My husband and I just moved here from South Carolina and maybe we were spoiled with the customer service. Looking for paint and parts to build a door and it felt as though the employees couldn't be bothered to answer our questions, almost as though we were a burden. Spoke with three different employees and all were unfriendly. Disappointing after coming from a Lowe's that we loved. Will probably have to check out Home Depot from now on. read more

Purchased a garage door opener that was supposed to be installed two days later. Kept getting the run around and cancellations for the install date. Tried contacting the store by phone and customer service kept placing me on hold, disconnecting the call. When asking the customer service rep for her name was met with attitude and was hung up on. Forth time finally got through to a manager. Customer service at this Lowe's has gone downhill and is a horrible store to deal with. Not to mention past orders that were damaged, mishandled and not filled out correctly. In person customer service is just as bad, need help finding something and you'll be directed to the various aisles without being helped. No longer a shopper here at this Lowe's. The staff that runs the registers is nice, but the people working in the blinds area really fail at doing their job. I don't know if its because women were the ones cutting the blinds for us, or if its because the machine that they use back there sucks, but I had to back and return/exchange my blinds at least 4 times (not exaggerating) because they were either not the right length, cut too short or broken. It's stressful enough moving into a new house and trying to get settled in and situated-- any home improvement is stressful really. Going to LOWES shouldn't be a stressful experience also--it should be easy and pleasant! read more

I shop at both Lowes and HD, Lowes is the best by far. Better organized, better selections and better staff. I've read the negative comments but haven't experienced any of that. All places can have a glitch from time to time, I'm an avid DIYer and all I know is, Lowes is the best place in Yuma. read more

I love this Lowe's. It's my go-to place for trees for my backyard... the prices are reasonable and they have a 1-year warranty on plants... of course, they have plenty more available. The staff is generally helpful too... a quality that can be hit or miss at home-improvement warehouses (i.e. Home Depot). read more

Got our blinds from Lowe's. They lied to us by saying the style we wanted could not be ordered for our windows. After the blinds we ended up ordering arrived, we found out that we could have gotten the original blinds that we wanted. The guy that showed up to install the blinds (the "company" he worked for was contracted out by Lowe's) came in only with a cheap electric drill. He had to borrow our ladder, level, ruler and drill bits!!! The entire experence was awful and to top it off, Lowe's refuses to refund our money for any of it even though they were the ones that lied. read more

It's always good to stop by Lowe's and compare prices. From my experience Home Depot is easier on the wallet, however you do fine occasional savings at Lowe's. On this particular day I had a very good experience, considering I didn't find what I was looking for. I was stopped by 7 different employees asking me if I needed anything. I was only there for less than 20 minutes. That's pretty good costumer service! Now, if this sort of thing bugs you, I suggest you head on over to Walmart, where they make a point to ignore the costumer. Anyways, it's always good to have options. read more

3 weeks for them to finish my kitchen cabinets... The installer measured an angle wrong on my countertops and Lowe's called me to say that since the angle wasn't a perfect 45 degrees that I would have to pay for a new countertop! Ya, right. They figured I was right and I didn't have to pay but I HIGHLY recommend not using their subcontracted services. Go to a private installer. The price will be less too I've found. They have a new area that is called the pick up desk, very friendly associate greeted me. Walked in the store pleasantly surprised to see it so clean. They had sales ad at the main entrance. Very festive for the fourth of July holiday, flags flying. I walked to get paint samples and was asked by a couple workers if I needed help. They gave me good ideas, will be back to make a purchase. read more

I recently purchased Pella windows through Lowe's and had them installed by a Lowe's contractor. This entire experience was a nightmare. Sales was a failure, installation was a miserable failure, the product because of controllable misfortunes was a failure. went into Lowes to buy a table for the patio. Had what I wanted but none in stock Were to get some in the following week. I ask how could I get one and was told that they would call me when they got in. Stopped in the following week and ask they had gotten them in but did not call and all were sold. Was told that they couldn't order another but would sell me the display model for an additional 10% off. when I checked out gave me the 10% would not give me my 5% on my Lowes card. Talked to the manager and said he must have a training problem but couldn't do anything about it Said guess I will have to air my concerns on the internet He said go ahead he didn't care Wrote a review to Lowes and there answer was were sorry but your review has been rejected and were sorry they were unable to approve my review. No doubt that Lowe's has alot of variety when it comes to your home, however, the customer service was awful! My husband and I went in looking for a particular item, and the staff seemed to be very "iffy" and "put-offish" about it. Placed an order for a washer and a dryer. We were told it would be delivered in 2 weeks but then got rescheduled for 2 days later. We called the day prior to verify the order and were confirmed it would be delivered. Now its the day of the store called but we missed the called, so we called back got transferred 8 times and the last time the customer service girl hung up the phone. All I want to know is where is my washer and dryer! This place lacks serious management, since we asked numerous times to be transferred to a manager and we got the CHECK OUT GIRL answering our call. Better managers and better employee etiquette. My advice DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS HERE. If you need something asap go to the store and buy it. otherwise don't waste your time or money. very disappointing, my first experience in Yuma from New York.. and they call New Yorkers rude. I've had better customer service from guys selling candy bars on the freaking subway then from the employees at Lowes in Yuma, AZ. read more
