last fifteen years. I asked a woman who was handing out the weekly bargins at the entrance where a product was. she pointed the way and told me exactly where, what isle, and what side it was on. On my way back I had about six or seven people ask me if they might help me. Huh? Imagine that. I was surprised as Home Depot has not been that attentive...ever! A contractor friend said that the store seems void of many customers because the employees help everyone, thus shorter time in the store. Yes, thay have self checkout but Home Depot has had that for a long time and it's just as confusing. Big box store and customer service...what a deal!! read more

By far my worst customer service experience. After placing an order for pick-up on their website, I received a call about 30 minutes later informing me that it wasn't in stock and they had to cancel my order. No apology or offer to help me find the product elsewhere. Also they failed to inform me that there would be a 24 hour hold on the refund to my gift card that I used to place the order. So I drove 30 minutes to another location where the item was in stock only to find this out the hard way. After constant back and forth with multiple reps trying to resolve the issue (and waiting on hold for 15 minutes each time I called in), they're default answer is "there's nothing I can do to help". 4 phone calls later and a total of 5 hours of my time, they were finally able to resolve the issue and release the funds back to my gift card. They were much more interested in shooing me out the door than trying to help. I won't be giving them any more business. read more

Spent an hour at the store working with their team in the door department. Picked out the door we wanted, recieved an estimated cost, and scheduled an appointment for them to come to our house. We had to wait 3-4 weeks since we wanted a Saturday appointment. They came to our house today, didn't have any record of what we picked out, and the cost doubled! Then they said if we wanted to move forward they would need to come back out, check measurements again, sign contact, and place order. I went to look for hibiscus plant...saw the garden clerk helping a customer so I just tried to look for it myself...found it and both a miracle gro plant soil..so I have two items and wanted to check out...went to the checkout station and the line was so long ...seems nobody wants to help and care and call for assistance ... so since I saw the clerk helping the people and directed them to the returns service I asked her if I can also call in line because the line was so long at the check out... guess what she said yes just wait because they were processing pick up customer ... that was okay with me and was so happy about it Coz I was the third person...guess what happen...when she was about to check me out she walked away and did not even excuse but the other person at the counter that she needs to go somewhere ... that was really not cool..looks like she like to help people on her own kind a Latino couple....she is a racist jack ass bitch...she just walked away...so I ended up going to the checkout and then there was a clerk at the counter and so I asked her if she was open...oh no I'm taking the customer from line 1... guess what was there a person on line 1 none....these people are lazy totally lazy... not even a charisma to say oh sorry I am taking the line form line 1.... they just want to send you away to the self check out.... if you don't like your job then quit .. jack ass... I understand theres a pandemic, I understand safety measures are in place....but do not take it out on your customers. It is NOT OUR FAULT you have a huge back up for self checkout. Your store chose to have one long gigantic line feeding down one aisle....why not break one side down for one set of self check out and use ... (dont blow your mind now with this revolutionary idea) a SECOND AISLE to feed to the right, and have an employee direct traffic? And this is directed to the rude woman working the card line at 7PM on 6/10. If I wanted to be treated like shit and questioned if I have other credit cards to use, I would have stayed married. I'm purchasing 14 moving boxes,but your store doesnt put out the long beds, so I need to stack 14 boxes on top of the shopping cart! When I tell you theres 14, I'm not trying to cheat you out of 1.44 cents a box....you chose to fumble them all over. I'm not ready to move I'm actually straightening the boxes (that you messed up) so they dont fall. You grab the cart and you push it towards the door. WOW! Come on lady, it's not my fault you have a giant line and can't go home...your store decided to do the one line thing, and then they let your highly unqualifed-self run the register! You get two stars because the guy and girl back in home storage were cool and helpful. You get 0 stars because you were rude and inefficient. I have been to this same location 3 times in the last two weeks specifically to purchase flooring. Each time I have gone I have been extremely disappointed by the service. All times have been during the week and not on a busy weekend. 1st time - a girl wasn't from that department (was covering for someone else)...so she couldn't answer my questions. No worries...I'll come back. 2nd time - Associates that were there were too busy to help me. 3rd time - I went in knowing what I was wanting. Did my homework on Lowes.com and even spoke to someone online before going back in the store. After wondering around for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help me, I finally found someone. I kid you not, he might have said 2 words to me. I asked if I could ask him a question about a product. Instead of acknowledging me, he just looked at me. I asked my question (with no verbal response from him) he tried to look up the item number on his device (still no words). After he typed it in his device and the item number (from Lowes.com) was not coming up on his device. He literally just said "we don't have it". Ummmm.....are you sure???! He literally was ZERO help. My husband order a dishwasher with attachments and apparently they didn't have it in stock so instead of calling me or my husband they sent my purchase to another store, I called the Chino Hills store who shipped the attachments and someone canceled the dishwasher (again to communication to me) and now I am waiting for my dishwasher to arrive, I look online and see that it cancel. Upland doesn't like to answer the phone in no departments and no one in other stores can located the order or the dishwasher but is quick to charge me for it. To make matters worse, other stores are telling that they have it and I can pick it up no discount no nothing for a mistake that I didn't even cause. My kitchen is paid for and designed for a dishwasher which is BS because I don't have a dishwasher. My husband and I have spend too much money at this location to deal with this type of shit, so after this I am done with Lowe's, going back Home Depot. They lucky they received one star. read more

