Do not do bisiness with these people. At best, they will steal your money. At worst, as you will see below, they will put you and your family at risk, just to cover their mistakes. Unsafe return processes resulted in a used and fully fueled lawn edger being re-boxed, placed back on their shelves and re-sold WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS. This is huge fire code violation and a great danger to customers, especially during transport. Since this was during the holidays, this could have been gift wrapped and left under some family's Xmas tree! Killing your customer's family in a house fire is no way to so business! I attempted to return this item less than 1hour after purchase, but Store manager apparently understood the risk of fire marshal fines, and thus refused to accept return. I was forced to return item to home to dispose of the fuel that Lowes sold me in the edger. They even refused to temporarily provide me with an approved safety container. One hour later the manager, again refused to accept my subsequent attempt at a return, as this was a "used" item. He clearly did not want to risk admitting their error, for fear of fire marshal fine. I left the edger at the return counter and left without refund or Apology. But my wife's car DID stink of gas for the next week. She also advises that you do not do business with these people. Actually, she had some interesting comments about the manager,s parentage, but this is not the Place for that. read more

I went to Lowe's instead of Home Depot because I had a gift card I needed to use up. It is an absolutely awful store. I guess their merchandise is probably parallel to Home Depot, if you don't mind wandering around, misdirected by not one but THREE separate, surly and disinterested employees. And no they were not shorthanded. There were numerous employees around, not one of whom asked what I was looking for, offered direction, or even greeted me. The store was also a pigsty - very messy and jumbled. They must put some kind of "grumpy" in the water there. I would seriously try to avoid. read more

Worst experience shopping went early around 9 am to the carpet and floor department and I asked the associate sitting at the desk with her phone in her hands for patio/outdoor carpets and she sent me to isle 13 went there and it was tools nothing to do with had I asked came back to her and with out looking playing with her phone told me to go to to go to another place finally after wandering around I found what I needed she never moved or did anything but stayed with her phone now went to pay only 1 register open and about 8 people in line waited for 15 min to pay poor service and management that's why Home Depot is doing better read more

After paying $35.00 to measure windows at the Vero Beach store, I found out that I wasted my money. Visited the store about 10 times and no one available to take my order. Help in this store is never available. I was lucky to find some help to buy a ceiling fan. What is happening at this store. Carol in the blinds department has not been able to return my call. So I went in to get some air filters and remembered I needed to grab a drainage hose for the washer I was getting. Overall I found everything I needed but it took way too long as employees seem scarce. When I finally did get to talk to somebody I was directed to the appropriate location but what should of been a 10m trip ended up taking 25m. read more

Purchased on Black Friday a refrigerator,dishwasher,washer and dryer within 2monthes washing machine is broken (General Electric)it's not an American company anymore. Anyway we had warranty person come out,blew the mother board on it meanwhile the problem was the springs on the drum. So here we are almost 2 weeks later and still no washer. Called lowes they said we can't bring washer back ....basically we are shit out of luck. Can't get ahold of GE. Don't do business with Lowes in vero beach. read more

They often have sale and clearance items, more than home depot. Good choice of plants and friendly staff.

A few times Ive been in to buy appliances and the employees have been Jonny on the Spot. And in the Electrical Dept., Ed is an employee there that is very helpful everytime Ive needed supplies. And in the Lock and Key Hardware Dept there are some helpful employees as well. I do believe that Lowes does need "Improvements" (no pun intended) made as far as extra Employees in the Paint Dept. The Paint Dept is ALWAYS busy busy busy. And most of the time Lowes manager assigns only one Employee to that Dept. I am a Commercial Painter by Trade and I know what it takes to Operate a Paint Mixing Dept. Even Private Corps have anywhere from 5-7 Employees mixing and taking Paint orders. This store is AWFUL! Lowe's is a great company, but someone really needs to fix up this hole! The AC hasn't worked for a long time and the management here is a JOKE. They never help, they just pass you on to the poor employees beneath them who seem miserably overworked and under appreciated. I've shopped here many times, but I just cannot support this store anymore. read more

Poor customer service. You are in trouble if you place an online order. I placed an order online and upon receiving an email telling me to pickup the items since they are ready I went there. I received the order sheet after I signed in at the front desk. The person in front desk told me to go to lumber section for assistance. I told the lady at the register in the lumber section that I would like to pick up the order. She called a floor worker. He wasted few minutes looking for the items that were supposed to be ready for pick up and then he handed over the order sheet to another female worker he suddenly met in the lumber section. She started to find out the location of the processed order including an area in rear side beyond the secured door on which "employees only beyond this point". When she came back she told me the order is not ready yet and that is not her problem because she does not take care of internet sales- that is a separate department. I told her that I had my hired day workers waiting outside the store with a rented truck. She replied that she was trying to just help me and trying to do me favor mentioning again that she is not responsible for internet order. I told her that somebody should be there to co-ordinate and manager should ensure that the internet orders are fulfilled without any hassle. She called the manager and I keep waiting. When the manager arrived after several calls and prolonged waiting she looked at me with an attitude of a gang leader more concerned about protecting her poorly trained subordinates than resolving a legitimate issue raised by a customer. I told that I am disappointed because it is taking too long to fulfill the order that was supposed to be ready for pickup without delay. I am also disappointed because your workers keep blaming internet department and as a customer I do not care who inside your business is responsible for what activity and i do not like the blame game. I see that there is no coordination among departments and you should be responsible for that. She threatened me to cancel the order if I do not try to understand. I told her Lowes had to reimburse me the money I spent on hiring the workers and truck for the day if she cancels the order. She then said, I am going to get it done as fast as I can and ordered other floor workers to load the items in the car. I would not recommend placing online order at this Lowes store and I hope Lowes will take steps to train its workers and employ people who can responsibly manage the retail business. read more

Incompetent store managers leave floor understaffed and staff unsupported. Extremely long lines at "customer service" counter with overwhelmed staff unable to resolve issues from returns to product pickup to simple requests for help in specific store sections. Currently, I am on hold (10 minutes and counting) waiting for information on a product I ordered for in-store pickup. Order tracking on Lowes website says "in store ready for pickup"; corporate office confirms website and provides specific in-store location; store cannot find it and cannot tell me when I can expect it to be available. I am now awaiting a store manager to handle my call. this is typical for this location. Home Depot is across the street; service is only a bit faster, but much better at communication. Take your business there! STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO WORK FOR IT! read more
