I stopped by Lowe's in Upland to pick up bubble wrap to store my Christmas decorations. It took a little time to find the right area and someone to help, but the associate I spoke with was helpful and pointed me to where I could find what I needed. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and purchased two rolls, though I did feel the price was a bit high. I used the self-checkout, which was open and easy to use. The associate there was friendly, and checkout went smoothly. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would return to this location.

Went in looking to buy a drill, found one priced at $179 when I got to the counter to pay, she asked if I wanted extended warranty and I declined then she said $257. When I told her the drill was $179 she said she has to go by what's scanned. Manager came and confirmed it was the wrong sticker on the display. I asked if he would sell me the drill at that price and he declined. At least at Home Depot and individual cashier can give a $50 discount without a manager. Lowe's was having no part of that and that is why I will never go there again

3/25/24 To rent vs to own? Pool pump

3/25/24 Hubby has a new project he's working on and I'm a bit skeptical but I will go along with it....as long as it doesn't turn into a disaster...LOL. He's been doing his research and we've discussed the pros & cons of having our pool care done by professionals vs on our own. So we're at Lowe's looking for a sump pump to drain the pool (to start anew). Thankfully we found an employee to inquire where to find the pumps. Done. Now we'll see how this all goes down.... 4/10/24 So Hubby has been draining the pool a little bit at a time coz it's time consuming & it's loud enough to bother some neighbors. Now we're looking for a more effective garden hose coz the one we had were not as effective. One had a hole so it leaked (our old one). So Hubby had to buy another one but that wasn't as sturdy. The pressure of the pump would compress it & would only duck a little bit at a time. Went to Harbor Freight but we thought Lowe's would have more or better hoses...wrong. Now we're headed back to Harbor Freight. This has become a mission.

Needed new front and back door lock and dead bolt set of 2 for my home

I have been in and out of this store so many times to look at prices and things needed for the home or to repair it. I like going here because it's easier to find a worker to get some help, unlike another store that has orange color. I was in a decent rush to find my item I needed to get yesterday. I can't remember the guys name, but he was very helpful and thorough when he led me to the door lock and dead bolt set of two I purchased as well as he also gave me some comparison knowledge of similar or upgraded products. Kudos to that guy for knowing product location and information. I got up to the scan it yourself check out, scanned, paid with card, and was out the door all within five minutes! If you know me, I hate being in any store whether for home repair or grocery shopping at that. Perfect visit! I will be back here in the near future for sure!!!

Holy crap!! Avoid this Lowe's at all costs. The customer service is atrocious!! I placed an order for 12 cases of tile. The in store display says "7 days or less". The online estimate was for 5 days. 5 days came and no update. I called the store and was told they don't know where it was then was told that the tile was going to arrive almost a week later. I asked to talk to a manager because that was totally unacceptable. The female manager picks up the phone and is immediately hostile towards me. I explain what's going on and she essentially shrugs it off and goes "well it's estimated and it said that". I ask then why is your online site and in store advertisement for 7 days or less. No where on the sign does it say "estimate". She has ZERO interest in attempting to apologize for this and goes as far to say well it's corporate's fault the sign says that. I explain that I have a job to do and was relying on those tiles and she then says "we why would you have planned work if you don't have the product". Um because the product should have been here by now! She then said "well it's coming Tuesday so what else do you want?". She said she'll transfer me to corporate because I bought the tile online it it's just an estimated delivery (refusing to acknowledge that the signs says 7 days or less) and I asked for her name she ignored me then transferred me. For a company that relies on contractor business they certainly seem to hate their patrons. From the website to the store this whole process has been a horror show. Wish I had that terrible manager's name so I can put it here but I guess when you're that bad at your job you don't want people to be able to identify you.

The patio set I bought with the help of yosoon

I had great help from a wonderful employee here !! Yosoon I probably didn't spell his name correctly, but I bought patio furniture and he was super helpful by helping with the measurements! Great person to talk too even lugged it out and put in my car ! Very very generous person!

Our gas alarm went off, so we called the gas company, and they believed the pressure regulator was the issue. Vahan came out and spent a good hour thoroughly checking everything and trying to confirm the leak, but couldn't find one. Instead of just guessing or replacing parts unnecessarily, he took the extra step of contacting Thor directly. They told him this is a known issue with these regulators and that they can sometimes have a very minimal leak. Vahan explained everything clearly and went over our options: replace the regulator to be safe or leave it as-is since he wasn't able to detect a leak. We decided we'd rather be safe and replace it. The part came in quickly, and Vahan returned to install it. He really took his time afterward checking everything again to make sure it was safe and working properly. Really happy with Angel Sky Appliance and especially Vahan. Thorough, knowledgeable, honest, and never felt like he was trying to sell us something we didn't need. I would definitely recommend them.

Online information said it was probably a fan that moves airflow from the freezer to the fridge. Maybe a motor or a control board. The service tech came to my house to look at the fridge. This took about 10 minutes. I had already pulled the fridge out and had it ready to be checked. The tech just pushed some buttons on the fridge controls and read out a code within minutes. Nothing removed or taken apart. Based on the code, the cost for repair would be $824! Not to mention that the warranty would only be a few months. I could have done the same thing with the buttons and gave him the code to avoid a $95 service call. He could have then told me that he would charge me over $800 for the repair. Not too happy to be charged over $500 an hour for diagnostic work. People think about this before you commit to a $95 service call fee! I bought a new side by side refrigerator/freezer for $1100 (with 10% off coupon) from Home Depot.

While the basic installation fee was $250, they charged me an extra $75 just to slide the existing machines 10 feet out into my courtyard because management hadn't moved them yet. On top of that, they heavily overcharged for the new installation kits (braided washer hoses and a gas dryer line). To cap it all off, the technician left the dryer door swinging open the wrong way, completely blocking the opening to the area. Now, as a disabled person, I have to awkwardly maneuver and dance around the door just to get into it and use the machine. When I called to ask them to fix this basic oversight, they wanted to charge me another $150. For a job that cost well over $500 with parts and fees, basic attention to detail should be included--not treated as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of a customer. Total price gouging for careless work.

He let us know we needed balancing springs. The cost was high at $450 for this type of work but considering that they charge a $190 non-refundable amount to show up, we felt we had to move forward with them. They let us know that they would contact us in a couple of days but never did. We had to follow up with them a few times to finally setup another visit to finish the work. Unfortunately we could not use the washer during this time. To add insult to injury, they charged us a deposit and a final payment...both with a $6 processing fee, which they did not disclose. Not a good experience...based on the reviews, seems like a hit or miss. Unfortunately, we got a "miss" on this call. Will not be using them again.