I've gone to this Lowe's so many times as it is close to my home, but they have a product stocking problem. Many, many times I've gone there and they are out of common items like pvc couplers, flat washers, etc. This time, I went twice the same day. Once, to have a passage lock set rekeyed. The person who could do it was at lunch. Really, only one person knows how to do this? The second was to obtain flat washers to attach a sprayer head to a shower hose.....they don't even carry such washers. LASTLY, whenever you use the men's room, there are so many holes drilled through the stall walls, you spend time plugging them with tp to safely use the facility without being visually assaulted gawked at by some pervert. Why doesn't Lowe's fix that? I'll let you be the judge of that.............. read more

Went in to purchase Christmas storage bags went up to the register to pay for them and I told them there was 75% off of all Christmas items ,but they told me they where not on sale I ask to speak with manager Michael Cox was rudely and argue with me over the cost which I show him the sign but in his words he said those are not Christmas items they are regular items so I had to pay the regular price. The customer service here is terrible. The employees don't know anything about home improvement. And management doesn't seem to care about your time or how satisfied you are when you leave. Today, they had only the self-service lane open, with half the self service registers out of order and a line of about 10 people waiting to pay. After purchasing propane, i waited over 20 minutes for somebody to unlock the propane cabinet, despite reminding the employee several times that I was waiting. My biggest mistake was coming here to begin with. Home Depot is way better in every respect. read more

Each time I was unable to talk with anyone associated with those departments even after talking to other associates and having them call and page someone. Today I went in on Memorial weekend and as usual I got awesome service. There is always staff around, willing to help and knowledgeable of their product. One of the Assistant Managers Lino is always helpful and has been able to squash any hiccups in my orders. Their department head Vicky has always been helpful as well. Today Richard helped out in garden with me trying to figure out what barbecue was best for my needs. So happy that this store is close to my home since this Lowes is my favorite to shop. read more

Keisha the corporate supervisor repeated "my washer was covered the first 6 months. She transferred me to Korea, never holding on with me to see the outcome. SHAME ON YOU LOWES! I've been a mostly-Lowes customer for some time now since they have a 10% discount for veterans and their products and services have been good. They're also close by. When we need lumber, patio furniture, plants, etc, we don't shop much, we just go to Lowes and see what they have. Until now, that is. We needed a garage refrigerator and I figured out the best one is one particular GE model that everyone has at about the same price. So I ordered it from Lowes and it was delivered the next day in good condition. It works fine, so no complaints there. I did notice that my veterans discount didn't apply but the item was already discounted a little so I didn't think about it, not knowing if the discount applied to appliances or sale items. (spoiler--It used to but no longer does) A few days later, while looking for something else on Lowes website, I saw a banner showing my new refrigerator now on sale for $145 less! No problem, Lowes has a 30 day price drop policy--I even used it once a few years back when my new miter saw went on sale right after I bought it. So I contacted theme and the CSR said that 'they don't do that anymore'. Well, I said, that makes no sense--after all I have a 30 day return window, so I could (in theory--it is a refrigerator) simply return it and buy it again, right? Well no, they now have a 48 hour return policy on major appliances. You'd better plan on installing that new dishwasher immediately! It turns out they've greatly reduced their veterans discount policy as well. I have a My Lowes account, yet I never received any notifications of these recent changes. So anyway, I got my refrigerator and it works fine, so I can't say I've been ripped off. However, for $145 their management and policies have converted me from a "just go to Lowes" customer to a hardcore shopper again. So for any regular Lowes customers reading this review, check the fine print before you make any major purchases from Lowes as you might not be getting the same deal as you were getting before. read more

First of all, I had to walk around the store to find someone to help me. The person I located pretended to have knowledge about garage "shelves" instead of saying she didn't know. I picked out the shelf I wanted and asked for help to load the unassembled shelf in a cart. I waited but no one appeared. So I struggled to put the shelf in myself, paid for the item and asked the cashier to call someone to help me load the shelf into my truck. She did. No one appeared. On Wednesday June 8 we bought two 2" blinds. After getting them home, we found we needed 1/2 inch cut off. I called Lowe's and was told yes we will cut them, bring them in. So we loaded them up the next day and returned to Lowe's only to be told "Oh our machine is down and we only cut Levour blinds, not the cheap ones. I said fine, here's my receipt I'm returning these and I'm going to Home Depot. They had the blinds and cut the "cheap" ones to size and they look great. Today, June 12, my adult son and husband go to Lowe's to buy base molding and trim. Finding they needed additional pieces my husband returned to Lowe's to purchase 2 more pieces of each only to be told they don't carry the trim pieces at all. My husband returned home and he and my son went back again to Lowe's where my son immediately found the pieces they needed. When my husband had the employee called to the front he told him here's the trim you say you don't carry!! He said where'd you get them? He was in charge of the department and didn't know what products they carry. In a couple of months we are paying off appliances we purchased there and I don't think we will be doing further business with Lowe's due to their poor customer service and the attitudes of their employees. I was shopping for fire logs and saw they had an amazing price, put two in my cart and went to checkout. They rang up almost $10 more than what was on the shelf. I cancelled the sale and went to find an employee who could verify the price on the shelf. Savannah walked back with me and pointed out how what was on the shelf had been misplaced. With no hesitation she said she would honor the price for my two items. And she did it with a smile and apology. If she is not in charge she should be. read more
